Thank you Dina and Outback Steakhouse Staff! I can't say how wonderful it was to have her and Eliseo help us while traveling back from Coachella today! We had been on the road since 9am going to pick up our new kitten in Coachella Valley in 111 degree heat. We decided to stop for dinner and had our new kitten in a carrier and were concerned we wouldn't be permitted to eat there. I had been wanting to eat at Outback Steakhouse since driving part it while visiting Upland. Dina was so sweet by opening up the outdoor patio for us and setting up a table just for us! I couldn't believe it quite frankly! Eliseo was great with getting us quickly situated and making sure our server would be right out. Alysa was very attentive and just a great server. She was constantly checking up on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The Manager on duty, Ulysses, was kind enough to come and speak with us regarding the preparation of the Seared Ahi as I had requested no sesame seeds. It happened to be prepared with sesame oil and I appreciated the attention to detail. My husband ordered the steak kabob well done and it arrived perfectly prepared. No pink in sight and still wonderfully juicy. I ordered the Salmon not well done but not dry and it arrived BEYOND perfect. I have never had a restaurant able to make my salmon exactly the way I've requested it. This cook and the whole staff deserve an incredible thank you from us! With 2 mixed drinks, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer and and a soft drink it came to $69. I totaled my bill out at $90 since the whole evening was just wonderful! Thank you everyone we will be coming back.

Waiter didn't even know the specials they have. I only got my water refilled once! I didn't know a well done steak meant burnt! She checked on the table next to us more then she checked on us and they came in after We did. The floor had food on it and we waited 20 mins for our food

I'm currently dehydrating at the moment because our waitress seems to find it more important to hide rather than refill our drinks. It took her almost 25 mins to take our food order and seems to be rushing us. The food hasn't even made it to or table and I'm so ready to leave. Even the bussers make you feel uncomfortable by rushing you. Thank you waitress for starting our family outing with a rough patch and starving children! Horrible service. Definitely will not be returning to this establishment again.

Good place for a beer and a bloomin onion. I can only speak about the bar. Happy hour all day Sunday with great appetizers at a reasonable price.

Did I mention that the Upland, CA location does not take Outback coupons or have many of the national specials? Bummer.

First off . Sean was an amazing server hilarious dude that was on top of his game and honest which is a big deal , even though he's a lefty ;) lol ... Seared ahi was delicious could have ate it all night . Everything about this location is top notch . I will return here monthly and request Sean every time

Received a letter today from Joe Gatto, the Joint Venture Partner. He thanked me for my visit to the "Temecula" store (I went to the Upland store), and addressed the letter to "r. Olsen" (my name is Eric Olsen). It is clear the letter was a form letter and whomever typed it spent so little time on it, they couldn't even bother to verify they had the details correct.

We had a very pleasant waitress but the food was very disappointing. Since when are filets (or any steak, for that matter) a half inch thick? It looked more like roast beef. Unfortunately, the best part of the filet and lobster tail (three tiny pieces) I ordered was the steamed broccoli. If you're looking for a good steak, look somewhere else.

Not too long of a wait on a Saturday evening for dinner, have not been here in a long time and used to like the blooming onion so we ordered one and we were very disappointed, the onion was very bitter, not like the ones we had in the past that had a nice flavor. Entrees came, prime rib and baby back ribs and they were good. Service was decent but not over the top. Not our first choice for a steak but not our last either. Solid 3 stars

WE have been going to Outback for over 20 years, the 1st time we ate at one was in Florida, which btw is where they started. We were hooked, since we traveled all over the country we pretty much ate there a few times a week. Service was always excellent and the food was always the same no matter where you went, until now....we go to the Upland restaurant fairly often but after tonight I'm not sure if we will be back any time soon. We ordered off of the "No Worries Wednesday" menu. I had actually looked up the promotion online before we got there. The 1st thing we noticed was that the menu offerings and prices were not the same as was advertised. Our server was very nice and courteous. I ordered and paid extra for a 9oz sirloin and it looked like a 6oz, then it was filled with fat. I complained about the size they brought me a larger one, which was nice. Then as we were sitting there we noticed a girl (who we guessed worked there) walk behind the bar in street clothes and her hair was loose and very long and she was ordering on the computer, then if that wasn't unsanitary enough, she walked back to the kitchen area several times. Her hair was not tied up and she was not in uniform and the manager went with her so I guess this happens often. Anyway, besides that we have noticed that the portions are getting smaller & smaller and the meat quality is not what it was and you pay higher prices. the sad thing about our visit tonight was that even though we ordered from the special menu, our food was more than if we had just ordered off the regular menu. So that is why I had to write this review, sorry Outback, but with all the restaurant choices there are nowadays, I can go so many other places and pay similar prices and get more food and better quality for the same price.

