Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We came based on a recommendation from an employee at our hotel. THANK YOU SO MUCH, FRANCIS! It's in a strip mall. Little spot that can seat maybe 20 people inside, perhaps 10 outside. It seems family run. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and the thin crust pepperoni pizza. Mozzarella sticks were very good, marinara sauce they came with was steaming hot which is a plus for us. The pizza... apparently our pizza got stuck in the back of the oven and they had burnt it. So I appreciate that they didn't try to give us that one and made another from scratch. The pepperoni was so thick! Chewy but still a bit crunchy. There was just enough sauce. The crust was VERY flavorful. I have absolutely nothing negative to write about this place. Next time we visit Naples we will definitely be back!

LOVE this place! It reminds me a lot of the pizza places back up north. It's clean and the staff is very friendly and super accommodating. The pizza is great, calzones are great, even their dinner combinations are really good. It's all really affordable too for the portion size. I love that they deliver but dining in has always been a good experience too. Highly recommend!

Palumbo's is new and close to my house.. So thought I'd give it a try. Had takeout twice now.. But never dined in...so FYI. Their pizza is pretty top notch. Thin crust with pleasantly.. But slightly chewy crust. Was as close to perfect as naples gets. Compare to cosmos or peppis.. But i dont know which would win in a showdown. Better than morevellas across the street in my opinion.. But I've only had two slices. Definitely great pizza don't get me wrong. My favorite in a long while. Their meatball sub is pretty stupid craveable! They either make their own bread or have a very good bakery. Awesome if not a little dusty with flour. Their marinara is one of the best I've ever had period.. Really fresh and flavorful. I hope they keep their quality there on both counts.. I would call this my favorite meatball sub ever.. if not for a little less heat flavor than I prefer. If they offered a spicy marinara it would be pure perfection for me. So all in all.. one of the best sandwiches I've had.. Just being picky at this point.. Lol Calamari was a little soft for take out.. Maybe just miss timed a little.. But their marinara makes up for all. Tiramasu was a little boring and very light /cheap.. But that's what you get anymore.. I dont know anyone who uses much marscapone anymore(its expensive) .. Except my wife.. So.. No surprise. I'm spoiled when it comes to desserts. Also a miss was the garlic knots.. one late afternoon i got takeout and they were dry. Could have may been older ones that shouldn't have went out on a down time.. So i bet they would be better next time.... All their other bread is top notch so prolly just a bad knot day. The young guys are new so they overestimated take out time by alot.. so glad i was early.. Just growing pains in sure. Don't hesitate to try this place though!!!! Great pizza and sub place. It deserves the support.. They're sub bread is well worth the visit!! 3.5-4.5 stars

Wow saw the cook carry out frozen pre made pizza shells and add toppings, sauce to It, topping were good but dough was terrible, very small limited menu. Up charged me for dough selection but never mentioned it. Bottled drinks and 4 ounce glass of ice when requested?bottom line better than I can do with frozen bagels in my kitchen but not worth revisiting,

Pizza was good. Mozzarella sticks were average - at best. Went in for pick up and it was busy.

Great new Italian family pizzeria in Naples. The food is great. The best homemade bread and the desserts are homemade too! The owners are really nice. I will recommend to friends and be back soon!

We ate at Palumbo's for the first time Monday evening. My wife mother and I ordered pizza, 1/2 Italian sandwich and spaghetti and meatballs. Each order was very well done. The meatballs were moist and soft, the pasta served al dente and the sauce was rich smooth and with just the right touch of sweetness. We enjoyed the pizza and the Italian sandwich as well. We will return and will recommend to all our friends. Well done Palumbo's.

Can not comment on thin crust (mystery how folks chose this over thick) .But can say loud & clear your will be hard pressed to find any better THICK SICILIAN than Mark (owner/chef/12hours per day on duty) serves. We had the "White Pizza" 16inches (square!!,not round):superior dough, excellent cheese, both taste & volume, and just right ricotta added. Easily enough for 6 people. Also ordered the meatball sub and also give that 4 stars. Small number tables and counter sitting for 8-9 people, comfortable & clean and enjoyable to eat in, if take out not in order. As of now, no delivery, restaurant only one month open and with more volume that should come. Beer is served and waitress was pleasant, positive & friendly. Additional items on menu large step up from normal "cookie cutter" pizza shops/chains. Speaking of which...deserts are home made there...do try try cheesecake if still room after THICK pizza! Access challenging due to high volume intersection & retail ongoing construction. Worth discovering If,like me, you have been searching for REAL THICK pizza!!

Pizza is pretty good. Eggplant parm was one of the worse I had. All the other sandwiches were also pretty bad. The bread is really firm and dense. Also, the way they wrap the sandwiches, all the cheese gets stuck to the wrap. If you go here. Stick to the pizza.

After trying the pizza and finding it pretty good, we decided to try the Sunday gravy for two, priced around $25. What an awful disappointment. We were informed the "meal for two" only came with one small salad, which was cheap iceberg topped with one piece of tomato and four canned olive slices. The meal, basically a big bowl of spaghetti with two small meatballs which were cold inside, two small, tough sections of sausage and hard, dry, inedible, flavorless meat rolls falsely advertised as brasciole. It was obvious the meats were all microwaved and added to the pasta. Insult to injury, no bread served with the meal. The apathetic waitress was informed of the poor quality of our meal and muttered, "I'll let someone know." Sadly, no manager chose to speak to us. We will not be back and will not recommend to others.

Went to Palumbos for the first time last night and we will definitely be back again. As we have recently moved here from NY we are craving NY style pizza and this hit the spot. The hot antipasto was fresh hot and enough for three. Our pizza arrived bubbling hot, a perfectly browned thin crust and over flowing with toppings. The waitstaff was delightful and service was fast and efficient. We are looking forward to our next visit.
