The wings here are pretty good, but the garlic parm broccoli is really good! They have quite the array of sauces to pick from, ranging from super sweet to really hot. I have tried several flavors and all have been really good, but wish they would put more sauce on the wings. Service has always been good here and they are never too busy.

I have been going there . For weeks now the food is great.. ( in great portions) my waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu. She tooks the time to interact with us and alsi give us a great friendly experience. My husbands beer is never completely empty. She takes the time to keep coming back even when the place is really busy to refill of drinks. The owbers are very polite and come by and shiw them selves on thw dinning room floor getting feedback from patrons. This place is kid friendly with a great atmosphre.. for any man order the wings or fish and chips and lafies their honey pecan salad is to die for.

I don't usually take the time to write negative reviews, but this place was so bad I felt it's my civic duty to warn anyone thinking about eating here. I gave this place 2 stars only because my 1st experience was enjoyable. 2nd experience was horrendous, scale of 1 to 10, 0 bad. Service, food, everything was slow, cold, and just plain awful bad. The place was empty, and the service was so slow that my gut was telling me to walk, walk now. The rest of my party decided to ride it out, and paid the price. Everything came to the table painstakingly slow, and with close to 0 attention or effort. 3 dinners, all of them terrible. I didn't even eat mine and sent it back and taken off the bill. It was obvious that it had been sitting under a warmer for 20 minutes. I doubt I will be going back, and suggest anyone to find some where else to eat.

If you've ever been to Pinchers Crab Shack and was disappointed by the food, the smell and the service then you'll love Hurricane. Same vibe.......Jimmy Buffet, seafood, sports bar type joint. I know. I know. It's in the mall. Actually, it's outside of the mall but who cares? Look. The food is pretty good....I had the fish tacos. The service matches and they have plenty of TVs. So if you're ever stuck at the Sarasota Square mall while your teenager is shopping with her friends pop in to watch the game, have a brew-ski, and some wings and a beer and chill until you are expected to pick you kid and her friends up! Yelp on!

I tried this restaurant for the first time and was very disappointed! I ordered 5 "JUMBO" wings with a side of cole slaw off the lunch menu. If what I was served, JUMBO" wings, I would hate to see what average/ standard size wings are! Very low quality wings for a place that includes Wings in their restaurant name. Now called the Barefoot Grill. Same type menu, same decor, same Happy Hour and lunch specials. Will update food review after this visit! So here's the scoop: same owners, they've just decided to forego the Hurricane Grill franchise thing. What I noticed: the service is more "mature/professional," the management the same and more present front of house and in the kitchen. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken (my "safe bet" on all first visits) and found the produce fresh and freshly prepared, the chicken, the same. Although the selection of wing sauces is greatly reduced vs Hurricane's offerings they still have 8 different choices ranging from garlic parmasean mild, sweet hot red chile, bang bang, to buffalo. Next time wings for sure. My neighbors seemed to quite enjoy their burgers and haddock sliders. Hope this new "Indy" is successful! Thanks for supporting this mall and South Sarasota!

We ordered Parmesan French Fries - they were soggy and very oily. She didn't like them, I didn't mind. I'll eat anything though. She got a Chicken Caesar Salad, the chicken tasted like tuna fish.. Kinda weird, the dressing, lettuce, and croutons we're okay. We finished with the Caramel Cheesecake, that was the best part. It was good, because it was cheese cake. I'm not a fan of the place. All that with the tip was 27$. I would have rather stayed home and cooked.

I had thePhilly cheesesteak sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. There was just the right amont of bread, which was buttered and toated. It came with a side so I got the garlic parmesan broccoli (based on a recommendation on Yelp). It WAS to die for! I would definitively eat here again!! The service was excellent! The server would check on us several times not just once like other restaurants.

Hurricane's is located in Sarasota Square Mall AKA Westfield. It is a very convenient restaurant when you want a quick and yummy meal before going into the mall to watch a movie. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very attentive. The garlic parmesan fries are SO good. The wings are awesome and the shrimp tacos are good as well. We have been there several times and they are consistently good

This place is pretty good. Booths are really uncomfortable. Portions sizes are kinda small Service is really good. They have a lot of tvs so would be good for watching the games. My husband ordered the boneless wings. In comparison to BWild he said they would be better without seeds. I ordered the steak with broccoli. Not a bad steak (less butter would be nice - kinda overpowering). My dad ordered the fish and chips and he thought they were great. My step mom ordered a burger and thought the burger was very large. Good value there. Overall not a bad experience. Place is pretty clean and the staff pretty knowledgeable about the menu. We were surprised that the chain is in AZ, so we may visit one out there.

Hurricane grill & wings at the Sarasota square mall is fantastic! We have found most of their food to be great but personally I find their build your own hamburger is one of the best hamburger choices across all of Sarasota! Great food, great service and great location.

I stopped in to watch the first half of the basketball game on Saturday while waiting to pick up my son from a party. The bartender was very pleasant and attentive (although there weren't many people there, so she almost couldn't help but be attentive. I had the burger and, while not outstanding, it was fine. They had a guy playing guitar and he was good, but really? During March Madness at what sells itself as a sports bar, you're going to have music? Don't get that. Place was pretty empty. I don't expect it will last much longer.

We loved this place when it first opened. Unfortunately, the love affair has ended. The food is surprisingly good, but service over the last few weeks has gone from decent to absolutely terrible. Even the "manager" could not help us on our last trip. Let's recap: 1. The teenage front-door boy said he'd put our Sunday football game on. He never did. He walked away and left us with no beer or football. 2. Waited well over 15 minutes for a server to offer a pitcher of beer. After I cursed out loud, the manager came. He put the game on and produced a pitcher of beer for my wife and I. That's about all this goof did. 3. Waited, again, over 15 minutes to put in an order for food after we ate appetizers. Waitress never bothered to take our food order. 4. Waited over half an hour with empty beer glasses for beer that never arrived. Finally, we "threw in the towel" and left, spending our remaining $40+ dollars at Geckos. My opinion is: Hurricane Wings would like to be on par with BWW. Maybe it's the wrong location. I don't understand. Never had such awful service!

Had to ask someone to take our order after sitting for 15 minutes waiting. Had to ask manager to being out the appetizer after another 15 minutes of waiting. We had the buffalo chip appetizer (cold and soggy). We didn't wait for the wings. Wait staff more interested in watching football than serving customers. We loved Hurricane in Estero so we were excited to see this come to Sarasota. They were not the same experience.
