So flippen good and the server was super friendly and attentive. Highly highly recommended. We're a touring band and we get breakfast in a different city every day, this has been our fav hands down. Pancakes were the best pancakes, burrito was massive and delicious, daylight scramble was unreal! Average breakfast stuff was all perfect, home fries were real not frozen deep fried nonsense... They were done proper. Xoxoxo

This is a nice place if your craving that diner type breakfast. Decor wise its nothing fancy, a diner feel with diner food. Kind of tucked away on its own nut very busy so people are aware of it. Not super amazing but we'll cooked and has that at home comfort that is expected when it comes to breakfast. The portions are large so I'm sure you'll get your share. Prices average at about 7.00 a plate. They do have a kids meal, changing station in bathrooms and high chairs for the young ones. They have tables and booth seating. Large selection of breakfast meals including a healthy eater section. Table service which is always great.

This was a great experience! I had been wanting to go here for years but it never happened. We were in the area today and took the leap. There was a small wait at the front and no list - they just pay attention to the order of people walking in. I think we waited 10 minutes on a Sunday at 11:15. The staff were super friendly and quick in that diner fashion although not pushy. I ordered first and made a few healthy substitutions to my meal. I made a joke about it and our server was very good natured about it. When my BF ordered she picked up on the healthy vibe and asked him questions to make sure he was getting the healthy food he wanted (Do you want bread or no? Yes. Ok, do you want the toast dry? Yes.) I liked that she was able to predict our needs. I ordered the turkey dill crepe with no cheese, add avocado. I kept the hollandaise as my weekly splurge. It was delicious! BF ordered the Ultimate Omelet with no sour cream which he also enjoyed. We both got sides of fruit and the fruit cup was pretty large. Their menu is strikingly similar to First Watch. Not sure what's up with that but it made me happy! Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back!

Good, comforting breakfast food at a great price. Excellent service. We went around 9am on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. Once we ordered, our food only took about 5 minutes.

Stumbled upon this place on Sunday as we were looking for a brunch place near Altamonte. I was not disappointed! Shortly said, these people have good quality breakfast items and a nice quaint environment with reasonable prices. I would come back again to try different items. For the brunch I ordered the Gravy Dream, a 3 egg omelette with sausage, onions, potatoes, jack and cheddar cheeses, and sausage gravy with hash browns on the side. They also offered another bread so I picked the English muffin. Food came about 15 minutes later. While the hash browns, eggs, sausage, onions and potatoes were all fairly standard, I enjoyed the sausage gravy quite a bit. It was a tad bit salty and the gravy itself was overwhelming, especially midway through (that omelette had gravy on top AND inside). Would have preferred a little less gravy but I'm sure some others would say the opposite! Most important factors to me however, were the hot and freshness of my food. For what I had, the food was hot and had little grease. My girlfriend's french toast looked delicious and fruit were fresh too. I came in expecting a quality breakfast and I came out feeling full (and sleepy!). So definitely a plus for me. Doesn't hurt that service was relatively quick compared to other places I've had breakfast. Restaurant was clean as well. I can recommend this as a good place to enjoy breakfast with family and friends. I'll return to this place when the chance presents itself. The location itself is not located on 436 but off of a small little road in a small plaza. Pretty close off of 436.

Great Breakfast! They are all so nice there and our food literally took 5 minutes maybe to come out! It was delicious! Highly recommended for a quick breakfast on the weekend and such reasonable prices

I come here often because it's close to home and usually the food is decent But after my last visit I will not be returning. What horrible customer service. I think all the waitress have been there too long. Nobody says hello good morning with a smile on their face.. You Just get a sit where you would like. once you are seated nobody even acknowledged that we were sitting down. We ended up getting our own menus and silverware. We ordered a soup and we never got it. When mentioned to the waitress she instantly said you didn't order soup, instead of apologizing and getting the soup. We "never ordered" it but the soup was on our bill. Funny! I am a waitress myself and I have never experienced such rude, and unprofessional service before! The owner needs to replace all the waitress with a young, cheerful customer oriented staff!

We've been looking for a mom-n-pop breakfast place near our home, and thanks to Yelp we found this gem. Good food. Affordable prices. The walls are bare making the place look a bit stark, I was here for the food and not the decor. They have some slightly unique breakfast items and not just eggs, bacon and pancakes (though they have those too). We'll definitely be back.

I'm just totally digging this place! I find the menu items are a great bargain for the amount of food you are receiving. I tend to place pick up orders for lunch from here since it's so convenient. I always appreciate how they package condiments, utensils, etc in a side brown bag without ever being asked. Dining-In is a pleasure when you get the right server. Don't get me wrong, everyone here is friendly, but some servers are more efficient than others. Want some ideas on things to order? EVERYTHING! But if you can't order everything, then try the Gravy Train Omelette or Mama's Favorite for breakfast. If you're looking for lunch, then grab the Maitland club. There's also a breakfast and lunch special menu for patrons on a budget. Side note, the onion rings and breakfast sausage links here are awesome! The onion rings are an option as a side to your sandwich. It's not listed on the menu, but it is available! I love how when I took 1 bite from the onion ring and it didn't fall apart. Woo! Nothing worse for an onion ring eater than a mouth full of onion while the breading gets left behind on your plate. Don't miss the breakfast sausage links! 2 links per side order, but so worth it. The link has a great snap for texture and the flavors of sweet and salty meld well. Anyway, I honestly never ever had a bad meal out of all the times I've been here. It's traditional diner food done right!

