I love this place so much! Owned by the friendliest people who greet you by name. Everything is DELICIOUS! I wish they were open all the time. I usually get the club sandwich with cucumber and onion because it is pretty much the most delicious sandwich I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarasota. It is definitely a well kept secret.

One of the best salads i've even had, Blue cheese walnut salad. I will continue to return again and again for this wonderful meal. The only problem with Maximillian's...it could use a good cleaning!

A small place on 10th Street between 301 and Orange Avenue. It is a walk in order and sit down type place but the food is really excellent especially the chicken sandwich. I always get the chef salad which is enormous. It's worth a quick stop if you only have a half hour for lunch.

This place is a hidden gem! Reggie and his team are awesome! They make the best sandwiches and salads in town. They cut the deli meats fresh as they prepare food. It can be busy during lunch so I'd definitely try to beat the rush! Chicken pomodori sandwich is great!

This place is a diamond in the rough. Family owned and operated, they will call you by name if you've been there more than a couple of times. Absolutely the BEST sandwiches and salads in this area, bar none. Every order is prepared with love and it is obvious. They are very busy for the lunch hours, so get there early. Also, if you need delivery, make sure that you order well in advance.

Maximillians is a great deli-lunch place (Boars head products). They have unique and tasty specials and the best soups in town! If you are looking for a fancy sit-down restaurant, this is not the place for you. There is an indoor dining room where you can enjoy cheap, tasty lunch food - sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. They also have awesome daily specials, including a salmon curry on Wednesdays that is amazing and usually sells out by the time a try to get it. A definite for downtown lunch dining!

First visit after doing a Yelp search in the area. Based on the favorable reviews, we decided to check it out. My wife had a "pressed " veggie and I had maple chicken with Brie and thin apple slices. DELICIOUS! Tasty and fresh!

Don't let the location or the outside appearance fool you. Maximillian's is by far my favorite place to go for lunch in all of Sarasota / Bradenton. In fact, a coworker and I drive 30 minutes all the way from Lakewood Ranch to go here, because the food is that good! Everything on the menu is delicious, you really can't go wrong with anything as all of the ingredients are fresh while being of high quality. I usually order their Apple Walnut Salad and it is by far the most delicious salad I've ever had. Reggie and his team set a new standard of quality for me, which nobody else has been able to reach at this price point. Another awesome thing worth noting is the customer service. Everyone is always so happy, polite, and super friendly there. If you go a couple times they will even remember your name and favorite menu items. Customer service that awesome is super rare these days. I recommend Maximillian's to everyone I know and I will definitely be a lifetime customer!

The people who run this are just THE BEST. I'm a vegetarian, and never have I ever encountered a restaurant so eager to modify dishes/suggest meat alternatives/ etc. (without acting like I'm a snob for not eating meat!). Their sandwiches are perfect-- bread is always toasted just right.

This place is sort of hidden, but its definitely worth the search. I always get the Chicken Walnut Salad. Its really fresh and the portions are huge! Its a must go! They deliver too.

Great reviews, really? The service was very polite, very friendly and they seem like nice people. I saw that everyone was busy working. However, the food was average at best, nothing you could not make at home. I could not help but notice the general lack of cleanliness. When asked if dine in or take out, I opted for dine in, then after peaking into the dining area I optioned for take-out. The tables were clean as well as chairs. It was everything else, the floors, the walls, the ceilings, the A/C vents and so on. It makes you really wonder how sanitary the place is. Anyways, you don't see that stuff if you take out or opt for delivery.
