Came to this place about 2:45pm, there were about four other tables. Ordered new england clam chowder, and 1 1/4 lb steamed lobster with baked potato and onion rings. The clam chowder was pretty good, onion rings were ok, baked potato was on the cold side; however, the lobster wasn't fresh. There was a rancid smell from the lobster, especially the head. Now I've eaten lobster all over the world, the lobster definitely wasn't fresh. Then they charged for the onion rings, which was suppose to come with the lobster. Two sides and a soup or salad. The service was subpar. All in all it was a 2 1/2 stars.

Yum tum yum. I had the yellowtail snapper and it was devine. Little on the pricey side but the dish took the bait. Sat outside with the exhaust of the cars. Perhaps sit inside to be more comfortable.

Ehh, every time I come here I always leave underwhelmed. My mom absolutely loves this place because it's the few (if not only) restaurants in the area that serve fried whole belly clams. I on the other hand, always seem to have just OKAY food. I feel like it's overpriced for what you get, especially on the fried items. Both in quality, flavor, and portions.

Friendly service, really good food and wide selection, but restrooms could use some attention. Grimy doors and door handles, fixtures out of order. Makes me wonder about the kitchen. My blackened snapper, cole slaw, and fries were perfectly prepared. My companion's shrimp and scallop combo was excellent as well. Place filled quickly at noon on a weekday - relatively easy to get to once a parking space found. Extremely busy intersection - watch where you're turning or you'll drive around for another 5 minutes to get back to the proper turn-off.

My husband loves the lobster roll. I am partial to the New England Clam Chowder which is wonderful and not loaded with potatoes - but with clams. The onion rings are super, too. I shouldn't be eating fried foods but when we are at Steamers, I can't resist.

We used to love this place, but will not go back. They have lost their way. The fried fish was utterly tasteless without tartar sauce or malt vinegar. Not a hit with the kids. My fish sandwich had a slightly chemical taste- disturbing. I should of sent it back but was too busy coaxing the kids to eat. In addition, the grouper was supposed to be blackened (it was bland as well) and it was thin like chicken cutlet. Gone are the days this place rocked. Too bad. We will not be back when we are in Naples.

three of us had light lunch. Seafood chowder and clam chowder were a TEN! Sandwiches and salads were good, also. Good portions and good va.lue for the money. They DO need to reduce the filler in the crab cake

Not worth what you pay for. Food just average. Wishes ate elsewhere. Sorry. Fried clam bellies not bad. Service ok. The Cans of coke the best thing there.

The best fried clam roll I have had. Loved it!

Came for lunch with my mom. It was not my first time here. I've been many times before. It is one of the few places that has whole bellied fried clams instead of just plain fried clam strips. It's a very casual atmosphere. Lots of locals know of it and come here. Owned by New Englanders. The service is not formal but is friendly and efficient. We shared the Maine steamers for an appetizer and a bowl of new england clam chowder. The steamers were very good. They advertise a pound for $15.95. It may have been a pound but doesn't seem like one to the eye. The chowder was excellent. On the thicker side but we like that. It was so good, we took a pint to go for my dad (he is from Maine). I had the lobster roll and mom got the whole bellied fried clams from the lighter side menu. The lobster roll was $18.95, moms clams were $16.95. Again, the lobster roll was yummy but seemed on the chintzy side for the lobster meat. They used lettuce as a filler in the roll. Good flavor, a little heavy on the mayo but still yummy. Moms clams were delicious. We both got fries and onion rings as sides. Perfectly greasy. I do like this place and the service. My only "complaint" is the portions for the prices don't quite match up. I am adding photos. That's why I gave 3 stars instead of 4. We will be back.

Read great review's and went to go there for dinner our first night in Naples and they were closed at 8:40 at night. So when we were deciding on something for lunch our last day we decided to go back to try them. I had read rave reviews on their lobster rolls so I had to try, it did not disappoint! Large chunks of fresh lobster with the perfect amount of mayo on a fresh toasted buttered roll. My husband got their flounder fish and chips and he agreed it was the best he had had in a long while. We Will defiantly come back on every visit from now on!