Food-mediocre Service-horrible Server (Raul)- uncaring, should not be a server. He was so bad it's like he was telling us through his mind not to tip him because he didn't care what service he gave us. Will not come back.

Haven't actually tried the steak yet but the plate I got was really good. The waitress was friendly and quick, and the complimentary bread is delicious!
I took my dad to this establishment for his birthday, it was very subtle, my food (teriyaki filet medallion) was delicious, the staff were very friendly nd prompt, they really put an effort into teamwork which carried our visit very smoothly. The restrooms are clean too. The only thing that slightly bothered me was not removing excess dinnerware that was no longer being used from appetizers but that was very minor, first world issues huh, #US #brats Great place indeed overall not 2 mention a very attractive waiter ;)

Went out with my parents for my moms birthday. Food was awesome. Server was consistent on asking how everything was. My plate consisted a 12 oz steak w/ garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Loved it.

We love our local Outback so when it's time to take Mom out for a steak we go to her local Outback. This one. The service was up to expectations, but my bone-in ribeye was a bit under seasoned and a bit overdone. My son had to send his steak back as it was underdone. Didn't hear any other complaints but at their prices there should be no complaints about the food. Still left a nice tip as the waiter hustled to take care of our party of six.

Ordered salads for take away and they gave us the wrong dressing. Of course, we didn't notice until we got home about eight miles away. It kind of ruined the experience. Usually the blue cheese salad is fantastic, but part of the taste is the correct dressing. This was not the best experience. I'd give this location a break had we not called to complain and got disconnected three straight times. I suggest they get their take away section in order.

What happened to this place? Our bread was cold, our butter was hard like they just pulled it out of the freezer, my salad had no dressing on it, my husband's diet coke was flat, and my filet was really fatty! My husband enjoyed his steak and our waitress was nice but I was really really disappointed in everything else. We won't be going back.

Had high hopes, have not been to an Outback in a few years. The Hostess was friendly and fast to seat us. Our server Amanda was great, she was attentive friendly and we never had to ask for anything she anticipated our every need. Sadly the best part of the meal was the bread and coke. I ordered the chicken and my buddy ordered the steak. BOTH were dry and flavorless as were my mashed potatoes. I did bring it the attention of our server and she let the Manager know and offered free dessert. The Managers apologized that was it. I was expected a discount off the bill but wasnt going to ask for one. wanted to see how they would handle it. FAIL!!! for what they charge they should better quality control on the food they put out Lesson learned, Will never go back at least I havent gotten sick yet. DEFINITELY GET THE BREAD Tho
(2)
Danielle S.
Slow service, mediocre food, and pricey. Yup, not coming back. Also, your choice of soup or salad counts as your side. Had to be told it was extra for my soup when I ordered two sides b/c that was what the menu description said it came with. I had no problem with it, but my second choice of side did not make it to my plate. I was not charged, but it was very annoying. Considering I had to wait 20min to get bread, another 10 for my soup, and my plate came out with mostly garnish, I was wondering what the hell 30 bucks bought me. Place is always busy, so good luck, maybe ours was just a fluke.

WOww. It astonishes me that this me people have had subpar service at Outback. I guess it's hit or miss here. Dined at Outback on a whim 2 days ago and to be honest, I thought service to have personally been outstanding. Upon walking in, I was greeted and the hostess (with the most'ess) even opened the door for my boobie' and I. A nice change for once, to have a lady open the door for a guy, lol. We were seated immediately and the waitress was outstanding attending to our every need. We both ordered Lemonade (mine Strawberry) and she never so much as let our glasses reach empty. I did get gas from the Aussie fries but that's neither here nor there. It's my own damn fault for requesting EXTRA CHEESE when I'm clearly lactose intolerant -_____-
Not $9.99 like what tv says but $12.99. Feel tricked.

