This is the only steakhouse in Homestead, yet every time I come here it seems to be empty and relatively slow compared to the Italian garden next door. Still, the food is pretty good for a chain restaurant, the steaks are good size and flavorfull and cooked correctly to temp. The service can be slow at times, but overall very friendly, and the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Not a bad choice of venue for a meaty meal. And the banana fosters cheesecake was AMAZING, sent me into a diabetic coma, but dang, it was worth it! Good bar drinks too.

Excellent steak, finished to perfection. The sweet potato was baked well. We had shrimp and lobster dip, I would suggest that to anyone, my husband had a burger and he said he's never had a better burger anywhere and he's very picky.

Friendly service. But we are pretty sure our food sat in the back waiting to taken to us. Our medium rare streaks were well done and my tilapia was dry and salty. My friend sent back her steak and rather not have anything else. The server and manger were really nice about it.

I am very disappointed in this location. The steak was not cooked very well. The appetizers look like I could easily buy them in my local supermarket. The "special sauce" for my appetizer was just Ceasar dressing. Because the food was undercooked to my liking, I actually got sick. I didn't even bother to go back and complain, it honestly wasn't worth it. Never again will I go to the Homestead location. I know they wouldn't screw up that bad in the Kendall location.

Pretty pathetic service. That's the biggest takeaway from here. As soon as we walked in at about 9:30, the hostess looks at my wife and I, sighs heavily, and just says "two?". No "welcome" or "hello" or "good evening." Nothing. Totally made it seem like we were inconveniencing her by walking through the door. So she starts to take us to a table, and the server for that section is there. Server looks at my wife and I and says to the hostess (in front of us, no less) "I don't want it, give it to another server." Ok. Now you've pissed me off. Manager of LongHorn: Get rid of your pathetic staff. I can't believe I have to be treated like an unwanted P.O.S. just for walking into your restaurant. It was terrible. Wont be back. With service like that, who cares if the food is good or not.

The food is the same as every Longhorn and you can look at my reviews and see that I am a fan of Longhorn. This night they were short staffed and we were waited on by the manager. She was GREAT! She is the whole reason for five stars.

I have been to this Longhorn about ten times over the past three years. I stay at the. Hampton down the street during the winter months when the Key West hotels charge an exorbitant amount of money for a hotel room. The price of the food is a little pricey for what you get. The steaks are priced on par with just about every other chain steakhouse, but everything else is way over priced. There is NOTHING on the dinner menu for less that $10. A plain cheeseburger is $10.99. I usually get chicken but it seems like the chicken is very fatty and the portions are very small. They have a nice happy hour, which lends some affordability, but overall, it is priced high. I usually sit at the bar and the service has always, always been slow. I don't know what the bartenders are doing, but they spend more time in the kitchen (or not behind the bar) than serving drinks. Average restaurant in a very-below-average restaurant area.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. It is not allergy friendly at all. All soups are dairy based. Very reluctant to substitute or adjust items. My husband and I had chimichurri steak sandwich. He had potato chips with cheese and bacon but instead of adapting it to no cheese they just left it off my plate. Chimichurri steak and salad were good.

We've been here a few times. It isn't all that great, but it's not too bad either. I have never been disappointed by the food, but the service has been on the sketchy side every time we've eaten at the LongHorn. One thing that keeps me coming back is the humor in seeing the South Florida wait staff dressing like they are from West Texas. As a former resident of West Texas, this is pretty funny stuff to me. Not a bad place for fairly decent food, mediocre service and good dose of a contrived Texas culinary experience.

This is the first and only LongHorn I've ever been to. Can't speak for other locations, but this one has always been pretty decent, despite the fact that most of the servers are new (when I moved into the area, they were JUST opening it). There have been a few mistakes here and there (bringing cheese on a lactose intolerant person's food), but they've always been apologetic when it happens and they don't do the dreaded "disappear for a million years, so you have to hunt me/another server down" act. They're always incredibly friendly and more often than not, I've witnessed the manager walking around, asking guests how their experience is going. This chain has a pretty decent menu, just don't expect to be counting calories. Even their salads seem pretty heavy. Extra points for having strawberry limeade (I like lemonade just fine, but limes are better than lemons any day.)