The environment is busy; hustle and bustle. The staff is friendly and approachable. PMA, positive mental attitude is definitely present. My daughter is enjoying her experience with her Mickey Mouse pancake :). The food is made on the spot and it took less than 15 mins. This is definitely a place I'd visit and recommend.

The food is okay and the service was par. We waited awhile for the server to give us our bill, pay and get it back. I don't think I will return there. Sorry. It wasn't that busy the day I went.

My friend and I stopped in on a Saturday late morning and were happy to find an immediate seat and great food. The service was fast and the food was quite good! Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be a regular and knew the staff by name. Definitely check this little spot out!

Good food, friendly staff, great prices - the only reason I'm giving this location 3 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness in the dining area. Dust and stains on the window sills and walls - makes me wonder what the kitchen is like.

Have been here quite a few times for breakfast can't speak about their lunch but their breakfast is always very good. The service is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. They have a good selection of breakfast specials that are $5.50. Have heard from some of our group that comes with that the Eggs Benedict is amazing. Overall very good food very good service and very reasonable prices.
While waiting for our pet to finish her visit to the vet, I decided to check out this local place on my husband's recommendation. It's very charming with an easy to follow menu. The employees are very friendly but don't hover while you eat. I got the French toast breakfast special ($5.50!) and was very satisfied! I'd definitely tell friends about this restaurant :)

Very nice low-key family type restaurant with all the choices for breakfast and lunch that you could need. You are never rushed and it is nice and casual.

If you come here I'd recommend you stick with foods that don't spoil or are likely to be coming straight from the freezer. My mom and I both had tuna salad sandwiches and both had the runs later in the day. My sister had fried fish and was fine. I'm thinking someone left the tuna salad outside the fridge for too long or maybe it was made too many days ago. Might also have been the potato salad we had as a side and which tasted way off. Sis had French fries. Those are a safer bet if you're eating lunch here.

Today the hubs and I went to the Maitland Breakfast Club - He had Breakfast and I had lunch. Before I delve into the review just wanted to mention this restaurant is in the City limits of Altamonte Springs- Owners, if you are reading this, that's a little confusing. We live downtown and were okay venturing to Maitland but Altamonte?? Anyway..back to the review. This restaurant is located in a very quiet strip mall. It's quiet on Sundays I should clarify, it might be more crowded on the weekends. We walked in and sat down. The place had a nice crowd. Menus were given and our drink order taken almost immediately. The menu was clean and clear to understand and had a lot of variety My husband had the country fried steak and I had the club sandwich. My husband said his meal was a-ok and I have to say my club was one of the best and freshest I've ever had. Avocado and sprouts were perfect. The main reason I deducted one star is because the ambience leaves much to be desired. I know that sounds harsh. It was basically one giant room with tile floor, there were tables and booths. Some commercial artwork hung un-thoughtfully and there was no music. That was my complaint with the other "Breakfast Club"..add some smooth jazz or something.....I'm not a big fan of carpet but something should be done for all of the noise. Like I said - Giant Room, tile floor, sterile looking furnishings..people eating and talking....I like something more warm and inviting. That being said, menu was great, the service was top notch and the the food is definitely solid. If they invested a little bit in an aesthetic makeover, it would be 5 stars imho.

No fancy decoration, seats or tables but the breakfast served at this place is excellent and the prices are good too! We stayed a couple of days just off the I-4 in one of the hotels there and found this breakfast place on Yelp. It's really worth the 5 min. drive from let say the I-4 exit hotel area to here.

Not as sanitary as we'd hoped. The food I'd good and cheap but dirty napkins and water cups with containing food particals made us really worried. If our waitress wasn't so rude and we had clean items we would have definately rated them with a 4. I recommend sitting to the left side after entering. We had service here before and the waitress in that section is great (long red hair). Steer clear of the blonde with the nose piercing.

Four stars for the category & style of this location. Busy busy but could be a little tidier but ...straight forward diner esk friendly fast simply done groceries. True break-fast club beside quest diagnostic making it easy to grab a quick bite after your fasting for tests. Moms kitchen for breakfast lunch with take out as well. Great prices good portions and super friendly team makes this place a comfy go to when you just need a no frills bite to eat.

This is a great local diner. Great servers and great tasting food. Customers here know servers by name and it feels good to walk in and be recognized by the staff. We have been coming here for over a year now and seen the great remodeling that they just completed this year. This place is has some great menu items. My favorites are the Daylight Scramble and French toast platter. Home cooked feel with great prices.

