Great atmosphere, great pizza- enough said. Also try the sweet potato fries loaded with chili and cheese!

Friendly service, amazing food, and a relaxed atmosphere makes Downstairs at Eric's one of my favorite stops when I am in the area. I spent this past weekend in Copper mountain but decided to drive 25 min to get to Eric's. We had a large party, about 10, and they were very quick to get us seated and get our food going. The appetizers were up and ready before we even got talking about the Weekend activities and as soon as we polished those off, we got all 4 of the pizzas that we ordered up. I think I have only found one place that can top Eric's pizza but there is one pizza that Eric's does that no one else can touch, and that is the Buffalo Chicken pizza. If you are in the area, Definitely, definitely, definitely stop in and enjoy.

I had the garbage pizza on a wheat garlic crust. It was very good, but I wouldn't consider it the best pizza ever. The atmosphere is excellent, very laid back and very ski-bum friendly.

Has great service and has alot of items to pick from. The arcade is a bonus with the restaurant, so while you wait you can play old time pinball to new racing games.

Eric's is a basement arcade, and a good place to take kids if you have a group. Families are mostly the clientele when I've visited: the place is loud, busy, claustrophobic and always has a long wait. The food is mediocre, with pizza being the safest choice.

An original place with quite good food, efficient but not warm and attentive service. Surprisingly low noise for such a large and busy place.

If I'm spending one night, and one night only in Breckenridge, Colorado, I am going to Downstairs at Eric's. If I could pick a bar and stick it anywhere in the world and make it my bar, it would be Downstair's at Eric's. If you're looking for a restaurant/bar/arcade that is good for couples, small groups, big groups, kids, adults, adults who are still kids, etc., your place to go is Downstair's at Eric's. The pizza, is well, the only thing you should get here. It's good. We'll leave it at that. The sports bar is great. I've been here during many times of the year, and multiple times during March Madness. This is a great place to go with many TVs with every sports game on that you want. Are you sitting by a table without your team? Don't worry, they'll change the channel for you. The place is FUN and a GREAT evening for anybody of any age and maturity level. Want a GREAT evening out? Go HERE! Disclosure: I do not work for Downstairs at Eric's, but I would if I was a ski bum in Breckenridge!

Being tired and worn out from drinking white russians and shredding double blacks all day, me and some buddies decide to roll into town and grab a bite to eat. As I walk in, I set my eyes upon an arcade room...Cruisin' USA just to mention one of the many awesome games. Get the BPD burger, it comes fully loaded with bacon, cheese, onion rings and whatever else you want. I was thinking about throwing some pepperoni and fried pickles but didn't own up to it. Maybe a fried egg? Double Gu. Washed it down with pitcher of Blue Moon for 8 bucks. We walked out of the restaurant happy with money in my wallet, delicious food in my stomach, and about 10 dollars change from the arcade. All in all, it was an awesome day.

Basically a laid back bar. Good place, ok to decent food and a fun place to hang out.

I picked up a giant takeout order for our condo. Although the place was mobbed for new years, they got our order completely right and my chicken sandwich was great after a day on the slopes.

We had a good lunch there and decided to go again another night for dinner. I ordered the Olive Oil pizza both visits and it was inconsistent! I was a lil disappointed. My first visit the pizza was delicious but during my 2nd visit it was missing some ingredients and it just didn't taste the same! My friends ordered the burger again during our 2nd visit and it was a reheated one. They were bummed! It was kind of confusing to us - we are guessing that the cook left for the day the night we went for dinner! But overall the menu selection is large and you can get a decent meal and prices are very reasonable. Large beer selection too :) and they have an arcade area for you to pay and play while you wait for your table. *Bonus - lots of flat screen tvs around the dining area!!

Pizza was great, delicious, fresh and worth the wait. After a long day of skiing we just took a walk down main street, played some games in the arcade and went home happy.

Visited in October to watch football - on two different nights. Definitely the place to watch sports in Breckenridge. Had the wings - they were very good and hot. Had the blue cheese burger with my wife. The burger was dry and the blue cheese was at best Kraft. On the second visit, had the pizza which I thought was about average. Go for the viewing, not the food. However, I can definitely recommend it for families.

I guess I've been fortunate to have eaten at nearly all of the best pizza joints in NYC/Brooklyn, Fireside Pies in Dallas, and Giordanno's in Chicago - I was really excited to try the pizza here after the rave reviews, but the pizza was honestly just par - maybe the best in Breckenridge as it's the only place we tried, but I would take Papa John's and possibly Pizza Hut over this place. We ordered the Garbage pizza and Olive pizza - Garbage had pepperoni and veggies, while the Olive pizza was tomatoes (no sauce) with veggies - all pan style.

It's more about the atmosphere than the food... don't get me wrong they have a great pizza. But I'm not sure it's worth a 2 1/2 hour wait.

all the standard food and booze you want. Giant tvs everywhere - I watched MLB all star game!

Great place for casual dining. Excellent prices. Pizza hits the spot after a day in the mountains. Highly recommended.

For what this place is (a sports bar with TVs everywhere and pizza and burgers), Eric's is awesome. The food is 100% consistently good value, and it's always good. Just be prepared NOT to have the gourmet experience of your life as it's a sports bar. Kids will LOVE this place if they can wait it out in the arcade in the lobby area, which is full of great games. It's a good family place. Be prepared to WAIT WAIT WAIT. Tables can sometimes take more than an hour. Takeout is a good option, pizza is good there, don't miss the honey for your crust. Service at Eric's is the best, sadly, but true, in Breckenridge. Always friendly. Unlike the rest of town. If you want a good value lunch or dinner, this place is really a good option. Others like it if it's too busy are Giampietro's, Fatty's (I think it's terrible), Breckenridge Brewery, Empire Burger (probably the best burgers in Breck these days). Fatty's is probably the easiest option to get into, but it's not very good. They do not take AMEX, and delivery is only via Gourmet Cabby's, and the food really gets gross using this service--takes too long.

Stay with the stuff that's not good for you. The Caesar Salad was horrible. Service very friendly. Everyone else at the table, burgers, pizza...they said it was great. Just stay away from the salad.

We loved this place! Actually we loved the pizza more than anything. Try the garlic crust with buffalo, jalapenos, and green peppers. Soooo good. If it is packed and you just want pizza look on the other side by the gift shop. There is a bar that serves just pizza. We sat down right away after being told the wait would be 45 minutes at the restaurant. We will be back.

After a long 7hrs of skiing I took the advice of a friend and tried Downstairs at Erics. It is the traditional hometown pizza and burger joint. It has a sort of arcade feeling. But half of the games were not plugged in. We had to ask staff to plug the games in. The we ordered some food. Their menu was very diverse. Burgers you would not think of. I was very excited to eat one of their signature burgers. Well I was let down. The bun was stale and the meat was dry. The service was second rate. It took the server 5 min to bring me a water after the meal was served. The french fries were soaked in grease. Literally when you held up a fry the grease would drip from it. As I was getting ready to leave I ordered a personal pizza for later. A Garbage pizza with garlic crust. The pizza was second rate as well. The sauce was bland and the crust was hard and bone dry. I will not return to this restruant any time soon.

I'm from Chicago -- where pizza is practically god. So I am a natural cynic when it comes to other cities' pizza. And I was even impressed with this place. The wait time for a table took a rather long time, but once we were seated, it didn't take as long to order and then get our pizzas. The garlic pizza crust was really good, as well as the sauce and cheese. Service was good too. All in all, if I'm going to be in Breckenridge, I'll definitely come here. It's not Chicago pizza, but it's still damn good.

Yeah! Another place to put honey on your pizza crust. The burgers are delicious too (and I am an pseudo-veggie). If you're in need of a sporting event because your accomdation doesn't have the right TV channel, this is the place to be. Good place for late night snacking also.

Awesome downstairs bar with several T.V.'s and good bar food and pizza. A great place to gather at night for a few brewskies with all of your buddies and reminisce on the great day on the mountain. The bar gets pretty crowded and often the wait is too long. But, this is a Breck favorite not to be missed by first timers.

I keep reviewing pizza restaurants and I keep changing my mind about how I feel about them. It's like I'm jaded or becoming some sort of pizza snob. Downstairs at Eric's is a case in point. Given the circumstances - eating here after a 20 mile bike ride and 3 mile hike, I really like it. Then again, the pizza was not at all memorable to me. It certainly wasn't bad, and at the time I remember thinking it was good. Still, it's vaguely undercooked (I like my cheese a little brown) and some of the choices they made seemed odd to me. We ordered an olive oil pizza that came with a ton mozzarella on it, which isn't really wrong per se, but I guess I was just thinking that it might as well have been a sauce-less pizza because all you could taste was the cheese. The meatball pizza was good even though they are a little cagey about what exactly the "meat" is (marmot?) . On the upside they have an extensive and very good beer selection and the service was great for how crowded it was. They get bonus points for the awesome old school style arcade just outside the door - I think I broke my all-time record at Galaga (and soundly beat my friend Steve's score as well). Still, I just can't shake the feeling that the pizza wasn't THAT great.

i freaking LOVE pizza and so we decided to get the combo pizza here and it was DELISH! started off with some wings and cheese sticks, can't go wrong with unhealthy food right? bar is on the other side of the restaurant and kinda small, but their chips and salsa is good and beer is beer!

Downstairs at Eric's is your typical pizza joint with a twist...huge arcade across the hall and huge pizzas for those with big eyes and big appetites. I've been here several times during ski trips, this summer visit with family consisted of fewer beers and smaller pizzas. Let me tell you, the Gigantor, 24" pizza is a ton of food, 5 guys and healthy appetites were pushed to the limit knocking it out, but we did. This family trip included a smaller, but very delicious meat lovers, that hit the spot. Also, the variety of brews on tap is impressive, local and regional flavors cover the wall and fridge. We added in the usual salads, wings, rings and burgers to the order, and everyone was happy and eager to hit some additional games after the grub. Equally nice was the abundance of TVs, showing the women's world cup, concaf games and Tour de France. Myself and a couple of other cyclist were talking about the tour, when they started to point out all the signed cycling jerseys on the walls, most of the big American names were represented, Armstrong, Lemond, Landis, Hamilton, VandeVelt, and many others were showcased... Overall, this place is a nice place to relax, let the kids be kids, and fill your belly with the many, tasty offerings...but it can be a bit tricky to find...hint...the name...

Short version for those of you skimming: The food is decent, the staff is nice but slow and the arcade will be the highlight of your kids trip to Breckenridge, CO. -- We had spotted Eric's as a place to have dinner for two major reasons. One ,they had an arcade and two, they had the type of food offerings that young and old could appreciate. That is... deep fried and smothered in cheese and gravy. As it turns out, the local buddy we were meeting for dinner had suggested that we try Eric's as well and that we specifically ask for the "double baked wings" that are nowhere to be found on the menu,. But, are available if you know to ask for them. These double baked wings are quite literally double baked and if you order them you should be prepared to wait twice as long to get them. The service was decent, but slow. Our waitress was plenty friendly and attentive at first. But by the time we had to flag our server down to pay the check, it seemed as though we might be being punished for asking for a a few more minutes to order in the beginning. The food was good enough. The sweet potato fries came in a large basket with a deep cup of ranch dressing to wash them down and they were reasonably priced. The real attraction: The arcade was awesome, but a bit pricey. Games like Ms. Pacman and Donkey Kong intermingled with a Ski simulator, Mario Kart, mini hoops and ski ball. Maybe I'm just nostalgic but regardless of the year or present economy, Ms. Pacman should never be more than $0.25 to play. Regardless, we dump our coins in the slots and paid to play in what would be our kids highlight of the trip. Other games took dollar bills only and you can spend $20 in 10 minutes, easy! Fun fact! If you take a good look at the walls of Eric's you'll see a graveyard of shop signs displayed. These are the stores/shops/eateries and such that went out of business. I'm not sure if its charming or just an homage to the power that Eric holds in this town. He is influential to say the least.

