The garlic knots were great, service was good, pasta was awful. Meatballs were good but the sauce tasted scorched.

Alright this isn't the classiest joint, nor the most well appointed, but what it has is some darn good Italian food. Their pizza is up there with the best that I've had in Orlando, and their pasta dishes are very well done. I would whole heartedly recommend this place if you go into it knowing that you're going into a locally run, locally owned business. It's folks from our community putting together some truly wonderful food, in a homey atmosphere.

As a native New Yorker I can be picky about pizza but I was impressed when I ordered their pepperoni pizza and their deep dish reminds me of a Sicilian pie back home. I don't know what their dine-in experience is like but I can tell you their delivery service sucks! The service over the past year has declined, the past few times we ordered pizza the cheese and toppings slid all over to one side of the pie during the delivery process, they also slice the pizza into 16 tiny slices, no matter how many times I requested they cut it into 8 slices, they always did the 16 slices making me feel like I was at a kid's birthday party. The delivery people often came unprepared for me to sign the receipt having me run around my house trying to find a pen. One time after an hour of waiting we got the wrong pizza then waited even longer to get the correct (now cold) pizza. We kept giving them a shot because the pizza is good but needless to say, we have moved on to another pizzeria and it's a shame cause this place has really good garlic knots but awful delivery service!

Love this place for pizza! I called ahead and they stayed open for me to come get a pie. Nice, fresh crust, excellent flavor for sauce. My go to place for take-out.

This is a little location located on 434 in Winter Springs, in the same plaza as the DMV. The place is your typical Italian place offering everything from pastas to pizza and off course your soft drink. Service is good and the staff is friendly also the food is pretty good and the prices are cheap, you get a lot for your money.

This a converted pizza hut Italian joint. It is definately a dive. We both ordered the lunch manicotti at $5.99. No music but a soap opera was playing on the TV in the corner. At 2:13 we were one of 2 couples here. Came out straight from oven. Sauce a bit thin. And then the TV's lost reception which just added to the lack of ambiance. Average food, nice service, fair prices.

they have the BEST pizza!! I'm from new jersey and moved to Orlando 8 years ago. it's taken 8 years to find someone that makes a pizza the way it should be made. if you're driving through the winter springs area, make it a point to stop in and grab some garlic knots and some pizza!

I'm not really sure what happened to this place but my family and I have been regulars here for years but I'm now hesitant to even step foot back in there. In the past we've always been happy and actually my mother and grandmother had just been there a few days before! Maybe the weekend staff is different?? Ordered the usual pizza and it came out as a very average pie. Nothing like the identical pizza ordered earlier that week. Ordered our favorite salad with house dressing. Came out with less toppings than usual and our favorite dressing nowhere to be found. All five of us agreed it was totally different. It was simply covered in bland cheap oil with a splash of vinegar. No seasoning. Literally none. I asked the server about the dressing being different and was told it's the same as always and wasn't offered any way to correct the issue such as an alternative dressing. Strike two. Got 2 ten piece ordered of wings. Both were cooked only enough to be considered safe to eat. Very soggy and fatty and no flavor to the sauce. All salt and grease. Again we had a party of 5 and each of us who tried the first flavor agreed they were nasty. Two of my kids had regrettably placed 2 on their little plate but only ate the one because it was so bad. My mom and I then checked the flavor of the other wings which were just as bad and flagged down the waitress to tell her. She argues with me that they're baked not fried and therefore won't be crispy, well that's just how they are, they look done etc etc. After seeing that she wasn't going to argue me into submission she asked how many we had left?? "Um well we all tried one of this flavor so there's a couple left and I dunno my daughters have one on her plate still because after eating one we didn't want the rest so....um the other flavor my mom and I tried one each to see how those were so there's 8 there...." I was kind of confused at the question and she takes the plates and goes back to the kitchen for a while. She then avoids our table for a bit even though we clearly needed refills on drinks (I had asked for more water when I told her about the wings anyways) and had just had about half of our meal removed inedible from the table. She never brought the , never brought new wings, never asked us if we wanted something else in place of it etc. After about 15 minutes She brings us our check and a box for the remaining pizza, tells us she took off the wings we had left that we didn't eat. But only the mostly remaining flavor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I didn't realize we needed an inspector for each thing brought to the table so out of a ten piece wings with five people at the table I guess that's what was supposed to happen. Didn't expect to have to inventory the items ordered to satisfy a rude server either, my apologies. Worst food and service I've had in a very long time anywhere. Doubly disappointed at this coming from what used to be one of our favorite places too. Considering we were practically kicked out it's a good thing we didn't want dessert!

My husband and I came about this place on surprise, and at first we were not going to stop, It's in an old parking lot, where the whole strip mall has all but failed. ( The only thing left is the DMV) (Looks like a pizza hut from the 70's, outside and Inside) But, to our surprise....... The Pizza was Fabulous!!! We loved it and will defiantly return!! Thank-You!

I LOVE Italian food and this was the only Italian resturant, that I was aware of, close to my boyfriends house near 434 and 17-92. It looked like one of those places that, despite a rugged appearance, may pleasantly surprise you. So, I decided to give it a try. Turns out, the book should have been judged by its cover. The place was nicer on the inside than the outside (as far as the decore), but the food sucked. What kind of Italian resturant doesnt serve Alfredo sauce? The mozzerella cheese on the pizza served for public school lunch tastes more authentic. Service was o.k. I gave it another shot and the second time was no better than the first. Ive tried the: cheese pizza, eggplant parm with spag, and chicken parm.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