Maitland Breakfast Club is truly a gem!! The food was phenomenal & the prices so reasonable!! I ordered the Country Fried Steak breakfast & it came with 2 eggs, choice of potatoes, & an English muffin. I saw hash browns on someone else's plate as it went by & I'll get those next time for sure but the home fries were good. The country fried steak was superb!!! It was actually better than Cracker Barrel's & I was pleasantly surprised!! Plus, get this, it was $7.65 for all that!!! My mom ordered the French toast meal & it was 4 pieces of fluffy challah French toast with 2 eggs & bacon. My mom said it was the best French toast she's had in a very long time anywhere! There are 2 reasons why I can't give this restaurant 5 stars: #1-my breakfast was served 6 minutes before my mom's & I literally asked 2 different servers to check on it. One server went in the back then came out & started counting money rather than making eye contact with me & at least acknowledge it will be right out. Our server walked by & said, "Oh, you still don't have your French Toast?" as she walked over & took another guest's order. As she walked past again I asked her if she could go check it out. Finally, a minute later she brought it out. My mother said it was worth the wait & it's not then end of the world but I am a firm believer in food being delivered at the same time. I guess since its a small establishment they figure just bring out the good that is ready but I don't really agree. #2-our waitress had sooooo much perfume on that when she walked by I could actually taste it. Literally. I am someone who thinks servers should not have cologne or perfume on but that's neither here nor there, but if you are wearing it...can you not bathe in it please?! So, these two small problems were unfortunate but the food is totally deserving of five stars.

My new favorite breakfast spot! FINALLY a place that knows how to cook potatoes! No mushy bland home fries, here! It's still a diner, but it's a step up in my opinion. The servers are all great and friendly and there's usually a booth open. The prices are good and they use FRESH veggies here... Most diners that I've been to are lackluster in that department. The Club Sandwich is A+!! Comes with sprouts AND fresh avocado. Just writing about it makes me want one! I feel like the food here is just a bit fresher than typical diner fair which is great. Looking over their Yelp pics, it looks like they've gone through a remodel at some point. It's pretty utilitarian inside, but with lots of natural light and there is usually a booth open when we go so that's nice. It's spacious and open. The food comes out super quick, too. Some dishes are better than others, but all in all, I love it here.

I love this diner. I'm always tempted by the lunch specials however a healthy portion of eggs benedict or country fried steak get me every time. Quick service, large portions and tasty food keep me coming back.

The boy and I actually had a Sunday together where we could get some brunch and slip into a food coma after. After much debate over all of the wonderful yuppie brunch establishments in Orlando, we settled on First Watch. After all, so many eggs benedict choices and many scrambles! However, it just wasn't in the cards for us. Read: I wasn't going to wait 40 minutes just to get a table. So what next? Keke's across the street? Aside from thinking that their menu is the exact opposite of First Watch (i.e. First Watch focuses on more hearty breakfasts that are savory and Keke's wants to make french toasts and pancakes covered in fruit and sugar), I just didn't want to wait nearly an hour for a table and I could see people lined up outside there as well. So we Yelped a little bit and found what seemed to be a little mom and pop diner right around the corner from our house. I wanted something a little more than the standard eggs-bacon-toast breakfast but was pleasantly surprised when I saw their menu. The boyfriend went with the Crown Turkey, a huge omelet with turkey, spinach and a few other ingredients. I went with a make-your-own omelet that I smothered in hollandaise sauce. Everything was delicious, the service was on-point and we spend half of what we would have spent elsewhere. In a pinch, this place does the trick! I'm looking forward to coming back.

Loved...i mean LOOOOOVED this little diner. It was so delicious! I had the Scrambled Eggs over a Croissant with Hollandaise sauce, and I just have to say, it was so yummy! The biscuits are great, I didn't take them with gravy, since I'm not a fan of that, but the butter was soft and not refrigerated like a lot of ofther places. Oh, the service, super fast and the waitress was so nice. They all have this Sons of Anarchy series look that I just love!
(5)
Dan S.
The best little diner in town. Warm and friendly. Did a recent remodel that really opens the place up. Great prices also, just love this little home away from home. Insider tip, if you're feeling indulgent give the croissant special a try. If healthy is the way you want to go, just order off menu. They'll take good care of you!

We just had a wonderful breakfast at Maitland Breakfast Club. The place isn't fancy nor is the food but that's what makes this little mom and pop restaurant stand out. I had the Country Fried Steak and eggs which was cooked nicely and had a delicious gravy to go with it. Our server, Lisa, was divine. She was extremely nice, checked on us multiple times, and even made small conversation with us when she could. We definitely plan on coming back and will ask for Lisa.

Pros: delicious breakfast food, cheap without sacrificing quality, friendly wait service Cons: the tables, the wait can be long (typically after church hours on Sunday) Tip: get a booth, the New Orleans sandwich and "diced" are my two go tos

I had a burger that had sauteed mushrooms and melted cheese. It was very juicy and extremely tasty. I'd definitely eat there again.

I've been here a few times and maybe I just have a knack for ordering mediocre dishes but my experience was just okay. This last time I got the florentine Benedict and it just wasn't working. The spinach was the shredded frozen stuff, the avocado was past its prime and seeing as how that's 2/3 of what's on the muffin it really was a bit of a left down. That being said everyone else's food looked great. Omelets and French toast got positive compliments from my friends so I'm chalking this up to me just ordering the runt of the menu litter. Overall I'd say it's worth giving another chance but definitely stay away from the florentine Benedict. The place looks nice after the renovation, service was wonderful and my coffee was always topped off. Hopefully my next visit will yield a better food experience but this far, all my visits are pretty consistent with a 3 star overall rating.

For $5.50 breakfast specials, Breakfast Club will be hard to top. Simple fare, nice setting, decent service. I got there shortly after they opened and sat right down and placed my order. I plan to go back and try their lunch. The powdered French Toast was great but please turn down the A/C in FEB, Club. It makes the food cold faster.