Friendly staff, generous sized portions, good prices, good beer range on tap. the place is quite pleasant, youthful and comfortable. The food is great and you dont need to wait to long to get it to your table. Not a place for a romantic dinner but great for a friends get together or family dinner out. Our party had all ages from 7 year old to grandma and all went away with a big smile.

Prepare yourself for outstanding pizza while you play games in the arcade and wait! They have a great app that will help you find your place in line, but just keep telling yourself that the food and service will be worth it. We got outstanding service from Stephanie during our visit. Food did not take very long to come out once we ordered and it was hot and fresh. The kids loved their kid size pizza and burgers and the adults devour their Greek Pizza and Half and Half. This will be one of my return to spots when in Breckenridge.

A great place to watch the game, grab a cold beer, and enjoy pretty decent food in this ski town in summer. The staff is funny, personable and friendly. The games galore made the wait go by much quicker! Beer selection is nice. I'm not even a huge beer drinker! But it was impressive. I wasn't sure what to get and the bar tender suggested one for me and poured a sample for me to try first. The onion rings are out of this world good! Beer battered, hot and crispy. The menu is extensive, and again somewhat predictable, but many more items to choose from than the standard "bar and grill" type establishment. I had the ribs. And they were good! Note: Bring the kids to kill time at vintage arcade games (Ms. Pacman anyone?), throw away your hard earned dollars on vacation at the claw machine and quarter candy machines, or play some pinball.

Very fun atmosphere. Great place to watch a game and play arcade games. Pizza is pretty good and pretzel sticks are really good. A lot of good beer choices also

That must have been the worst burger I ever had. Dry and tasteless. The bun was stale and there way too much bun compared to the measly patty. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the very nice and efficient service

  • Gordon S.

Very lively atmosphere, had to wait to be seated, got a margarita, hint: don't order a margarita here.... Stick to beer, dinner turned out to be great. Wife had French dip, I had a great burger with onions, peppers and Swiss cheese.

Great place for some family fun! Went at 2pm on a Wednesday and still had to wait 30 minutes but the kids had a blast playing the arcade games and the wait went fast. Reasonable prices, amazing pizza & good service. Great place to beat the heat, hide from the rain or fill your tummy!

This place gets 4 stars because I appreciate an amazingly fun and well run restaurant given the unique situation of Breckenridge. What not to expect: A super trendy and modern hip pizza place akin to the likes you would see in New York City and Chicago historic pizzaeria that is nestled cuddly in the mountains What to expect: Imagine a clean warm cozy bar that has games off to the side with super delicious (yet great prices) food and no pretentiousness. The Food: This place is super great pizza - probably the best I ever had in Colorado. This is great for big groups with the 24 inch gigantor Pizza. The only thing that prevented this place from getting 5 stars is that the wings were a bit over salty The Service: Hannah Reed is simply an amazing server, super fun, great advice, and super fast service. The Wait: The only real wait is to get in, which given a busy ski day (or beer festival in my case), it could be an hour. However, they are an hour on the dot. I don't blame them for being busy and given the circumstances, it is not a bad wait. The Games: Seriously the games on the side are actually really fun, relatively cheap (a quarter to 50 cents) it might sound tacky, but no matter your age, bringing out your inner child is a delight.

We recently vacationed in Breckenridge for 7 days and 6 nights.. Downstair's at Eric's was the only place we went to eat twice! The first time each of us got some kind of burger or sandwich and they all just melted in our mouths. The fries were perfect and the service was awesome! The second time, we got some specialty pizzas and they outdid themselves again! I wish they had a duplicate location in my hometown! Plus, besides the food, the setup of the place is really cool!

  • Martina D.

Only came here three times and didn't really eat, so I can't comment on the food too much. I only tried the pizza which wasn't bad, and the potato skins which I really liked. Really came here to drink and watch sports two different nights... It was really busy. First night I was able to get two seats at the bar, and the second night had to wait 20 minutes for a table. There are families as well as couples and groups of friends. If you want to watch a specific game on one of the screens, just ask. There are so many screens it would have to be a blue moon for someone to object. Popped in here one afternoon to get a drink while I worked on my fantasy teams, and the waitress didn't seem bothered by the fact I didn't order food. Very laid back and welcoming place.

  • Nicole P.

I enjoyed the casual atmosphere, the decent drink list, and the friendly staff. There's always a wait, but you can link up with the no wait app, and head out to the shops sure you won't miss your name being called. OR you can entertain yourself with the rest of Eric's... basically a big kid arcade. I recommend the nachos and the onion rings. Nice big slices with a thin beer batter. My burger was lack luster, and the "world famous" chicken fingers left much to be desired. But that being said, nothing was bad. Our spiked hot ciders were not chincy, and served with extra cider in case we wished it a bit weaker. We enjoyed this joint and will definitely return.

We came here for lunch with a party of 8. It was an hour wait which was no biggie because we did more shopping. The bar had a nice selection of beers on tap along with an Angry Orchard cider which I got. We started with the baked chicken wings which were very good. Crispy, salty and a little spicy, these could be addictive. We also got the jalepeno poppers which were ok. Not the best I've had. I wanted a greasy burger because everything tastes better in the mountains. I got the green chili and pepperjack buffalo burger without the bun. I should have asked but I assumed the green chili was the stew version and not a green chili slapped on. That's what you get for assuming. The hubs ordered a BBQ bacon chicken sandwich that was juicy and good. The fries though were the best. I kept sneaking them off his plate. Service was good and it was a nice spot to fill up and get warm.

Excellent pizza and great beer selection. Very friendly staff. Best pizza in Breck in my opinion. Great arcade if you are waiting for a table, and plenty of HD televisions to keep you occupied.

So we went on Friday night for the second time and let me just say it still is SO good. First and foremost, there is nothing better in the mountains then good pizza and Eric's gets it right! My husband and I love thick crust pizza and Eric's white garlic dough is to die for! I would definitely try it if you are looking for something yummy! Couple quick things: 1. this is a great place to just hang out. The vibe is amazing! However, if you don't like kids you should come later in the evening. We were there at 7 and it was all about families because of the arcade. 2. Be ready to wait if its during ski season. Eric's is definitely worth the wait and very popular! I don't know if they take reservations but its super easy to grab a drink at the bar and play some games. They also do take-out if you just want to take it back to your place. I can't wait to be back up in Breck so we can hit up Eric's! So yummy! Keep up the good work :)

  • D D.

I love the atmosphere of this place. The arcade has lots of options, including some old school games like Pac-Man and pinball. My family and I shared a pizza that was one of the better pizzas we've had in Colorado. They had local brew options too. We will definitely be back.

  • Nick M.

Been coming here for a bit now and love it! The cook Jason was super nice when I asked a kitchen question to the line cooks. Our server Rachel, late night on 8-4-15, was super nice and attentive which is what I've come to expect here after our awesome experience last time with Danielle. These guys are usually busy and rightfully so. Don't let a wait time deter you from enjoying one of the best places in Breckenridge.

I am very sad to say this about Eric's. They are going to get a terrible review because of the waitress. She was awful. Did not check on us and her service skills were embarrasing. She did not care about her tables. She was rude and teh reason this really upsets me is we were waiting to go there because about 15 years or so my boyfriend and I went there every night on our vacation. We could not wait to go back and bring our daughter more for the memory of the place because we had so much fun on vacation. Now we have been married for 13 years and for us it was to visit a place with great memories and this waitress really ruined our night. I believe her name was CAT. She really needs to rethink her attitude when waiting tables. If she hates her job she should not be doing it.

  • Gino T.

While we didn't eat their pizza, I have to give them a one-star rating for their lousy attitude toward customers. We called at roughly 4:45 PM, trying to order a pizza so we didn't have to wait 25-30 minutes after we got there for it to be prepared. Their response? "Sorry, but we don't take phone orders because it fouls up our kitchen." WTF? Why is a phone order different from an in-person order? I'm ready to give them payment by credit card in advance, but they want me to drive 15-20 minutes first and THEN have to wait another 25-30 minutes? I don't think so. We went to Extreme Pizza and had a great pizza at about $8/pizza less.

  • Danica W.

Pleasantly surprised. We waited 45 minutes on a Sunday night and then sat at a time table shoved in a busy section. I had the ribs and my husband had a burger. Both were excellent! Their sweet potato and regular fries we great, along with tasty cole slaw. We almost gave up because of the crazy arcade, long wait and seating next to screaming kids (we have kids also, that do not scream, cry and throw food while in a restaurant)..but we were glad we stayed. The food was great, and the staff was wonderful. Our server was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again, we will just be better prepared for the chaos.

I tend to base my five star reviews around places that if someone said, "hey do you want to go here?", my answer would always be "Let's Go!". Eric's is one of those places. I love eating here anytime I'm in Breckenridge. It can get busy but I love the selection of comfort food at a very reasonable price. They have a great selection of beers on tap and the "downstairs" environment with the arcade is cool and family friendly. Be sure to try the baked wings! They are amazing! I usually get something "buffalo" because their hot sauce is so yummy. I think I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwich. I would say that I wish their bathrooms were a little nicer but they are outside the restaurant and I'm sure they are a popular local and tourist public restroom. So - what can you do?

    (5)
  • Jon R.

Good atmosphere in downtown Breckenridge. Their baked wings are really good. The pizza is good too, put honey on the crust of the pizza, it's a Colorado thing and it's delicious.

  • Carolyn M.

We were wandering about aimlessly without a reservation any place, absorbing the hour plus wait times with cheerless acceptance, when like an oasis, the bar room of Eric's declared itself wait free, first come first serve! The main area had a 45 minute wait, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why anyone would do that when the little side room is open. It's totally kid friendly and the food is the same. Excellent pizza, huge side salads, great selection of beer.

Pizza had bad hamburger meat. Think freezer burn??? Don't like to post bad reviews but didn't eat much of it after bringing it back to our condo.

My wife and i have been going here for over 20 years, before we were even married. Its a special place to us and we always eat here on any trip thru town! They have great pizza, good wings, and the kids will love the arcade! Plus it really is a local institution!

    (5)
  • Kevin B.

This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again they did not disappoint. The wings are excellent, the steak sandwich, and salad were all excellent. Great place to watch sports with lots of local beer options as well . Great place to hang out, arcades are available downstairs for the kids. !Friendly waitress as well. We will be back !

    (5)
  • Cindy L.

It was described by a local as "The Chuckie Cheese of Breck". That summed it up well. You have to walk through the arcade to get to the restaurant. The food tastes like it was all frozen and reheated from a box. On the good side, it is right in the middle of downtown so you can go shopping while waiting for a table or play their video games.

    (2)

Always a great place for eats! Good food, generous portions, great atmosphere and friendly folks. What more can you ask for? It's a place we regularly visit when we're in town.

Good pizza and pretty good beer list. Great place for families as there's an arcade to keep the kids entertained!

  • Solomon W.

Downstairs at Eric's generally represents all that I would like to critique about a bar, loud and dark, providing some sort of grub that they would like to pass off as good food. And proved wrong I was. The food surprisingly reminds me that ski-town food, perhaps on account of the higher altitude and bigger appetite, almost always tastes good. Pizzas and the typical fried munchies are great, but the must-eat are the sweet potato fries. In chili. Quite literally, you will find that the fries come on the largest of serving platters, covered in hearty chili, blanketed with a large sheet of cheese. Easy on the wallet, no-frills atmosphere, and quick food make for a quick, simple bite to eat.

Went with a big group(6 adults and 5 kids) on Super Bowl Sunday. The kids were happily entertained in the arcade outside the doors, the wait was reasonable and oh my gosh! The food! I had given up on getting good food in Breckenridge (other than the Crepe' Cart). I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, YUM! You know the one, buffalo chicken with blue cheese dressing on a bun,the bonus was fresh leaf lettuce and a flavorful tomato (not the flavorless crunchy ones ) came with hand cut fries. My 9 year old daughter got the kids pizza, and had to fight off my husband because it was so good!! Tons of cheese, nice ratio of toppings and way better than your average kid's meal. My friend had a calzone that oozed cheese and was huge!! Finally my husband got a pastrami sandwich, piled high on rye, (after 20 years on the east coast we know what a good pastrami looks like and this was it) exactly what it is supposed to be! Bottom Line: Kid friendly, great food, good price. Best food we have had in Breck, and I am thrilled to have a place to go on our next day trip!