The NE Clam Chowder is rock solid, the Fried Clam Strips are as good as any I have ever had. The lobster is also fantastic, many New Englanders would consider frying a lobster tail a sin, this place pulls it off beautifully. It is odd that this place is in a strip mall, I guess if it wasn't I wouldn't be able to get a table during peak hours. I'm so glad Steamers is here in Naples. JD

For some reason our group really wanted lobster rolls after shopping, so after reading reviews we ended up at Steamers. The atmosphere and decor feels like a very average casual seafood New England restaurant, and the food generally met expectations. The New England chowder was a little thick for my taste, but what I liked least about it were the scallions. If I go back, I'll ask to leave them off. The whole fried clams were okay--the batter was good, but they weren't particularly meaty compared to ones you get in Maine. The lobster roll had pros and cons. Pro: toasted buttered hot dog roll, light lettuce, big lobster chunks. Cons: celery and too much mayo. If I want another lobster roll in Naples, I'd probably go back here. However, I also didn't love it enough to make this a must-do while on vacation.

It was fine, nothing spectacular. Good service, very reasonable seafood prices. Just an FYI they seem to specialize in fried seafood and I went grilled...

Stopped in before when in the area. My wife's favorite place in Naples. We always get the blackened grouper sandwich ($15.95). Very good but kind of pricey. Large order of onion rings ($4.95). Very good. It is good for us because we can sit outside with our dog. Service is always good. We will be back when in the area.

The food is really good here. There are reasons I like this place and reasons I don't. It's worth going at least once, but I will highlight the goods and bads so you know. Several years ago I was in Portland Maine, and this place sort of reminds me of that. It has a picnic table feel to it which is what I found with a lot of the Lobster places in Maine. This is a really casual place, nothing fancy about it. The drinks and a lot of the food are delivered in styrofoam cups, bowls and plates....if not plastic plates. Some people may not like that when they go for dinner , so to me this place is better for lunch. Even with how casual it is, it probably has the same prices as a more fancy restaurant, which makes me lean toward going somewhere a bit more upscale. The most important part is the food. I would say it isn't the best I've had, and the flavored are a bit bland. Basically steamed or fried and set on your table. But, seems to be good quality.

A solid four stars! - this is the menu one sees across the six New England states, and most certainly up & down the seaboard. It's no brain tease, therefore, that tonight's clientele consisted of senior New England accents. Dare I say I even heard something approaching Boston Brahmin in the fore of the interior dining room. Enough of the waxing - on with the critique: Clam chowder (NE, naturally, although I noticed Manhattan was offered as well (my Dad winces when I share with him my own occasional appreciation of the tomato-based stew)). It was good, really good - but my dad's commentary was dead-on. It was a bit too thick. He proceeded that the Canadian Maritime provinces tended towards a thinner stock - and he (and I) prefers that. 1 lb. of Maine Steamer Clams (market price $13.95). Good - yet this has little to do with the house - missing the steam-time would be the mark of amateurs and they nailed the steamtime like pros. Served with drawn butter. 2 orders of fried clam bellies. Try getting that ANYWHERES outside of New England. Good luck! They were quite good. Calamari App. Perfectly coated and fried. Coconut-breaded shrimp. I didn't try them - but they looked dark to me. Daughter enjoyed them nonetheless. Can you believe I didn't take a single picture? My Aunt Elaine & Uncle Buddy get credit for our being aware of Steamers. We're spending the week in the old haunts of Naples, so the clock is ticking to review as many of the good places as possible!

Yum yum yum...had a blast the food I had was spectacular. Thank you for hosting us. I had the blackened Haddock with onion rings fries combo and rice. The price is right and the service was great. My friends and I enjoyed the visit. We are from Missouri and can't get this kind of food in rural town Missouri.

Had gone to Steamers for several years. Just returned to Naples and tried it tonight. Got the fried grouper lite. It came with two pieces of grouper, each the size of a chicken mcnugget for $15.99. Definitely not worth the money.

Hubby and I stopped for a quick bite of lunch on the way to the airport Yelped Naples area for a lunch place and decided to try Steamers after reading great reviews and was not disappointed Terrific menu selection and everything was fresh and delicious! Will definitely visit again next time in the area. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Never disappointed in the quality of food or service. I could easily eat here every night and never tire. Best seafood chowder ever. I repeat ever!