I ate lunch here with my mom and brother last Saturday for lunch. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we were seated at a table near the bar. My mom and my brother both got the Outback special. OMG their steaks were soooo juicy and tender! It made me wish I had ordered the same thing. But since I had steak for dinner the night before, I ordered the chicken caesar salad. The chicken was super tender too and I loved the caesar dressing! I tried some of my brother's baked potato and my mom's french onion soup. Both were amazing! The restaurant seemed pretty slow for a Saturday. There weren't many customers and I only saw 3 different people working that day. Service could have been quicker but it wasn't too bad.

Not a huge fan of chains but had a gift card so decided to give it a second shot. We had been to this location about a year ago and weren't impressed. This visit was worse. Had to send the steak back because it was literally raw and salad came out with no dressing. Service was good, food was below par.

My husband ordered the 13 oz ribeye and I went for their new appetizer with seared pepper ahi tuna and slaw and both were good.

Negative 5 stars. Horrible customer on the phone...even worse in person. The manager was so rude I couldn't believe it! He actually laughed at us when we asked about seating! Headed to Black Angus!!!

If I could I'd give this place no stars or even negative stars! My boyfriend and I went I for a quick drink and some finger foods, the bartender was thee most rude and disrespectful lady EVER! I ordered a blended drink, well she went to make the drink, as I watched her grab the blender and smell the left overs in the blender and NOT EVEN rinse it out just poured what I had ordered right on top of the OLD leftovers in the blender, when I told her I couldn't drink it she gave me a dirty look and asked what was wrong with it. She never once conversed or smiled. She made my boyfriend and I feel like we were a nuisance to even ask for waters! Because of her they lost some loyal customers.

We go here several times a month and have previously enjoyed our experience. We have in the past found the wait staff very friendly and efficient.....until tonight. The service was terrible! Had a serva named Salwa ( ?)..,,. Could tell right away she had an attitude. She only came to our table to take the order, refill our drinks (close to the of the visit) and then we had to wait awhile to get the bill. She didn't even bother to ask if everything was ok. She was pretty much absent from the area the entire time we were there. If I ever get her again I will not hesitate to ask to be moved.

Let me start by saying that my server Sean was fantastic. Other than him, the rice was blah, my steak was blah, the shrimp scampi was Ok, the salad at Denny's is just as good. As a matter of fact, I like Denny's better at half the price.

Good food . the hostess doesn't know how to greet was there at 3pm Sunday. The food takes forever to get to you .I had a good waitress that's always a plus.. Ventilation could be better in the outer dining area crank up the fans..over all rating low average..

Two stars for the drink and server. Now I read the cool reviews about Outback in Upland...I have dinner there before, and left unsatisfied, but they had good reviews lately, so I tried them again. BIG MISTAKE! Filet and Lobster...server asked me if I wanted a doggie bag....I did not have the heart to tell her I wouldn't torture my dog with this crap! Lobster was quarter cut and soaked in greasy burnt butter and the filet was very small and dry....looks.like they half the best part of cut...horrible! come to think about it the crab cakes tasted stale...must be frozen? ok....I leave pretty critical reviews, but this place is horrible...not going back....I have given them 3 trys....count em...Three trys! and this is all they got? frozen fish and lousy meat! seriously...Outback should be embarrassed. poor value for the money, but more important.....lousey food! you guys flunk!

Had a sandwich this evening that came with bacon...bacon was not done..told waitress to tell the chef he could feed the bacon to his dog and she said she would tell him...no sorries. no manager involvement it was like oh well...manager if you see this review it was this evening approx. 7 30 and bill was for $104.00..although we tipped over 20% your cook is causing your waiters to lose tips and your waitress should have brought the undercooked bacon to your attention

Why advertise call ahead when there is none? Called ahead, 15 minute wait. Got here in 15 and after we arrived they put us on the wait list for another 15-20. So where's the incentive to call ahead? It got us exactly nowhere.

Outback used to be one of our favorite restaurants, not anymore. Their prime rib was to die for -- large cuts, tender, could be ordered rare, fantastic! Now, pale, thin, tough, overcooked, over seasoned slabs that are identical to one another, like they came out of the microwave. My friends and I ate there recently and we all had the same exact piece -- identical. Their ads for fresh food are a misnomer. Salad limp. The only good things were the drinks and the seasonal mixed veggies. Avoid! Avoid!