When I first entered I had very low expectations due to the loud music and the very bad-like atmosphere. At around 6:PM when I showed up, their was a 20-45 minute wait. About a half an hour later my name got called. When I got the menu there was a large variety of items to choose from. I got a pizza not expecting it to be special more less, good at all. I got the food very quickly, around 7 minutes. And it was extremely good versus the bar food I was expecting. However the waitress we had didn't exactly come around and ask if our food was good or if we needed anything else. But, I would eat there again. *Pros: Good food, great location, fast food preparation, great drinks, alcoholic & non-alcoholic Cons* Loud music, sketchy bar patrons.

You have not been to Breckenridge if you didn't visit this basement :) I visit it every time i pass by, it's a tradition. Great bar food, big portions Love the pizza and the wings Arcade for the kids, great music for the adults Tip : don't drink to much ... you have to get up the stairs to leave :)

Visited here a few times. First was for a few beers and golden tee. Next day we came right when they opened and caught the Texans game and had a good lunch! Food was great. Bloody Mary's could use a little help but all in all. This is definitely a go to place for sure!

My wife and I heard really good things about Eric's and decided to try it mid day. Lots of cool games! We got the Nachos and buffalo wings. So good! Great atmosphere and fun for the family.

Amazing selection of beer leads into the best pizza I have had in Colorado. Don't discount the ribs that were my personal favorite. We passed on the arcade but it would be great for kids. Calzones were okay. Busy place on weekends so prepare for a wait.

Came on Saturday night and was worried we wouldn't get in but there were two seats at the bar which meant we could watch sports while we ate. Beer selection was good and the pizza was as good as we had heard. Lots of topping choices! There's an arcade in the lobby area as well.

I wasn't too impressed with my experience at Downstairs at Eric's. I hung out here for about an hour by myself as I waited for some friends who were skiing to join me. The place was pretty busy for the game but not overwhelming. I sat in the seat yourself bar area. I managed to find a stool against the wall. While bartenders were walking around serving larger parties, they completely neglected me the entire time. I had to mosey to the bar every time I wanted anything... I typically wouldn't have a problem with that, but in this situation I risked losing my seat each time I got up. So that was annoying. The food wasn't anything special either. When the rest of my party came, we ordered a couple appetizers -the potato skins, wings, pretzels, and chips and guacamole. Everything was truly lackluster. I wouldn't recommend any of those items to anyone. After spending about 4 hours in this bar, I could not wait to get out. It is in a basement, so there were no windows. It was super stuffy and hot. I don't know how the employees don't lose their minds hanging out in a dark basement all day. I will not return.

I had dinner at Eric's last Saturday. The place was packed, but there is plenty of seating so our wait was short. They have lots of arcade games in the waiting area to occupy your time during your wait. The draught beer selection here is great. We started with the onion rings and BBQ wings. The portions for both were huge and both appetizers were very yummy. They came out 5-10 minutes after ordering. For dinner we shared a couple of pizzas (cheese and peppers, onions and pepperoni). I really enjoyed both. The crush is tasty, soft and crispy and the cheese and toppings were great. Don't miss out on Eric's!

Husband and I ate lunch here and Loved it! We both got pizza and the crust is some of the best I've had! I was able to get a half and half and try two of their signature pizzas and was very impressed! Service was great and we loved playing in the arcade afterwards! Definitely a place to hit while in Breckenridge.

Really enjoyed this place! My wife and I are children of the 80s and right when we walked in there was that throwback feeling. My wife LOVES Galaga and got to play a couple of games. The service and food is good too. I had the traditional hot wings and my wife had the Thai Chicken Salad.

Downstairs at Eric's is a great place to eat. Good food, excellent service, and a great sports themed atmosphere. The restaurant also updated their arcade games to make their long waits shorter.

White crust or wheat crust? What a great option to have! The pizza was fresh and the crust was fluffy. I thoroughly enjoyed my "Breck" pizza. Aside from the pizza, the service was rather rocky-- the girl serving our table of 5 was not personable and definitely not "on top of it." My favorite moment was when she nearly fell over when I asked for red pepper flakes and they were already on the table. . . OOPS! I just didn't see it behind the menu and other condiments ya' brat!

Awesome place, the wait line was 2 hours!! But they told us to go to the bar and order from there. Ordered and got our food in 30 minutes, they even turned the channel to the rockets game for us! Great place! Great food and drinks! Order the chili cheese fries and pizza~ NOMS

Kids will like it for the arcade, parents will like it for the murky dungeon-like atmosphere. Wait...let me try again. Kids will like it for the arcade, parents will like it for the dark, windowless, musty.....hang on.... Kids will like it for the arcade, parents will like it for the decent tavern-style food. There we go.

Dark, loud - and worth the trip. Food is very good. Staff are proactive & friendly. Eric is often in - he'll stop by your table to say hello and ask how your meal is going. My chicken caesar salad was terrific.

The arcade looked cool. My inner child was in heaven. However, the decor, food, and service were nothing to write home about. This would have been a solid place in the suburbs, but it's pretty weird smack dab in the middle of a tourist destination like Breck. If I were a tourist in this beautiful state, I wouldn't spend any time in a dark dingy basement eating mediocre food (while wearing earplugs to drown out the screaming kids). I'd be somewhere else, soaking in the scenery. But that's just me. Anyway, I ordered a veggie burger and it was bland. They served it on sandwich bread! What's up with that?! When I hear "burger", I think of a bun, and I expect a bun. Because my "burger" was served with sandwich bread, it was really awkward to eat. My fiance ordered a pretzel, which was okay, and buffalo fingers (I think?) The portion was TINY. He got only, what, three pieces. The waitress was a little cold. It was kind of obvious that she was trying to rush us out of there. I wasn't even halfway through my fries when she tried to take my plate away. Just meh. The people at the table next to ours ordered pizza, and it looked good. I think we'll try that if we ever come back here.

Update! So...after walking around for a bit and looking at menu's...We decided on Eric's because they have Gluten Free pizza on the menu. I'm a celiac...so WOOT WOOT! Gluten free pizza! Well.....we were seated near the kitchen...so I naturally asked (just to make sure) if the gluten free pizza is heated on a different surface....or on it's own tray..NOPE! They put the GF pizza on the same surfaces as all the other pizza's. (In case you don't understand....this basically makes this expensive gluten free pizza NOT gluten free anymore...) So...I decided to just go with the baked wings...cause...you know...if they are baked then they haven't been in the frier and I can eat them! So...I asked...JUST to make sure..and guess what?!?! They put them in the frier before they bake them! Oooookkkkkkk...WTH?!?! I ended up not eating. at all. I appreciate the waitress and bartender knowing this information...but come on....DO BETTER! And...just so you know..I was going to order a salad but when I asked if it's the pizza makers that make my salad and if they could maybe wash their hands before making my salad...I was told I probably shouldn't eat there if I'm that sensitive to gluten. BOO.

GREAT PLACE to take a family! Yes, it is noisy for for any parent of young children that is ideal. Games for the kids to play, great beer selection and the food was good. The buffalo burger was high quality and the kids meals are very reasonably priced and portions are generous. Try the baked wings, they are outstanding. Service was also very good - we had Misty and were very happy with the job she did. We will be back!

This has quickly turned into our place to go when visiting Breck. Love the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fun games for the kids. And reasonable prices. Haven't had a bad menu item. But pizza WITH Gatlic crust is the bomb. Great atmosphere. Feels like a great locals place but welcomes all tourists. Love it.

Fabulous experience here. First and foremost, it's bar food which in my book, is one of the gifts of the gods to be enjoyed in moderation. If you go in knowing that and aren't snooty, I think you will be fine. We stopped here around noon on Saturday afternoon and luckily there wasn't a wait (they started to have one mid-meal while we were there). The place was packed and dark and from that alone I knew we picked the right spot for lunch! They have a pretty big menu which meant it took forever for me to decide on something since everything sounded good at the moment. We split a pitcher of 90 Shilling along with an order of fries and gravy. That right there-dude, they have chicken, turkey and beef gravy, get it on the side for optimal crispiness of fries! We ordered the margherita pizza and steak salad and both were fantastic. The steak salad was filled with apples, cranberries, nuts and bleu cheese with an amount of steak that made my heart go pitter-patter. Besides our server wearing a Patriots hat on the wknd of the AFC championship game, it was a perfect experience!

Crowded. Kids everywhere. Long wait. Just okay bar food. It's cool that they have all those arcade games, but I'll steer clear of the place in future visit's to Breckenridge. Better bard to go to.

The baked wings are great - I might just like some of the buffalo sauce to dip them in (rather than ranch), but that is just me. I also tried the olive oil pizza - great crust, perhaps just too much spinach for me, but it was tasty. I was told to also try their margharita pizza. They have a pretty decent draft beer selection and a huge can/bottle selection. I will head back here for sure the next time I am in Breckenridge.

Olive oil pizza with garlic wheat crust - 5 stars Stella on tap! Will be returning here every time I'm in Breck :)

Good pizza, burger, and wings. They advertise their hot wings with warnings as super hot. It's just Frank's Red Hot though, so that was a little disappointing. Lots of video games downstairs to keep you busy when there's a line (and it seems like there often is unless you get there really early). They play all the football games though, so that's great. The only thing I'd ask is that they install wifi, since they are in the basement and there's spotty service.

We went here for lunch and it was awesome! Our server, Cara, took amazing care of us. The baked wings were solid. My burger was decent. We also ordered 2 pizzas and those got very good reviews. The best was how they took care of my 2 year old daughter. It was the best service we had in Breckenridge and we can't wait to go back.

Um, no. I ordered baked wings. They were fine. Nothing special but not awful. The sauce was tangy and the texture was a little crisp but I like the outside to a little more blackened-personal preference. The celery they came with was nice and crisp, lol. The bf had pizza which he liked but I think he was just hungry. It looked like it could have been purchased in the grocery store freezer and popped in the oven at home. Also, it seemed to be lacking the appropriate amount of cheese. As well as flavor. The sauce was bland and unimpressive and the crust left something to be desired. Our waitress was slow and inattentive and they were so not busy. Also, she told us they didn't do pitchers of any of their stout beers due to the length of time it takes to fill up a pitcher. Um, hello then why do you have pitcher prices on Guinness and Left Hand Milk Stout? Seriously, I have ordered and received many pitchers of stout beer. Are ya'll just lazy or what? The rest of the light beer drinkers had no problems with their orders. I wouldn't avoid this place at all costs but I wouldn't go back there unless nothing else was open or someone I was with was just dying to go there. Then I would ask them if they were feeling ok.

Wow! This place is amazing. I stop here everytime I am in Breck. It is hands down the best restaurant in Breck. And I highly recommend to anyone. They have so many options on their menu, all are reasonable priced. Wish we had a downstairs at Eric's in Longmont, i'd be there once a week! Keep it up!

Excellent pizza! My wife and I recently visited and order a medium pizza with the white garlic crust. The crust was lightly buttered and had garlic on top. The sauce was sweet and savory with good cheese on top. Highly recommend Eric's.

  • Drea R.

We always have to stop at Eric's when we are in town! My husband loves their food.. While I'm not big on bar food and pizza this place does a pretty good job! The pizza, wings, and burgers all stand out and the prices are really good for Breck. The only thing that they lack is great service... We tend to go with a big group but we have also gone just the two of us and the service is always either ok or bordering on bad. It certainly doesn't hurt your tip to be friendly but apparently the staff at Eric's hasn't gotten the memo.

    (4)
  • Celso R.

