Caffe Chocolat is a breath of fresh air in all that is lacking in this area for some good, original, reliable food. My favorite part of the day here is their breakfast menu, which features a variety of delicious quiches. They also have other items for your breakfast needs such as breakfast burritos and pizza. The lunch items offered at Caffe Chocolat are also just as good, like the Buffalo Chicken Salad Wrap and some of their panini selections. The hot beverages are a great addition to the menu, and attached to the cafe is a quaint little gift shop where you can shop while you walk off your meal.

I ordered a Cappuchino and later a smoothie. While the drinks tasted good, it took them forever to make them. I had to go back inside for the smoothie after waiting for 10 minutes...

Cute chocolate shop with ice cream. Great for a cool treat on a hot day! Indoor and outdoor seating. We purchased chocolate and treats and sat outside. Everything in their gift shop is 50% and we found some nice trinkets very cheap! Space shuttle magnet .75!

Caffe Chocolat no longer exits. It was sold a couple of months ago and is now a pizza joint. I've been here twice. The first time, it was a rainy, dreary evening, but according to the posted hours, Pistilli's Pizza was supposed to be open. So glad I drove downtown in the rain for nothing--not even a note on the door. Last Friday evening, the second time I was here, was actually quite shocking. We were a party of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. Thank God my grandkids are awesome. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged for at least 20 minutes, not even a greeting. Finally a guy says they're clearing a table. They did, and the one next to it, and 2 booths across from it. We still stood there. I finally interrupted the girl cleaning the booths to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves, although the sign indicated we were to wait. Finally we were taken to the wet table and wet seat. Our server came relatively quickly to take our drink order, and then food order. It was quite obvious that she was very busy, because she barely spoke, just hurried., but she brought our drinks right away. This was nice because we sat there and waited, and waited, and waited some more. Every once is a while there would be a loud clatter from the kitchen jarring us alert, as though we needed that with 2 kids in tow. After we had been sitting there for about 45 minutes, or so, the nice couple beside us, who had been seated the entire time we were standing there waiting for a table, finally got up, threw a $5 bill on the table for their barely touched sodas, and left. About 15 minutes later, the server came out with their pizza, completely oblivious to the fact that they were long gone. After a little while longer, I caught the attention of a man who appeared to be managerial. I told him that we had ordered well over an hour ago, and he offered excuses for their poor service. Apparently, they had sold over 100 pies that day. They were being delivered to Bar IX and Playalinda Brewery. He said maybe the server should be trained to tell customers when it's going to take an hour or an hour and a half to get their pizzas so they expect the wait. Ya think? So here's my take away, Pistilli's is sacrificing their business to enhance that of their neighbors. Very altruistic. I don't know how long the folks across the street were having to wait for their pizzas, but if you're hungry, go to another establishment and phone in your order for delivery. At least you can enjoy a beer while you're waiting. So, after arriving at around 7:15 and being served at close to 9:30 ( I mind the children's bedtimes--usually, but was already a little late due to working all day), the pizza was okay when it came. I mean we were hungry, but by this time, too tired to really care. Oh, the man with the excuses, Mike, I think he said, did offer us a 10% discount and a free scoop of ice cream for the kids. Yeah, I don't know what kind of business plan they have, but I imagine there will be another vacant storefront in Titusville before you know it.

This place is just perfect. The staff is so friendly, even with how busy they stay. The food was delicious. I got to let the owner know how wonderful everything was. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. If you are in Titusville please stop by.. You won't regret it.

This review is based on their chocolate which was excellent!!! If you happen to stop by here (one of the only few stores that seems to have any kind of human activity going on) you have to try their chocolate covered caramel patty with a light sprinkling of sea salt on top; WOW, that will knock your socks off! I'm so glad that the gentleman helping me suggested it. It's priced by weight, I think it's $28 a pound. I know what you're thinking, but if you get a box of 4, I only ended up paying $3. It's worth it though, the chocolate has wonderful depth of flavor. While I was getting my chocolate I saw a couple of people eating sandwiches with what looked to be just regular wonder bread, I didn't really see anything outside of what you'd make out of your own kitchen. Try their chocolate though, it's worth the pit stop.