We have been here a few times and the main thing that separates us from eating here more often is that the prices are a bit steep. Right now they have a decent special, two for 29.99 which consists of two salads, two entrees and either a dessert or appetizer. Me and my husband came for date night. The salads were just okay, the lettuce seemed a little old. We just had been to the longhorn in Orlando whose salad was off the chain. I ordered the red rock shrimp which were great grilled shrimp with butter sauce on the side. My husband had the bacon wrapped steak. The steak was not as good as the one in Orlando either.... We both had loaded baked potatoes which were better then most restaurants. The potatoes were sift and the cooks allowed the cheese to melt before serving it. Finally we ordered cheesecake for dessert. Mind you know this was ALL 29.99. Typically one entree is about 15-22 dollars! Our waiter was also quick an attentive. Overall good experience but our expectations were high coming from a five star longhorn in Orlando....

had a great meal but also some sticker shock. we each had a reasonable steak and a drink and ended up at $80?!? dont get me wrong the steak was good and service was great but it just seems that prices were a bit high for what's supposed to be an everyman's steakhouse.

No complaints. The ribeye i ordered was cooked perfectly, the Stellas were frosty cold, and the cheesecake was delicious and there was plenty of parking available and prices were fair. I definitely recommend this steak house.

Had a great experience at this Longhorn. Admittedly I've only been to this chain a handful of times and I ended up here out of convenience and proximity to my hotel. I have to say it was the best Longhorn I've been to. My steak was cooked perfectly and my server Michelle K is the reason I was compelled to write a review. She was fantastic & I would ask for her...

Poor Service. I am actually sitting at the table writing this. We have been here for over an hour and still no entree. (Med Rare steaks). We ordered an appetizer that came out 40 minutes later. I told the food walker I wasn't paying for it. The manager came over and apologized. For what? I'm still waiting another 45 min for med rare steaks!! I've been to this location twice and both times the food times were atrocious. The server took the appetizer dish that had my husbands fork on it so he asked another waiter that was standing there for silverware. His response "I don't have any" and walked away! WTF. Have given this place a second try. Won't be coming back for a 3rd. A tip: go to the Olive Garden next door.

Starved to death, probably would've eaten anything, including my arm. Opted for Salmon. Should've ordered a steak, duh! Over cooked Salmon and "dang" near raw vegetables. Did I eat? Yes, but question is...was it worth it? Service at bar sucked. Waited for entree for blooming ever. Caesar salad pathetic, and barely enough to even get 6 bites. I laughed when server put it in front of me, but I was "starving," remember. Ordered ice tea and it was left with no refills and ice in glass barely there. Done! No return.

Decor was above average for Longhorn's. Outlaw Ribeye was perfectly done and delivered in a timely manner. The sweet potato side did not have the advertised cinamon. Wife's mojito was good and large. The warm honey flavored bread was moist and delicious. Service was the spoiler. Our server appeared to be the bartender. Hard to find and he was very busy. Overall, good food, great decor and poor service. Worth going to if you want good steak in Homestead area.

Had dinner here one night. Steak and salad with a coors light. Steak was flavorful and didn't need steak sauce. That's a plus! I was craving a salad more than anything and it hit the spot. I'll be back. You want a decent meal to fix your steak and salad craving, this is your place. Can't go wrong with a Coors light either.

Our server Roger was amazing... our food, not so much. We ordered the porterhouse for 2, the signature potatoes au gratin & steamed asparagus.... everything was literally raw. Cold & raw. yes, raw. Our longhorn sampler appetizer was super amazing though. Very accomodating keeping the shrimp in a separate bowl because of a shellfish allergy. The gm visited our table after the raw steak fiasco, then we had a flurry of servers taking food, bringing food. Basically... we ate asparagus. steak came back. We ate steak. Then the macaroni & cheese came out (ill pass on a take 2 for the potatoes they were disgusting). The steak was very good.. it came back perfect the 2nd time The rest... the sides suck. To their credit, they more than compensated for the tragedy of errors that was our dinner. We remained calm & just chocked it up to an alternate universe situation. I want to give a low star count... but the steak was that good & the attention taken to apologize & make the situation right makes up for a cold, kinda crappy meal.

As far as Long Horn Steak houses go, this sits squarely in the middle. Nothing to brag about, but not bad either. It was packed at 8 pm on a Friday so we sat at the bar. My steak was fantastic. But it had a lingering effect that eliminated my constipation for a few days. My wife, well that's a totally different story. It didn't taste as good as she likes. And three hours later she was giving her offerings to the porcelain gods. It wasn't the half of a rum runner she drank, it was the steak. We know it was the food that caused this vile reaction. So word to the wise, if the taste is off, send it back.

Once I was seated I let my waiter (DAMON) know that I haven't been to this restaurant in a while and I asked him what he recommends, he suggested I have the NY strip (no bone, med rare) loaded bake potato, and broccoli and my daughter had the kids meal ribs and fries. im glad I took his advice, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding, he made sure the food came out on time, my daughter was happy and so was I.

