One of my favorite places in all of Broward. Huge portions of excellently prepared food for a good price and one of the best (if not the best) salsa bars... love it!

The bad service outshines the food which is just ok anyways. 30 minute wait for my order of lomo saltado and when I tried to ask for my money back she argued that people always get mad cause they pay attention to the chicken orders coming out because it's ready. That would make sense if I little pieces of steak take longer to sauté than raw grilled chicken breasts but THEY DONT. I had number 334. I didn't get my order to after 349! And on top of that the girl at the register was rude, joking around with the other employees and drinking soda near the orders being put together. One of the other girls almost out her open soda in a Togo bag. Wow. Get it together La Granja. I won't be back. I hate you.

The food and service was terrible. Food was cold, meat flavorless, customer service zero.

This place has been shut down a couple times during the past few months for several violations.... Enough said! Check out dirty dining reports on local 10 news. I won't be eating at any La Granja location anymore.

Worst service this girls got the worst attitude and be careful you can find a roach in ur food! Disgusting

Very tasty chicken, ribs okay, economical, large portions. Chupe/seafood soup was an unexpected tasty treat, hearty huge portion. The leaking roof with bucket in middle of the floor was a bit unsettling and condiment and salsa stations looked rickety. Had to clean own table before dining in.

My boyfriend would always talk about this place and now i know why. It can be scary walking in its not that clean but the food its great! The plantains are amazing their just right!

My boyfriend and I decided to give them an opportunity since he has been to other locations and the food and service have always been good. Our experience, not so great. We got there and when placing the order on a Sunday afternoon the ran out of ribs. That was kind of a bummer. Then when we finally got through the ordering process and headache, the food took about 10-12 minutes, (not so bad). We decided to check the order since it was take out and we noticed 2 people in front of us were coming back because their orders were wrong. Best thing we did! our order was in fact wrong. When we told the person at the counter she said no, it is right, just check again. I checked again and well, it was wrong. They took it back to the kitchen and changed the side items. Overall, the food was not bad. The chicken breast was not juicy but the flavor was good. The fries were not crunchy at all, and well this was even when I checked the box on site so it was definitely not the trip, they seemed like steamed french frie-like potatoes, definitely not fried. We will probably not go back here unless there is a major crisis and everything else in town is closed and the supermarket runs out of food.

Delicious!! Just got half a chicken with rice and beans. I asked for all dark meat. The two chicken thighs were cooked to perfection with lots of flavor. I like the condiments here ..... I have eaten here about ten times

Fresh ingredients, great flavor and good size portions. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service has always been good. The chicken dishes are consistently good and I love the garlic fish!

This is a basic rotisserie chicken, black beans and rice place. You can't go wrong with their soups or basic dishes. It's not out of this world, but it really hits the spot when you want some "latino" flavors.

Fake Peruvian Restaurant it shouldn't be call Peruvian cause it give Peruvian food a bad name... basuraaaaaa!!!

Food was cold, bread on my sandwich was burnt. I sent it back and the lady was rude and rolled her eyes. When the kitchen brought it back she didn't even bring it over to me or signal me, she waited until I looked to go get it myself. Horrible service and my boyfriend's entire meal was cold as well.

Good service and great food. Sometimes it can be hit or miss but this place is usually right on point. Never had a bad experience here. I have been coming here for about 6 years. The new remodel really opens the place up which is quite nice. Go and have a seat with them or order take out. My meal is the boneless chicken breast with red onions on top, white rice and the black beans and plantains.

I loved this place when I lived down here, so of course on holiday and visiting had to stop in. Good food coming in large portions for an extremely economical price. Lomo saltado or ceviche are my regular goto meals here

The beef noddles were very good.

All this place is missing, is a DRIVE-THRU! I love it! Fast food Peruvian style. Nothing fancy, order at the counter, grab a table and pick up your food when your number has been called. They have great lunch specials, and this place is always buzzin'. Huge portions, easy on your pockets!

I prefer pollo tropical La Granja uses way too much salt in their food and i cant stomach it.

I love La Granja for those night when you don't feel like cooking and just feel like ordering a tasty big family meal! I've had almost everything on their menu. You can never go wrong with their chicken. The green onion sauce compliments it so well. My favorite dishes are their ceviche and seafood paella platter. They're really starting to expand all over South Florida. I've been to 5 different locations and their flavors and hospitality never change!

bomb ass chicken!

This informal bistro is delightful! I had garlic fish, which was a lovely piece of grouper cooked in a creamy garlic sauce that completely knocked my socks off. The plaintains were less of a success - a little too hard and I had to ask for the crema. My companion's steak was a mis-take. Their cooking method is to pound it thin, then grill it till its way overdone. Suggest you stick with the grilled chicken - that is juicy and delicious. And of course, try the garlic fish.

Good food. Reasonable prices. Nice condiment bar. Has to be the fast food deal of the area. I take that back. The food is not fast food tasting, quality or type. But the food does come out fast.

Yeah... It's THAT good... I got nothin' to add, see the reviews below!

They have a lot of locations around Broward county new ones opening all the time. Nothing fancy here just good food and a lot of it. The chicken or steak is great very, good seafood and the price is right.

Awesome success story for an immigrant working class restaurant serving good food at value prices and now becoming a regional chain. The real deal for grilled chicken and more complex fish dishes served in a simple format.

We were visiting family in Sunrise, FL and we ate here twice, and once at another La Granj down there. They were both awesome. I got the fish plate both times, the tilapia is great, seasoned well and breaded, the fried plantains are so tasty. A scoop of beans ladled over some white rice rounds out the meal (and your mid-section too) The other great thing is the salsa bar: they have like 3 or 4 great fresh salsas to choose from, one is white a little garlicky another is red and spicy. You can load up on the salsas because it is self serve. We took like 3-4 portion cups of each. I was told this food is considered to be Peruvian. There are definite similiarities to Haitian food. It is almost like a mixture of Latin and Caribbean. These salsa are like nothing Ive tasted in Mexican or Spanish restaurants, They have a sort of tanginess that really compliments the fish. I dont think I tried the chicken but my family saidit was great. . This Illinois boy is jonesing for some La Granja right now. Too bad the nearest one is like 1,000 miles away.

My friend and I tried this place out based on Yelp reviews. We were in the area starving (we skipped breakfast in order to make it to an early morning appt.) and so this place sounded great it was less than 5 mins from where we were at. It's a nice place, clean and decent. Nothing fancy, most meals start at about $8 dollars and up. I got the fried fish meal which came with delicious white rice, black beans, fried plantains, and a soda for about $10 something. Everything was soo tasty! I loved it all but the fried plantains made my day! I don't know if they always taste that sweet and yummy or I got a lucky batch! They have a salsa bar that has some very tasty salsa nice and fresh to add to your meal and you can get as much as you want. I got the really spicy one and my friend got the medium spicy. Oh yeah she got a beef steak with white rice, black beans and fried plantains for about $10 too. It was very good as our plates were almost shined! Good food to try if your craving Latin American and in the area.
