One of our favorite places to go as a family! Such a fun, casual, laid back environment conducive to kids and dogs or just you and your friends. It's the best neighborhood hang out! The food is good and the beer is even better ! It's open seating so don't be shy! We go a lot on sundays it's super super packed but you can almost always find a spot

Dear Sweet mother of.. I mean, seriously... I can't... Look. You know their beers. You've had their staples in plenty of bars. If you've put yourself about a bit, and are a connoisseur of tasty refreshing adult beverages, you've also enjoyed their seasonals like Gnarlywine, Hairy Eyeball, and of course, Cappuccino Stout. Now imagine going to their brewery. Going to their inner sanctum. Getting oodles of tasty goodness to sample, before getting a tour of the facility. Then there's the beer sanctuary. And the new schwag shop. Petaluma's got a wee slice of brewing heaven, and I suggest you check it out, toot sweet. I SAID NOW, MISTER!!!

Post hiking thirst quencher .. I wish they stayed open later. We got there around 6:30, that last call came way too early but we enjoyed sampling the beer! The beer was good. I don't think I was over the moon excited about any specific one, but then again .. I'm from the Pacific Northwest so the microbrew competition in my mouth has pretty high standards. Server was really knowledgable, that was cool. Like I said, I wish I would've had more time to try more than the 4 samplers but I'd like to return one day and do the tour, sit outdoors and drink more... Maybe even buy tshirts.
(3)Crystal V.
The tour guide was freaking hysterical gotta love that! Went with 2 friends and sat outside, which felt great. ordered the Around the World beer taster all 16 beers they have on tap for $21. Got there pork sliders, no flavor but ine of they guys in the kitchen makes his own hot sauce ask for some of that = much better. The BBQ pork nachos weren't bad but don't order the cheese plate = yuck. The live music just made you feel like you were on vacation.

I've been drinking their beer for years and finnaly took a tour of their brewery. These people are so nice and love what they do. You can tell that the company takes care of their employees, really shows when talking to them. Proud supporter of their community.

Place is like a zoo on the weekends. Food experience I still hear issues there, beer is great. They need to better assign tables and such. Free for all to rough-take experience. I only now go here for the giftshop and buy beer 2go.
(3)MOYA D.
Great beer in a great setting. Outdoor patio area that was fully staffed with a friendly team unlike many San Diego breweries and clean. Music from a local band with grateful dead covers that was very good.Took the tour with Ryan, lost count of the beers we tasted before the tour began. Lots of tidbits about the humble beginnings of the brewery. Food was surprisingly good and affordable. Dog friendly makes for good watching. Highly recommend the Hopstupid, amazing fresh from the source!

By far my favorite place to visit in Petaluma. Great beers and happy staff which reflects well, especially when they are too busy to complete a sentence. The service can be slow at times due to the capacity it can reach but it's worth the wait for sure. Not a palce for a quick weekend lunch but a fantastic place to sit back and enjoy a Saturday afternoon with some amazing brews (Gnarly Wine, yum!), friends and music while waiting for a delicious panini. sart with the bread and dip, its amazing.
(5)Julz Z.
Love it love it love it. Great little microbrew company that has a lot of potential for going big! I love the small beer garden with music during the summer. The beer munchies work really well with the beer they have on tap. Bravo!
(5)Herb G.
Sure I'm biased since I live just 5 minutes away from LBC....but, they have GREAT Food, GREAT Entertainment, and above all else; GREAT BEER. Do yourself a favor, grab some friends and stop by. You'll thank me later.
(5)Ana C.
This place is great. A fun atmosphere, really good food and REALLY good beer. The staff is pretty friendly, although at times you can tell they are overwhelmed with tables. My only complaint is the seating. You basically have to hover over tables and feel like a total creeper to get one. I understand they want a laid back feeling, but they have so many tables I think they could benefit from at least putting a few tables aside for a seating list. Other than that I love this place! FYI if you're looking to fill a growler they only fill their own.
(4)Jeff R.
My highest praise for this company, it's beer, the people, and its commitment to the community. I drink thier IPA all the time. I try all of thier brews and am always satisfied. There is a six pack of IPA in my fridge right now. When I go out to bars I often request thier beer, especially the IPA. They also have sponsored two festivals that I help run, Mission Creek, and Soundwave. We just got a keg donated last night for the Soundwave Xmas partyt. I will forever be in thier debt and always buy thier beer. We sell it at our store (Rainbow Grocery), and its one of our best sellers. Love these peeps.