I love me some steak so I was looking forward to coming here but oh gosh, never again!! The waitress was extremely rude and it was my uncle's birthday dinner so we were not in a bad mood at all. Also, they serve very small portions. We had to order an extra plate of fries and there were so few fries we could count how many were on there. 13. Food is okay, service sucks. Best Part: Coconut Key Limarita!

The bar area is where it's at. If there's a spot, don't wait to be seated. They've got great service here. Sean did a great job at being respectable and personable.

Found a gift card in my wallet that has to be 3 years old... seeing as that was the last time Thomas Jefferson and I went to Outback HA! Anyhoo I went to the 'take-out' booth located in back of this location where Devinne assisted me most efficiently. I ordered my favorite from this establishment, "What is that you ask?" Coconut Shrimp with their Creole Marmalade sauce (although I like Apricot Horseradish with mine) She took my order and kept me company while I waited... she was polishing silverware as we conversated. (just need to state that in case the management reads this and think she was slacking off) LOL As of June they started opening early on weekends so if you are looking for a place to get some nums-nums after Church don't count this place out. Also on a HOT day (such as today) the Bar area looked awful inviting with cold Australian Beers to quench the thirst!! Respectfully Reviewed

Call ahead and reserve a table. I enjoy this place in particular, quiet, clean, service is good, haven't had any food issues. As always the blooming onion rocks, just ask for an extra side of sauce. Prices have slightly increased but so has everything else everywhere else, no big deal.

Food is always good and I always receive good service.. No matter who that happens to be. I know it's a steak house but if you're ever in a "fish" mood, try the tilapia with pure lump crab meat... Alway delicious!

My review would be negative stars if I could it took for ever to order to begin with server was rushed and said he was triple over booked in his area. The food : I ordered a steak rare the first time I got well done in fact probably charred beyond recognition so server says the manager makes it the best be right back.....I need to stop here because I really hate with a passion sending my food back and was really over it already but no I let them take a second attempt....the second steake was way thicker but charcoal on the outside tasted like lighter fluid (I suspect a oil or butter to make a flame) tasted horrible!!!!!! And you could still see all of it saturated on the surface of the burned steak that tasted like chemical and burnt leftover food on the grill....yuck! I love outback just looks like I'm avoiding this one!

I went yesterday evening. Normally I've had pretty good experiences, but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had here. Quite unfortunate. The waitress was very friendly and nice. No complaints there. However the wait time for the food was very long. It took nearly 30 minutes for our food to arrive. After the food did arrive it was was sub-par. My husband had the steak, which he's had many times before. The steak was bland, extremely dry, and possibly pre-frozen. It didn't taste right but we were too hungry and didn't think to send it back. Big mistake! He got a stomachache immediately after we left the restaurant and continued to have it into the next day. The waitress' service is the only thing keeping me from giving this place 1 star. Not good. :(

I thought the ribs were amazing. Service was great and the drinks were good. I would return here. The only thing I didn't get a chance to try was desert. But I'll save that for next time.

awesome steaks, decent salads, seafood is acceptable (for a steakhouse!) the wait for seats may sometimes be excessive at this location, but the food will not disappoint. the to-go service is especially helpful as they bring the food out to you.

Selina L.
I have been to this location a few times and its always decent. Good when I want a decent steak but dont wanna spend as much as I would at a finer steak house. But this last visit was EXCELLENT and is what pushed me to finally yelp it. We always receive good service but this waitress really went out of her way to make our dinner experience great. She took the initiative to give us recommendations without being pushy and the ones that we went with were dead on good. Everything was delish but receiving excellent service makes me feel like I am really getting my moneys worth.

Really disappointing meal last night. Service, as usual, was great, but the meal - not so much. Got the Steak & "Lobster" special. #1, the two "lobsters" were about the size of largish shrimp. Literally, two bites each. Special only came with one side, when other entrees come with two. Had to add a salad on for an extra cost. #2. The steak was even smaller than the 7 oz steak my husband got. #3. The margarita tasted weird! Ultimate bummer.....

Overall It was AlRight. Just don't have the Seared Ahi Tuna with its sauces. Why? Because it Tastes like S..t = Salt (bet you were thinking, lol, ya that too!) Service was better than the food. And because of that - I'd give it, in the voice of Timmy T, "One More Try."

If I could minus stars I would!!! SUPER SLOW after ordering. Manager let's servers look horrible by letting food orders get stacked up on a Friday night! WORST managed restaurant I've been to in a LONG time! NEVER AGAIN!