Caffe Chocolat is a cute little restaurant in downtown Titusville. I am giving it 3 stars based on the fact that the food isn't anything spectacular and the service leaves much to be desired. Let me explain.... Am I saying you shouldn't eat there? No. Am I saying the food isn't good? No. The food is good. But I've never left thinking it was awesome and I've never been excited to plan my next lunch there. It's decent food that you can get anywhere else or even make. No wow factor. I've never tried their specialty coffees. I have had their Chai Lattes a few times and they were just meh... They have a cute little chocolate/dessert case near the front that my kids get excited over. The excitement comes from the fact that they get to look at and pick out a piece of chocolate. It's definitely not chocolate to rave about. It doesn't suck....it just doesn't have that wow factor (again). I have never once had awesome service there. I've SEEN other people getting awesome service but I tend to always get the waitress that doesn't have much personality. Today, in fact, I had to send my daughter to track down napkins and she only brought us one fork. We would have asked for more of she could be found after dropping our food off at the table. She never returned. We had to ask another waitress for our check. And this is the norm for this particular waitress. She seems like she's.....too busy....for lack of a better word. While I was sitting and waiting (and waiting and waiting) I noticed two other waitresses paying lots of attention to their tables. Making sure they had everything they needed and checking on them often. Didn't get that once from ours. It wasn't even rush hour lunch time! We ate at 2:00! So yeah.....I'm sure we'll go back from time to time. Like I said, it doesn't suck. But it's just not that awesome either. There's a cute little place across the street called Kloiber's Cobbler that is much better. And while you're in the area, visit an awesome clothing boutique called City Glitter.

Brutal. Nearly empty restaurant and it took an hour to get our meal. Our food was cold and soggy. Ugh! And my husband did not get his salad. Cheap soup, cheap coffee masquerading as something better. Avoid.

This is some of the best handmade chocolates I've had. You can buy by the pound or individually. Amazing flavors. I got the mint malted milk balls and dark chocolate espresso beans

What?! This tiny and obviously old fashioned chocolaterie was stumbled upon in a shocking way as we got lost in a god-forsaken city - but, once we opened the door to this bright (and I mean, BRIGHT stop off US 1; it was dang worth getting lost to have the chocolate they make! I'm sick; but in a happy why did I eat more than I should've, it's so creamy delicious and salty sweat that I couldn't stop from buying all those amazing little pieces of different styles and flavored chocolates!! You have to try this place...too bad, or maybe thankfully to my "no sugar" allowed body; that it closed at 8:00 pm. Yum; the best I've had in a longggg time...home-made & wonderful! A little pricey for that extra loving touch on every piece we ate; but, well worth it! Yes, try it...it's worth a one time treat!

I find myself in Titusville from time to time for work, and I always come to this place for lunch. It is one of the only local AND good restaurants in town. I recommend the "Half of Everything" special, where you get half a sandwich, a small salad, a little bit of hummus with pita slices, and a piece of their dessert of the day. Very filling and always delicious. The cafe is very cute and eclectic with lots of gifts and desserts to purchase. If you're in Titusville, you must stop here for lunch!

Great little place. The owner made us feel right at home and served us great food quickly. Nice area to sit outside. Good lunch place.

I've been here numerous times over the years, for lunch, and have never left disappointed. It's been quite some time since I've been and this time left satisfied but a little dismayed at the same time. Food-wise, everything was fresh and delicious. I had their Gyro and Greek Salad. The salad was crisp and fresh, while the gyro was big, bigger than I expected. The wife and daughter had their egg and tuna salad, respectively, both of which were great. Their dessert chocolates are awesome and remain so. I had the White Chocolate Turtle, the daughter had the Almond Chocolate Bar, and the wife had their Raspberry Chocolate brownie - all of it good. What was disappointing was the service. Although the food was prepared and served relatively quick, everything in-between was slower than molasses. We had to wait to get drinks, we had to wait to get refills, and we had to really wait to order dessert. If it weren't for that I would recommend this place as a four-star. Hopefully, it was an off day for them...

Wanted to give this place four/five stars. Was hoping it would be. But, after over a twenty-minute wait for chocolates, and a disappointing two coffee drinks and a pound of chocolate, I just have to settle for the three stars. This place would attract tourists & locals, but can't imagine what would compete with it either. Most of the chocolate tasted alright, but nothing amazing or out of this world. The drinks; my caramel something tasted like straight-up coffee with a few caramel pumps. Hubby's mint tasted watered-down. Free parking, and a cute layout, with decent service (he was very apologetic), but two people for the entire area? Come on management - that's no way to keep customers satisfied.

