I still can't believe just how good this place is and how little we paid. It is tucked back into a little, nondescript plaza that I have never noticed before. This feels like one of those amazing secret places that you want to take all your friends to so they can discover it too. The food was delicious and high quality. It reminded me of Five Guys food, but a more relaxed, comfortable environment and with less of a "fast food feel". I prob will never go to Five Guys again now that I have discovered this place. The kitchen looks clean and well organized and I watched a worker grinding the meat and making the burgers with care. Burgers and fries were both exceptional and I heard another customer exclaiming that the fish was the best they'd ever had.

Not the best burger and fries of your life, but a good, different experience. Very old-school. Thin burger patties. The fried chicken sandwich I thought was better than the burger.

Meh, it was ok. The burgers are super skinny, i was expecting something different i supposed. The staff were super friendly and service was excellent. The prices were very low compared to other burger places in the area but the burger wasn't very big compared to those other places. I had a chocolate milk shake to go with my burger which was very tasty but definitely not hand made.

Wanted take out and found this hidden gem thanks to Yelp. The gentleman who took the call was funny and engaging. There is a step by step process when ordering. I ordered a burger, two fries and a soda. The inside of the restaurant was similar to a diner. They had 50's music playing and chrome tables. The fries are fresh cut and I was told the deluxe burger was better than Five Guys. Overall the food was similar to Five Guys but I gave it a five stars because it's locally owned and the service was great!

Tucked back into a nondescript strip mall off an unassuming side road is one of the best burger joints in the bay area. Daly's features fantastic flame broiled and hand pressed burgers served at amazingly low prices. The burgers come with Daly's sauce on them, a mix of mayo and pickle juice that is delish. I don't even like pickles and it just enhances the taste. Old time 50s music plays through the retro dining room where you can enjoy your food with one of their hand spun custom shakes. I tried the peanut butter cup and it's one of the most decadent and delicious things I've ever had. All in all this place is my new go to for great burgers.

Nice friendly service. My husband ordered a single burger, which was a good price, but the meat seemed thin for the bun size. Probably would be better to order a double. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish had a panko-type breading which was really nice and crisp. We had more than enough fries with the order of fish. I agree with a previous post. Once this place gets cooking, their fan or air handling system is inadequate. However, the interior is attractive and pleasant (casual setting). We only received one napkin per person. Would like to have a napkin dispenser somewhere. Will return.

Good burger, good grilled cheese, good hotdog. I'm personally not a fan of hand cut fries. I like mine hot from McyDs. I know. I know. Poor choice...

I've been driving by this place for a year and finally decided to try it. I got the daily special blue cheese bacon double burger. It was surprisingly good, the bacon was crispy and the blue cheese was melted perfectly. The fries were even better, similar to five guys but less greasy. I went back the next day because it gave me a craving, and the basic double cheeseburger still made me happy. I'm stoked I found a sweet little place to grab a burger when I'm in the mood.

Solid fresh affordable burgers and fries. Local 5 guys style joint. Very clean inside. They also had good milkshakes.

My friends and I wanted to try a new burger joint and some how we ended up finding this gem in this neighborhood. Let's start off with the food. We all ordered the triple burger which came with fries for only $6 + tax. That was one hell of a deal. The burgers were made fresh right in front of you. The meat was cooked just right, not overcooked and not dry. The Daly sauce really added to the burger and it was delicious. Now customer service. These guys are super nice. They checked on us and brought us our food. They seem like really down-to-earth people especially since they were joking around with us. They seem to really care about their business because they would come by to ask how the burgers were and asked us for feedback. Definitely highly recommended and definitely will come back. 5 stars.

This place is soooooo good. The old school cafe feel is just perfect. Their burgers are so delicious, hand crafted beauties. Fries are nothing to be hated on. Perfectly cooked to order. Quick service with awesome staff. Every time I'm near this place, I stop in. I can't say enough if you haven't been here and you love burgers and fries, definitely stop in. Personally haven't had a shake from here yet but I would guess they are delicious from how this place has satisfied my hunger ever time I'm there. Love this place
(5)Chris S.
I had the fish and chips and it was great. Fish was moist inside and crunchy on the outside. The fries are similar to Five Guys, very good. Place is small but there was steady flow of customers. Wife had a burger and loved it. Big savings over other gourmet burger places. Compares to Five Guys in a lot of ways but they have Fish and Chips. Meal is about $6-7 with a drink and fries.
(5)Ashley F.
Everything was great! Fries were fresh cut and the husband had the western burger and LOVED IT!!!! I had the fish and chips. We will be coming here more often!