Very hip brewery reasonably priced with very very tasty nachos and great BEER. Wished I would lived across the street from them.
(5)Holly F.
Drove up from Oakland especially to visit Lagunitas & were not disappointed... in fact, we were delighted. It doesn't get better than Lagunitas' beer garden on a summer day. $4 sampler. Dogs. Band. Pretzels. So many of my favorite things in one place.... Sublime.
(5)Brian W.
Best beer garden in Petaluma and rivals Hopmonk Tavern for best in Sonoma County. Live music almost nighty keeps the place alive and the beer of course is amazing. Perfect spot for a little after work beer or two.
(5)Connie E.
We had a wonderful Brewery Tour and Tasting. Carolyn was our guide and knows her beer and the process. We learned a lot about the process and tasted some great beer! We came in off hours but they accommodated our group and we appreciate their passion about beer.
(5)Justin M.
Great local business! They make a great beer and seem to have a good business ethnic. I recommend checking them out if your into beer.
(3)Jenny B.
Wonderfully quirky beer tasting room upstairs, with even better service from Mr. Bartender Man! FREE beer tasting is always great in general and although New Castle is my favorite, I was pleasantly suprised with the "Chronic" beer (I forgot what the official name was called). They are very generous with their pours - no little dixie cups here- this place gives you 5 (a little over 1/2 a cup) samples, plus an additional 2-3 more if they are sharing something new. Also, you can get a free full glass of beer for to take with you on the tour. Needless to say, I had a drunken fun time and recommend this place for anyone who wants to try out different local beers for a change. Designated driver definitely required after visiting this delightful brewery. If you want to avoid the crowds, come on a Monday afternoon - a great way to start your week!
(5)Chazz d.
Beer garden is awesome! Food is decent and the beer is always a favorite! Service is so so only because I had to wait 15 mins to get a beer at the bar while the bartenders were talking to their buddies? Don't keep a thirsty bear thirsty...
(4)Parris S.
I can't think of a more generous brewery. Lagunitas continually donates to the community, and their crew absolutely rocks! They throw great parties and are deadly serious about making some truly mythic beers. There are so many that I love, I can't just pick one. However, some of my top faves that I will not let slip my grasp are: Brown Sugga', Cappucino Stout and Censored. These guys are the cool kids that you wished you had grown up with.
(5)Sheila D.
Best brewery tour ever!! Tim was so awesome, knowledgeable, and sooooo f&$@ken funny!! So worth it to come out here and see what these awesome guys are brewing up! This is why they rock and are so successful! Great stop for a tour and awesome beer and food in their beer garden style restaurant pub.
(5)Natalie G.
Haven't eaten here, only ordered some beers. Love the outdoor patio area, especially when a live band is performing. Great for groups, too!
(3)Nicole+Eduardo T.
Great beer, fun atmosphere, and good bar food!
(5)Jacki W.
I went there last weekend, it was pretty loud and busy but nonetheless we received pretty good service. Obviously the beer is great and the food was pretty good, although the prices were a little higher than we expected.
(3)Veronica R.
We came to Santa Rosa for our anniversary and wanted to check this place out because it was so close. This place was full when we got there. Full parking lot, full outdoor area, almost full bar. Luckily we found two spots at the bar. They have all the best Lagunita beer on tap. So affordable. I got a four beer sampler for 5 bucks. The boyfriend got a couple beers for 10 bucks, I believe. WE tried the avocado soup because we weren't hungry but we wanted to try something different. It was cold and tasted kind of like avocado dip puree but it was good and we definitely scraped the bowl. :) We will definitely be back with friends!
(5)Hilary S.
We are San Diego natives coming here with high hopes. Wow how that reputation was destroyed... Knowing multiple people who work in the beer industry it is disappointing how the servers conducted themselves and treated their customers. After and hour of waiting our server seemed surprised that we even ordered food and said that it in fact wasn't even put into the kitchen.. Not to mention she had no knowledge of any beer on the menu. Drive 20 minutes to Russian river or bear republic and have great beer and see how customer service is supposed to be.
