This was my first and last visit to Logans. To begin the service was pretty bad because as we got there we were seated in a dirty booth. The waitress seamed bothered when I asked her if she could clean it. Then there was a strange flying bug that flew onto the side of my plate on the table. It also took for ever to get our food and I feel like it was not worth the wait for the food at all. I had to constantly ask the waitress for refills while we waited for the food that took for ever to come. So yeah, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was our first time at Logan's, took my daughter for her birthday. First off the staff was so Awesome! We didn't know when all would arrive, they where more then happy to take the time to give us a very nice table where we would all be comfortable. As we waited for the rest of the party to show, we where given drinks, the waitress was super nice, friendly, happy to help with menu. We ordered Free to Pick 3 appetizers, it was Awesome! You can pick any three, hot just great! We loved the rolls. When the rest of the party arrived, they to where served with drinks right away, we all ordered, everything was super, hot, well done, as ordered, once again the staff was super attentive, they had three birthdays going on while we where there, though super busy, seemed we where the only ones there. I can't stress how awesome all the staff was. Most of us had steak, all loved the food. My daughter had the chicken, large moist, very nicely presented. I will make a point to recommend this little gem to our friends. I expect we will go back. This was one of the best experiences I have had. My daughters birthday was really nice thanks to the staff, they even wished us all a nice night. Super happy! Thank you for the awesome experience. We'll be back!

We went to Logan's for the ribs. We have enjoyed them in the past. This visit they were hard to get off the bone, dry and disappointing. They offered another rack but we declined. We also had confusion over the drinks. Our drinks were upsized to a (full) for 12.50 instead of the 6.50 drink we thought we ordered. We could not find the (full) size even listed on the menu. The service was good and they did adjust our bill but left disappointed

We've avoided Logan's for awhile because their food had been going downhill. But, last night, Outback was super packed and I was too hungry to wait an hour. So, we went to Logan's. I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My husband ordered the 8 oz sirloin with a side of grilled shrimp and broccoli. All of our food came out piping hot and cooked perfectly. The meatloaf portion was HUGE so I now have lunch for today. The gravy was a little too....just eh for me. Too thick...almost a pudding consistency. As always, the yeast rolls were wonderful! My biggest complaint is that happy hour ends at 6 (!). That's awful.

Hmmm. Well, this location was picked by my parents for a lunch outing, so I didn't really complain or try to change their mind. I tried to stay on the healthy side, and ordered the salmon, which was okay. Nothing spectacular, but I guess my expectations and hopes were really low, so I was pleasantly surprised. My low star score comes in at a 2 due to the fact that I thought we had really bad service. It took a while before our waitress came to our table after we initially sat down. And from that point forth, the service was really slow and felt the attention paid to our table was lacking sincerely.

Went to lunch with my best friend the other day - ordered the half rack of ribs, sauteed mushrooms and onion petals. The rib ends were overcooked and the sauteed mushrooms were extremely salty for me. I loved the onion petals. It came out to $12+ so it's a bit pricey for lunch. Their bread before the meals came out is divine! Soft and so tasty. I could've just eaten those LOL!

Came here for lunch with my friend on a weekday. We were seated right away and I noticed that unlike the other Logans near my neighborhood, you can actually see the people cooking steaks and such. The place doesn't look like much but then again I have the same opinion about the one that's located near UCF. You will either love the idea that you can carelessly throw peanut shells around or detest it. The food is pretty good. I always get their salads, the chicken has a delicious mesquite flavor and the roadhouse ranch has a nice spicy kick. You will get a good portion and of course there's the yeast rolls that come to your table dripping with butter; delicious. Try their potato soup, very flavorful and topped with bacon and cheese. I think it's an alright place to come to occasionally if you can bear the country music, and having peanut shells everywhere. The UCF location I think is slightly cleaner and has better service.

Awfully salty. Fried pickles were so salty the rest of my meal tasted of salt. When mentioned to the waiter, the bobble head manager dropped by and did lots of talking and offering but never really did anything or understood the problem. WARNING: Be careful not to slip and hurt yourself in the parking lot. The A/C drip line runs off into a channel cut into the parking lot that runs from the building through the rear lot to an easement. It's wet and it's very slippery due to algae growth. On a previous visit, one of my guests slipped and hurt herself really badly.

