Good was good. Nothing exceptional. If we were ever back in Navarre we would probably come back. The cinnamon roll hot cakes were good which is why we tried it to begin with. Like the mom and pop place that isn't all touristy!

Our first experience at Alphy's we came in for breakfast at 10:36. Ms Phyllis (hopefully that's spelled correctly) politely let us know the kitchen was flipping to lunch. We were devastated, and considered leaving. I'm so glad we stayed! For lunch we had fried shrimp and oysters, with sides of grits and hush puppies. The service was incredibly quick and friendly and soon we were eating. Then disaster struck. My friend's baby started crying and she stood up, preparing to take him outside for a walk and to leave her freshly fried shrimp behind. Out of nowhere Ms. Phyllis appears. She takes Julian (the baby) and watches him while we finish our meal. Turns out she's raised seven kids and he happily tours the room with her as she chats and refills coffee until we have paid out and are ready to leave. Naturally we came back for breakfast the next day. I had eggs Benedict and a blueberry pancake (yes two meals -- I had to) while my friend had a classic plate of eggs, grits, and bacon. This time Julian slept, which actually disappointed Ms Phyllis who was hoping for more baby time. This is a great spot for travelers and locals. It's been open for 45 years and the food is homemade. Y'all check it.

Great little breakfast place. Never eaten here for Lunch, however this has come to be our little breakfast spot here in Navarre. Be prepared for a bit of a wait especially on Sunday mornings right after church. Coffee while you wait. Great pancakes, on the large side. Very friendly staff.

We had breakfast here on a Saturday. We ordered eggs, ham, hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs benedict. Everything was cooked to perfection. We also had a stack of two cinnamon hotcakes (their specialty), and they were absolutely delicious! The prices here are so affordable. We would come here again and again, if from the area. Our waitress was very nice and fast! Highly recommended!

Not much to say other than the food was delicious at a good price. I got the lunch special of Mullet and shrimp but grilled in place of fried. They were happy to oblige. My grandpa's gravy was of the most delicious I've ever tasted. The battered stuff is tasty too!

We went for the corned beef hash at breakfast, but they were out by the time we arrived around 9. We were totally bummed. However, the breakfast we did have was good. My husband got the eggs benedict for $6.99, which was good, but overpriced. It didn't come with a side or anything, but my $6.99 meal came with: two pancakes, two eggs, two pieces of bacon, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. I only ate the hashbrowns, biscuit, and eggs... I was too full to finish the rest! My 4 year old daughter is picky but she loved their bacon and home fries. Our waiter, Tyler, was great. Very courteous and helpful. Hopefully this rating will go up when we get to try the corned beef hash! :)

Cinnamon roll hotcakes don't need syrup they're so good. Service was quick especially for being so busy. Refills were quick. Food came out fast. Everything tasted great. Only had the breakfast from here so far.

Came for lunch. It was pretty good, but almost everything on the menu is fried. I was hoping there would be more fresh seafood options. The fried pickles are very good.

My daughter and I went in early for lunch today so I could try their Liver & onion lunch special. They were still hoping from breakfast and we had to wait a little bit, but it was worth it! My daughter ordered the other specials, Beef Tips & Gravy over Rice. I swear to god it vanished!

Alphy's is a great Mom and Pop restaurant. Awesome Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu. This is a "No Frills" place, but the food is always good and made-to-order. Always clean and the servers are great.

Alphy's is my grandparents favorite breakfast spot and they frequent it often. The owners and waitstaff are incredibly helpful and kind, and prompt on things like refills. Every time I have been here for breakfast it has been packed! Full disclosure: I've only ever eaten one meal here and it's the biscuits and sausage gravy which is perfect. The biscuits are flaky and fluffy, the gravy is smooth and packed with sausage, and you can add any sides to your order (though you probably won't be able to finish!) Good food at reasonable prices and service with a smile. The only thing lacking about Alphy's is the location and decor, but that doesn't bother me much for a diner breakfast.