I would eat a feed and drink a pint at Eric's even if it wasn't in Breck. What I mean by this statement is that MOST places I would say are "good" in Breck wouldn't be places I would frequent back home. If there was an Eric's downstairs from my hometown I would be a regular. It's great: attached to an arcade, got seated superfast, waitstaff was on point, Strongbow was cold, caesar wasn't drenched, my hamburger hit the spot, fries were crisp, prices are very fair. But my lady's arugula/prosciutto small pizza on the garlic crust was awesome. I had a bite, but her 100 lb self ate the entire small prosciutto loaded (they don't skimp) pizza. The small isn't small for one tiny person and who knew you could choose crust type? Unfortunately schedule only allowed us to visit Eric's once on this trip, but we will be back the next time we are at Breck. The best time to go is probably when we went, immediately after we closed the last lift and got our car from the Free Airport Lot, say 5:00PM. Regardless, go to Eric's when in Breck!

  • Atom B.

I heard the pizza was good at Eric's. When I went down the stairs and saw the game room, tvs, and divey digs i sort of doubted it but after skiing 26" of heavy powder all day at breck i didn't think i'd make it back up the stairs without a couple thousand calories, so: I was pleased to see that not only can you order wheat crust but garlic wheat crust, and the bartender suggested a small was enough rather than the medium i was planning. Got the veggie, and actually it was excellent and the advice was spot on, couldn't have eaten another slice. Watched some KG playing for Brooklyn on the tube, met some cool people and stuffed down the killer pie. Sweet.

DAE was busy, loud and rambunctious. When we arrived during peak dinner/peak skiing season, there was a 45min wait that turned into a 25min wait. It felt overwhelming but as I got a much needed drink and stool things looked up. The noise wrapped me up and the happy people really brightened my spirits. The place is a bit haphazardly decorated but all the decor alludes to historical Breckenridge. The staff is fun and sassy, which our dining experience enjoyable. It really is a great place to be. Oh and the food! They have simply delicious food. The menu is extensive in its choices and variety, so there should be something for every member of your group or family. They even offer a gluten free pizza dough!

If you're looking for inexpensive bar food this is the place to go. Food wasn't overwhelming, neither was the service, but overall worked for just getting into town for the night.

This is a great place to go whether on a date night or even with your kiddos. Love when you can find a place that is good for both. They have an arcade that my 3 year old could not get enough of, but then they also have a bar with local beers on tap for the adults. Loves of yummy pizzas to choose from and you can get whole wheat dough too. Liked it so much we went there more than once on our weekend in Breck. My husband LOVED their baked wings too. 4 out of 5 stars because service is a little slow. Servers don't come around much and that can get annoying. But one of the best spots in Breck for beer and pizza for sure! They also have a HUGE menu with salads and sandwiches as well. My SIL had their veggie wrap and loved that too.

We chose this place simply based on the reviews.. We were in breck overnight with our two small children... looking for good food but casual atmosphere to take them.. This was perfect! The games were fun for all of us and especially a great way to spend your time while waiting for a table.. We were lucky to find a table over in the bar area immediately after putting our name in. Jalapeño poppers were great! Nachos were awesome.. Pretty much all our food was awesome! Loved the good and atmosphere!

  • Vern H.

Food was delicious! Great selection of beer. Service... I felt rushed to leave, as they were busy and wanted to turn the table. My server just dumped the check on me, and didn't speak to us at all. Disappointed with the service, but it is Friday night. Would have stayed longer for drinks... But time to move on!

I used to work here about 12 years ago and I come back whenever I'm in town, now with my husband/family. The food and service are still great! Had the baked wings after reading a review and I am now in love with baked wings! Hubby and I had a pizza (the Breck pizza, I believe) with garlic white crust which was excellent. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Even though I used to work here, I choose to come here with so many other options available. Love this place.

We were in Breckenridge for the weekend and heard from numerous people to try Eric's. When you walk through the doors, you walk down a flight of stairs into an arcade. Turn left and you enter a sports bar with enough TVs to show every football game, plus any other sport that is airing at that time. We were seated in front of a TV playing the Dolphins, which is my team. They handed us very large menus, that had way too much to pick from. We both settled on calzones. I picked pepperoni, green peppers and black olives. Brian got meatballs in his. Both were oozing with a ton of cheese. When you cut into the calzone, toppings and cheese coming pouring out. They were so huge, that I couldn't even eat half of it. This place was a great recommendation and I am definitely going back to try more of the many things they have on their menu. Great staff, great sports bar, and excellent food!

I went here with three others and everyone left there very happy. We all ordered something different to try what all they had to offer. Asked for what they thought was there best dish and ordered it and got the one thing everyone writes about on their comments with the pretzel appetizer. "YES" they are awesome!!!! This will now be a place I go to every time I am in breck. Food and service was great. Keep up the good work.

Garlic pizza crust = awesome! Family favorite. Love the arcade to keep the kids entertained when there is a wait to get in. Salads are fresh. Rotisserie chicken is a must. Never had a single meal that disappointed.

We came to breck in the off season. The other places we ate were ghost towns. This place was packed. Lots of sports kid friendly. Staff was very friendly. Arcade was fun. Pizza was off the charts good! White garlic crust was amazing. We will definetly be back. Fish and chips was good too.

Tourist and locals alike come to Downstair's at Eric's for a great divey atmosphere and great pub-like food. I used to frequent this place often post day on the mountain in my college years at University of Colorado (Go Buffs!) and the staple was the french onion soup and usually a chicken sandwich, maybe a pizza. And my fond memories of this place is what made me take my bf on our recent trip to Breck for a wedding. French Onion Soup is a must, and my man loves his french onion soup. He was super stoked and it was super cheesy just how I remembered it. I told him the story of how this french onion soup inspired me to make my own onion soup which he laughed since I'm no chef though the soup didn't turn out so bad, as in no deaths were reported. He went with the Double Burger - which was Eric's take on a Big Mac. He loved it and of course it was delicious, I mean double patty, cheese, lettuce and tomato and that secret sauce, that ain't no secret anymore. The sweet potato fries that accompanied this burger was the actual highlight. They could be the best sweet potato fries ever. Perfectly crisped fried with large crystallized salt flakes on each fry. They were addicting and I loved every bite. I went with the turkey au jus. Thinly sliced pieces of turkey, in a french roll smothered in Swiss cheese with a chicken stock based dipping juice. It was good. Solidly good. The turkey wasn't as flavorful as I would have preferred. Almost deli slice like. Clearly not the best thing on the menu but, I enjoyed it. I went with the side salad which was just regular. Nothing special. So overall if you are trying to be healthy avoid this place, be all gluttonous and order the good stuff that Eric's seems to know so well.

There's something for everyone here. Food is good, and there are gluten-free options for the pizza. Service is friendly and fast, the atmosphere is fun and casual. Added bonus is the game room with all kinds of games to play while you wait. Family-friendly but also fun for adults. Highly recommended.

First time to Breckenridge, Colorado and this place was just awesome. Pizza was FIRST CLASS. Garlic bread crust.....YUM! Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Tasty sauce. Awesome local microbrews, arcade with old school games. This is a must if you are visiting and you are a lucky duck if u live here.

Loud, no natural sunlight, upteen TV's, and good ol fashioned pin ball machines in the lobby area. Not the perfect place when you are surrounded by the beautiful and majestic vistas of Breckenridge but the perfect place to fulfill my pizza cravings. Sadly, this local down home place was the best meal I had in Breckenridge. That's not a punch in the face to Downstairs at Eric's as it is to the other more "sophisticated" eateries in the area. I ordered the medium garbage pizza. What a delight to get ample servings of super fresh green peppers, black olives, sausage, pepperoni onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. The outer crust was a bit thick, but the rest of the pie was nice and thin. It so hit the spot after so many misses at other eateries on Main Street. I could go for a slice right now....................

When we ate here, i wasn't a big fan of this place mainly because of the nasty cheese that came with the pretzel. It had coalesced into a thick layer on top that i could push down with my finger and watch it regain its shape. i made a video that i should post on youtube sometime. i ate some anyway and it was not good. Other than that, the beer was fine and the space a good size with some arcade games out front. i guess if the food i ordered had turned out better, it would have been alright. Sadly, i was really looking forward to that pretzel and cheese.

This is one of those iconic tourist watering holes. Come here any night of the week and be bombarded by snotty kids playing the arcade games and a slew of out of towners elbowing for a spot where they can watch a game. I like the "coziness" factor of this place though. It's like Cheers when you walk down the steps into the basement bar area and the warmth factor after a day in the Breckenridge chill is superb. The booths are extra large, as is the main tv over the bar. Bartenders are friendly and efficient and there are cozy high chairs that I would feel more than happy planting myself in for the evening (if I could have the luck of finding an open one!) Their pub fare is pretty delicious as well and my crew and I usually end up grabbing some meals to go. Whenever we do this, the service is fast and the people watching while we wait is enough to keep me entertained. Pizzas, wraps, burgers... everything I've had "to-go style" has satisfied me.

Overall good experience with food and atmosphere. My husband and I were with our 1 1/2 year old, so we needed a place that was kid-friendly with decent grub - this was it! There's an arcade to stimulate the senses of older kids, and TVs all over the place to catch a game with the buddies. I had the fish and chips - exactly what I expected and the hubby had the Al Burger. His burger was kind of plain - burger, cheese and a slice of green chile, but alright. Fries were good. Kids meals are all $5, which was nice. My son had the quesadilla with veggies and milk - much healthier than most kids meals and the price was right. If you want a night out with some good distractions for either yourself (TVs) or the kiddos (arcade) with good bar food, this is your place.

I don't understand why this place is highly rated. I would compare it to Applebee's, Friday's or Chili's. Basically, it was frozen chain restaurant food. I order french onion soup which had no flavor what so ever. I also ordered a blackened chicken sandwich. Again, no flavor and more blackened then flavorful. Its seems like people order pizza or wings here more from all the other reviews I've read. So I may have just ordered wrong. My husband ordered the chili burger and hated it. I took a bite and hated it more. I am a HUGE burger fan, and I guess living in a town where good burgers aren't hard to find, and the bar is set REALLY high, rating this place isn't fair. But in all honesty the burger was gross. I would have given it less stars but I didn't have the pizza or wings. And playing in the arcade was fun. Service was also great, friendly staff.

Excellent pizza and really good wings - highly recommend the baked hot wings...only thing keeping this place from 5 stars was the tap list. It was good but not outstanding. Some good bottles though. Another plus was the arcade with skeeball and tons of arcade games.

The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was decent, and the price was great. The nacho appetizers were a whole meal in itself! However the real issue is that every single person that used a credit/debit card at my table had their account compromised leading to fraudulent charges. Being the 'established' place in town, it seems unthinkable that they could let this happen to patrons who are on vacation. I am very disappointed and had to rate my experience as such.

Eric's was a welcome place after a day on the slopes. The service was great, quickly got our drink orders and helped with some knowledge on the available beers. We started out with some baked wings (which might have been some of the best I ever had) and had a large pizza. Definitely a great night. Place is low key, but noisy, which was ok by me. Place gets super packed, so plan ahead.

Great pies, but the customer service here was terrible. Maybe she was having an off day, but I was extremely disappointed.

I have been to Eric's several times. I am never disappointed. The inviting atmosphere of a fun hip place to be is great. They have tons of tv's to watch sporting events , and the service is fabulous. Everyone is very nice and willing to help each other. The variety of beers is amazing!! But the food by far is the reason I return summer after summer. The pizza and wings are to die for! The salad dressing is my favorite ranch I have ever had! It's a family place , you can go with friends or people of all ages!! I would highly recommend this perfectly located place in breck!

Good pizza. Great steak sandwich with garlic. I was in from out of town and it was easy to pick up the food and real good price for Breck.

