I give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. I actually really enjoy the food and the service here. I have come to dine-in and carry-out at this restaurant, many times. All of which were always great, excluding only one time (probably out of 15/20) that the food was just mediocre and the service wasn't the best. There's no excuse for the service not to be great everytime, because the restaurant is not ever that full. Great place, though :-)

The food is good and the prices are reasonable but the reason I'm giving it a 1 is because of the owner/staff. The last few times I was in there the owner was rude. The last time I was there was the last time I will give them business. I ordered 2 orders of pad Thai to go and the owner took the order and he said 20 minutes for pick up. I was about 45 min away and by the time I got there the order still was not done and had to wait an additional 15 min. My husband asked him what was taking so long and the owner turned around and yelled that he was very busy and its first come first serve. After he said that to us in the tone he said it in, it was the last time we ever went there.

Totally agree with Taryn, it's the worst place to get Thai food. The food is just not worth the price and the service is really bad. The service is slow and the owner would be rude and yelling at you if you don't tip them good for their bad service. I will never go there again, there are many other good Thai restaurant near by.

I absolutely love this place..Being a family owned business the cook is the wife and I'm sure the Husband runs the business. I guess I have nothing to compare this Thai food to, seeing I have never had it before, but what I have had was absolutely Delicious! And along with the great food comes great service! I just love this place!

What can I say. In a way, Thai Corner is a microcosm of what's happening to NA business. They used to be a HOPPING place around lunch, and decent dinner business too, but MAN, has the business fallen off. On a good Friday they'd be half full for lunch, with a pallor over the entire dining area. The room has a spacious feel, and is usually quiet and good for a business lunch. Food is what we'd say in Chinese "bu quaw bu see", meaning roughly "not bad - no major disaster". I often find fault with the Thai sauces being too watery, but at least the ingredients seem fresh, and not overly sodium-ized. But I can tell you that the portion has dwindled over the past 5 years. I understand, and really kind of feel bad for this family business trying to make a go at it. One word of caution to the uninitiated: don't order your food "hot", coz you just might live to regret it. And a reminder - water and oil don't mix, which means drinking a gallon of water will not assuage your palate after it's been burnt. Order it medium, and if it's not hot enough, there are options. The other way around... well, have you tried taking the heat out of a dish? I hope they make it through these tough times.

This place was excellent the few times I've been there. The staff was always courteous to us. I've noticed in a lot of reviews of a lot of places (including this one) that people say the customer service was less than stellar. A lot of times that definitely does happen. But a lot of other times the customer themselves is just an obnoxious boor. We've all seen it with our own eyes. Manners go a long way, and most people are gracious hosts if you say thank you and please. That being said, I thought the food here was excellent. The pad thai was great...and the curry dish that I ordered was fantastic as well. For those of you who like spice, ask them to make it as hot as they possibly can. They did it for me and it was fantastic. By the way...the summer rolls are delicious.

This restaurant is FAMILY OWNED. You will know this to be true from the presentation and the first bite of food. The portions are generous for the money and the food is seasoned perfectly. You can request your level of spice or no spice at all. I live in Orlando and I will regulary make the drive to eat here (30 min drive). The best Thai Food I found in Central Florida. It's funny because the best East Indian food I found in Central Florida is walking distance from here (Memories Of India 2). Please give THAI CORNER a try. I ate at Thai Corner for the first time the other day and was utterly disappointed with the food, in fact it was the worst Thai food that I have ever had. First we ordered the summer rolls that were horrible, the peanut sauce was unlike any other that I have ever had and when the main course came out which was Pad Thai it consisted of noodles drenched in soy sauce with pieces of overcooked, dry, chicken and that was it, no bean sprouts or any other ingredient. Unfortunately I must say I will never eat here again.

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Food is consistently pretty good. Never the best I've ever had but never a complaint either, except that they offer "thai hot" and don't prepare it thai hot. Owners are always very friendly. Prices very reasonable compared to the place in Heathrow so we order a lot of takeout from here.

My entire family loves everything on the menu! The yellow curry is my wife's favorite. The only thing I could offer as a suggestion is hotter "Thai hot" as a spice option, however they're happy to bring a bowl of spice so you can add all you'd like. Oh...and they offer brown rice as an option. Definitely our favorite Thai restaurant in the greater Orlando area.

Heavily Americanized food, might be the reason this location has a new restaurant every few month(Corrected; According to other locals, this place has been here for a long time). Thai food is unique, in taste and presentation. When the senses are over whelmed by the curry and peppers, the sweat flows as the heart beat increases. None of that happens with this experience. It's not bad, it's just not Thai food. maybe extra's from a frozen Thai food factory?

This is my local Thai place and I am a fan. This is a place is so close I can walk. Lets talk food: I am not crazy about the spring rolls or any of the typical fried Asian apps, but I love the dumplings. All the food I have tried is good and reasonably priced. My wife always gets the Triple delight, veggies pork, chicken, shrimp and rice. I like all of the curries, but to me the star is the Chili Jam. The Chili jam is the Thai hot, sweet sauce that I love. The service is fine, I have never had an issue. The owners have always been super nice and wants to make sure everything is fine.

YUCK! Never will I ever be back. I should have known what to expect when I walked in at 12:30 on a Friday, in the middle of lunch hour, and the place was empty. This food is the worst thai food I have ever had in my life. I ordered my favorite- Pad See Ew with Chicken and spring rolls. The food was so greasy that all I tasted was oil. I could feel it sliding all the way down. My stomach was upset for 3 hours afterwards. I had leftovers, and I refused to eat them. I just threw the food in the trash. If this food was super cheap, I would have chalked it up to me making a poor decision, but this food is actually on the higher end of what I've seen Thai Food priced at in the area. Please do your stomach a favor, and DON'T GO!!! It's a waste of calories.