Once again. It's a 5 star review. Today I had the French Toast special with a side of biscuits and gravy and hash browns. Service was a 10 outta 10. Quickly seated and 9rders taken within 5 minutes. Dennys and IHOP or any chain has nothing on this place.

Great food and staff. They accommodate you in any way they can from fresh coffee waiting for your table to giving you a cup for the road. Definitely recommend. The cinnamon roll pancake is delicious. My all time favorite menu item.

I've recently gone here for the first time and for the prices and the good food I would really recommend it to anyone! But you absolutely cannot leave without trying their bread pudding! The serving size is enormous and it's well worth $3!!

I did Sunday breakfast with the wife and baby and it was spectacular. It's hard to find good service and good food in 1 place. This is one of them. Good portions and good prices.

Hands down, this is the best breakfast and lunch restaurant in town! When we are in Navarre, several months a year, we frequent Alphy's much more than anywhere else. The breakfasts are hearty, delicious, and reasonably priced, but we are often there at lunchtime. My husband wouldn't miss liver and onions Wednesday! He likes their seafood, and I love the chicken and hamburgers:). This is a family-owned and run restaurant, and the family and their wait staff go the extra mile to make sure you are well-taken-care of. I would recommend that you be patient if you are coming for breakfast, especially on the weekend, because it is such a popular place that people are willing to wait for a table.

Stopped here on my way out of town. On my return I will be a regular. Omlet was perfect (no brown) The noise factor just adds to the collegial effect!

I loved that place!! We had 6 people and ZERO complaints. The waitress was polite and made sure we had everything we needed (not easy for a table of 6). We met the owners daughter, who turned me onto the cinnamon pancakes. It's basically a dessert, but i loved it. The blueberry pancakes & cheese grits were awesome! I would choose Alphys over any place in this area for sure. The food we had was: eggs, sausage, pancakes, catfish, hash browns, chicken fried steak, grits, biscuits...and again, we had NO complaints.

Went here for breakfast with a coworker while on a business trip. The server was very helpful, suggesting I could get the cinnamon roll pancakes with pecans in them! And were they ever amazing! Can't say enough how much I loved this breakfast. Would definitely return when I get back to the area.

Good tasty food but entirely too loud, that killed it for us. They do have this cinnamon pancake that will add complete joy in the life, like Angels frolicking amongst your taste buds.

Great breakfast and very reasonable prices. My husband got eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and cinnamon roll pancakes. He said the cinnamon roll pancakes tasted just like a cinnamon roll and that could of been his whole meal. I have celiacs and they were very knowledgable about gluten. The Hashbrowns and home fries are both gf which was awesome. For my breakfast I got scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries with green peppers and onions. Husband and I both agreed home fries were better then the hashbrowns and next time we are adding jalapeños on them :) I think next time I will try the bacon. The sausage was good but nothing special. We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was great. Service was great and the place was clean. Price was also good...$33.00 for three adults and a kid's breakfast. Grits were really good. Eggs were cooked just as I asked. This will be our new breakfast place. They also offer a military discount.

What a delightful surprise to discover Alphy's for breakfast. We are from out of town and we come to Navarre several times a year to enjoy the beach and golf. My fiancé is not big on breakfast unless it is Panera Bread. Needless to say we hardly ever went out to breakfast while visiting here in Navarre. Finally got him to "live on the edge" and try something new. I chose Alphy's because of the yelp reviews and had also previously noticed a lot of cars in the parking lot. From the minute we walked in the door I knew it was a good choice. The staff was very nice and service was great! I had 2 eggs over medium which were cooked exactly as I ordered and the bacon was delicious. Also had grits and biscuit which were good. My fiancées pecan pancake was very tasty as were his crispy golden hash browns and Spanish omelette. We will definitely be back to try out the lunch menu. The only disappointment is that they don't serve dinner. So happy to have tried something new and we both enjoyed it very much!