Buffalo Burgers on the menu? I'm in! I am a big fan of Buffalo Burgers, I've even made some at home. When I saw them on the menu I knew I had to try one, and even convinced some of my friends to do so too. I must say, I was not disappointed! Soft, flavorful, mmmm. The sweet potatoes were for sure also a great addition, soft and not too thick, just like I like them. This is no gourmet fancy restaurant, but it make for a great late night eatery with some very very good food. Oh, did I mention the beer menu... I am not much of the beer drinker but my friends were very satisfied. I ordered my beloved lemon drop martini and it was made waaaay too strong. When I asked the waitress to dilute it she said she could bring me a glass of lemonade and I was fine with that...but then she made a snide remark that I should be aware that martins are alcoholic...as though I was dumb for wanting to dilute an alcoholic drink.. Thanks genius, I know I ordered alcohol, but I didn't order a SHOT, I got a lemon drop martini, and I know exactly how they should taste, not like a glass of straight vodka.. Overall the feel of the place is awesome. It's downstairs under a building. It has many TVs to watch sports on. It even has an arcade between the staircase and the restaurant, sweet addition! I wouldn't mind making another stop here if I am ever in town again.

  • Dan H.

What the what?!?! "It's not delivery it's DiGiorno" Erics should put that as their tag line on the menu, then at least I'd know to check my expectations of a decent pie at the staircase.. Cheese to topping ratio all wrong and inferior quality ingredients for the price.. A family member enjoys the Greek pizza here, however I thought that too was a total mess.

We ordered Eric's on our last night in Breckenridge so that we could just chill in our condo. They were super fast and very friendly. Our to go order took less then 20 minutes. We had the garlic white crust on all of our pizzas and it was super good. We ordered 3 large pizzas for 6 adults, and had an entire large pizza left over. We saw their giagantor pizza when we picked our's up and it was HUGE!! The Olive Oil pizza with added garlic was by far the tastiest! We also ordered a half meat and half Garbage pizza. They were both very good, and they gave us no problems with halfing a pizza. We also ordered the Hot Wings pizza. It was very good, but very spicy. They put honey in our bag and I put it on the Hot Wing pizza and it was super good. Perfect combo of sweet and spicy! Tasted so awesome we ate it cold for breakfast the next morning!!

Best! Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Video games are popular while waiting. Food is great and pizza is excellent. Went there to watch the game on Sunday and felt NO pressure to leave...just tipped well! Always a stop when we are in Breck.

I wrote the above review 2 years ago. I think they considered it, or maybe it was just pure stochasticity every time we went. Either way, last year was better and we have high hopes for this year. That's Growth Mindset - way to go Eric!

If you like good pizza and a great beer selection this is your place. They have a variety of pizza and pizza crust (all hand tossed) and as good as the pizza is the beer is better. Multiple drafts to choose from and too many national and international beers to list here. I was surprised to see that they even have a half dozen Gluten Free beers to choose from as well as multiple near beers. The service is good, fast and for the most part this place is spot on. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is their pizza was skimpy on the sauce. They put a lot of effort into their pizza using fresh ingredients and making awesome crust however, they use the minimum amount of sauce. Not sure why since great sauce makes or breaks a pizza. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area. Their prices are very good and over all this is a solid restaurant! When I visit Breck and want good pizza, this is where I come.

This was me and my buddies first stop to eat in Breck and we were very satisfied. The Cheese and Pepperoni was very very good. The bartenders were attentive and made sure we knew about all the happy hour drink specials. There are a ton of arcade games so it would be a great place for a family to bring kids as well. I will defiantly go back on m next trip.

If you get there early you will be set. The burgers were wonderful, service was excellent, and atmosphere was fun. I also thought everything was reasonably priced. Like I said before though, GET THERE EARLY or you will wait and wait and wait!!

Love coming here with the kids. Great arcade, not overpriced like so many nowadays. I personally think the pizza is great - nothing out of the ordinary, but solid. Just what it should be. We love the hummus plate as a starter. Have only been here twice, but have never been left wanting. When our son wanted a chili dog for dinner (only on lunch menu), they made it happen. Great place to be if any interesting sports are on, what with their endless supply of wall-mounted flat screens. Looks like we've got a new favorite breck tradition!

This is a family friendly après ski and family dinner hour spot. We were lucky because we arrived around 4p before the rush. By the time we left, the average wait was 2 1/2 hours. The beer selection is good. We had the nachos and couldn't finish them. Hummus was okay. Chicken wings were good. We must have seen at least 5 Gigantor pizzas go by. They looked like a crowd pleaser for a big group. Completely affordable and tasty. Not for anyone looking for some adult down time.

  • Abby ..

The pizza was great! We got the garlic Parmesan crust and split a large salad. If there is just 2 of you, the large salad is way too big.

This was a return visit after a few years absence from Breckenridge. We ordered four small pizzas so we could share and try more. Ww had the thai, margarita, barbecue chicken and the prosciutto arugula. All werw excellent so much so we ordered a fifth to go. They also offer a unique option of white or wheat and garlic choice for the crust. We ordered garlic white on all but the thai which was wheat and garlic. Our waitress Colleen was excellent and was able to keep us well supplied with refills. Definitely will visit again before we leave.

Good Greek pizza, kids ate all their kid meals, such a rare occurrence. The arcade in the lobby was nice to pass the time, very family friendly environment. The server was super nice and took care of us through the meal. When we are in town next this will be a definite stop for lunch or supper. Note it is popular and you may have a long wait, though we were there during the AFC Championship game.

  • Bonam I.

Not my favorite choice in Breck. Lots of people told us to go there with our kids. I think it is the arcade in the waiting area. But the service is not very friendly or helpful and the food is average at best. I had a shrimp poorboy that was flat out bad. The shrimp was gross and the bread was toasted so much it was hard as a rock. My son had a chicken sandwich that was extremely average. My daughter had a burger as did my husband and they were both disappointed in the quality. Wait times are pretty long, so you might find a better choice elsewhere.

Delicious food. Their garlic wheat crust to their veggie pizza was so flavorful and full of garlic! They also introduced us to honey syrup on the crust and that was the highlight of my night! We ordered WAY more than we could handle and probably took home just as much as we ate. But it was great location, great night. It can be either family oriented or just a group of friends hanging out. We were able to watch the games and play some video games. I really liked this spot a lot!

I gotta say, I'm a little surprised at the rave reviews this place gets! It's certainly a solid 3 stars, but 4 and 5 stars? Really? Am I missing something here? Please enlighten me! Brent N. and I selected Eric's after realizing the farmer's market wasn't really a farmer's market and we had to eat. All our top choices had a long wait to seat 2, like 45+ minutes. While there was definitely a wait for larger groups, Eric's could sit us right away and we were hungry. We started with a soft pretzel, I ordered the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and Brent had the chicken fingers and fries. The pretzel was tasty, just as it would have been if we had ordered it at Coors Field. My grilled cheese was good, but hey it was grilled cheese. The sweet potato fries were OK, however I could taste onion rings on them. Brent said his chicken fingers were obviously frozen but his fries were really good. Maybe I was a bit bummed that we didn't have much choice but to select this place for my birthday lunch. Maybe this place would get 4 stars from me if it had been a day of skiing and we were grabbing beer & pizza after. If that happens next season, I'll be sure to update. But for now Eric's is a 3 star establishment, no more, no less.

Wonderful place! Not a fancy yuppy joint by any means. The place is very clean and down to earth. Great food! Great people! I am a fan and will visit every year on our annual ski trip. Great games and arcade for kids and adults alike. Tons of TV's to keep Dad entertained as well! Love it!

As we waited over an hour for our table, wore out the arcade, drank a pitcher of beer, we got to thinking.... if we are downstairs at Eric's, what's upstairs? Eric's parent's house? Does Eric live in the basement? Good thing this place was pretty tasty 'cause that wait put a few of our amigo's panties in a bunch. Garlic white crust is the way to go - I went Hawaiian I had some wingy (baked) (coulda been spicier) (but wasn't too bad) (aren't paranthesis annoying?) Ironically, we ended up staying "in" that night, and it so happens there aren't too many places that deliver in Breck. So, we ordered take out from Eric's and picked it up at 9pm - it was ready right away and just as delicious as lunch!

This has to be one of the worst places I have ever eaten, let's talk about bad attitude, bad service, bad food. First the food... we specifically asked for hamburgers to be medium and they came out burnt and way over cooked. Second let's talk about the service... very inattentive, everyone around us was complaining, she walked by us many times and forgot what we ordered then forgot to bring us water then forgot to bring our food then disappeared ... Third let's talk about the management... they were more concerned about how much beer they could drink before the football game and not about how well their patrons were being served. We were watching them chug beers at the bar.... I am absolutely amazed that this place is still in business with how bad it was.

If you have to watch your team play, this may be the best option in Breck. Lots of TV's, arcade games to distract your kids, and standard bar grub. The veggie pizza was fresh and the all the crust options are pretty thick. Staff was really friendly as we were a large group and a bit obnoxious asking her to split the bill but only afterwards.

    (3)
  • L H.

A good standard in Breck. I've been coming here for about 20-yrs, stopping in once most times n town. You'd figure eventually you'd have a bad meal, but I've not had one yet! There is a good selection of beer and good food options. The calzones are huge and good. The. Pizza and burgers are always very good, too.

    (4)
  • Morgan M.

The food was alright. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, and although the presentation was nice, the spiciness of the dressing completely overwhelmed the salad. On the upside, very friendly service.

  • Raul C.

This place fit the bill to a "T". We ordered the hot wings as an app and they were awesome. The burgers were spot on (plain, Fernando burger and mushroom Swiss) as well as the rotisserie chicken plate. The prices were reasonable, especially for a resort town. If you go, get there early, it gets packed!

    (5)
  • G S.

Very disappointed...normally I love Eric's and it's a must go when in Breck but feel that the service and food have gone downhill...especially after waiting an hour to be seated. If I'm going to wait this long make it worth my while!

  • Amy K.

I'm downgrading my previous rating of four stars to three. I've been eating at Eric's since we lived in Breck back in '03 and it's always been consistently good, but not great. This last time we visited, the food was only OK - not bad but not as good as I remember.

I enjoyed a personal size sausage pizza, my husband the special which was Stromboli. We both really liked our food. The service was quick, I think we were in and out in 45 minutes (maybe less). It has a nice ambience you come to expect from Breckenridge.

Very popular place. Waited 1 1/2 hours to eat with a party of 6. Video games and bar for entertainment for all ages. Had a burger and was disappointed. Go for the pizza! Good tasting crust. Food 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5

STOLEN CREDIT CARD = $2000 MEAL. I wasn't sure who stole my credit card number in Breckenridge, but now I'm 100% sure it was this place. My brother came to visit me here in Breck, and the only place he used his credit card was here and his credit card number was stolen. My old, new, and coworker's credit card numbers taken from this place. If the owner isn't stealing the cards then he seriously needs to clean house.

Eric's is a classic. Great food, good atmosphere. It kinda reminds me of a college town local pizza spot, perhaps because of the amount of beer consumption I always associate with Eric's. If you're looking for pizza in Breck and beer to wash it down, I would recommend heading down the stairs...

Pretty good pizza and wings at reasonable prices, definitely one of the better options for food in Breckenridge. The hot wings pizza was pretty delicious, and the highlight was definitely the garlic white pizza crust. Their baked wings are solid as well, although I have to admit I think I liked their Thai sauced wings better. Definitely a cool atmosphere with lots of TVs and arcade games, making this a really great spot for a typically overpriced ski town.

I was here the Saturday before super bowl Sunday 2012. After hitting the slopes for several hours this was the place to be. The beer was cold, the pie was great! We had great service though I do not remember the waitresses name she was attentive. If you're in the area or just passing through a stop at Eric's is a great choice. When you come in from the street, head downstairs. Cheers

So many great looking things on the menu! We were in for a quick bite last weekend, while visiting a friend who was showing in a nearby gallery. I wish I had had more time in Breck! We've walked past Eric's a few times on previous trips to Breck, and I'm glad we finally stopped in. Well glad, because the food is great, and sad because now I see what I've been missing. The pizza's look amazing! But time was short, so I went with a burger. Hard to go wrong with Jalepenos, swiss, and spicy sauce stuff. Oh and the garlic twisty bread things... mmmmmm It can get a bit busy, even at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon, it was a 15 minute wait. Assuming you can stand the wait, the food is worth it!