I just needed someplace to get some serious coffee so I would not fall asleep on the road. This place did the trick.
(3)Maureen H.
The menu is not large and is lunch type foods, but what they do have is made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. And, of course, the chocolate choices for dessert are excellent. It's a pleasant environment with old booths and tables and informal, placing your order at the counter yourself. If you are looking for a nice alternative to all the fried seafood at other places this is the place to go.

Came here on a Tuesday morning right between breakfast and lunch. Decided on the lunch. We got to sit down right away and were waited on immediately. The food was fantastic. Similar to Panera (soup, salad, sandwich,) except cheaper and much better. The coffees are also very good and come in much larger glasses than most other places. Will definitely be coming back.
(4)Wendy H.
I'm a fan. They have good coffee, and awesome chocolate. But it is their salads and sandwiches that keep me coming back for more. In a very nice DOWNTOWN TITUSVILLE location ... it is reliable and the food is great. I recommend a salad, sandwich or quiche .. they have awesome soups ... don't forget the coffee, ice tea, and CHOCOLATE ... I'll visit again the next time I'm in town ...

My wife and I ate here for lunch on Friday afternoon. The place was full, but we were seated pretty quickly. My wife ordered a Southwestern wrap, and I ordered a Chipotle Chicken pannini. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but not a long enough time to upset the average customer. My pannini was really good. The large slabs of chicken were moist, the sauce was flavorful without being too spicy, and the red onions added a little more zip. The potato salad was creamy and sweet, great for me, but too sweet for my wife's taste. Overall, it's a nice place to eat, but as previous reviews brought up, the service is slow. In the server's defense, there aren't enough of them. They were constantly running to keep up with the flow of food. But as a result, they have no time to come back and see what you think of the food. It took a while to get our bill, and then about 10 minutes to actually get to pay for it. There was a constant line at the register the entire time we were eating, and, I waited in line 10 minutes to pay. We will go back, but we're retired, so the time issue wasn't as frustrating for us as it would be for most people. If you're in a hurry to get lunch and get out, don't go here. Otherwise, it's worth a visit.

Mediocre at best. Not bad but nothing too spectacular. Got the gyro and chicken salad sandwiches. Tried the turtle mocha and it was semi sweet but came in a venti size which was the only plus. Nice place on occasion, but not an everyday stop.

I can't wait to try their desserts and when I do I'll do a separate review but for now I'll just say that I loved their hot chocolate. It had a very rich tatse but it wasn't overly sweet. It was perfect for that evening because there was a slight chill in the air and it definitely hit the spot! I'll be venturing here again!

Honestly, one of the few restaurants in Titusville I take the time to go to when visiting. I was always very fond of their chipotle chicken panino and their hummus is pretty tasty as well. When I was younger and could deal with with insanely sweet coffee drinks, the mint coffee was a favorite. Their fudge, of course, is divine, and their little shop is pretty adorbs and great for buying little whosits and whatsits for your favorite Auntie. Allegedly their menu now contains legit dinner-type foods, but I've not seen an updated menu on their website, so I can't judge on that. All in all, it's one of the closes places in lil ole T-ville that reminds me of one of those cute Sarasota cafes that I loved so much and would even (dare I...) call it chic.
(4)Barbara A.
What can I say! It's a cozy little cafe in downtown Titusville. You will love their soups and sandwiches, and browse the candy and ice cream shop afterwards!
(4)Chase T.
Been going here for about 4 years or so. The quality of the food and service have definitely fell down the gutter. Been here about 3 times in the past year. Each time the food hasn't been great at all. Service isn't great and takes about 20 minutes just for a sandwich. Soup taste like it came out of a can. I guess it's probably your best bet in town for what is in Titusville. Just don't expect much!

