I said to my husband, "I could really drink a smoothie" and BAM! SunniBunni appeared out of no where. I had some kind of green smoothie - it was really delish - and learned all about the yogurt they use with "special, happy" lactobacillus versus their competitor's. Their berries, kale and spinach looked like they were just picked (actually, the owner's wife personally picks her produce to put in the smoothies). Informative, delicious and just what I needed. A bit on the high side price-wise, but nothing this good and nutritious comes cheap.

My favorite dessert or healthy treat option in Sarasota. I've always had great service and I love the variety that exists here. My favorite is the PB&J smoothie or the Salted Caramel frozen yogurt. The original bunny with chocolate chips is simple but always great as well.

If you're looking for a great place to cool off after the beach or a way to satisfy your sweet tooth, Sunni Bunni is the best place around. With two permanent flavors (the tart "OriginalBunni" and the sweet "MegaBunni") and a rotating cast of delicious seasonal flavors, you can't go wrong with a smoothie or a regular cup. My go to is the DirtiBunni smoothie, a chocolate lover's dream. Owned by a sweet couple, they strive to give you the best service possible and I've never had more than a 10 minute wait. Overall, one my favorites when I'm home!

I loved the flavors that they offered! I ordered the birthday cake and pomegranate/raspberry flavors, which were delicious. Although they give you only four flavors to choose from, I felt like the quality and flavor was much better than those flavors I have tried at yogurtology or menchies. I gave four stars instead of five because although the froyo is organic, most of the toppings are not organic (m&m, heath bar, etc.). It's a must try at least once. I will e trying the smoothies next

As far as I can tell, Sunni Bunni in Sarasota is the only frozen yogurt shop that serves actual frozen yogurt. Down the street at Yogurtology they use a mix in a bag and they use a ton of sugar. Until Sunni Bunni came to town the only place I could get really good frozen yogurt was in California, specifically southern California. Then one day Sunni Bunni arrives and lo and behold, one of the owners is from southern California. Go to Sunni Bunni and get yourself a cup of the best, and real frozen yogurt. It's spectacular.

Yogurt is good but this locations charge (i think $1.00)after the fourth topping and most of the time the service is not very friendly. I have been to many popular frozen yogurt chains in the US, from Pink berry, to Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and Yogen Fruz( a canadian brand located in Miami, which is my favorite). I know my fro yo and have never experience that. I totally recommend the location on Siesta Key, the long hair brunette girl who has been there since the location has opened is a doll and she she lets me have all the toppings I want.

TASTE I can't speak for the fro-yo (WARNING: this establishment isn't "serve-yourself," rather they put the toppings on for you) but the smoothies are excellent! Both items use the same yogurt. There is a HUGE emphasis on freshness, health, and use of natural products as displayed by all the wall posters saying so. Further evidence; I saw one worker slicing strawberries BY HAND to the side. This freshness clearly dripped into the thickness, creaminess, and delicious flavor of the smoothie. No ice at all? Whaaaa? Niiiiiice. INTERIOR As a destination store, I wish there was more room inside to hangout. Although the décor is very welcoming, modern, and clean... places like this will survive if friends can hangout inside and out. Right now, I felt like grabbing and getting out of there! SERVICE The girls behind the counter are definitions of good service--maybe too much! Upon entering, I was attacked with claims of freshness and why they were different from other stores. While my partner and I whispered on what items to buy, one girl perked up and told us why our choices were great--how did she hear us??? But I can't complain. The service has been great, and they're ready to help you out and hand you samples.

I don't like the extra charges either otherwise ok. I don't recall any other places do that .

They just added mochi ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mo… ) and chopped canned lychee to their menu of toppings. I also just tried their Green Tea flavor and it is amazing. I love how strong the matcha flavor is, and it tastes great with the mochi.

My husband and I stopped here on 7/30/2011 for a smoothie that would fill us up. We had a large breakfast and weren't hungry enough for lunch. We had also just spent the morning sweating it out at Historic Spanish Point, so we wanted something to cool us off. This little place is awesome and fit our requirements perfectly. Both filled us up and held us over until dinner and both were blended perfectly. The man who greeted us when we walked in was one of the most friendly and happy people I have ever seen in a place like this. He gave us samples of the 4 main yogurt flavors he had. All were amazing and super healthy, which is what this place is geared for. I had a DirtiBunni, which is a chocolate lovers DREAM. My husband had the IslandBunni, which is very refreshing and delicious. I only wish we had one of these places in Orlando - I would go all the time!

I love love love love Sunni Bunni! I have been to a few frozen yogert places here in town and sunni bunni is my favorite. The staff is always really nice and the yogurt is so darn yummy.

My new favorite fro yo! I've had the original sunni bunni and it is so tangy and delicious! Many other types I've tried in the past had a very light and empty taste to it. This actually tastes like yogurt! Soooooo yummy. I'm an official bunni fangirl. lol.

The staff was extremely helpful and super friendly. Explained in detail what flavors they carried, and allowed my boyfriend and I to sample each flavor. I had the cranberry flavor, and it was to die for.

they have two flavors original tart and the green tea froyo.. i order my typical combo .. depending on the fresh fruits i saw.. i had the original tart froyo with fresh strawberries, blueberreis, and mochi.. i asked him to give me mochi with it and i second thought myself...since i saw him giving me a funny smile... asking him..is that what you call it?..what do you call it?.. he's like yeah .."mochi..i grew up in cali, so I've been around these stuff all my life..people around here don't really know about it" .. i think at the store itself.. they call it bunnibits.. it's just a japanese rice paste .. it gives a nice texture when u eat it with the yogurt. it's like boba.. .kinda flavorless...but so fun to chew.. if you've had a mochi ice cream at a japanese restaurant.. it's basically just the outside part..minus the ice cream inside.. so yeah i really recommend this place.. the yogurt is the right consistency.. and they have a lot of toppings.. plus the pricing is not bad at all.. and he packs on the toppings good enough.. i'm surprise the whole yogurt thing hasn't hit tampa full on yet.. it's beyond booming in cali..and it's starting to pick up in orlando.. tampa has a few .. but i'm surprise it hasn't gone crazy.. in my opinion it's like the best nonfat & low calorie dessert (depending on the toppings of course).. and i hope your not thinking about TCBY/Golden spoon when you hear yogurt.. cause this is NOT that kind of yogurt.. really i do recommend sampling it at least..