Something absolutely adored about the area is that everything is in a strip mall. It's weird, different and quintessentially Florida. Everything including a seafood hot spot that looks like a ridiculously fun dive and still I'm on the fence about it. Steamers has a wide variety of options that range from chowder to oysters, calamari to grilled salmon. If you've got a hankering for seafood anything and looking for relaxed vibe that takes you back to actually ordering up seafood at the beach? This just might be your go-to place. To be fair, the prices are very reasonable so that's where the third star comes into play. I dropped in for lunch and opted to sit outside facing the lot because when you're experiencing the world's worst summer in Chicago...you'll take the humidity and torrential downpour as a treat. When in rome. Inside, there was a hefty amount of people dining during a later lunch hour, though seats were still available all over. I ordered a full round of calamari with onion rings and fish and chips. Because of the daytime 'light' menu, both the calamari and onion rings were coated with a panko mix that hardly stayed on and crumbled when handled. Flavor wise, I wasn't impressed. The fish was in a different batter and was a bit better than the calamari. With the selection for this visit, I think I'd pass on the next trip unless in a bind or curious to try something like the chowder or grilled fish. The ambiance is fun and holds a seaside/maritime feel to it. So that's where it's on the fence, this place is different and can't be ruled out simply over a first time visit so there has to be something for everyone.

Perfect clam and seafood restaurant... Home feel with great service! The clam chowder is so good!! We got steamed mussels and clams as well and was excellent!

This place was absolutely PACKED on a Friday night!!! They are definitely doing it right here. Simple, quality food and really great prices....my wife and I both ordered off the lighter fare menu, certainly a good idea because we started out sharing a bowl of the seafood chowder and I was about full after that. Wife had the grilled salmon and I had the haddock and chips with onion rings and the rings were great. Lightly battered, not completely coated with batter. Haddock was very lightly battered as well and flakey. Great food, great service and prices are very inexpensive for the generous portion sizes.

  • Dea C.

Love, love, love the seafood chowder!! Chunky and full of lobster and lobster flavor! The owner tells me this is an old family recipe. Atmosphere is ABSENT. A strip mall--but we still sit outside--it's Florida!!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the hostess seems to favor the locals and we waited quite a while to be seated. However, the food is what really matters and it was worth the wait. Steamers doesn't pretend to be fancy, so if that's what you're looking for, save this for a casual night. I've been coming to Naples with my family since I was born, and we usually go to Grouper N' Chips for this kind of food. We may have found a new favorite!!! I started with a beer and the seafood chowder. Soup was hot and fantastic. Lots of flavor and chunks of meat. I went with the Haddock on the lighter side menu and I was very impressed. It was baked with a ritz cracker topping, came with fries and coleslaw. Yum on everything. Our server was very extremely helpful and nice. We'll be coming back on our next trip down to Naples for sure!

Wonderful food. Some complain that it is pricey. My sister met the owner while dining at another establishment and he said that the seafood comes in fresh everyday. You are paying for a service that knows how to do seafood. The lobster roll tastes just like the ones you would get in a lobster shack off the coast of Maine.

Typical strip mall location - nothing fancy - just really good food at very reasonable prices. Service is always good and if you like fried foods try the whole belly claims. Speaking of claims their steamers, as the name suggests, are some of the best I've had. Close your eyes and you'll think you've been transported to New England - without the cold weather.

$5 cup of chowder with nary a clam (still tasty though). Very good fried shrimp without the tails so you can eat them easier. Onion rings ok, but greasy. Excellent service. All in all pretty good spot.

Just left this place! Excellent choice ! I had blackened grouper , my husband had fried shrimp & my niece had Mac& cheese ! Everything was great!

  • Lili R.

I read the reviews and I thought: "sounds boring but solid." Ok, it wasn't good and here is why: 1) the bill was illegible and when we sorted through it we found that we had been over charged on 2 items. 2) the chowder was pretty bad. It needed pepper, salt, and well...flavor. If you've ever been north of DC and east of Ohio, you will be disappointed. 3) I ordered the steamer and half my seafood came cold and was really low quality. 4) the sauce on the grouper was meh. 5) they only serve beer and wine and there isn't a single microbrew (bottle or tap) and the wine selection was subpar. 6) the key lime par was just sweet mush and not nearly Limey enough. Also, the crust was not crunchy. 7) waaaaaaaaayyyyy overpriced. All in all, when we showed up and waited 15 minutes to sit down I read the menu at the local next door and I really wish we went there.

It's a cute place but I ordered my grouper sandwich to go. Service wasn't too friendly or helpful - I asked if there was a particular item the restaurant was known for and all I got was an indifferent shrug back. The sandwich, at $14.95, was just ok - probably would've tasted better had they remembered to pack the tarter sauce and lemon it was supposed to come with. Have to say the onion rings and fries were excellent, but that's about it.