We will be coming back here in the future with family and friends for breakfast outings. It's not extravagant. It's not presented beautifully or artistically on the plate. What it IS is home cooking with a flare and great portion sizes. We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by one server walking by and then another. "mornin' y'all". "Sit wherever you like". As long as there are empty tables, there's no waiting. Just sit. It didn't take long before the place filled up and we got there at 9:25am before the church crowds let out. The menu is full of breakfast and lunch standards. Some traditional and some a little more adventurous. My kiddo got the Mickey Mouse Pancake and enjoyed the grapes for eyes and strawberry nose. It had a dot of whipped cream on each ear which she promptly gobbled up first. I ordered the Gravy Dream omelet. It was bursting with fillings and had gravy on top like you'd find on an order of biscuits and gravy. It came with a choice of side (hash browns, home fries, grits) and choice of toast or English muffin. Service was great. My coffee never got cold or low within my mug. As we ate, I'd notice servers greeting several others at the door by name and that shows that there is definitely a regular crowd that has been coming by this place for some time. I'm a huge fan of First Watch and Keke's but when you're not in the mood to spend $30+ for two people for breakfast on some days, I recommend Maitland Breakfast Club. It's breakfast, people! Eggs, bacon, toast and such. Having been a former chef and taken part in pricing menus so the business can survive, I'll never understand where some places get off charging so much money for simple ingredients. The markup in some places is terrible. Maitland Breakfast Club is very fair in their pricing in comparison to all the chain brunch places around. Gone are the days of the .99 cent breakfast my father always managed to find around town but this is the next best thing. Give it a try. I'm glad we did.

I enjoyed the breakfast but the service and decor are pretty bad. My wife and 2 boys went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I agree with many of the other reviewers, the decor is just not pleasing to look at. The restaurant is a large, tiled room with reasonably clean booths and tables throughout the middle. The art on the wall hurts more than it helps and it does not feel like you have much privacy while you are eating. We got coffee and water quickly, but that was the only coffee and water we got. The waitress came by two more times, once to put in our orders and once to drop off the food with the check. The food was good. My wife had the Flamingo which she liked a lot. I had the polish sausage and eggs, which was a nice change of pace for a breakfast out. My one son had the yogurt parfait. The mixture of fruit is odd in there. It had watermelons, apples, strawberries, and grapes all topped with a strawberry yogurt. However, it passed muster for a 2 year old. I really wish the service would have been better because I would have liked to have tried a couple of the omelettes on the menu, but I'm a big coffee drinker. One cup of coffee will just not cut it.

I read multiple reviews here and decided to eat here while in the area on vacation. Don't believe the hype eggs from a carton that didn't taste very good over AND undercooked home fries. Poor decor. I will not be returning here ever again. the price was decent for sub sub par food.

Wanted to try a different breakfast place, read some reviews, and gave it a try. I've come to expect a very inadequate and sub-par selection of delectable local breakfast spots in Orlando, however today would prove to be contrary to that notion. As we entered, we were surprised to see every single table, and booth filled despite its odd location (a medical strip mall plaza). Anyway, looking over the menu, I was surprised to see the varied selections offered...(even had crepes!) I went with Eggs Benedict Florentine, and damn it was good! Came beautifully prepared in a ceramic skillet with a light dust of paprika to contrast the Hollandaise sauce. The egg was perfectly poached and the sauce was delicately applied, not drowning the meal, as some places do. The home fries were real potatoes, peeled and chopped in house, (not frozen, sadly done more often than you think), with nice flavors; not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst. My wife went with her standard breakfast meal of biscuits and gravy, which she was very happy to find that the gravy was not watered down, and that they used "real" sausage, and not a flavoring base. My daughter chose the Belgian waffle with strawberries! Damn...that was one gigantic waffle! Could easily pass for a "family size!" However, being so big didn't affect the taste at all (that's what she said!!) All in all, a nice enjoyable meal with generous portions.....will most likely be back!

I found this place after fasting for blood work at Quest diagnostics which is right next door. I had the Mediterranean omelet and my husband chose the Fresco melt. Both were extraordinary. Thank you for the great food, friendly atmosphere and service.

We were here years ago when it was a sleepy little Sunday afternoon brunch hangout. It was our secret spot until an article in the local paper a couple years ago gave them the publicity needed to become a hugely successful breakfast restaurant. They updated the seating and decor but it still feels like a classic 60s or 70s dinner. Good food, decent prices, and friendly wait staff keeps the local Sunday church crowd coming back for more.

No frills, straight forward old school diner breakfast experience. What more could I ask for?! How about a waitress that wears her spectacles so far removed from her face that if a stiff breeze blows by, it may blow them off the tip of her nose. The glasses defy gravity and all the rules of science. And for that, I am greatful....and kind of turned on. I think I discovered a new fetish. Oh, the foods great too.