WOW they have one of the best deals in town - they have 2 full meals for 13.99 Monday - Weds all day and the rest of the weeks 3pm-5pm - choose 2 entrees and 2 side ( they have so many to choose from) and they have happy hour, the hot bread is awesome..... with food and 2 drinks each i think we only paid 25.00 and great tip --- we sat at the bar and had great time --- mini date w/ hubby ... WORTH THE MONEY - AND DRIVE IF YOU IN THE SANFORD AREA.... onelove

This place is great. The food is always fast and fresh. Servers are always friendly. Free peanuts! Cheap beer! I love it here. And they aren't all about the money either. We ordered two big burgers plus a decent sized appetizer tray. The waitress suggested that we not order so much food (she did this in a much nicer way than I'm writing) as the burgers were gigantic and it would be a waste of our money to get the appetizers as we'd never finish it all, unless we didn't mind lots of leftovers. We ended up taking her advice, and I have to say, she was right. We barely finished our burgers as it was. If we had gotten those appetizers, there would have been no way. Most places wouldn't care at all. Plus on another visit, we were seated outside and it began to rain. They immediately moved all our food inside, as well as everybody else's from the other tables outside, and found us good seating indoors. Plus, even though they don't control the weather, they gave us 10% off the meal, and I'm assuming they did that for everyone who had been outside. All in all, I give them a huge 5 stars, and if there were more to give, I would. But make reservations if it's around dinner time. There is always a wait at that time. To me, that just means that a lot of other people agree with me about how good this place is, but to those who don't call ahead, it means a really long wait.

ohhhh oh where oh where to begin.. okay lets start at the beginning.. So I the Logan's on University and we decided that since we were out and about in Sanford we would go to the Logan's there. BAD IDEA!! First, we had a party of 7 and they tried to seat us in a tiny booth. I told the hostess that was not going to work and we needed a bigger table and then her nasty attitude came out. Her attitude only became worse as they seated us at a table that I had to suggest we pull TWO tables together instead once again.. a tiny seating area. The light above us was out and we were told a manager would be out right away to fix it so we wouldn't have to eat in the dark. As we sat there waiting for the manager who could bring us the magic of light I moved my foot and was stabbed by a dirty fork on the floor. It just keeps getting worse. We ask the waitress who is also Miss Bad Attitude went to get the manager. The so called manager was rude and unapologetic and to make things worse he refused to change the light so we could keep sitting in the dark! About 3 minutes later I glance up and there is a HUGE roach on the wall right behind my husband and I started freaking out! Then my friend pointed out ANOTHER HUGE roach on the other wall... that was it! Bad service, rude employees and giant roaches will ensure that I will NEVER EVER go back to the Logan's in Sanford. It was gross. Thank goodness Outback was right across the street!!! We told our waiter about our ordeal at Logan's and he was awesome! We got to Outback a little after 8pm and by 9pm we were signing the check and were walking out laughing and talking about the fantastic service. So, if you are thinking of eating at Logan's THINK AGAIN!! GO TO OUTBACK!! That is unless you enjoy rude service and like to dine with roaches.

Casual dining and decent food. The Ribeye or Prime Rib would be my suggestions. Excellent baked potatoes and the salads are so so. Burgers are great for lunch and the sweet rolls are good any time.

I've been to Logan's several times. The experience has always been consistently good. On this visit I had a 6oz Barrel-Cut Beef Fillet with steamed broccoli and a Caesar salad. The fillet was cooked to order (medium rare) but -- as has been quite typical -- perhaps too strongly seasoned (over-salting is a major theme here). For my taste, it was on the very high end of acceptable. In any case. there's lots of flavor in that tiny fillet -- a good, quality cut. The sides were pretty typical, but competently prepared -- nothing to write home about. Again, perhaps too much salt on that broccoli. Service, as always, was cordial and quick. I wish I could give between 3 and 4 stars (due to the saltiness), but given I can't, I'll go with 4 -- salt is a matter of taste (pun intended); I won't pretend I have the only correct opinion on the matter. If I had to describe the place in one sentence, it would be: very good steaks with decent sides and a fun atmosphere -- ask for less salt.

I've been coming to Logan's for 10 years. It's a consistently good dining experience. Today, I went for lunch and had the smoked salmon with a sweet potato and broccoli. I don't know how they do it, but the sweet potato has a charred skin but a supper smooth and buttery inside. It's great! The salmon had a delightful outer crust with a moist and tender center. It was a decent salmon Service was up to par: she kept the drinks flowing and was nice to talk to. The prices were also on par for the area All in all, give it a go; you will love it.

I'm on a diet so I got their 550 calorie option. Wood fired grilled chicken. A vegetable shish kabob and their salad with low fat vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was awful in my opinion but I hate low fat dressings. They are usually too sweet. And this one was too sweet. The rest of the meal was just okay. I give this place a four because it's fresh and I love their other food. The waitress was nice and she gave my son 3 rolls to take home with his meal without us asking.

The yeast rolls are awesome, especially when hot! Watch out for their silver wear, we went through four sets before finding a clean set. Manager even came out and apologized, said he has told his employee's of this before. This was the second time we had dirty silver wear. The first time our second set was clean. So we thought we'd give Logan's a try once again. At one time this was our favorite steak house (from the time they opened in Sanford, till . Now the food quality has gone down. My fiance was sick off the steak he ate before even leaving, not to mention he ordered it . Service was horrible. Waitress was too busy chatting with the people at the table next to us. It took me 30 mins to get a refill on my drink. We miss what Logan's used to be. Good food, Good service, Clean and pleasant. Will we go back again, probably not. Outback is our new destination.