It's all about the bellies...the clam bellies, that is. Steamers has 'em. Not a fancy place, but decent seafood and such. All in my party were happy with their meals...fried calamari, fried clams (whole, with the bellies) and fried scallops. The best? Probably not, but good and, again, they've got the bellies (not everyone does, and if you're from New England, you want 'em).

Had lunch here on a nice Saturday afternoon. Sat outside to which our waitress was prompt at greeting us. I had the seafood food chowder. It was served steaming hot so I had to let it cool for a while. This gave me time to enjoy my beer After the chowder cooled it was pretty good. Nice chucks of seafood which seem to be fish lobster and maybe shrimp. I had the lobster roll as my main lunch course. It was served on a lightly toasted roll. The lobster was prepared with light greens with mayo. The sandwich was good on a hot day. Hit the spot. Served with a side of fries which were also tasty nice and crisp. Over all very good food but it is a little expensive. My total meal being over $30. Nice place to have lunch

  • Laura S.

My husband and I have been to Steamers about a dozen times and every time we get the grilled plate, but instead of one skewer of shrimp and one skewer of scallops, we order one grilled shrimp skewer (6 large peices) and 6 lightly breaded & fried butterfly shrimp. My husband doesn't like fried shrimp but he loves theirs because the focus is on the shrimp, not the breading. They are always cooked and seasoned to perfection as are the fresh grilled zuchini and asparagus they come with. You also get 2 sides to choose from (soup, salad, fries, onion rings...). Their new england clam chowder is excellent and you can order half fries and half onion rings. The service is always unusually fast and we've never had anything but great service. The ambiance is pretty basic and there is seating outside. The price is a little high for the ambiance but not for the quality of food. I have no problem paying a little extra for the best shrimp in town.

Has become the first stop when visiting Naples. In a town of expensive, fine dinning it is great to have a local seafood place for quality seafood, casual atmosphere, and a reasonable price. A great plus is the options beyond the traditional fried offerings. Grilled veggies!!! Grilled fish!!! And all of it good quality.

I love small places that are frequented by local people. This place is not fancy but the servers are friendly and fast, the food is EXCELLENT and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food served. The clam chowder was excellent and my "do it yourself" combination of scallops, calmari and oysters was fresh, lightly breaded, cooked perfectly and delicious. The side of Onion Rings was far more than I could consume and the Iced Tea was unlimited. I would CERTAINLY return here and bring friends and family.

I expected much more from the four and five star ratings Steamers has received. The decor reminds me of a breakfast place. As I think about it more - so did the service. Not that the service was bad - just fast food-ish. I had the grouper chips. Since it was the lighter dish the grouper portions very small. I could barely see them under the fries and onion rings. Food was okay. I'm in no hurry to return.

Pulled off the highway with the family looking for something to eat that wasn't your usual chain restaurant. The wife and I were craving seafood but that's not something I eat in any restaurant - too many cases of food poisoning for me. Saw this place from the road and decided to go in against better judgement. Well, GREAT CALL. Nothing fancy inside - lots of 'old' people and we stood out like a sore thumb. maybe it was just the time of day but regardless the food rocked. really fresh seafood, decent size portions, friendly staff. what else do you need? A better beer list. I'm particular about my beer and apparently their regular patrons aren't so i didn't order a beer and that would have completed my meal and earned them another star.

Very impressed with this restaurant! Being New Englanders, we had to have the "steamers"......we were not disappointed! Everyone at our table agreed......they were excellent! The blackened grouper and the chowders were also a hit. As for the fried foods ( we had onion rings and fried clams) ......great! Tasty and not the least bit greasy. Will certainly visit again next time we are in Naples. Also, kudos to our server, Kelly....she was wonderful!

We went here last night and enjoyed the food, but felt it definitely wasn't worth what we paid. We wanted to do a sampler type thing, and get a bunch of different seafood that my girlfriend and I could share. Unfortunately, aside from appetizers, they don't really have anything standalone; everything there is a "plate" that comes with sides and whatever. We shared one "plate" that included fried shrimp, clams (coincidentally they got it wrong and gave us scallops instead, which I attribute to the fact that the waitress didn't write down the order while at the table), and onion rings which we really didn't care about. They brought us this teeny tiny little basket that one really hungry person probably could have finished off, let alone two. $25!!! I'd hate to see what the lunch portion looks like.

Very good clam chowder, best I've had outside of New England. Fish and chips was also very good. I'll be back to try more stuff on their menu.

