Parking lot full, line out the door so this place must be doing something right. Full pork roast going on outside too. Tons of food options as long as you're not vegetarian or keeping kosher. I had the Pan con Lechon, and awesome sandwich served on a delicious roll with onions and ai jois pork juices. Place is kinda funky as they don't speak much English and there are no prices listed. If you're visiting the Florida Everglades you must stop here to refuel. Wish I'd bought an extra sandwich for the hotel.

Nice place for being homestead. Great juices and coconut water. Nice little tables outside to sit and hang out. Overall it's cool.

Great place! went there recently, and had a great meal at decent prices! Can't really say anymore that's already been said (thanks Drew!) But one thing I will add is that I was never made to feel awkward or weird because I did not speak spanish. Business is business there, as it should be!

Zoe - The Juice Palace (also known as El Palacio de los Jugos) offers a diverse selection of latin meals, juices and fresh fruit on the premises. I've often seen this eatery on my drives through Miami, but had never stopped to try it out. So when it opened in Homestead, I decided to give it a try. It was a suprisingly good experience. As you walk into Zoe's, latin music plays outside the business as families sit on the outdoor picnic tables, lending itself to a festive atmosphere. Behind the glass counter, a wide variety of freshly prepared meals are available. From meals like Pollo asado (chicken roast), lechon asado (roasted pork), arroz con pescado (fish with rice) to sides like chicharrones (fried pork skins...heart attack inducing goodness!), tostones (fried green plaintains), arroz congri (red beans with rice) and yuca con mojo (boiled casava with mojo). However it is the freshly made juices that makes this place stand out. They have over 20 ice cold flavors including mamey, guanabana (soursop), strawberry, maracuya (passion fruit), mora (blackberry), tamarind, watermelon, coconut water and guarapo (sugar cane juice). The service is excellent as the servers behind the counter are friendly and I've always been greeted with a smile. The only downside I've had is in trying the ceviche. I wasn't to impressed with it. So if you find yourself in Homestead, stop by and give it a try and let me know what you think.