Ever since Quincy's and their big, fat, yeast rolls went away many moons ago there has been a empty space in my heart/stomach that's been longing for this dough. The yeast rolls.....soooooo, good and comforting, buttery and delicious. I've pretty much had it all here over the years and I quite like most of it. Specifically-the rib eye steak, juicy and fat shrimp fried in a salt and pepper breading, mesquite wood-grilled salmon, baby back ribs. Their home made potato chips are good, too. Service is usually good, even when they're packed with families, college kids and seniors. Good specials on drinks, dinners for two, and kids meals.

I got a hair in the yeast roll that they give you before your meal, not laying on the bun, I mean baked into the middle of it. The others that were with me for lunch could not believe it. I'm not the type to make a big deal out of these kinds of things but just wanted to let the manager know. I saw the store manager making his rounds and I flagged him down and showed him.... His response... lol get this.... it was a fiber from the butter brush. I may not be the smartest man in the world but I can tell the difference between a course 2 inch brush fiber and a 5-6 inch long human hair. Did not admit anything and offered nothing at all. Just walked away and avoid our side of the dining room until we left. I called corporate and pretty much the same response, someone blew me off and sent me to some blackhole voicemail and I never heard back from anyone.

We had a bad yet great experience. Dan, the Manager and Nicky our waitress made everything alright. All three of our meals were wrong. Over-cooked, too much grisle and yet Dan made everything fine. Giving us all our meals cooked properly, plenty of shrimp and Nicky was fantastic. I do not usually complain, however, I had recommended this place and with the AYCE shrimp, I thought it would be great...it was not. But, Dan made everything all over again and we had a great experience and I want to thank Dan and Nicky for a great experience after all.

When I think of Logans, I think GOOD TIMES! Mostly because we always sit at the bar and well...drinks are fun :D But we sit at the bar because Sean gives us great service! He even invented a drink for my friend, it's the BethBlaster2.0. It's so yummy and if you drink too many...you'll be on the floor rolling around in peanut shells.:D It's rare to go in ther and it not be packed or about to be packed, which is always a good sign. Their steaks are grilled so very nicely and I always get the brocolli side which is steamed to perfection. I've also had many of their salads and they don't disappoint. Lots of ingredients, always fresh and they make any kind of accomodations for picky eaters. Don't forget about those buttery biscuit rolls that they give you when you sit down...OH LORDY!!! I can eat just those for my meal sometime. They are soft, warm and just melt in your mouth with that yummy butter. So if you're looking for a great steakhouse but don't wanna mess with all the hullabaloo of getting fancified, Logas is a good choice. The staff is friendly, the patrons are nice and it's a casual fun atmosphere.

It's kind of a nightmare at this particular Logan's, I would hope others are better. I ate at the bar as I was dining alone and the service was shall I say, scary. The bartender had the personality of a wet dishrag and the peanut shell scattered interior is kind of 1980s passe'. The food was pretty bland/boring as evidenced by my flavorless NY Strip and greasy baked potato with oily cheese on it. Why oh why is Sanford such a blackhole for restaurants?

Frequently dine here for the Fillet Mignon 8oz. Excellent and consistent highest quality every time. Best Steak restaurant and best value. Great selection of main dishes and sides. You get two sides with the steaks. The rolls, mashed potatoes and sweat potato fries are as amazing as everything else. Unlimited roasted peanuts in metal buckets and barrels available before and during seated. You are encouraged to put them on the floor. Coupons are frequently available up to $15 off a meal for two. All Friendly servers and managers frequently visit to make sure you are having an outstanding experience. They will do what ever is necessary to achieve this. Mention its your first time, and get a gift card for next time. You choose the music from a free electronic "jute box". The selection is primarily country, Southern rock, or Rockabilly. I usually BTO, CCR, and Foreigner. Excellent deserts in adorable little metal buckets. I live across the street from a Longhorn, but travel 20 minutes for a wonderful dining experience.

I have found the Logan chain has gone downhill everywhere. I'm from VA and the one near me has slipped big time. I ate at this in Sanford last night and was sorely disappointed. I had the full rack of ribs with fries and cinn apples. The fries were very limp and bland. The ribs were very dried out and probably some of the worse ribs I've ever eaten. The bread has always been a favorite of mine and the three of us all noticed that these weren't very good either. Not a restaurant I'll ever visit again. Oh yeah. The peanuts on the table were so stale we couldn't eat them.

Stoped here on our way home (without looking at the reviews) and quite frankly I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality ad the service we got. They have all type of options for meat and non meat lovers. I had the wood grilled salmon with broccoli and salad (550 calories) and it was absolutely delicious. My bf had the brewsky sirloin with grilled asparagus. The meat was tender and was very yum.