I have been here many times and I enjoy what I've ordered. I live in the area. I am not related to nor am I friends of the owner. A previous reviewer claimed you should not trust the reviews about this establishment, and that you can't trust the restaurant. That has not been my experience nor that of my friends. I came here the first time because a friend recommended it to me. I was told to try the fish. Daly's has a fun and funky vibe. The dining room is unusual in that it is decorated in a style that I'd call 1950's 'futuristic!' The walls are spare and painted to look like the formica tops on the booths. There are boomerang thingies on both. There are also some high top tables / bar stool seating. The 50's music sounds like a satellite radio station. The service is quite attentive and friendly. One comes in and places the order at the counter - cash register. You pay first. The food is freshly cooked and delivered to you quick as you can say, Jack-and-the-Beanstalk! I have high KUDOS for the fish sandwich. Crispy, hot, wrapped in checkerboard paper with a special sauce with a little lettuce and tomato. But the fish is the star of the show. I get to craving Daly's fish sandwich and I often end up here. Try the hand-cut fries, too. If you like them extra crispy, just say so: The attention to detail by the staff is an A+. I assert this: If you have a problem with a restaurant, you should at least give them a chance to put it right. As far as the reviewer who attests that he was overcharged, we are human and mistakes can be made. It's unfortunate that he did not inquire if he found a billing mistake. This place is trustworthy and the staff is too. Had that reviewer of February 1st 2014 brought that concern to Daly's, the staff would have been able to explain or they would have righted any overcharge. If the food was found wanting for that individual, this place would have bent over backwards to make that right, too. Daly's is +++ good...service and food = consistent winners. I like that the fountain drinks include Coke Zero. I like that I can phone ahead if I want my food to be ready when I arrive. I like so much about Daly's, and I think you will too! TRY THE FISH!
(4)Kate B.
Cute old-fashioned diner - great food, friendly staff! I had a grilled chicken sandwich with yummy fries, and my partner had the "famous" Daly burger - she reported that it was fantastic! Quick, reasonably priced, and tasty! We'll go back!
(4)Paul H.
This place overcharged us and never made it right. If your looking for the most disgusting food, worst service This is the place. I'd do your own addition prior to paying or You might just get screwed over like we did.
(1)Nate C.
I expected a hole in the wall with pretty great food, and that's what I got. The burger - the Daly's Double is fantastic and under $4. Fresh ingredients and delicious sauce. The fries were great too (Five Guys-esque), freshly made and yummy with malt vinegar or ketchup. The chili for the fries was average, but that's par for the course when getting chili cheese fries anywhere outside a chili parlor. I finished it all with a hot fudge shake which was good as well. All told, everything was solid and reasonably priced. The Daly's Double is borderline spectacular despite its simplicity - picture Five Guys with fewer toppings and far less greasy. I'll definitely eat at Daly's again when I find myself back in the area.

I stopped by for lunch at this Fine Little Restaurant off the beaten path . Another Jewel with Great Food , Cool Decor and very friendly employees . I was impressed with how clean and fresh the walls and tables looked , and even more impressed with the food . I ordered the fish and chips and they were perfect , next time I'll go for the burgers . Glad to find a Mom and Pop business that really cares about their customers . Keep doing what you're doing .

