Well, I hate to be the negative one. :( I can't speak for many dishes because I've only been once: I ordered the chorizo and eggs plate ($6.99) with potatoes and toast. The chorizo was wet mush (hardly cooked, actually I don't know if they cooked it at all) and the eggs were also undercooked. I tried a bite of the chorizo and immediately knew it wasn't safe to eat and ate what I could of the eggs (viscous clear egg white still present, uncooked). The server never asked why I hardly touched my plate, but I also didn't say anything unprompted. I'm not sure whether I was nauseated later in the day because it was undercooked or because I simply was grossed out by it all, but there you go. I will likely be back to try a different plate, but am posting this review to strongly advise those who are considering the chorizo plate to reconsider. My family all seemed to enjoy their breakfast, but were obviously concerned about what was placed in front of me. I have to admit, the severity to which I was disturbed by my plate distracted me from noticing anything else about Spurs (atmosphere, service). So when/if I come back, the review will be more thorough. Another time, Spurs. Please cook the chorizo thoroughly. It is pork, after all.

Got there for lunch around 2, didn't know they were closing. But was able to get a sandwich anyway. To make it easy I had the special Cordon Blue sandwich came with frys and a pickle. It was good. The service was good and friendly even though they were trying to cleanup and close. It's a cozy place a short distance from the busyness of downtown. Plenty of parking if you are in RV or truck.

I agree with other reviews for this cafe: Great food, cozy environment, quick friendly service! We stopped in for a quick lunch while passing through Wickenburg and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and talkative and the home cooked comfort food was just what we were looking for to avoid all the fast food chains on the way into town. Highly recommended!

I've been to Spur's many times and always have a great breakfast. I normally get the special but one of my favorites is the Eggs Benedict. The portions are large, the service is great, and they always keep my coffee cup full. The spicy homefries are excellent. My regular waitress is Cheyenne and you couldn't ask for a more attentive waitress.

The patty melt with a green chile add on was great. It's definitely worth the walk from the downtown area to this little spot.

This is a nice little down home cafe a little past the business district. There is plenty of off street parking, even for large horse trailers or RV's. The food is good, the prices very reasonable, and the service very friendly and attentive. Easily recommended for a good meal.

The food at this new cafe was very good and the service was great. Decor is western and very clean. Will go back soon.

Great little place, good service and food. An awesome early bird special before 9am. I have never seen a bigger plate of biscuits an gravy. Gravy could use a little more seasoning and or spices.