Christine R.
The food was great. My boyfriend got the chicken friend steak with eggs and hash browns and it said it was amazing. I got the Turkey Club with Avocado on Rye and it was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was awful. The waitress was super stressed out and pretty much shaking. Our table was dirty, we never actually got menus...I had to take them from another table. My boyfriend had to ask for coffee 3 times and this was after 15 minutes of waiting for her to come by our table to ask. We finally ordered our food 30 minutes after sitting down and didn't get our food until 45 minutes in. I would not blame this on the waitress, but whomever makes the schedule. Breakfast and lunch are busy and a lot of people like to get togo orders. 2 waitresses cannot check out people, take togo orders, put the orders together, take care of over 25 tables and bus the tables in a timely fashion. They need to make sure there is someone at the counter and two people on the floor and probably a busser. I will go again because the food was great and the employees were very nice, but I think the owners need to realize they need more hands on deck.

Great breakfast! I had the gravy lovers omelet, don't let the name fool you it's not covered in gravy but there's a good amount, service was great the dark haired woman treated us very well! Lots of regulars. Definitely good enough for a try

Maitland Breakfast Club is super cute from the staff's personality to the other folks that sit around you! The location is perfect. A close enough to get too, but hidden enough that it's not uber crowded Sunday mornings. The restaurant itself is regular, nothing super fancy. But what really made my experience memorable was the staff and the food! All the ladies that helped us out were very thoughtful and attentive. In regards to the food, they offer the basic breakfast foods from oatmeal and toast to egg benedict and waffles, all of which were good. Let's just say I'm really glad my friend suggested Maitland Breakfast Club for our Sunday Funday Breakfast! What a great way to start your day!

My wife and I went to the MAITLAND BREAKFAST CLUB for my Birthday Breakfast on March 28, 2014. The service was exceptional. It was our first time. My co-worker Patrick recommended this place. We drove all the way from Orlando International Airport area and we were not disappointed. Great portions, great value. We would come again and again. One of our favorite Breakfast restaurants (Clarkie's on Orange Avenue) closed. So we have been searching. The search is over!! It's Monday, March 31. I just looked over my checking account. The restaurant pulled $49, instead of $20. The server that answered the phone wanted me to drive all the way back to their restaurant to resolve this mistake. I asked to deliver the message to the server from Friday. Standing by for her call.

10 out of 10. Kids loved their Micky pancakes. Country fried steak, hash browns, toast, and eggs were cooked to perfection. Server used our names and was on top of her game without being overbearing. This is our new breakfast spot.

We are very regular at this family owned place and I absolutely love their delicious food. Best egg Benedict in the area. I love the Florentine kind and I also add a side of turkey in it. Yum. They also have great fresh daily soups and sandwiches. Very friendly staff, very quiet relaxing atmosphere.

This is my favorite local spot for breakfast. The food and service are always wonderful, and the menu is extensive. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at, but it has a nice welcoming feel to it. The blueberry pancakes and veggie omelet (minus the celery) are personal favorites.

When we arrived our waitress spilled coffee on our table, after that we noticed lipstick on one of our coffee mugs. The food was mediocre and our order was incorrect. The staff was definitely on their A game.

LOVE this place. Food is consistently great and the staff is great. We feel like family here. They recently remodeled and it looks great. Wonderful food, staff, everything.

I stumbled upon this little gem when I was next door at Quest getting lab work done. I had to fast for the labs and my appt wasn't until 9:15 so by the time I got done I was starving and had a caffeine headache from hell. Everyone at the restaurant was very friendly, the food was awesome and the prices were very cheap! I will definitely be back.

Great prices good food as long as you don't eat the meat. The chicken ham and turkey were not very good.

We have eaten here twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. The breakfast was better than the experience we had at lunch. The owner certainly hasn't spent anything on fixing the place up as it has an old, used look to the place that isn't very appealing. When we arrived the place was half empty so don't understand why we had to clean off our own table while the waitress stood there and watched. Also the service was very slow. Took 20 minutes to get out meals which weren't anything that would take any time. Never got a refill on our drinks or offer of one until we were walking out the door. It took 20 minutes to get biscuits and gravy and a sandwich. My husband said the gravy was really good. I had the Reuben which was good but nothing special. The fries that came with it were lukewarm and hard. Our first visit I had the country fried chicken which was good. Everybody was happy with their meals at that visit. The breakfast price was good, lunch about average from any other fast food or diner. Another customer at the table next to us asked if she could substitute the side. The waitress said no but you can pay for it and get them both and then walked off. I really didn't see the friendliness of the staff that I read from other reviews. Maybe we just hit an off day. I really felt our experience deserved 2 stars but since the breakfast was decent on our first visit I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Doubt I would be back.

Real half and half on the table, servers who enjoy witty banter, and steel-cut oats with banana and brown sugar, including an English muffin, for under $3? Gotta be one of the classic breakfast joints, and it's named for a classic 80's movie. The soundtrack does not disappoint. I'm almost surprised that their phone number isn't 867-5309 (though their actual phone number is easy to remember if you've memorized the password for the free wifi).

Seems like a place only the locals know about. Friendly and attentive waitresses. Food was good. Had the Daylight Scramble and the Original Oatmeal. Both excellent. Sorry no pics :-( Maybe next time :-)

First, kudos to the owners of a breakfast restaurant for figuring out that a low-rent area next to a Quest diagnostics clinic that requires fasting bloodwork is a great place for a breakfast/brunch restaurant! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, but they were out of biscuits so I ended up with toast and gravy instead. No worries, it was still really good, as were their eggs, hash-browns, and grits. There is no better way to celebrate hopefully passing a cholesterol blood test than with a southern fried breakfast.