Eric's was awesome! Blackened Tilapia Sandwich, Cheese Fries and Sweet Potato Fries are great. Price is right and atmosphere is fun. They take waiting list and text you when a table is ready so you don't have to stay and wait. Great place, highly recommend!

Not sure what all the hype is about with this restaurant? Decided to go here for lunch on our way up to Vail specifically because it received such high reviews. Located on Main St, the entrance to the restaurant is on the main level, but it takes you downstairs once you enter. Nothing special about the ambiance. Lots of flat-screen TVs. Pretty decent size restaurant. We walked right in as there was no wait. I ordered the BLT. My fiance ordered a chicken wrap. His meal came with a side of tostitos (seriously?) so he picked off most of my sweet potato fries (which were delicious, I must say... not soggy like usual sweet potato fries). My sandwich was pretty typical. Although it did come with turkey and ham for some reason, even though it just said BLT. Prices were pretty good for lunch. But again, what's all the fuss about? Maybe there's something I'm missing...

This place is loud and crowded with obnoxious people and their kids. While we were standing in line waiting to get put on the waiting list, some loud-mouthed cretin walked right up between my guy and the host and put his name in. The host didn't say anything about us being there first. Thankfully, the guy had a ton of people in his party and didn't get seated until after us. The bathroom was disgusting. The pizza was actually very, very good, and they had a gluten-free crust option! The crust was one of the better gluten-free ones I've tried at restaurants, and the toppings were very flavorful and balanced without being too salty. The atomosphere just was not my thing. Every couple of minutes the room erupted in screams over some game on TV. I don't cheer when Jesse finally kills the fly in 'Breaking Bad' or scream at the TV whenever Tyra puts on some stupid fake accent on 'America's Next Top Model', so I expect others to act civilized when their programs come on--especially in public. But I am in the minority. I don't know if they have take out but, if they do, I might try that next time.

My family loves Eric's. We inevitably eat at Eric's at least twice on any stay in Breckenridge. Terrific list of beers on tap for me and the kids love the arcade. The wait staff are very understanding of families with kids. Great place for large groups or just the family. Clearly my favorite in Breckenridge.

The ladyfriend, and two of our friends stopped in here after doing the DeCaLiBro 14er loop up in Alma earlier in the day. AWESOME beer selection, much much more than you would expect for this kind of place. It doesn't rival Falling Rock Taphouse in Downtown Denver or anything, but you definitely won't expect the selection this place has to offer. They even poured my Guinness properly! hooray! Service was standard -- the waitress was friendly, she was quick, polite, etc. The food was also fantastic! Grrrreeaat pizza. Ben and I split the Garbage pizza which is kind of an "everything" pizza that will satisfy a multitude of palates. The ladies split a veggie pizza which looked good enough that even a staunch carnivore such as myself would've eaten. It was a great crust thickness, perfect cheesiness, cooked perfectly -- and was still absolutely delicious two days leftover. One thing you'll notice about the interior is the Arcade when you first walk in. It's perfect for kids (and us older kids) to drop a couple bucks playing some games waiting for food, or just trying to hone your pinball skills before you leave -- because eastbound Sunday night traffic on I70 definitely creates a necessity for pinball skills. All around the walls in the bar are signs and old-style memorabilia. My favorite part was all the different signs for (possibly fake) other eateries. Clever names, cute signs, and definitely a fun time with all those signs. I highly recommend Erics. It's fun, simple, and won't disappoint!

After a cold long day skiing, this is a great place to replenish your energy with pizza and beer. It is located in the basement with arcades and shops around, it is very casual which is great when you are still wearing a ski jacket and a hat, loads of TV's to catch up on sports and fast service. We went yesterday around 7 pm. We were seated right away and enjoyed the long list of beers from locals to imports. I went for the wholewheat crust but you can also pick white crust or either with garlic, and added Klamath olives, artichokes and sundries tomatoes....it was delicious. My husband had their garbage pizza...their most popular pizza with tons of ingredients including pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms and many more. It is affordable, casual, friendly and quick and it has a nice energy. I am sure we will visit again soon

Hole in the wall environment and so-so service. Good pizza and apps with a very hefty beer menu. Basically gloried bar food. Go for the beer, not the pizza. It was good but not great.

Hmmm I had a mixed review about this place but overall it was a positive experience. I went here on 2 seperate occassions and each time the pizza was awesome but service was lack luster. The first time I was there the service was a bit on the slower side and when I requested for some napkins I literally had them tossed at the table. Granted it wasn't our server but the bussers we're friendlier and more appropiate than the server. She should take some of her tips and give it to them because I would've. Otherwise the beer selection was pretty spot on and eclectic choice of pizza options only is dwarfed by the size of the menus which are GINORMOUS! Definately love the arcade atmosphere mixed with brewhaha type locals. I think it's more appropiate to say that I'd come back after being a bit hazy instead of starting a night here.

What more can I say. This is the best affordable place to get beer and amazing food in all of Breck! I came back this past weekend for a much needed calzone (wheat, please!) and we also got to try their wings. Yummmm...I think I have found a new favorite wing place next to Tommyknockers now. I recommend the sweet chili wings, although they might be better with sriracha to spice them up. The beer selection is tops, and a great apres ski hangout right off the main street in town. Highly recommended.

My husband and I ate here on a recent ski trip. Excellent wait staff! Good atmosphere! Ordered some baked hot wings as an app and they were good! For my entree, I ordered a garlic veggie pizza. The pizza was fresh and on point! I'm not much of a drinker, so I asked the waitress what she would suggest and she hit the nail on the head!

  • Jack R.

I wanted to love this place, but... No such luck. Great beer selection and fun ambiance but the pizza had a solid half to three quarters inch of cheese on it. Way too much. This made the crust soggy. Combined with bland flavors = no bueno. My wife's French dip had the au jus spilled on the plate rendering it soggy as well. Better luck to future diners.

    (2)
  • Katie L.

We ordered pizza and baked wings and loved them both! After reading reviews it crossed my mind that a lot of the complaints about food were from people who ordered the kinds of food a "pizza" place isn't exactly known for. No wonder it wasn't awesome?!! If you go to Eric's order the pizza and you'll enjoy your dinner at a reasonable price and leave happy!

If you're looking for fine dine then go elsewhere. Awesome beer selection, great pizza/burgers. Cool sports atmosphere. Very popular so go early. Is Good! Yes!

The place seemed to be run by the kids in the arcade outside. Service started out okay, but went downhill when the appetizers came out with the entree, and a mistake was made on the entree. The food was so-so. The burger was pretty dry, but the rest was okay. The manager comped most of the meal, at least.

Can see why this place has so many great reviews. The wings were the best we have had in Colorado. My husband is from Western New York and he knows his wings:) The pizza was really good, all the veggies were fresh. We ordered Margaritas, they were served in a water glass, thats's why the 4 stars, I mean really what was up with that??? We went around 4:30 on a Saturday night and we had no problem getting a table.

  • Amy E.

Every time we head up to the Breckenridge area, Eric's is always on my brother's list because he LOVES their pizza. For me, it truly is "A-OK." Pizza isn't really my style but it's still pretty tasty and fairly priced. Most of their other items are your basic American fair: burgers, chicken tenders, etc., all of which are average. Long waits are common here, so stop in early (no reservations allowed). If you haven't eaten here yet, it's worth a stop in one evening for dinner or to grab a quick bite for lunch. Beer prices are really cheap here which is a huge plus!

    (3)
  • Lauren R.

My family loved the pizza here. Came back for carry out on our first night back to Breck for our second annual Thanksgiving week trip. The gluten free option was decent too. We love the video games and kids-friendly feel.

Not just great pizza. This place has an impressive beer selection and really friendly service. Definitely needs to be a Breckenridge tradition.

Place has great Pizza! I mean seriously LARGE pizzas. 1 could probably feed the whole family... I would suggest ordering 1 and then waiting til it comes out to see if you need another. We ordered 3 Larges and could not finish all of it with 12 people (all adults!) anyway, only reason not 5 stars was it was a little slow, but the server was nice and was working hard.

Excellent Service. My wife can only have gluten free meals and they have a gluten free pizza. She loved it. My cobb salad was excellent and the kids pizza was great. Great overall experience.

Great place to visit though it has always been packed when we come here. You wait for an hour to be seated and service is slow. Getting your food also takes a while but when it comes it tastes great. Good sized portions. Great if you want to have a good time. I would recommend this place if you are in Breck. They have an arcade that you can play in while waiting. Good drinks, TV's are a plus. Like!

Me and my boyfriend came here when we visited his family in Colorado. While in Breck we decided to go to Eric's to get some drinks and food. The drink was great... not sure what it was because I told them to surprise me, and suprise me they did in a good way! My boyfriend got some sort of pizza thing, and it was really good as well. I like this place because its just a fun little hang out. very trendy place.

While visiting from Arizona, we were looking for a good place for a burger. Chose Eric's and were not disappointed. Great food, great service!

Downstairs decent food, Not the best, but hey it's bar food people!! The great thing about Eric's is it's not break the bank expensive, its low key, unpretentious, and there is a bunch of video games and TV's you want great food don't come here go drop $300 at some upscale place you want a beer and burger this is it. just don't show up ob Sat night at 6pm forget it wait an hour++. This is not a five star place if anyone gives this 5 stars you must live under a rock. Seriously, where do you go from there - 5 stars? come on please.

Fun great place. Kinda college town atmosphere. We liked it great bar food. Very crowded so be prepared to wait; glad we did. Very reasonably priced fun spot in Breckinridge.

A true Breck tradition. Very busy and loud, so be prepared....but a "must see" place at least once. One of my fave places in town. Great beer selection....amazing pizza...their honey wheat crust is awesome. Après ski hours are busy! So be prepared to wait, but the wait is worth it.

Downstairs At Eric's is a must for a Breckenridge trip. The pizza is really delicious for the price (love the choice of garlic crust), and portions are sizable. I got the olive oil pie which comes with sliced tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms, basil and oregano...soooo good!

This area looked pretty cool With a lot of TVs, but that's all it's got. The food was average. The wings & pizza aren't anything to cheer about. The burger probably was the best thing and all the appetizer sucked.

We love pizza at Eric's. We come here every time we are in Breckenridge! The Garbage Pizza with garlic White crust was killer! The lava cake was really good!!!

Top Restaurant in all of Colorado??? Pretty close... Downstairs at Eric's is AWESOME...but prepare to wait to eat here. Anytime arriving after 6 pm may warrant a 1 hour to 2 hour wait. Sooo worth it though. If they open up both sides of Eric's (typically on weekends), you can wait in the big bar and get drinks. It's all good for that as they have all the local beers on draft. If you aren't a drinker, play in the arcade. They have some classic arcade games. Once seated, you can order beer from a menu that's a few pages long. With a good selection of drafts, they also have a huge variety of bottled beers. Each beer is organized by country/type in the menu. Appetizer: GET THE BAKED WINGS! To this day, these are my favorite buffalo wings ever! Get an order and split with a friend or just do like two orders for dinner. There is no way you will be disappointed. The server will let you know they might take a while because of the baking process. Well worth the wait. Dinner: More wings or order pizza. The pizza here is also quite good. You can choose from White / Wheat / Garlic White / Garlic Wheat crusts. Honestly, the crust is the best part of the pizza, especially if you have some ranch leftover from your wings. All of the pizza combinations are really good, just depends what you like. Eric's isn't really pricey at all. The worst part about it is trying to get a table. If you are only in town for one night only, this is your spot!

I thought it was a better burger than Empire... maybe because they got our order right... its deep down, dark, and filled with sports memorabilia and the mishmash of tv's. Obviously not your run-of-the-mill corporate formed drop in of another location according to the corporate master plan.... loved it. Service was good, environment was good, food was good... memorabilia was a little on the high side for prices but whatever... it's a tourist town.