Weak long island ice tea and its flavor was off. Served what looked like warm squaw bread but the waitress said it was honey wheat. Their meat portions were small and overcooked. The table next mine were celebrating a birthday and 4 waiters came over and clapped twice, sung one short verse of the happy happy birthday song and walk immediately away. It was the quickest celebration I'd ever seen. A group of young patrons were banging on the table, speaking with profanity and laughing loudly; the restaurant management did not ask them to quiet down or anything. Who's in charge? Their prices are too expensive for the amount they serve or the service they offered. I have been to a couple of Outback Steakhouses and my visits have been very enjoyable but I will not be returning to this one.

I have always liked outback, but this one was horrible. They had the worst service that I have ever experienced at a major chain. They were not busy yet the server couldn't seem to keep up with anything we asked for. We wanted steak sauce and he brought it after our steak was done!!

Too lazy to cook + gift card= a relaxing dinner here! We came at early bird time which was very nice because the place was not packed, and we could use our "indoor voices." Our server was very conscientious and timed all courses of our meal perfectly. She is definitely someone we will be asking for in the future! The fresh bread and butter is a nice filler, as was the blooming onion -- but not a fan of the dipping sauce. Much better with ketchup. I had steak and lobster tails. My husband had prime rib. Both dishes were cooked as we requested. Overall, pretty good. I would definitely choose this place over the other chain, steakhouses in the area.

This is THE best Outback of them all. SERVICE is the best. Everyone is nice here as well as extremely efficient. Food is better than most other locations. We eat here 2-4 times per week, it's that good.

The First Time My Friends And I Went There, The Hostess Let Her Friends, Who Came In Way After Us And Other People, Get Seated Before Anyone Else. Of Course Everyone Complained And The Hostess Couldn't Understand What Was So Wrong, Her Friends Were Paying...Some People Complained To The Manager And Left, Other People Got Comped..We Got Comped Drinks And Dessert. Hostess Got Reamed By The Manager!!! The Second & Third Time We Went The Service Was Horrible, Orders Were Wrong For the Whole Table And Some Food Sides Were Forgotten. The Fourth Time Was Because Of A Birthday, I Wish I Hadn't Gone!!! Last I Heard And Ate Rare Steak Was Supposed To Be Red Not Well Done, Server Tried To Say I Was Seeing Things...Yeah Right...Sent Steak Back And Had Order Cancelled. Manager Found Out A Food Order Was Cancelled And Came To The Table To Ask Why, I Told Him And He Shook His Head. There Was Nothing He Could Do For Me At That Point. He Comped The Table Desserts & Drinks. I Refused Anything From Him!!! Complete Waste Of Time For Horrible Food And Service!!! Never Again!!!

Went here with a group of 9 for a birthday. Service was nice. They bring out bread and butter for you while you're deciding what to order. I like how there are steak menu items that are affordable for those of us on a budget. I got a 7oz steak that came with soup or salad and a side all for around $13. Their appetizers are also delicious including the blooming onion and the artichoke cheese flatbread.

Got the chicken griller with rice. This rice texture was good but the flavor is kind of bland and boring. I really can't believe a place this decent serves this. The little flavor this rice did have was just gross like hospital food. We had to ask for bread way after our drinks and salads came. I actually just thought they didn't serve it anymore because so much time had past. Didn't care much for our waiter. He was very insincere.

Excellent service!!! We had a party of about 16 for my sisters wedding dinner.we had 2 servers who made us feel at home and gave the best service i ever had at any restaurant. This was my first time at an Outback and will not be my last! Thank you Ashley L. For first class service :)

When my Son was younger we ate here but they burned his burger so bad we never came back. Tonight we decided to go back and give the place another chance; needless to say they have seen the last of us. Took a few minutes to seat us even though we were the only people waiting. We were seated in a corner where there were no people so we felt isolated. The steaks were tough, grilled chicken breast was dry and we had to ask for steak sauce. Isn't that automatic when you order steaks? The waiter was cheerful but that was the only bright spot. If you want steaks that are done right go somewhere else!!