This is our go to place for breakfast. Large portions and great prices. All the waitresses are friendly but we really like Christina. Great coffee and you get plenty. You will feel like you are part of a larger family.

The food looks great. Our own photos present delicious looking breakfast plates. Though, the fact is we will not return. We tried the Gravy Dream (husband had a few bites and gave up. Disappointing. Bland gravy), Chicken Pecan salad (mustard dressing a bit gluey) and our son had pancakes with eggs & sausage (there was another review I read about crispy pancakes and that's accurate. Dry, salty, pancakes). Would not recommend.

I wouldn't necessarily come again. Go to Panera 30 seconds away. I'd pay more for keke's or first watch or even ihop. Coffee was noticeably generic to the point of being below mediocre. Grits were plain with absolutely no salt no nothing, same as Quaker instant. Even when I asked for cheese to be put on it, still was the worst grits I've had, Quaker actually might have more salt. The actual breakfast I had was biscuits and gravy with 2 over easy eggs and home fries. It was your standard super thick gravy you can make from the packet, biscuits might have been homemade but couldn't tell from the bland thick gravy it was swimming in. Eggs were real but again plain with absolutely no seasoning. There was some good grilling on a couple of pieces of the home fries. The only good thing I can say about this place. Very sad. I'd only come here if I was way too lazy to make food at home and the Panera 30 seconds away was somehow closed......on second thought no I wouldn't come back and spend money on food that I have at home and can even make better.

I liked the Maitland Breakfast Club but I wasn't blown away. The place definitely has that neighborhood feel where everyone knows one another and I'm sure there are lots of regulars. The owner was very friendly and came out to say Hi like we'd been longtime friends! The restaurant is pretty run down inside. There is lots of trim missing, the walls and floors look worn and it just feels sticky. The food took a bit long to come too, and I noticed a lot of people waiting but no one was in a hurry so it didn't matter too much. My food was just good, nothing special. For you grits purists, they make their grits with milk so they are creamy but definitely not the Southern way to do things. The bacon was REALLY good, light and crispy with the perfect combination of fat and meat. We had some pancakes too which again, were just OK. Prices were very reasonable (3 meals with drinks for right around $25) but the best thing about this place was the friendliness of the staff. Our server was great but I still think I'd prefer to get my breakfast fix at Peach Valley or even First Watch.

I saw this place in City Magazine (Altamonte Springs) 10 Best Breakfast joints in Altamonte, Maitland, and Longwood, and thought we would give it a try. When we walked in there was one family a head of us. We waited and waited and someone offered us coffee, and then people came in behind us. It was obvious from the way the regulars walked in, walked right by us as if we were not waiting and looked for tables that they usually don't have the kind of business that they did today. They were not prepared. There was no waiting list and after we were seated we saw some heated words exchanged when a family ran in and took a table when another family had been waiting for it for about 30 minutes. They should have been prepared for the crowd after being featured. The coffee was not horrible but it wasn't great. I found myself using more cream than usual. The food was OK. Again, not wonderful. My over medium eggs were closer to over easy (a little too runny for my taste) and my pancakes were.. CRISPY? I don't quite know why or how they managed to crisp my pancakes, but I didn't finish them, and I am part of the clean plate club! The decor of the place looks like an old Chinese resturant that was converted, but they kept the same style. It was odd. Overall, I would give this place a MEH... However we decided in a few weeks we are going to go back. Hopefully they will have their act together or business will slow back down.

Just finished having breakfast at Maitland's and I must say it was excellent. I had the croissant sandwich and it was awesome. They are really busy but the service is good and the food comes quick. I definitely recommend this place.

I'm a regular here! This is the best small-town, Mom and Pop-owned place in the area. The hours are 6;30am - 2:30pm and the menu is very similar to the more well known "First Watch" restaurants, but the personal touch is what really makes it! If you want breakfast, they've got it and it's going to set you up for a great day ahead. Everything from Oatmeal to Omelets and Crepes to Biscuits and Gravy or French Toast. There are "healthy" selections too for those watching there waist line or their health. The lunches are great too and my favorite thing ever is that every other Friday they spotlight an Indian Cuisine lunch special. This is savory and truly makes me look forward to the next "Indian Day". Kudos to Raj and his wife and the amazing Lisa, Christine and Sandy (the servers) for a job well done. The place is old, in a strip mall a block off of 436 and not very easily found if you don't know it's there but the full parking lot is testimony that those who have found it continue to go back! There are lots of regulars that I see all of the time. It's got a "Cheers" sort of feeling to it! Oh, there is no kids menu, but ask about the kid options. There are also great daily specials on the back of the menu!

It is simply the best. local, authentic diner, serving up great eggs, hash browns, perfect pancakes, great sausage, excellent crepes, delicious omelettes (hit it with the sw sauce), and a fine cup of coffee. Definitely a twice monthly treat for our family, every month from now on.

A good, friendly diner just off of 436. A good variety of breakfast and lunch items. The salads are gigantic and really fill you up! The service is friendly and efficient. An eclectic atmosphere, I guess it used to be a Thai restaurant, and they didn't invest in changing the decor.

Decent meal, but nothing special. Had biscuits and gravy, but the gravy needed more flavor. Hash browns were solid though.