I ate here July 3, 2012 with my mother and grandmother while were were visiting Naples. I am not a huge seafood fan, so I was skeptical at first, but my mom really liked it the last time. Honestly, I did not know what to expect. It is located in a strip mall, along with a Mexican joint, a Subway, and an Einstein Bros Bagels. I vaguely expected some greasy spoon restaurant offering only deep fried sea creatures. Well, I was way wrong! Lovely, quaint little restaurant. It is essentially divided into two halves, with table and chair seating. The place is decorated in nautical themes (buoys on the walls, netting hanging down, plastic lobsters, crabs, etc.) There is a chalkboard menu of "fresh" offerings, and two table menus. One is the "main" menu and the other is a "smaller portion" menu offering lots of the same stuff as the main menu. This is clearly a nod to the elderly population of the area, who does not eat the same way a bus load of college frat guys would. As I said, I really don't like seafood, but I will eat mild, white fish. I asked the very pleasant and efficient server for a suggestion and she proposed haddock. I'd never had it, but I got it blackened. It was served with a baked potato and steamed veggies (zucchini and asparagus). Everything was excellent! The fish was seasoned and flaky, and excellent. My mother had fried grouper and chips, and raved about her meal as well. Grandmother also had haddock, but hers was grilled instead of blackened, and she was quite pleased. One thing I like is that it is not overly expensive, and not overly fancy. Your drinks are served in foam cups, your meal comes out on a plastic plate, and there is nothing pretentious about the place. It is friendly, and comfortable, well-run, with well-worn furniture and very good seafood. Nothing more, nothing less.

The food was good. Fried food. May complaint is the cost for the amount of food you get. I ORDERED THE COMBO OF WHOLE BELLY CLAMS AND GROUPER. I feel that it was over-priced by $5.00. I wouldn't have minded paying the price if the portions were in line for the price. It was not. Food was not greasy. Whole belly clams were just ok. A little dry and not much flavor or clam substance. Whole belly they were not, maybe half a belly. LOL Very small whole belly clams. I also had the seafood chowder. Very good and flavorful and of course over-priced for the portion size. Will not go back. I feel like I paid too much. It was fleecing of the customer... lol $17.95 for combo(very, very small portions) and $7.95 for a pint of seafood chowder. Does not fill a small soup bowl. The only restaurant I walked out of and was still a bit hungry. They load you up with fries, which I did not eat much of.

One of my favorite casual seafood restaurants in the area--I always get one of the fried seafood baskets with onion rings. They'll do half & half for you, so usually do half fried shrimp and half fried scallops with a full order of onion rings (you can also do half rings and half fries). The breading is so light and crispy--especially on the onion rings, sooo good. The seafood serving on the lunch portion is pretty small, so if you're starving, you might consider getting the full portion. But the serving of onion rings is pretty generous, so the lunch portion overall is enough for me. It's not cheap, but I think the quality merits it. Service is friendly, but they do seem to have a lot of tables per server, so it's not always super quick. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, which is nice, but it is located in a strip mall, so not the most scenic outdoors.

Steamers is a very average restaurant, tucked in the middle of a strip mall in North Naples. They don't have a bar so don't expect a cocktail, you are stuck with beer and wine. The wine they offer is low-end, Woodbridge. The food is a bit overpriced, and nothing special. I had the onion rings on the recommendation of a previous reviewer - again, nothing special. The service? Nothing special. I suppose that really sums up this place. The good news? Even in peak season, you can probably get a table here without a wait. All in all, you can do better in Naples.

  • Brian R.

Tired of paying high prices in Naples for food that is mediocre and enough to feed three people, come to Steamers....one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. They have a light fare menu with less expensive prices (and smaller but plenty large portions...unless you are a pig :). I had the grill scallops and shrimp (very tasty), freshly prepared onion rings (to die for) and combo grilled veggies (asparagus and zucchini) that were just perfect. The other two in my party had grilled haddock and gave their meals a "10." The wait staff is attentive and no nonsense. We will return back whenever we can to try all the other many seafood choices. We tried all three of their dessert options (splitting them three ways) and could not decide which was better because they all tasted fantastic (chocolate cake, Boston creme pie, and key lime pie).

Steamers isn't fancy or a dive. It's casual with a nautical feel and outdoor seating that looks into a parking lot. The table setup inside is cramped and awkward to get around. The food is usually very good, though at times, certain items can be tough. The shrimp and the fish fry we had recently come to mind. My biggest beef is with the waitstaff who wear their emotions on their sleeves. They are always rushing, talking loudly/arguing with the kitchen, and a few give the impression that your presence truly bothers them. We will go again because it's convenient and the food is usually good, but it's not our favorite place to eat in Naples.