I went here for lunch with my daughter who has to eat gluten free and lactose free. The place was dead when we got there; we were the only customers for lunch. The service was fantastic and the food was great, too. They have a gluten free menu that is very extensive and the wait staff was knowledgeable what 'gluten free' really means. Our waiter came back to our table twice with information from the cook about our order. The sweet potato, which my daughter originally ordered, is doused with butter before cooking, so she had to change her order to the sweet potato fries, which are GF, LF and delicious. They also took great care to make sure her steak and lobster meal was cooked without any vegetable oil or butter. They made her steamed veggies without butter as well, so she was good to go. I was worried about the lobster being dry without the benefit of butter, but my daughter said it was delicious, as was her steak and veggies. I had a GF grilled chicken salad with a GF balsamic dressing that was delicious. The staff was fantastic, and the food was delicious. We will go back since it is hard to find restaruants that truly understand what it means to be GF and LF, and still make a good meal.

My friend and I had dinner there last night, the salad was dry as if the lettuce wasen't washed and chilled, the appitizer came during the dinner, the steak came rare, it was ordered medium, had to send it back for more cooking, the wine came when we were finally done eating, had to send it back, we won't be back any time soon.

I'm usually not a fan of chains, especially fast food, but for the most part, I've liked Outback. I feel that we get our money's worth when we eat there, and the food is usually pretty tasty. After the Road to California Quilt Show, we stopped in for dinner here. We had the seared tuna appetizer, which was very good, and I had the special sirloin and lobster dinner, which was quite good. The sirloin was a little tough, but very tasty. We'll go back again!

My friend and I had lunch here on Sunday. I was very surprised to see that the place was nearly empty. because it used to always be a full house. However, the service was very good (friendly and courteous) . They were very patient with meeting the needs of my handicapped friend. The food was great, especially the "big onion!" We intend to give Outback more of our business, since they earned it. If anyone had a bad experience here, it must have been on an off day, or the management has taken comments seriously and is working on improvements. Looking forward to our next visit.

Best rack of ribs ever....puts Tony Roma's to shame. My Outback Burger was excellent and allowing a baked potato instead of fries is awesome. Great atmosphere, excellent service and good food and low prices make Outback a winner.

Lets see, I like steak, and after receiving a $50 gift card for Christmas, I figured I should give this place a shot, and see what this steak from the outback was all about. To be trite, I was disappointed. The steak was bland (I had the Melbourne, medium-rare) and looked... well, not like what a $25 dollar steak should look like. I'm really regretting the bloomin' onion as that was a lot calories I could have done without, the Cesare salad was wilted, and... the waiter kept saying everything was "coo" (cool). Literally, "Is it coo if bring that out for you?" "Would you like a refill, okay, that' coo," "Mind if I go ahead and process this? Coo," and on top of that, he could have been an extra in Prison Break.

We had received as a wedding gift a gift card to use here. We finally got around to using it the other night. It had been a while since we had a nice meal out (meaning a big juicy steak). It was during the week and not many people were there. We got seated very quickly. They had a few promotions they were advertising. One of which was the Beach Bum Blonde Ale. I decided to try it, while my husband ordered Newcastle. Both were served very cold and were refreshing. As a splurge we got the Bloomin Onion. I wasn't planning on having the appetizer, but we were both so hungry that I had a hard time resisting. For dinner I ordered the Victoria Crowned Filet w/Blue Cheese. It was very yummy. The Blue Cheese was crusted and baked on top of my center cut. I was surprised that Outback actually prepared my steak to a true Medium-Rare. Many times I ordered it this way because I know the steakhouse will overcook it beyond this point. But true to form, Outback was dead on. My husband enjoyed his Rare Prime Rib and Crab legs. It was nice to have this kind of meal. It was the first time I'd ordered steak at Outback. I'll make sure to order it again.

Without sounding like too much of a sellout, I like this place! That, and I'm pretty easy to please. You have got to REALLY screw up or be really bad to get a negative review from me. I've always had good service and the food always comes out consistently and in good sized portions. I typically stick with the meat-based dishes such as the prime rib, pork chops, etc., and they've always been good. I can't really address the seafood portion of the menu because frankly, I haven't ordering anything from that section. Originally, my initial rating of this place was 4 stars, but I gave them an extra star for their community involvement. I volunteer with a local pet rescue organization, and they've now sponsored two events for us, where our group gets proceeds from dinners that are sold. I appreciate the fact that a large restaurant chain takes the time and energy to give back to the local community. **If you get there before 6, you stand a good chance of getting seated immediately, just so you know.