    (4)
  • Adam A.

This place is constantly packed although I think that is mostly because it is one of the most famous tourist restaurants so everyone from out of town tries to come here. Expect to wait at least 45 minutes no matter what time of the night it is. At least you can amuse yourself in the fun arcade while you wait. The food is pretty average here but the service is good and the portions on their pizzas and other dishes are huge so you can't really complain.

A adult version of Chuckie Cheese without the mouse.. Saw the rave review of this place on Yelp and we decided to try it out on a Thursday night after snowboarding the whole day.. Gotta put back the calories I lost falling on my ass most of the day.. The wait was a hour and 15 minute so we decide to come back another day on our trip.. We came back on Saturday around 4 and the wait was only 15 minute... There is arcades outside of the restaurant.. a lot of racing game but no Street Fighter or fighting game.. I'm a big fan of fighting game.. We decided to order a large Garbage pizza for the 4 of us.. a order of fries and a pitcher of IPA beer since I ask for the strongest beer.. Order didn't take too long, around 15 minute max.. the fries came out and it was decent.. the pizza was good with all the works, kind of remind me of Chuckie Cheese supreme pizza but a little bit better.. brings back the childhood memory in me when I would eat my pizza and go punch Chuckie in the stomach.. Overall it was a pretty good pizza joint.. I would go back here again on my snowboarding vacation.. only when it's not as pack..

We came here on a Saturday night after it had just snowed all day. This place was packed. There was an hour and a half wait, so after taking forever to find a parking spot, we parked ourselves at the bar. They have a good selection of beer, the staff was nice and the buffalo wing smell was heavenly. As soon as we sat down, we ordered their baked wings and two pizzas. Their pizzas aren't great, but we could've had endless baskets of baked wings. They were super crispy and left your mouth in a spicy tingle. Everyone agreed, the wings were great, the pizza was 'meh', and the prices were good. Five of us spent $60 total on pizzas and wings - which for that price, its a steal in a ski town. It's a great spot to relax and grab a beer after a day on the mountain. Definitely going back.

They made my burger rare like I like it (even though the menu says they won't make it rare). The bun was toasted just right. It came with a full pickle. The fries were pretty awesome - thick, not greasy, and well seasoned. I don't know what they were seasoned with, but I ate them all. The service was great. There were plenty of beers on tap, including Backcountry Ale - brewed nearby in Frisco. It's a bit loud, and I had a headache as I came from sea level the day before. But the burger was worth it.

Full of kids most of the time.Service is efficient and fast. Our waitress was Ramee and she was excellent. They have a decent beer selection. Didn't like their desserts much though. Pizza was good, we opted for wheat crust and it wasn't as soggy as white ;) They're friendly and make you feel appreciated.

Nice, big restaurant on Main St in Breck. The servers are nice, the food is quite good and the beer is cold. They do have a pretty great selection of beer and lunch specials throughout the week. Definitely recommended.

A charming, always crowded bar/restaurant on Main Street in Breck. A good, not great, beer destination - Breck is a disappointing town for beer - but better than the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub on my trip. And they do seem to make an effort with their food, which is classic American bar style (including pizza). Nice little video arcade in the downstairs entryway. Charming vibe overall, though it's noisy. I had lunch at the bar - the baked chicken wings (a house specialty) were good. Great, friendly service from the bartenders, who gave me the 10% locals discount even though I was clearly a tourist. About fourteen taps. Basic macros, Harp, Bass, Guinness, Fat Tire. Craft beers included seasonals from Sam Adams and New Belgium, one or two from Breckenridge Brewing, and maybe two other Colorado beers. Many dozens of bottles available, though most are pretty typical imports - not a Colorado craft beer bonanza (though there were several cans from Oskar Blues). Not a craft beer destination by any stretch, but a decent first stop if you're already in Breck and want to find a good beer or two. I also saw lots of kids around (Saturday lunch time), so family-friendly, at least during the day.

Great casual dining spot in Breckenridge. And, the pizza is amazing. We tried two different pizzas. One was the Olive Oil Pizza- which doesn't sound the greatest, but trust me, it was. We ordered this pizza with a white garlic crust. The pizza itself is covered with tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach, fresh basil, and sautéed fresh mushrooms- a great combination. The second pizza was a pepperoni, bacon, and Canadian bacon pizza. Yum! We dined at Eric's after a day of boarding. Yes, there was a considerable wait, but the good news is that you don't have to wait in the restaurant. There are speakers upstairs so you can hear your name called, and the host even goes as far as to say that you are free to walk around the cute shops but to check back in "x" minutes. For gamers, there are arcade games in the waiting area. There is also a bar and gift shop to help pass the time. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The ambience loud and vibrant- lots of tv's with various sporting events on from around the country. The decor was a hodgepodge of sporting memorabilia. Downstairs at Eric's is a fun place chill with friends.

What I love about ski trip vacations (besides the obvious - skiing!), is the ability to wash away the makeup for a week, shed the high heels and dress up work clothes, and settle in to a super casual non pretentious mode. As some mountain destinations have become increasingly popular in the last 15-20 years, the types of restaurants and people who invade them have also drastically changed. Some small mom and pop restaurants and shops have been replaced with high end fur and jewelry stores, and all of a sudden you find yourself applying mascara to join the crowds for apre ski. OK, who am I kidding. I still wear mascara to ski for 8 hours. Downstairs at Erics is not the kind of place that attracts the fur clad crowd. Instead, you will find this place mobbed with trendy teens, the "local" ski bum crowd, and laid back vacationers looking for a decent burger at a reasonable price. The pizzas looked huge, the apps and burgers were classic American bar fare and our server was friendly, attentive and frequented our table despite the packed dining area. I would suggest stopping in to put your name on the list. Head out to grab a drink nearby and double back for dinner if the bar area is too crowded. Saved us our sanity from standing around watching the local teen scene play video games.

Don't go there expecting a fancy, intimate or quiet meal. This is a great place to bring the whole family and get a little rowdy while the adults are watching a game and the kids play video games. We have been there many times and have found that whether they are busy or not, the food is excellent. They have a huge menu and I honestly have tried almost everything on it and have never been disappointed. Yes it can be crowded and if you go at a peak time it can be a hassle just getting your name on the list. But I assure you it will be worth it in the end.

This place was horrible. Service was lousy on a Monday around 3pm and all their dishes were toooooooo salty. I've heard that when food is salty at restaurants it's because it's old. Yuck! We were a big group so I got to try several of the dishes. One of us ordered their onion soup and the cheese part of it was great however it was too salty. I ended up eating it because she didn't want to continue with the soup. Onion soup is salty no matter what but this one was exceptional salty. One end of the table ordered their buffalo wings with traditional buffalo sauce (and ranch on the side). I ate the last one in the basket - can't let it go to waste - and I also thought it was too salty. Geez! After we finished and paid the bill, everyone said it was a horrible place, they didn't enjoy the food and ALSO thought it was too salty. Yes, sssssaaallllllttttttttyyyyyyyy! Besides the food and service, the location is awesome - on the main street - and inside is filled with stickers, posters, etc.

My favorite place to eat in all of Summit County. I've been coming here on each visit to Breckenridge since I was a kid. Upside? Great food and good service Downside? The wait can get long. I've waited well over an hour to get a table before...but in my opinion, it's worth it.

Probably the best place to grab a bite & brew and hang out in a chill, non-pretentious place in Breck. Great wings, good pizza and burgers, and enough beers on tap. Recommend!

I was introduced to Eric's a couple of weeks ago after our first ski day in Breck. We were STARVING and I couldn't wait to get a nice cold fountain coke coursing through my veins. The guys started by ordering a plate of baked wings. At first I wasn't interested because I'm not a fan of wings in general, but when the steaming hot plate of chicken wings came out, my grumbling stomach forced me to eat one. Then another....and another! These wings are FANTASTIC!!! I am also a HUGE fan of Eric's because they serve sweet potato fries. I wish everyone would jump on the sweet potato fries bandwagon, because they're so good! I can't wait to ski again so that I can go to Eric's afterward!

I don't understand why is this place 4-stars? I guess ppl scored it based on the fact that it has arcade center, restaurant and bar all in one. But the restaurant is really the part of the place that everyone should escape from. This place sucks so bad that I bad mouthed it to everyone when we were at Breck. First of all the beer collection wasn't that great. Second, all the food tasted 3rd world. Pizza was yikey, the nachos was disgusting. My boyfriend ended up with food poisoning an hour after dinner. I was so puzzled by the line to get in here for dinner. What's wrong with the people?

E and I stopped here because he and the restaurant have the same name, and also because we had just finished hiking nearby Mount Quandary. We left the passed-out puppies in the car and enjoyed some post-hike hamburgers. I had cheddar and bacon on mine. It was an average hamburger but the fries were DELICIOUS. We also got bottles of beer (so good after a 14er climb!) and were excited to find that they carry Tommyknocker's seasonal Cocoa Porter. We laughed over the fact that we went to Tommyknockers a couple of weeks before and the Cocoa Porter was not available, yet Eric's had it because I'm guessing that they bought a bunch of cases when it was available. It was very good - like beer hot chocolate. That sounds bad, but it's really good, I swear! Prices were average for your general bar/restaurant. Service was ok but not great - i asked for 1000 island dressing for my fries, since it is sooooo much better than ketchup and by golly those amazing fries needed some superior sauce! And what do you know, there were 6 waitresses in the place taking care of us and two other tables, and yet my 1000 Island never appeared. *sniff* :( I'd love to give the place 5 stars since it shares my man's name (and HE certainly gets five stars :) ) but I can't. I just can't. And that's too bad...but if I'm in the area again and hankering for some french fries I'll drop in again.

Awesome! Walked in, during Ocktoberfest, and were told a half and hour wait. That's fine, the boys were occupied with the arcade. Grabbed a beer while waiting, and 10 minutes later we were seated. The place was packed, with a ton of positive energy. All the football games were on at every perfect angle. The pizza, WOW!! Great french onion soup. Awesome french dip, and great friendly service. We will definitely make this a regular spot!

I have eaten at Eric's once. I have attempted to eat at Eric's about 15 times. Each time I have been met with the promise of an 1+ hour wait. I am not a patient person. When I am hungry, I get cranky. For me, super tasty pizza and wings are not worth 1 1/2 hours of my life. The good: The pizzas are super duper tasty The wings are great The service is good The bad: You are eating/drinking in a basement with no windows The ugly: The wait... prepare to be patient or eat elsewhere

friendly, accommodating customer service. we had a party of 16 - 8 kids and 8 adults. the host was oh-so-friendly and told us he would make it work, despite a busy crowd watching college basketball... and he did! something for everyone - beers, pub food, and friendly, patient service. highly recommend for a dinner out with family(s).

Eric's is open and serves their full menu of food until MIDNIGHT, every night! This place saved us two nights ago, when we arrived late in Breckenridge and were starving. It's conveniently located on Main Street. You walk down the stairs and are welcomed by an arcade! Not only do they serve you food late, but the food tastes GOOD! And the waitress is honest. I asked her about the soup of the day and she steered me away from it, recommending the french onion instead. I totally appreciated it. Seems like any of their dishes with chicken are tasty. I split the Thai chicken salad and loved the spicy peanut sauce that accompanied it on the side. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich, which was also yummy. Totally laid-back restaurant with good food and reasonable prices.

Eric's finally updated their menu and now has a plethora of veggie food I can eat after a day on the hill side! They have a small but nice selection of beer on tap. If you don't want to wait in line push your way up to the bar and grab a seat. No wait times, good service, and quick refills.