(1)John E.
A real fun place to go.. Very casual. Food is limited but very interesting, Have music very often and is really just an eclectic place to relax. They also have really well attended special events.
(4)Mandingo G.
I cannot say enough about this place. When I have a son, I will have him baptized here with a 22 of hop stoopid. infant beer shower to bring him into this world. the beer sanctuary is simply good for the soul. come here to relax, get some sun, listen to some live music, drink the best beer in the world, and meet other lag-heads. extremely dog friendly. food is great. awesome panninis and superb chili. mostly i just come here to be served by Lisa though. She's the best! :)
(5)K G.
Great patio. Can be very loud, maybe not the place to take Grandma. Love the live country music acts. Don't love the hip hop blasting out of the speakers. The food is pretty good, but most of the sandwiches are served on a ciabatta roll, and I think it's too much bread. The flavor gets lost. Overall, pretty limited offerings for food. Great beer. Service can be VERY spotty. We waited 20 minutes to order last week.
(3)Gina K.
Came by here for the beer of course! But we were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. We had the Smoked Pork Nachos. OMG! They were awesome!!!!! We are going to go back again just for these nachos! Place was really cool, we sat in the Beer Sanctuary. It was night time so it looked very cool with all the lights. Would definitely recommend coming here and trying those delicious nachos! :)
(5)Kim G.
Awesome folks, awesome place.
(5)Courtney M.
Staff is fantastic and super friendly. Great band playing and atmosphere. Dog friendly and family friendly. All beers here are good. Have the sux!
(5)Chris W.
The atmosphere here is great! Alright so maybe everyone was just in a great mood because I went when the Giants won the World Series but everyone here was very chill. Excellent beer selection. If you like tasting samples, this place is heaven. So many to try. And the beers are always changing. This place gets crowded too so try to come during off hours for maximum enjoyment. Has outside area for smokes too.
(5)Chris C.
Great beer, Great atmosphere, artichoke heart press is deeelish, and the tour is rad.
(5)Glenn D.
The beer is absolutely awesome! My favorites include the IPA, Lucky 13, the Czech Pilsner, Dogtown Ale. Well, I could go down the list. It has a large outside space with German brewhouse style tables and seating. There's a huge netted tarp that provides some shelter from the Petaluma sun. I recommend a hat and sun glasses. The inside seating is cool and dark with a large bar and tables. It's dog friendly. The only down side is the sparse menu. A place with such great beer deserves great food to match. When that happens, I'll move my rating up to a solid 5.
(4)Ryan H.
In terms of beer, Lagunitas is awesome! In terms of food and service, I would say its ok. The few times I have been there the service was bad even when there were not a lot of people there. The food was not very good either. But it is a brewery and obviously its not all about the food.
(3)Roy A.
Expansive outdoor seating with relaxed ambiance and wonderful craft beers. Particularly good are the IPAs and stouts. Favorites of the day were little sumpin which is a light hop forward brew and the seasonal high west stout which has flavors of coffee and vanilla. Also nice food menu to pair with the beer and complimentary fresh peanuts in the shell with pretzel baskets. Only criticism is lack of parking. Dangerous crossing busy road. Be careful!
(4)Nathan B.
Lagunitas rocks! This place is amazing despite the random business park location and of course the beer selection is outstanding. Try and get access to the private room upstairs used for brewery tour groups - it is tons of fun for a small group of 10 or 12
(5)Galen D.
Great beer but horrible signage. Do you want people wandering around the property? We showed up on a slow day and had no idea where to go. We figured it out but why not put up a few signs that aren't just 8.5x11 sheets thumb tacked to a post? You're selling plenty of beer it's time for good signs.
(4)Heidi D.
THANK YOU for your generosity to my friend, Greg, and Relay for Life. We had a fabulous time at the fundraiser. Great beer, awesome atmosphere, amazing staff. LOVED it.
(5)Rich M.
what can I say it's Lagunitas...very cool!