Found this place by accident on my lunch break one day. You can easily miss this place if you don't know what you're looking for, but it is so worth it when finding! I have recently moved out of the country, and I can not wait to be back in Florida and have brunch at my favorite place. The service is great, very friendly staff and the food does not disappoint; neither does the coffee. Just be sure to never go on a busy holiday because you will wait for up to two hours. Although it is worth the wait, its better to go on weekdays if you can. Love Maitland Breakfast Club!

Well My Father Has Always Enjoyed Their Western Omelette. So after a Visit To Quest Next Door My Sister and Myself Stopped In To Get One For Him. I Had Talked My Sister For Us To Take Time For Ourselves To Have Breakfast There While Waiting For Dad's To Be Ready. / So My Issues Are Many So Here We Go / Not Enough On The Floor Help As The Single Waitress Was Waiting Tables, Busing Tables, Making Coffee, Being A Cashier Plus Doing Pick Up Orders For The Urber Drivers ( Who I Should Add Were One The Clock ) And They Had To Wait. As I Said The Issues Are That The Owners Do Not Have Enough Staff On The Clock. They Were Very Busy! It Took An Hour For Us To Get Our Breakfast And Get My Fathers Omelette, And Mom's French Toast. Waitress Was So Busy That We Sat There For quite Some Spell With No Coffee Refills ( Again Not Waitress Fault) We Were Charged 4.00 Each For Single Order Of Bacon and Single Order Of Sausage Patty Which I Thought Would Have Placed Inside The Omelette And Not As A Side Dish. We Will Not Be Back ,But If The Owners Want To Keep The Repeat Customers That They Now Have They Should Go In Some Morning And See How Hard The Under Staffed Waitress Has To Work In Order To Do The Massive Job They Have To Do So You Can Pocket A Profit Off Of Their Back Breaking Work. Bless The Staff and Shame On The Owner Of What Was A Nice Place To Go After Fasting For My Blood Test at Quest Lab Next Door. We Will Never Be Back, Casselberry Breakfast Club Here We Come. Everyone Take Care And PLEASE be Smart and Careful While You Are Out In Public Areas.

(4)Meredith B.

Most excellent eggs florentine. When we walked in we were warmly greeted. The staff was upbeat and cheerful, the service fast and the food delicious.

(4)Kady W.
(4)Jeremy G.
(4)Nancy P.
The food is okay and the service was par. We waited awhile for the server to give us our bill, pay and get it back. I don't think I will return there. Sorry. It wasn't that busy the day I went.
(3)Jennifer R.
My friend and I stopped in on a Saturday late morning and were happy to find an immediate seat and great food. The service was fast and the food was quite good! Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be a regular and knew the staff by name. Definitely check this little spot out!
(4)Kevin K.
Good food, friendly staff, great prices - the only reason I'm giving this location 3 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness in the dining area. Dust and stains on the window sills and walls - makes me wonder what the kitchen is like.
(3)Rick M.

This was a tough review to sort out. I visited for a late breakfast on my way to visit my Grandfather in the hospital so I was looking for a hearty breakfast and they certainly delivered. However, as other reviewers have mentioned - the décor and service are nothing to write home about. I arrived a bit after 11 am on a weekday, so I was a bit after the breakfast crowd but before the worst of lunch. The restaurant is seat yourself, which can be lovely, but I was a little disappointed to find a number of empty tables overflowing with dirty dishes. I hung about at the front waiting for them to be cleared and must have confused one of the servers terribly, as she kept telling me "wherever you like" and finally was near enough for me to answer "Um, nothing seems to be clean". Maybe I'm just prissy but I have no interest in sitting at table full of someone else's dishes and then waiting for the server to come clear it off. Once seated, there was a bit of a wait to order and for my food, but I did wonder perhaps if I'd annoyed them by not wanting to buss my own table. Regardless - the food added another star to what would have been a decidedly two star experience. I went with the Crown Turkey omelet. My server made a point of saying that it was what the Orlando Sentinel reviewer had raved about. I had no idea what review she was talking about but smiled and nodded. The omelet was divine - smoked turkey and spinach inside, a very good hollandaise, diced tomatoes and Jack cheese outside. It reminded me of an even better version of an old favorite from First Watch that they no longer offer. The rye toast was good - but toast. But their house potatoes were lovely - slices just thick enough, tender, but with some really nicely brown and toasty bits from sitting on the griddle. I did have some trouble finding my server to request a drink refill, which seemed odd since the entire restaurant is one large room. I made eye contact with two other servers, but maybe they just weren't feeling the team spirit that day because no one asked if I needed anything. If I lived in Orlando, I would have visited a second time before reviewing, but unfortunately I can't see making a 2 hour drive (one-way) just to give this place a second chance. The food was really very good, but perhaps not enough to make up for the messy restaurant and half-hearted service.

(4)Scott B.
Very nice low-key family type restaurant with all the choices for breakfast and lunch that you could need. You are never rushed and it is nice and casual.
(4)Geoff R.

(4)Robert K.
(5)Ah-Lawn-Ugh M.

(4)Elisa G.

(4)Crystal H.
(4)Holly K.
I love this diner. I'm always tempted by the lunch specials however a healthy portion of eggs benedict or country fried steak get me every time. Quick service, large portions and tasty food keep me coming back.
(4)Heather L.