I have been driving by this place for years, found it on here. Well, its a small place with older music, clean and comfortable. The burgers were excellent, we also had fries which also delicious. The fries were perfectly salted and it reminded of a great place now closed call Big Freds. I thought it was a fantastic burger and fries for the price. I will be back, i thought the burger tasted better than 5 guys.
(5)Nina M.
Came here on a Friday for an early dinner. My fiancé got the food as take out, so I haven't yet experienced the atmosphere or customer service first hand. He got a double cheeseburger and I opted for the fish and chips. The portions were sized well; not huge, but not small. The fish was cooked to perfection. The fries were a little on the softer side (I like crispier fries usually), but were still very tasty. You can't beat $14 for two meals. We will definitely be back!
(4)Ian B.
Daly's is a good place for a nice cheap burger or even some fish and chips. We got a daly double ~$4 a side of fries ~$2 and an order of fish and chips ~$6. So value wise this is a great spot. The fish and chips was great served with their own house made tarter sauce which was also very good. Definitely one of the better fish and chips I've had in the area. The burger was also good. Made right after ordering it came fairly quick. The burger wasn't dry or overcooked a nice well done. The daly sauce was a nice addition to the burger. And for $4 can't beat it.
(4)Christal D.
Daly's is nothing fancy, but just a good burger and great fries. And the prices are crazy low. I've not had anything else on the menu, although my bf has had a few different items and said all were good. We come here all the time, it's just perfect.
(5)Lynette M.
Very disappointed after reading the reviews. The place is clean but I didn't expect a McDonald's type burger.all cook ed the same and paper thin.
(1)Sharon L.
This place is a small joint with a simple menu and friendly staff. They have reasonably priced burgers with delicious fresh cut fries. The service was quick. The food was not greasy.
(5)Terry B.
good food I think condiments & napkins would be nice on the tables
(2)Adam F.
Great little burger place. Well priced and the char-grilled taste of the parties is hard to beat. If I lived closer I'd be a new regular.
(5)Keith S.
My favorite burger in the county and their fries are the best too, fresh and tasty not too greasy.
(5)SallyCinnamon C.
Great little retro style burger joint. Our burgers were tasty and the service was great. Loved the classic '50s music too!
(5)Kimberly H.
We were over this way picking up a new puppy, arrived arrived a little early so we decided to grab a quick bite. Found this place, You Guys, the prices are amazing, nothing fancy on the menu but it packed a 5 star punch on flavor! We ordered the fish and chips (homemade tartar) and the house burger with the fresh hand cut fries, love any excuse to use balsamic vinegar. We live in plant city and sure wish we had this place nearby! You can easily afford a big family outting here!!! Bring your youth group here!!!

A crazed desire for Burgers and good Yelp reviews led me here... A LITTLE HIDDEN FROM BUSY STREET Located in a tiny plaza away from Seminole Blvd, it doesn't look like much from the outside. Former Pizza takeout place? The décor is rather minimal with attempts at creating a diner atmosphere. If anything it's the table appearance and layout that doesn't make me want to dine in. Ah well--this is a great Burger takeout place. DOUBLE PATTY IT UP Sure it cost more, but I totally recommend getting double Patties for any Burger because a single can easily disappear beneath all the toppings and also because it has a soft, meaty flavor. That happened to my Western special topped with Onion Rings, BBQ sauce and Lettuce Tomato. Meanwhile the regular Double, although plainer in toppings, burst with more flavor. The Patties are thin but juicy. The Fries are also light and crispy. Great accompaniment. SUPPORT THE SERVICE The kitchen isn't really kicking but the service provided is really nice. These guys care about their little place. Even when we were the only ones dining in, we were approached several times by workers asking about the food. The price is comparable to Five Guys--so SUPPORT local, good business!

Why 4 stars? Because you get it all here. --- --- --- Solid burgers that don't make you feel pregnant afterward. Old-school feel. Super-friendly employees. A local business in an area of town where chains reign supreme. I'd had Daly's bookmarked for over a year and just never had a chance to visit. When I showed up, I realized that it was not the same place that I assumed. I think I was picturing Biff Burger, after driving past that place a few times. But nonetheless, I enjoyed my visit to Daly's and would recommend it!
(4)Matt K.
Cool place. Has a 50's-60's feel and everything is cooked to order. Good food and better yet, good people! Get the Blackened Bleu Cheese Burger if you can!
(5)Ryan M.
Pleasantly surprised. We thought the food quality and taste was on par with 5 Guys of which we are a fan. The price was a lot less however - about $16-17 for 2 doubles, 2 fries and 2 drinks. I think they could size up the large fries however. One thing they need to work on is their ventilation system. The hood is not powerful enough for all the grilling they are doing. I probably wouldn't dine in there if I was headed out afterwards. As it was we were headed home and the dogs were quite jealous smelling our clothes. The other funny thing is their PA system is really loud when they call the orders to the kitchen which is only 3 feet away (it's a small place) but somehow it adds to the charm of the place - don't change it. The associates are very friendly and engaged which is always refreshing to see.

