This location does not meet the minimum you would expect from a Starbucks, they don't accept Starbucks rewards, they were out of water bottles in an island really ? Who dropped the ball? There should be dozens in stock , there is no warmer for bagels or croissants overall this shouldn't be named Starbucks if the resort wants to own this they should just name it south seas cafe but don't lure me into a "Starbucks"

Service was fast and efficient. They don't accept gold cards, but they do accept cash and credit....

Typical Starbucks. The only thing different here is that they do not accept gift cards or any other type of Starbucks card. They have a sign for it and they let me know after I placed the order. Quick wait time.

No Starbucks card support, out of apple juice, dirty, little seating. Very disappointing experience.

Slowest service in the world (quite possibly). They make your drinks fine but you have to be willing to wait 5-10 minutes to get them. Even for something as simple as an iced tea or black iced coffee. Just pour the coffee in the cup already!

This Starbucks wasn't bad... the only issue is they do not accept Starbucks cards - she told me it was because it is owned by South Seas Resort. However, it is a real Starbucks and all... it looks the same and my drink was good. They are actually open 7-5 every day, even though a tip said otherwise.

Worst service ever! I told them which cake pop I wanted and they couldn't understand: "The one with vanilla icing and rainbow sprinkles. It took them 3 times and they kept getting me a chocolate one!" They also do not accept Starbucks cards.

After you get used to the idea that they don't take your gold card, I have found them extremely nice and helpful. I've been here less than a week, and they remember my drink.

Very tiny Sbux located in Captiva. The staff was friendly, but seemed a little green in making the drinks and they didn't seem to understand what drinks we exactly wanted. My mocha latte didn't taste like Sbux to me really. However, it was simply OK. Nonetheless, the whole experience at this location just left me feeling awkward. Would never go back.

Stopped in for a coffee on the holiday weekend can never go wrong with Starbucks. The girls of the counter were super nice and my beverage was made perfect! It didn't matter that I couldn't use my Starbucks card here; I was happy there was a Starbuck's way out here; it it Captiva:)

Am I the only one that noticed that this Starbucks is significantly more expensive than other Starbucks? So there's a price increase, the service is slow and uninformed, and my iced coffee tasted old.....not impressed!! I am a Starbucks junkie and need my daily fix but this is not a true Starbucks even though it looks like one.

Starbuck's: Consistent coffee all the time. Friendly associates. Great location. To those who give 1 or 2 stars and whine cuz they can't use their Starbuck's card.....get a life. It's frickin coffee.....enjoy Captiva Island.

So this is a basic starbucks on an island. We came here a few times because we love starbucks and wanted an afternoon pick me up. The summer was so hot so we like to get the cold drinks. As I said it's probably the only coffee shop on the island. A downside is that they do not accept the starbucks gift cards so we couldn't earn any points. It's located right outside South Seas Island Resort and in a little shopping center. There are so cute little shops so it's nice to grab a coffee and walk around. The staff was very pleasant but kind of slow considering there was not a lot of people in there. The drinks are pretty standard Starbucks items with the same type of food. I didn't notice anything really different. I would say if you feel like coffee then I would definitely say stop by.

Just what the two starts has stated: "Meh, I've experienced better." 1. They don't accept any starbucks cards (they are run by the resort, I guess.) 2. I asked for espresso shots instead of frap roast in my frap and they nearly charged me for extra until I pointed out I am substituting and not adding to. The baristas were pretty friendly and seemed to have handled the volume of customers in the lobby pretty well. That is what the two stars are for. At that point, I just biked 14 miles from Sanibel so I needed the calories but dang....step it up!!

Instead of being a free standing Starbucks, this location should be a branded a South Seas Island Resort Coffee Shop, which brews Starbucks coffee.. It is one of those "Starbucks" locations that does not have breakfast sandwiches, and even though it's a fully branded Starbucks location, they can not accept Starbucks cards or the application.... Disappointed

Hot Mess. Agree with the other reviewers. It's a disaster but maybe we will get some coffee soon. Our order was skipped and the woman behind us got hers without paying yet.

I'll just get to the point: they don't take Starbucks gift cards. I guess you have to save your craving for the mainland.

Just your average Starbucks but with a great location across from the entrance to South Seas. Easy access from the trolley stop.

Not impressed at all! Asked for light ice in my grande iced drink and they charge you for a venti! Usually thru just add more water! Only Starbucks I've ever been charged extra! As well they failed to make my husbands drink and he had to ask where it was! Awful experience! Drive 5 miles and go to sanibel bean ;)