I've been to Caffe Chocolat twice-- one in July of 2011 and once in November of 2012 (my husband and I were going to KSC for Shuttle Atlantis events). It's a cute place with a private parking lot and a nice overall atmosphere. It looks like an upscale cafe, but it's really more of a diner that also sports a nice selection of chocolates and coffee drinks. The dessert bars were what drew me in the first time, but my husband and I stayed for a full meal and we went away with fond memories of the quiche and the Milky Way Latte. So, we were happy to stop back in the second time we passed through Titusville. It's still a cute place and the service is friendly. I asked for a recommendation for a coffee drink that wasn't too sweet and the server recommended the mocha; $4.25 nets you a very large mocha topped with whipped cream that was indeed not overly sweet and quite nice. I had the Quiche Lorraine and my husband got a Southwest Chicken wrap with chipotle sauce instead of guacamole. The individually-sized quiche had a nice texture and was not too eggy-- a good but not great quiche. It was accompanied by a few slices of orange and some fresh grapes-- good, but again nothing amazing. The wrap, which came with Miss Vickie's potato chips, was tasty but also fell short of the "wow" factor. We weren't hungry enough for dessert this time. I'd honestly like to give 3.5 stars because the food isn't out-of-this world, but when you're soaked by a July thunderstorm or wiped out from a 7:30 AM flight from Detroit, Caffe Chocolate is a nice place to refresh. The next time we pass through Titusville I'll likely drop in again and see what's in the dessert case.

I just returned from a first time visit at this café. I had the most horrible chicken salad sandwich. It seemed like the chicken came from a can and they threw mayo in it, put it in a blender and pulverized the crap out of it. It was absolutely the worst I've ever had. My husband had one of their Panini sandwiches and whoever "grilled" this needs to learn how to make a Panini. Ask for instructions from the folks at Panera! Now, there's a Panini. My husband said there was nothing special about the sandwich. It was just a sandwich with what he felt, was everything out of a can or purchased from the deli at a local grocery store. The soup was lukewarm and the waitress let me know, they don't make their soups. It's shipped in from somewhere else. I will NOT go back as there was nothing special about this old café. We do need better restaurants in Titusville, FL. This definitely isn't one of them.
(1)David S.
The food here is absolutely delicious and of great quality, not to mention the plethora of cocoa-based desserts! I especially enjoy their coffee, and usually get the lunch special, being half a turkey sandwich, a bag of chips, and a pickle. My only complaint would be the asking price of their selection, which has gone up substantially in the past 4 years. But if you're looking for something different than the stop'n'go fast food chains that make up Titusville's main selection of restaurants, look no further than Caffé Chololat.

Best place for lunch and a latte in Titusville

Great place. Don't miss their hot chocolate, it's delicious.

My two year old grand niece and I made a two mile trek with her in a stroller or walking and me pushing or hand holding to get ice cream from the ice cream shop side of Caffe Chocolat. I had checked to make sure of the hours the ice cream shop was open. They listed their hours as opening at 12:30. We arrived at 1:45. We walked in to find the ice cream side of the restaurant empty of employees so after waiting for about 5 minutes and trying to get the attention of the staff we could see we walked over to restaurant side of the business where we waited for another 10 minutes and asked if we could get someone to serve us some ice cream. A very harried waitress asked her boss if she could go over to the ice cream area and serve us. Her boss said that they were too busy in the restaurant to take care of the ice cream area. She said we could wait until the restaurant cleared which would probably be about twenty minutes. I had a two year old who had been a good sport about the walk and wanted ice cream so we went over to the ice cream area to wait. While we were waiting I noticed an ice cream case that had dixie cups and got the two year old a dixie cup, found a plastic spoon and thankfully was able to deliver her some ice cream. Thirty minutes later a waitress showed up and was surprised to find us still waiting. She apologized for our wait, offered me a free beverage, but seriously, this place is understaffed and they know it. The manager is rude and doesn't seem to care. To top it off, the ice cream was obviously freezer burned, not that the two year old cared, but what a shame. This was our second visit to Caffe Chocolat and it will definitely be our last. there are far better places to eat in the Titusville area including Chef Larry's and Dixie Crossroads.

We ate here on Saturday and let me just tell you this is my new favorite restaurant! Their food is so good! My husband and I got the hummus and warm pita and we got the hot chicken pot pie! It was so AMAZING! The food was so good! I'm excited to go back and try a wrap and get some more hummus and pita! They have a large amount of assorted chocolates! And an ice cream place inside that is very Delish as well! I'm going to go back soon my mouth is watering as I'm typing this! I would say this place is like a panera bread but waaaayyy better and home cooked! They have soup in a bread bowl too! yum!
(5)Melissa B.
I do love this place, all meals are great, all coffees are great! Love the shop ... did attend a party there once for Girl Scouts and was a fondue party..was not impressed with the set up but that could have just been the low budget of the event. We were charged $15 and ran out food and was not replenished...so not to dwell on that..again probably due to the event planners for girl scouts and not Caffe Chocolat. I love the chocolate covered coffee beans!