The friendly waitress was the high point of this strip mall restaurants. The food was the low point. Ordered the grilled grouper from the light menu and it was inedible at best. overcooked dried out paper thin slice of fish. Beware when ordering the namesake steamers, served with an artificial buttery oil sauce as opposed to real butter. Not at all like the clam shacks of New England.

Had a great lobsta roll and cup if chowda from here. The owners are from New England, and know New England seafood! Another favorite hidden in a not so great spot! Def worth it!!!

Stopped in late while just arriving from out of town. Staff was very friendly and even provided me with samples of their soups...both chowders and they were great. Had the blackened red snapper and was not disappointed. Appears to be a local staple. Will visit again for sure.

I use to have THE recommended review for this place, sadly I am changing that. This was one of my favorite restaurants because the food was so good but that is no longer. Our last experience was dreadful. Previous visits warranted an early arrival but when we arrived there was hardly anyone there(always a bad sign to me). This is the reason why: horrible service. The waitress was on her phone all the time; we had to catch waitresses going by just for drink refills, no one even checked with us after our entrees arrived. I sat there for quite awhile before my plate was cleared; we had to ask for the check, wasn't offered any coffee or desserts...you get the idea. In spite of the good food there are many other restaurants in Naples to drop a Benjamin on, sadly I won't be returning here.

New England in Naples. Chowdah baby, authentic clam shack atmosphere do not dress up for this place. Just bring your appetite for clams both raw and steamed, oysters, lobster both steamed or fried and steamers and fried clam bellies and french fries and onion rings. Screw the chloresterol you don't do this every day. Die with a smile on your face.

Very good food! Probably the best value, taste, and overall experience of any restaurants on our trip thus far. We had the fried calamari for our appetizer which was delicious. I had the 1/2 tuna melt with onion rings and a cup of New England clam chowder. All were delicious. The onion ring breading was just oh my gosh good!! Crunchy, crispy, and not one bit soggy, which apparently is hard to master given some of our other fried food experiences. My husband had the soft crab sandwich which I too tried and loved. The kids had mac and cheese and shrimp! We left with full bellies, happy with our service and what we paid for it! It's these off the beaten path restaurants that are my absolute favorite! Someone mentioned locals getting better service, but I didn't see it that way. It just seemed that the regulars were just that- regulars. So the wait staff actually had conversation to carry on with them. Try it out!

Ate here last night and had a great meal. Calimari was good and fresh tasting- very simple and lightly breaded. The onion rings were awesome. For the main I had blackened grouper that was very flavorful- husband had the seafood gumbo which he enjoyed. Not great decor/feel- in a strip mall. Would come back and try more fish though!

We have been to Steamers about a dozen times now and we are still amazed at quality of the variety of seafood dishes we try to get each time. It is easy to fall into a rut and get the same great lunch or dinner, but we try to keep the variety going. Except for getting the to die for onion ringentferentfers, we get a different species of fish every time. I had the grilled Yellow Tail tofu and it was superb.

Steamers used to be one of our favorite spots to visit in Naples...nothing fancy about the place..very comfortable, great service. I was dissappointed this time, the grouper sandwiches used to be giant, worthy of their price tag...not anymore. I ordered the lobster roll, paid $16.95 and it had no taste! The best thing on my plate was the onion rings...

Seafood is always fresh. The lobster roll although really expensive is great. The chowder is excellent. Enjoyed my softshell crab sandwich which is really hard to find down here. Their location is in a strip mall, and it's strange to find such a good restaurant in a strip mall. But in southwest Florida, this isn't unheard of. There is outdoor dining if you don't mind listening to the cars go by on Pine Ridge.

Love, love, love the seafood chowder!! Chunky and full of lobster and lobster flavor! The owner tells me this is an old family recipe. Atmosphere is ABSENT. A strip mall--but we still sit outside--it's Florida!!

    (1)
  • Ron P.

Had gone to Steamers for several years. Just returned to Naples and tried it tonight. Got the fried grouper lite. It came with two pieces of grouper, each the size of a chicken mcnugget for $15.99. Definitely not worth the money.

Best taste of home when away from Boston as they import all seafood from New England. Wonderful family type atmosphere. I will be back again!!