Service is good usually and the food is not bad. It isn't too impressive, but if you want to eat a real causal dinner this is probably the place to go. The portions sizes aren't as big as I'd like. I have a big family and it doens't really seem like a "big party" kind of place. More of a dinner place for six people or less. Still a good place, overral.

The service was friendly but the food is something to long for. My friend and I wanted the Prime Rib but just as our waiter was punching in our order in the computer one of the cooks in the kitchen told him they were just out. We got the Rib Eye instead but to tell you the truth it was pretty rough and tasteless. It was one of the most lacking steak experiences I've had at Outback, although the service was excellent and our sodas were replaced almost the instant it was finished.

Our daughter selected the Outback for her birthday as this is one of her favorite places for dinner. The service and food was excellent. Our server, Erica was efficient and made sure to check on anything we needed to have an enjoyable celebration.

Food is great and service is even better! Definitely recommend it! We love our local outback and have made this one of our favorite places to go! It's a treat, the waitstaff are always so friendly and very helpful. Good place to go if your on a specified meal plan or not!

Not the biggest fan of Outback Steakhouse, but this place hits the spot real good. The staff are friendly and they do have amazing onion ring fries here. The steak isn't too bad. I love the steak/salads they have here, they're an excellent choice if you don't want to eat too much but still want to go out to a steakhouse.

Quick service, friendly waitresses. Food was average and price is what you expect for eatting steak. It's good of you have a large crowd or want a steak dinner and don't have time to wait or drive down to the steakhouses.

Came here with some friends last night after work. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very nice and attentive. She brought us bread every time we ran out. Waters were always refilled when empty. My beef with this place is their accuracy with the food orders. I don't know whether if the waitress forgot to input the orders or the kitchen screwed up. I ordered soup with my steak and it never did arrive. I had to ask their food runner when he dropped off our entrees. I also ordered horseradish with my steak which adds a bit more to the cost of the entree but I never received it! My steak which was ordered (Med Rare) came out medium. Even my friend's steak which was ordered at RARE came out at medium. Does their grill cook only know one temperature?? I was already tired from my long work day to complain about anything. This was my first experience with Outback Steakhouse and I do not think I will come back. I was never a fan of Chili's, Applebees, Olive Garden, Black Angus kinds of restaurants in the first place

The blooming onion and prime rib are off the chain! The bake potatoes with their salty peels are the best I've ever tasted. The service is a little slow, which is why I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars.

The service was great the food was good and the drinks were strong, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. But I will go again.

(5)Jasmine C.
Waiter didn't even know the specials they have. I only got my water refilled once! I didn't know a well done steak meant burnt! She checked on the table next to us more then she checked on us and they came in after We did. The floor had food on it and we waited 20 mins for our food
(2)Brittni C.
(1)Jorge A.
Good place for a beer and a bloomin onion. I can only speak about the bar. Happy hour all day Sunday with great appetizers at a reasonable price.
(4)mike e.
Did I mention that the Upland, CA location does not take Outback coupons or have many of the national specials? Bummer.
(3)Shawn A.