OMG, a trip to Breck without a stop at Eric's is not a trip to Breck. Go for the beer on tap. Go for the cheese fries. Go for the pizza and ask for honey for the pizza bones. Go for the buffalo burgers. Get a cool shirt (even tho I've yet to do so). My parent's used to live in Blue River so every visit had to include at least one trip to Eric's. Even my dad liked it, which is saying a lot. They now live near Woodland Park so my visits don't always include the trek to Breck to indulge. So you need to do it for me. And tell Eric Penguin sent you. He doesn't know me, but he should.

Excellent. Waitress knowledgable about different beer selections (and they have a ton). Big menu with a bunch of choices. We settled on Garbage pizza w/white garlic crust (waitress recommendation) and it was awesome. Will def go back. Great atmosphere with or without families.

Went here during a ski trip over MLK weekend. The place was packed on a Friday night at 9pm. We were told that the wait for a table for 2, would be an hour. So, we got $5 in quarters, and played Joust, Gala, and a bunch of other games. The wait end up only being 30mins. Ordered a large pizza and a few beers. The Colorado crust is Amazing. Why cant we have pizza like this back in ATL? We liked this place so much, that we got it delivered for lunch to the condo we were staying in. So much better than the crap lunches you get served on the mountain. Warning...like half the places in Breck...they don't take AMEX.

Excellent and boisterous sports bar atmosphere. Great baked skinless hot wings, and terrific french onion soup. My friend Ben says they can't seem to screw anything up. Our waitress was as friendly and attentive as a (seemingly) prepubescent girl can be. And the beer selection was quite good. Last time we were in town, the pizzas were great. Kids had a great time, and there are many video games. Warning: the woman at the next table sounds like a biker from Alabama and swears like a sailor. Eric's is a popular local place: expect a wait even when the ski slopes are barren as the top of my head. Locals and tourists alike swarm here like termites to George Washington's teeth.

  • Winston C.

This use to be one of my favorite bars in Breck, and although the food is still good and the beer list robust- the fact that you can no longer eat or watch a game in the back bar is mind boggling. There was a two hour wait and to be seated in the main bar and restaurant and when you went to the back bar it was a ghost town. Doesn't make any sense to me!

    (4)
  • Lauren J.

This place is your typical bar food and beer kind of place. The food is good, and they offer happy hour specials (beer only). It has many tvs and makes it a great spot to watch a game and hang out with friends after a long day of skiing or just kicking it in Breckenridge.

I have driven up to Breck just for this pizza. I love the atmosphere here! Great pizza and arcade games, how cna you go wrong? You can't. Such good food, great service, a great town and if you have great people to share it with you're in for a damn good time!

I went by myself while the rest of my family went skiing. I was suprised to only have to wait 5 minutes for a table at noon. I have been to Breck the past 5 seasons, and had never stopped at Eric's. I was pleasantly surprised. My only disappointment was the salad was too wet to really make the dressing stick. I had gyros sandwich and sweet potatoe fries. Awesome. lack of a tzatziki sauce, but the ranch dressing was a good subsitute. Awesome service, my glass was never empty (a real pet-peeve of mine)

Love this place! Have been here several times after a day of snowboarding. Usually a wait for a table, but it's worth it. Great pizza/calzones and beer. Crowded, loud, but a lot of fun. If you're in town for the day you've gotta check this place out!

Delicious pizza and great beer selection! Fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the garlic crust, olive oil pizza. Worth the wait if there is one - sit at the bar and try the beer selections or play games in the arcade. They will text you when your table is ready!

I am telling you to get the BAKED wings!! I am still craving them 5 days later!! We also had the pizza which is very good. The kids had french onion soup (salty) and garlic stix (don't bother). The guac was fresh and tasty with home made chips We waited about an hour on a Friday after checking in about 7:45

Killer good pizza. Choose from different crusts like white. Honey wheat, garlic white, and another one I cannot remember. And drizzle the honey on the table on the crust. Ooh yum. Very good sweet potato fries. Get 'em with a side of honey mustard. Huge beer selection and lots of throwback video games. Ms. Pacman anyone?

A Review of Downstairs at Eric's. By Dimitri D. Downstairs at Eric's is a place I went to once but really wished that I could go again. I live in Massachusetts and this joint is in Colorado so that really makes things a problem. The atmosphere is nice and the food was excellent. I had some DELICIOUS wings with some kind of a honey-BBQ sauce. Their cheese fries were really good too. The fries were I'm pretty sure homemade and the cheese sauce was thick, gooey, and it freaking melted in your mouth. The place in general just makes a really nice place to go with family or friends and have a good time. (while enjoying a tasty meal!)

If you go to Eric's, you only need to know two words: baked wings. The baked wings (don't worry wing purists, they are also fried) are hands down the best that I have ever had and good enough reason alone to wait for a table for 40 minutes at Eric's on a busy ski Saturday. The order is also pretty huge too and is easily split between a table of 3 or 4 people. The rest of our meal was also tasty, but was really not much more impressive than your average good bar food. Eric's is definitely a new go to spot when I am in Breck; you don't even have to feel any guilt because you can just ski off all of the baked wing deliciousness when you're done.

Started our night while waiting for a table at the friendly bar. We should of stayed at the bar. Don't think about making a special request (ex., bacon bits on half of the order of potato skins). The waitress informed us that she would be yelled at if she asked the kitchen. The pizza was the worst I've experienced in years. I won't go back.

The atmosphere here is very fun, and relaxed. It's a very busy place, so expect a wait. They do hussle out with the food and drinks though. I did have a bad experience with the Gluten free pizza however. My waitress didn't put the order in for gluten free pizza and I ended up with the regular one apparently because I became very sick after. The pizza I did eat was great, too bad it wasn't gluten free crust. Ruined my Thanksgiving evening, so no Turkey dinner for me. The husband and son shared nachos, which they weren't thrilled about. Cheese was burnt on one side and they said it made the whole plate taste funny. They did like my pizza though. We did call back later to complain. They said the kitchen had never received a gluten free pizza order and that the waitress must have made an error and were eager for us to give them her name off the ticket. I would go back and try it again, just be extremely vigilant about making sure I get Gluten Free next time.

Went here with friends while on a ski trip. The pizza looked good, so we ordered a Greek pizza and a Garbage pizza (everything). They asked us white kind of dough, and I found out we could order garlic dough, so that sounded interesting. While we waited for the pizza we got some potato skins with chili, and they were pretty tasty. The pizza ended up being pretty bad. The toppings were just OK and the dough was not to my liking. It was undercooked and the endcrust was like a doughy braided bread stick. Not what I like at all, though I bet some people would. Decent enough place to grab some food, but not eager to go back. I could see it being fun for families as they have all the video games, and beer.

Pretty much have to hit up this place everytime I am in town. Great place to watch sports. The crowd is always great not matter the time. Service is always speedy, but never rushed. The food is bar food, but good bar food. It can get crowded, even for such a big place, but it is worth it.

Two words: Buffalo Burgers. Mmmm... Never tried a buffalo burger before and was curious to see what the fuss was about. Leaner than beef, and every bit as tasty! Prepared nicely, served with fries. Mmm... Start your meal with buffalo wings and you're off to a great start. Service is good and friendly and pretty quick. Well worth the trip.

A long time LOCAL spot which is always good. If you come to Breck you MUST eat here at least once and then you will be back. Always busy because locals know it is a great fun place to come and have good food and fair prices.

If you're a pizza freak like me, this pizza is average at best.

The arcade was an incredible hit with my 8 yr old. We killed some time here on Sunday night and the line was long and snaking through the arcade. We held onto our booty of quarters and came back after skiing the next day when there wasn't such a crowd. My Asian Thai salad was good - the spicy peanut dressing was "lick the little plastic cup bottom" good. Big, big salad - it looked like an entire salad bag which was a little over the top; great sliced marinated chicken on top. My WingNut son had, you guessed it - wings. (He's going to fly away soon.) He thought they were a little too saucy, but liked the heat. Our waitress was great -- refilled my personal water bottle and kept our drinks topped off. I don't know if it's worth the wait when it's busy, but great bar-like atmosphere and one of the video games from the arcade is now on his 9th birthday list.

Every time we come to Breckenridge we have to come here. The pizza and sandwiches are the best in town and the prices are fair. On any big game day there will be an extended wait, however, you have the arcade games to keep you occupied.

Everytime I travel out of state I try to find a good white pizza. I found this spot driving around downtown Breck. They didn't have any white pizza's so after looking at the menu the first pizza on the menu was the Garbage pizza. Waitress recommended it so what the heck. Just like the name, it was Garbage. If your a fan of tomato sauce then pick this pizza because that's all i tasted. I had one slice and got down to the crust and it was a bit uncooked. There's many choices here for pizza but this Garbage pizza should be taken off the menu. Fail. The hot wings were good but they charge for additional sauces. Fail. Not sure if I would come back but if I do it will be for the beers and arcades.

We dropped in here recently for lunch and although we didn't order pizza it looked delicious with tall crust and lots of toppings. I had the french-onion soup and loved it- topped with thick croutons and a massive amount of cheese. Also their french fries were great and if you ask for ranch you're not looked down upon. They have tons of choices on their menu if you are not big on pizza. Lots of chicken sandwich options and a hummus and veggie sandwich that looked amazing.

This place is fun and relaxing break from skiing if you have the opportunity to go. All of the food was average-above average and they have a huge and reasonably priced beer selection. Most of us had pizza (Garbage, Olive Oil, Veggie) but I heard the sandwiches were good too. The atmosphere (old signs from all the businesses in Breck cover the walls) and all of the arcade games and pin ball machines were sweet. Any place that has good pizza and Ms. Pac Man for a quarter is A-OK in my book.

We ordered the pizza and it tasted like something I was served in my elementary school cafeteria. It was really gross.

Wow! Amazing place! Games, fun, pizza, this place has it all! Can't go to Breckenridge without going to Eric's!

Eric's ROCKS! The food here is really good and cheap for a resort town. Arcades offer lots of entertainment while you wait about 2 hours for a table. The pizza is out of this world and the sandwiches rock too. The fries are so crispy and delish, a major requirement for me. I've got a buddy that works at one of the ski shops on Main St., so whenever I'm here we head to the bar downstairs and slug some pitchers- $8 for PBR which is pretty standard.

Everywhere else just sucks. Well, not completely true but this place is fun, inexpensive with lots of great food and decor.

The perfect Apres Ski dive. It is windowless and underground giving you the womb like feeling you desire after a long day of exposure in the bowls. The food is greasy and hot in both meanings of the word. Surprisingly no one I went with got any pizza, but the chili and wings are worth the trip over icy roads and sidewalks to make it here. Great selection of beers on tap. From local micro brews to imports. Nothing like sharing a pitcher with yourself to soothe away the pains of learning to snowboard. My glowing five star review may be tainted by the fact that all food tastes better after a day on the mountain, but certainly this is my favorite place in town, and who here hasn't been on the mountain all day?

We make this a stop everytime we are in Breck. Fun dynamic atmosphere with great food and reasonable prices. The service is always great. No wonder it is always busy.

Great pizza and a good beer selection. The pizza here comes in a wide variety with some more exotic toppings (feta, sun-dried tomatoes), but the standards are great if that's what you're looking for. The pizza has a "Colorado crust", which is more doughy than others. It's tasty, but not heavy. Their sauce was really good as well. It's very casual and would be a good spot to take kids too. They have a ton of arcade games if that's what you or your kids are into.

When I visit my Sister in Frisco we always head here after a day on the slopes. This is our favorite place to refuel our bodies with the 1,000 or so calories we burned while skiing the day away. If you are already starving when you get here and there is a long wait get a hardy beer to tied you over for the often 45 minute wait. And playing old school arcade games with a slight buzz while you wait will let you forget you are waiting... When you finally get to order forget everything else on the menu and order pizza. The garlic white crust is perfect in every way - they also offer wheat but I do not like it as much as the white. The sauce is also perfectly flavored with Italian herbs. I like the build your own Pizza choice. Our favorite so far is double Buffalo meat and Mushrooms with extra sauce and cheese on the garlic white crust. It tastes and smells like homemade meatloaf! And as I recall they brag about having 120 beers to select from....