This place really disappointed. We decided to go here because it was near the house we were staying at. When a 12 year old reluctantly greeted us at the door, that should have been a clue. There was one large table in the middle with about 10 people, and one other table of 2 people, and then us, a party of 3 in this small restaurant. THere was only 1 waitress, focusing mostly on the large party there. So service was more than subpar, they really needed another hand. When the food came, all I can say is that it was edible. Thai food usually doesn't disappoint me, but their Pad Thai looked anemic- no color, no crushed peanuts, not sprouts, no basil, not even any fried egg mixed in. Just beige looking noodles. My companion's meals looked just as appetizing. Won't be back.

I've been to nearly every Thai restaurant in the area, and this is by far my least favorite. The flavors are uninspired (go expecting fresh basil and chili, get what might be out-of-a-jar peanut sauce - even the Thai iced tea tastes a little off), the prices are a bit high (the person who said $18 for lunch was absolutely right), and the service is tepid at best (more than once the hostess and server have both given us tons of attitude and not even refilled drink). Stick with Royal Thai in Orlando. Even living within cycling distance of Thai Corner, I would drive to Orlando for their Thai food instead. I brought someone who spent significant time in Thailand and they agreed.

To say this is the worst Thai food ever is... wow, a huge EXAGGERATION in the least. Yeah, there's a shy kid who will awkwardly show you to your table but he's a kid, can't fault him for that. The extremely nice waitresses that usually handle the floor are pros. They tended to everyone and I never had to wonder where mine was. The whole staff was awesome. I left my credit card there by accident and they actually chased me down in the parking lot to return it to me. I wish they give you more chicken satay and spring rolls (because they were delicious) but they were inexpensive so no biggie. Their pad thai is unique; it tastes like traditional pad thai but grilled? I don't know what they did but it's yummy and I'd probably eat it everyday given the chance. I also probably had three Thai teas - they were on point, strong and not weak or watered down. I was pretty happy with this place and I would take anyone here.

I have been eating at Thai Corner at least once or twice a month since it opened and have never been disappointed. I have eaten at numerous other Thai restaurants over the years and find Thai Corner's food to match up well. The angry yelpers who claim that they don't have authentic quality food are way off base. Great apps and main courses including what I think may be the best curry in Lake Mary. The food is always freshly prepared and full of fresh ingredients. And if you have a sweet tooth, make sure to try the sticky rice for dessert. One tip: They have a carousel of crushed peanuts and different sauces that they sometimes forget to bring to the table. Make sure to ask for it. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are great people and I have never seen them be anything but friendly and helpful. They are quick to offer suggestions and have no problems with menu changes or substitutions. It is a family operation however and service can get slow when the dining room is crowded. I can't get enough of this place. I don't understand the negative review before me. Talk about authentic Thai cuisine. I have eaten food in Bangkok (where the owner is from) and it tastes just the same. I even had a little flashback to my visit to Thailand while eating the phad thai. I'm not a big thai fan...I have ONE go-to dish which is chicken fried rice which I really like a lot. The chicken fried rice here is very good...the only place that I like better is Siam Garden in Winter Park. The decor is simple, but appropriate and everything seemed clean..
The restaurant inside is intimate. Very spacious and you won't feel crowded. The service was great and was seated right away. The chicken satay appetizer was really good. I can't understand the poor reviews. Food was excellent, environment was small enough that service was immediate, I just knocked off a star for price. I'll start off saying that though this was my first time here, I had been wanting to try this for a long time, but it had always been closed. I think I came here thrice before, but it was always closed for some reason or other. But my efforts were fruitful, and today I got to try it out. I only got the pad thai - the benchmark with which all thai places are weighed against each other - and thought it was excellent. The $13 price tag was unjustified though. The restaurant owners were friendly, and their son was working on the homework in the corner - giving it an "honest" feel. Would definitely come again - if anything, for the amazing pad thai. Oh yeah, some small thing that irked me - the medium spice was too spicy and the mild was too mild.

Aya B.
I sent my Pad Thai back because it was nothing more than a small amount of bland noodles on a plate without even so much as a slice of orange for garnish. Worse was the price, $9.95. We've been going to various Thai restaurants in the area and Thailicious, across the street from the hospital on 434 is so much better. They give you a nice salad plus a very nice looking plate of food for $7.95. We went to Golden Thai which is also near the hospital on 434 and their prices were comparable to Thailicious and for $2 more you get a bowl of soup plus 2 spring rolls. Both places plated their food so they looked high class, they charged less and BOTH tasted sooo much better than Thai Corner.

Awful! Below average food, slow service, angry owner I worked in the Lake Mary area over a period of 3+ years and ate lunch at Thai Corner on many occasions. At the time, it was the only Thai restaurant north of Colonial Blvd...and that is the only reason why I ate there often. At best it is average Thai food at expensive prices, a guaranteed $18 for lunch (soup, entrée, soda) with tax and tip. It is not worth that, not even close. Service is always slow and they ignore you when you walk in the door. Their attitude shows that they don't care that you're there to give them business. On one occasion, the owner yelled (yes, I mean raised voice) at a colleague of mine over an incorrect order. He would not admit the mistake and made her feel awful. We never went back after that, even though there still was no other Thai restaurants in the area. Luckily there is Golden Thai in Longwood now. An incredible 5 star gem! If I could give Thai Corner a zero rating, I would.

Their curry and pad thai is really good too! Very filling and enjoyed all of it. If you're around lake mary fl you should try this place out.