(2)Jim E.
(3)Gerri B.
(2)Alexandra D.
Food-mediocre Service-horrible Server (Raul)- uncaring, should not be a server. He was so bad it's like he was telling us through his mind not to tip him because he didn't care what service he gave us. Will not come back.
(1)Martin C.
Haven't actually tried the steak yet but the plate I got was really good. The waitress was friendly and quick, and the complimentary bread is delicious!
(4)Ralph V.
Great waitress ! ( Shelly ? ) Nice atmosphere Delicious Ribs !
(5)Rosario S.
(5)Adam M.
Went out with my parents for my moms birthday. Food was awesome. Server was consistent on asking how everything was. My plate consisted a 12 oz steak w/ garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Loved it.
(5)James H.
(4)Craig H.
(3)Megan W.
(1)Dan D.
(2)Danielle S.
(1)Kenny G.
It's my own damn fault for requesting EXTRA CHEESE when I'm clearly lactose intolerant -_____-
(3)Samantha M.
Wow, horrible food. This place gets a star for the good service. The food was bad. Salty appetizer, salty entrées, my dad ordered a cup of coffee and they brought it at room temperature. Definitely never coming back.
(1)Rassel S.
Not $9.99 like what tv says but $12.99. Feel tricked.
(5)Soomi P.
(4)Marlene H.
Not a huge fan of chains but had a gift card so decided to give it a second shot. We had been to this location about a year ago and weren't impressed. This visit was worse. Had to send the steak back because it was literally raw and salad came out with no dressing. Service was good, food was below par.
(2)Susan S.
My husband ordered the 13 oz ribeye and I went for their new appetizer with seared pepper ahi tuna and slaw and both were good.
(4)julia h.
Negative 5 stars. Horrible customer on the phone...even worse in person. The manager was so rude I couldn't believe it! He actually laughed at us when we asked about seating! Headed to Black Angus!!!
(1)Frances H.
(1)Ann S.
(3)X-Files X.
Let me start by saying that my server Sean was fantastic. Other than him, the rice was blah, my steak was blah, the shrimp scampi was Ok, the salad at Denny's is just as good. As a matter of fact, I like Denny's better at half the price.
(2)Mikeo X.
Good food . the hostess doesn't know how to greet was there at 3pm Sunday. The food takes forever to get to you .I had a good waitress that's always a plus.. Ventilation could be better in the outer dining area crank up the fans..over all rating low average..
(2)Karen D.
Went here two days ago, service was nice and friendly. Food came right out hot fresh and delicious!!! Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and will definitely be back! Went at happy hour they have some good specials.
(5)Michael K.
(2)Pete S.
(2)Peggy L.
Why advertise call ahead when there is none? Called ahead, 15 minute wait. Got here in 15 and after we arrived they put us on the wait list for another 15-20. So where's the incentive to call ahead? It got us exactly nowhere.
(1)Scorpionhoney A.
Avoid! Avoid!
(1)John H.
Had the steak and lobster it was great steak was a little over cooked but good lobster was great although small vegis are always good
(4)Genesis H.
(2)David M.
The bar area is where it's at. If there's a spot, don't wait to be seated. They've got great service here. Sean did a great job at being respectable and personable.
(4)Pam S.
(4)Pedro F.
Call ahead and reserve a table. I enjoy this place in particular, quiet, clean, service is good, haven't had any food issues. As always the blooming onion rocks, just ask for an extra side of sauce. Prices have slightly increased but so has everything else everywhere else, no big deal.
(4)Rick C.
This place is hit or miss.... Great service one day and totally ignored on a other day hope today is a good visit since I'm dining solo today....
(3)David C.
had the tilapia with lobster sauce and mushrooms, it was very good and light. the service was a little slow but the food was pretty good so I give four stars.
(4)Kenny B.
Food is always good and I always receive good service.. No matter who that happens to be. I know it's a steak house but if you're ever in a "fish" mood, try the tilapia with pure lump crab meat... Alway delicious!
(4)Danielle R.
(1)Stephanie W.
Good food. super service, very good menu, busy place but that is to be expected considering.
(5)Christal R.
Not good. :(
(2)Stephanie R.
I thought the ribs were amazing. Service was great and the drinks were good. I would return here. The only thing I didn't get a chance to try was desert. But I'll save that for next time.
(4)Marvin B.
awesome steaks, decent salads, seafood is acceptable (for a steakhouse!) the wait for seats may sometimes be excessive at this location, but the food will not disappoint. the to-go service is especially helpful as they bring the food out to you.
(4)Selina L.
(5)alicia k.
(2)Sal H.
(2)Adstic A.
If I could minus stars I would!!! SUPER SLOW after ordering. Manager let's servers look horrible by letting food orders get stacked up on a Friday night! WORST managed restaurant I've been to in a LONG time! NEVER AGAIN!
(1)Melissa H.
(1)Philip H.
I have always liked outback, but this one was horrible. They had the worst service that I have ever experienced at a major chain. They were not busy yet the server couldn't seem to keep up with anything we asked for. We wanted steak sauce and he brought it after our steak was done!!
(2)Lily V.
Coconut shrimp and down under Rita is my favorite. That's all I need and me happy.
(5)Eddie C.
Best restraunt ever the food and drinks are great. The service is very proffesional and kind. I am very impressed with the Upland Outback and have been comeing there for years and will continue to.
(5)Danmo H.
(4)L. W.
This is THE best Outback of them all. SERVICE is the best. Everyone is nice here as well as extremely efficient. Food is better than most other locations. We eat here 2-4 times per week, it's that good.
(5)Fern R.
(1)Charlie A.
(4)Mrs A.
(2)Dong J.

Went to the outback steak house in upland, it tasted like they got the prime rib from their back yard in the dirt, yuk