Stopped here to try the steak on the way home from a Keys trip. Although the reviews said the prices were high we wanted to give it a try. Service was poor and we were thirsty much of the time we were there. The steaks were good but it was almost impossible to enjoy them because it was so cold in the restaurant we were all literally shivering. People around us were all freezing and the staff seemed unwilling to do anything about it as the air conditioner continue to blow on us the entire time we were there.

(2)Gregory H.

Worst experience ever matthew was the waiter jessica demski manager if you end up at that place by accident and matthew is your waiter please run away very rude and not a care in the world food was ok but the drinks sucked
(1)David O.
Great lunch special - Chicken and avocado flatbread sandwich with a side of steamed veggies. Can't go wrong with this lunch.
(5)Mathias H.
Food was great, had the burger which was superb. Service also great, very friendly and eager to please. The only 'problem' was that there werea lot of kids there and apparantley the parents felt it was ok for them to run around and scream instead...
(4)Mikee R.
The food is the same as every Longhorn and you can look at my reviews and see that I am a fan of Longhorn. This night they were short staffed and we were waited on by the manager. She was GREAT! She is the whole reason for five stars.
(5)Krizzy B.
The food was good and the waitress was ok. The food was pricey, but well deserve for working hard. My filet cut steak was everything.
(4)Carlos V.
All the positive reviews about this place are trur. We went there and tasted the good fresh meat, the lovely cocktails and the hot jalapenos apetizers. Must do while in Homestad.

(3)Carlos O.
Was not impressed on the least service was OK. The steak though came out prefect. But serviced lacked.
(3)Kenny R.
The Steak is Delicious!! I had the Ribeye... I think my toes curled lol. Nice atmosphere and the Food is Great. I recommend to any Family or Awesome for Date Night as Me and My wife do.
(5)Lisabeth C.
(2)Gia G.
They have very good food and great service. The bread they give to you before you order is delicious. They are a little pricey but you are getting very good food.
(4)Nawal B.
The food is perfect and service is great but the food can be expensive unless you for their lunch special during the week.
(5)Cathy L.
We had an awesome waiter named Daniel our food was excellent prompt and the drinks were great you have to try the mojitos and blackberry firefly tea!
(5)Matthew O.
(3)Angela R.
Great crispy salads. Chicken and portabella dish was great. Went at dinner time with no wait. Fast and friendly service. I hear they are known for being slow...however i didnt experience that. Clean place
(4)Ryan B.
A little pricey, but good steak. The 16 oz. T-bone was cooked perfectly (rare), and the sides were pretty good.
(4)Lady V.
Been here a couple of times.. Food is very good. Service has improved from the first time there.. Steaks are incredible and drinks are great..
(4)Karen O.
(3)Christina V.
(4)Robert C.
had a great meal but also some sticker shock. we each had a reasonable steak and a drink and ended up at $80?!? dont get me wrong the steak was good and service was great but it just seems that prices were a bit high for what's supposed to be an everyman's steakhouse.
(4)Green L.
No complaints. The ribeye i ordered was cooked perfectly, the Stellas were frosty cold, and the cheesecake was delicious and there was plenty of parking available and prices were fair. I definitely recommend this steak house.
(5)KC M.
(4)Karolyn M.
(1)Shannon P.
Done! No return.
(3)Duane S.
(3)Claudia O.
Matthew our server was very friendly and courteous , the restaurant was not full so we were seated right away, the food was good ......Overall a pleasant experience
(4)Tundra D.
(4)J A.

(1)Kellie M.
Excellent service! Here after a nascar race. The place is packed. The food and service is outstanding. So quick, so delicious. Moses is very busy, yet attentive. I'm very impressed with the way the staff is handling this volume.
(5)Angie L.
I visited this restaurant yesterday & the wait was about 10/15 minutes (not bad).
(5)Bob M.
(2)Maria P.
Came in during a slow period right between lunch and dinner. Had our waitress changed twice. Waited forever for any bread to arrive. And the forget about the food! Very disappointed with the service. Will not be coming back to this particular Long horn.

Friendly service. But we are pretty sure our food sat in the back waiting to taken to us. Our medium rare streaks were well done and my tilapia was dry and salty. My friend sent back her steak and rather not have anything else. The server and manger were really nice about it.

(4)Renee P.
Excellent steak, finished to perfection. The sweet potato was baked well. We had shrimp and lobster dip, I would suggest that to anyone, my husband had a burger and he said he's never had a better burger anywhere and he's very picky.