(5)Dan S.

(5)Derrick W.
Pros: delicious breakfast food, cheap without sacrificing quality, friendly wait service Cons: the tables, the wait can be long (typically after church hours on Sunday) Tip: get a booth, the New Orleans sandwich and "diced" are my two go tos
(4)Leslie S.

Thanks Yelp for helping us find this place. Great service and the food is so good! Had the eggs Benedict Florentine so freaking good. Best I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.
(5)Jennifer G.
My husband and I came on on a Tuesday morning. We were told to seat ourselves. We had the Crown Turkey and Spicy Chicken omelette with biscuits and hashbrowns. The coffee was hot and our cups were always full. We'll definitely return soon!
(5)Luz V.
Best brunch ever!!! Perfect spot for a Sunday family breakfast. Friendly staff! A lot more and delicious than the price. Will be my favorite spot from now on!
(5)Shaina G.
Food is always great and they have some really awesome options that you can get anywhere else. Two of my favorites are the Turkey Dill and Gravy Dream. They are family owned and operated and the owners are super friendly.
(4)Aimee D.
Every Friday homemade chicken, tuna salad on a flaky croissant and a choice of fries, or onion rings. Yum, im there !! Only $6.50 Let them know you saw the review
(5)Christina S.
Really good breakfast nook. Very diner like with solid food. Affordable prices with good portions. We had eggs Benedict, pancakes, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, bacon and avocado. All was fresh and very good. The ladies there were super nice. We all agreed we would return.
(4)Mary M.
The service was quick and super friendly. Three of us had full breakfasts an a side of biscuits and gravy and it was $30. Very tasty. I will return.

Maitland club sandwish, add egg and extra mayo. It was awesome. Service was friendly and super fast.

(1)Donna T.
You are going to love this place as long as you're not looking for anything special. Good, cheap eats. The service does leave alot to be desired. Go here if you are hungry but too lazy to make it yourself.
(4)Nikki H.
First time here this morning and it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent service and good food.

(4)Melanie S.
I found this place after fasting for blood work at Quest diagnostics which is right next door. I had the Mediterranean omelet and my husband chose the Fresco melt. Both were extraordinary. Thank you for the great food, friendly atmosphere and service.
(5)Jay M.
(5)John A.
Picked local breakfast spot on a whim. Excellent food and great service.
(5)Sylvester T.
Wonderful locally owned eatery. My first time here, but I will be coming back
(5)Juan P.
Very very good price and service. Clean and feels like the staff is family. Food is great and the cup of coffee was never empty. I can get use to it and be there every weekend. My wife loves it too. 100%
(5)Mike S.
(4)Christine R.
(3)Christopher R.
Great breakfast! I had the gravy lovers omelet, don't let the name fool you it's not covered in gravy but there's a good amount, service was great the dark haired woman treated us very well! Lots of regulars. Definitely good enough for a try
(4)Charms J.
(4)James D.

(5)Natalia H.
(5)Rebecca V.
This is my favorite local spot for breakfast. The food and service are always wonderful, and the menu is extensive. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at, but it has a nice welcoming feel to it. The blueberry pancakes and veggie omelet (minus the celery) are personal favorites.
(4)Sarah P.
When we arrived our waitress spilled coffee on our table, after that we noticed lipstick on one of our coffee mugs. The food was mediocre and our order was incorrect. The staff was definitely on their A game.
(2)Beth F.
LOVE this place. Food is consistently great and the staff is great. We feel like family here. They recently remodeled and it looks great. Wonderful food, staff, everything.
(5)Thelma C.
(5)Michael M.
Great prices good food as long as you don't eat the meat. The chicken ham and turkey were not very good.
(3)Cheryl P.
(3)Lisa P.
Very clean, Very helpful and friendly staff. Good food!
(3)Ben O.
(5)Ma H.
Seems like a place only the locals know about. Friendly and attentive waitresses. Food was good. Had the Daylight Scramble and the Original Oatmeal. Both excellent. Sorry no pics :-( Maybe next time :-)
(5)Daniel M.
(4)Manny H.
This is our go to place for breakfast. Large portions and great prices. All the waitresses are friendly but we really like Christina. Great coffee and you get plenty. You will feel like you are part of a larger family.
(4)Heather C.
(2)Angela S.
(2)Janene H.
(3)Kelley O.
Good down-home southern service & great food with reasonable prices!
(5)Laura V.
(2)Alfredo L.
Just finished having breakfast at Maitland's and I must say it was excellent. I had the croissant sandwich and it was awesome. They are really busy but the service is good and the food comes quick. I definitely recommend this place.
(5)Melinda M.

Great breakfast fast service good coffee
(4)Geoffrey P.
(5)Marci M.
A good, friendly diner just off of 436. A good variety of breakfast and lunch items. The salads are gigantic and really fill you up! The service is friendly and efficient. An eclectic atmosphere, I guess it used to be a Thai restaurant, and they didn't invest in changing the decor.
(3)Bill K.
Decent meal, but nothing special. Had biscuits and gravy, but the gravy needed more flavor. Hash browns were solid though.
(3)Jessica S.
(5)Big J P.
Being from Houston on spring break I found this through yelp and this was one great breakfast spot. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and have great food.
