We went twice and both times were awesome. The ice-cream is very good, but if you get this drink that has sorbet and soda water (can't remember the name) its well worth the short wait for them to make it. VERY refreshing treat thats not over the top sweet. Staff was wonderful and suggested the drink to my wife the first time who got it then we all went back to get one the next day cause it was so good. Don't miss out on going here!

Ice cream lovers rejoice! Love Boat has come to Sanibel! Oh, you're not a local? You're just here on vacation? Ok, let me fill you in: Love Boat is a Fort Myers Institution. It's been in town for decades, since I was a kid, but in an out-of-the-way location off San Carlos. Now, it's come to the Jerry's Plaza, and it's FANTABULOUS! There's a bacon and caramel flavor, jamocha almond fudge, grasshopper...the list goes on and on with their amazingness, and they let you have three different kinds in a small cup or cone. Come, and bask in the wonder that is Love Boat--you won't regret it! It is just what you need to complete your vacation...or your shopping trip.

Incredible ice cream place that does one thing only and does it incredibly well. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and loves to have you try new flavors. I became addicted to the jamoca almond fudge and will probably dream about it until my next trip back to sanibel. Do not miss!

Great ice cream shop. Many many choices. Loved the gluten free options. It is worth the trip.

Staff was so welcoming from our initial visit 6 days ago. This was our 3rd visit, yet they remembered us on our 2nd visit and she asked me if I wanted iced coffee the minute I stepped inside tonight. We told them we were heading home tomorrow and they thanked us for all the visits. Lil pricey but service is so worth it. Ice cream, according to my family not too shabby either!

Love love this place! Homemade ice cream that's the best! Great service, very friendly staff who lets you taste everything you want so that you make the best choice. Fat free and sugar free options that taste amazing! Must try Jamoca Almond Fudge!!!

Best ice cream and service on Sanibel. So many flavor options including sorbets and sugar free/fat free choices. Very helpful staff gives great recommendations. Definitely a must on your vacation on the island.

Amazing ice cream selection and iced coffee! Super nice staff - highly recommend! They clearly mark which ice creams have gluten and nuts.

Wow! Perfect all around. So many unique and decadent flavors and options to choose from. The service was fabulous and they let me customize my order. The portions are HUGE, which is refreshing in a time where it is easy to feel nickel and dimed at vacation locations. Clean and comfortable interior, but we had a great time eating outside in the courtyard with the live tropical birds. I just wish we had discovered this place sooner than our last night on the island.

Great ice cream, great staff!! They have a lot of flavors, the classics and the standbys. The staff encourages you to try as many flavors as you'd like so you can't go wrong!

This is our new "go to" ice cream place on the island. Very good quality, many great flavors, and outstanding service. They are so much friendlier than the other well known place on the island (which shall remain nameless here), and there are so many more fun, excellent flavors. Plus, lots of places to sit or walk in the shopping plaza, so it is an enjoyable time. Try the Banana Cream Pie, it will keep you coming back.

Great people there and great ice cream! They have blue moon ice cream! I got peanut butter chocolate ice cream - very good. 5 stars to a delicious ice cream place!

What a great ice cream place! Sooo many flavors and service is top notch! Have been going back every day since we discovered this little gem. Hooray for great ice cream!

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I went twice in one day. The staff are really friendly and happy to let you try different flavors. There are SO many to choose from!! And so far they all seem incredible. I wish they would open one of these in Miami. Looks like we'll be making more trips to Sanibel for this ice-cream alone...

Love Boat Ice Cream has THE best non-dairy sorbet. I will definitely be coming back here!!!

Great, creative selection. I had salted, caramel, bacon. Ice cream quality was very good. Service was excellent.

Best ice cream on the island. I highly suggest getting the banana cream pie with some chocolate.

Love this place. We go everyday during our one week stay on Sanibel Island. The staff is great, the ice cream is awesome. They tripled their selection since last year. Too many choices..to little time to eat them all.

Yummy ice cream in an amazing array of favors. The salted caramel and bacon ice cream is unbelievable, as was the brownie batter and birthday cake. Service was great too. Small waffle cone has three flavors for five dollars. It was so good we went three times in one week while on vacation. They also have sorbet and sugar free varieties. As well as posting which ice creams had gluten and nuts.

The best ice cream on the island hands down. So much better than the other place that's always advertised. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They even offered to put ice in my bag for the ice cream we were taking home. Been there twice already and we just started our week here!
(5)Nicole W.
Great service, great location for sitting outside and eating ice cream, great ice cream! Wish we had tried this place sooner during our week here. They close at 9p - same as the others stores in the plaza. We walked in right at 9p and they gladly served us. Would be nice if they were open a bit later, especially during spring break/high season.