Daily's? Dallie's?! What is it? This is Daly's flame* broiled burgers is what it is! And yes it is pronounced as Daily. Okay so what about this little shop run by a small group of employees? What do they have? Are they too expensive? But what about the wait? If you are anything like me then these are questions that are popularly asked when selecting a place to dine. This little shop run by a few cheerful and simply ecstatic men is a complete gem, I have lived local for most of my life and I have never heard of this little dive if you will. Daly's specializes in burgers and shakes; yes this seems like a straightforward concept and simple, actually it is; it truly is a simple thing. With that said the way they prepare EVERYTHING fresh to order is anything but simple! From the burgers to the fish and chips(which was absolutely delicious) all these delicious options were more than anything expected and such a pleasant treat that this will certainly be an experience to remember! Now about the prices. With nothing on the menu exceeding $7 and you can get a delicious, meaty single for roughly $2 you absolutely cannot go wrong. The last thing that needs to addressed is the wait time. I figured the group of semi-elderly men would show their age in the kitchen, but that was certainly not the case and I swear I saw smoke coming off the chefs shoes (possibly from the flame broiling lol!) but I promise you that the speed and consistency of this small hole in the wall is next-to-none and all with a smile; the chef even came out to make sure he did the best job possible! All in all this was by far a pleasant experience and I will most definitely be back for more and hopefully this can be a normal part of my dining selection! I suggest this to any of my friends, family, and hell I would even tell my co-workers about this destination. Yes you need to try Daly's and yes you need to try a daily double! Enjoy.

We never knew that this little gem was tucked behind our local liquor store! It's incredibly affordable, with the double Daly burger with all the fixin's ringing in at under $5 Daly's burgers are certainly a hidden treasure. We took the advice we read on here and got the double. Burgers are thin but flavorful, filling but don't leave you too full. Daly's Sauce is a tasty creation- mayo mixed with different relishes. It complements the burger well. We split the peanut butter cup shake and it was the perfect amount to have without feeling stuffed. It was a decadent, tasty treat! Atmosphere is a little strange. There were other customers in the tiny restaurant, but everyone was very quiet. I think it would be a better take-out spot in the future.
(4)Tyla M.
I like that the burger don't drip fat! Fries were good - not as crunchy as I'd like and they're kinda medium size cut. You can't go wrong with a double burger for about $5, me thinks yes.
(4)Jaqi J.
The fries were yummy and homemade. The burgers were very tasty and a great alternative to eating at fast food chains. Prices are good, but the ones on the photo here on yelp must be old because it wasn't that inexpensive. My peanut butter milkshake was yummy!I never would have found this place if I did not see it on Yelp , I would definitely come back.

Quick Summary: A nice 50's style diner burger place, complete with oldies music playing and boomerang decor (you'll udnerstand when you see it). The burger is made very nicely and deliciously; top off your meal with some malt vinegar fries! In my ongoing quest for the perfect burger, I found myself craving something a bit simpler. I'm come to realize that not all burgers are made equal, you've got your fast food burger, your 'diner' burger, and your gourmet burger. I don't need to explain the first, but your diner burger vs. your gourmet burger can be a blurred line. Generally though, a gourmet burger goes the extra mile with creativity and unique combinations. Daly's falls into the 'diner' burger category, it's simple, made with all the usual fixin's (lettuce, tomato, onions), but what it lacks in creativity it makes up in quality! The patty is expertly prepared, with a good char on the outside. The buns are another highlight, with a crispy toast on the meat side and soft on the outside. I especially liked the fries, they've got that dark deep fried coloured to them which goes great with the malt vinegar that offer. I saw some shakes on the menu which would complete this diner meal, but at my age the calories don't shed as easily. Overall though this was a good burger meal, and much better than the McD across the street. With the fries... I'd say this would be on par or better than an In-N-Out double-double (blasphamey coming from a west coaster!)
(4)Jerry H.
Close, but no cigar. I finally checked out Daly's after driving by and wondering about it the last couple of years. The reviews here are great, but my expectations were not quite met. While the service was friendly and the atmosphere fun, the food was a mixed bag. My chili dog with mustard, cheese and onions was very good, although the bun seemed slightly stale, albeit toasted. The hamburger suffered from a bad bun to beef ratio (I guess that is why the waitress suggested the double). The fries were a huge disappointment. CHANGE YOUR GREASE. The hand cut concept is nice and they came out hot, but they were dark brown due to old grease, which ruins what could have been a great side to the rest of the meal. Prices are very reasonable. I'll give them another shot some other time.

If you are looking for Under cooked, Inconsistent Fish Sandwiches, then this is the Place for you! We even placed our Carry out order 15 minutes before we got there! They Forgot! So then they tried to speed cook it? and gave me a under cooked soggy Fish Sandwich!
