Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Glad they are open in the summer time. Service was great and fast. Food was good and tasty and delivered promptly. Prices are affordable. I would come back here to try other items on the menu.

I teetered on the edge of a one star review but I have actually had worse Chinese food, so two stars it is. I'm a bit surprised at all of the glowing reviews I see here because I've eaten at Sizzling Wok three times now and have never had a positive experience, each successive meal I've endured worse than the last, the pain-hazed death march that was my final meal from this restaurant being the reason for this review. My previous two dining experiences with Sizzling Wok rating sub-par at best, I went back to the well for a third, fateful time in hopes that it was mere chance that my first two meals were disappointing. This time I ordered take-out rather than dining in, as my last experience with dining in at Sizzling Wok consisted of my mother and I sitting uncomfortably in a completely empty restaurant with an impatient greeter/waitress/cook/cashier sitting across the room from us waiting for us to finish so she could close up and go home or do whatever it was she seemed to be blaming us for keeping her from. I ordered Lemon Chicken and the Ten-Ingredient Fried Rice along with an order of Crab Angels thinking, "No one can screw these classics up." Wrong. Wrong. And, OK it's almost impossible to botch crab wontons. The Lemon Chicken consisted of unseasoned chunks of chicken fried in tempura on a bed of cabbage(?), with a slice of lemon and a cup of lemon-flavored (I think) syrup, so bland as to make the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets my two-year-old daughter so adores seem like they came from a Michelin Star-rated chef. The Ten-Ingredient Fried Rice looked appetizing but the shrimp was close to its expiration date and tasted like it, and the ham/pork/canadian bacon cubes (or whatever they were) were so foul that I spit the first one that went into my mouth out and double-checked to make sure it wasn't something that had accidentally fallen in the rice. Needless to say that was as far as I got. My two-year-old daughter would not even touch the stuff, refusing to swallow the spoonful I made her take before I had tasted it. I will admit that my dog happily devoured it, but it is a bit pricey for terrier food. The Crab Angels were the only redeeming part of the meal and they were just OK. Kind of soggy rather than crisp but otherwise OK. I would give them a generous three stars, the Lemon Chicken two stars and the Fried Rice a very dismal one star. Needless to say this will be my last dining experience at Sizzling Wok. I cannot recommend anyone eat there unless they have very hungry dogs.

Great food and service. I have eaten here a few times and everytime I come in, Mae the owner remembers me and greets me warmly - asks how my husband is doing etc. This past time, I ordered the Moo Shu Chicken - large portion - took home leftovers

Wonderful food! We ate Steak Kew, chicken fried rice, crab angels, BBQ Ribs, chicken lo me in and sweet and sour pork. ALL the food was fresh, hot and tender. Al food is also made with NO MSG. In addition, the service was excellent (Mae). The owners are very nice people. Also, the food portions are huge! Great job!!!!

My husband and I are regulars of the Wok. We love the food and the people that own and work here. The teriyaki chicken is my husband's favorite and I really enjoy the chicken chow mein and the ginger chicken. We always get dumplings (potstickers) and the egg drop soup is great. They also have great lunch specials that are a full meal for not a ton of money.

I really want to like this place because the staff are really nice and it's the only Asian restaurant in Wickenburg, but it was just ok. If the prices were lower I'd probably be here all the time though. I might still give it one more chance, I'll update my review if it's any better.

If you don't like this place you don't like authentic Chinese food. Loved three really nice older chinese gals, making great food. The Pan fried dumplings are a must. Yum yum stoping here every trip to Phoenix!!! JeffG

Fresh, funny and good looking...and that was just our waitress/owner. She was so funny and treated us like family. And now for the food review. I really liked it! It's Wickenburg delicious, not Los Angeles China Town delicious but really good fresh food. I had tofu with veggies and hot chili oil on the side and my husband AKA Pumpkin had broccoli with carrots. I ate lots of his food too. I looked over the drink menu and wanted to hit that but I had to work the next day. I think the Mai Tais were $4.50 and that seems pretty good. They also offered other concoctions such as piña coladas, scorpions, and maybe even zombies.

The food was really good. Very flavorful. We had asked for an order of Crab Angels (crab ragoon) but never received them. But all in all it was good food. Don't know if I would make a special trip or anything to go back. But if you are in the area and nothing else seems good, like KFC, Pizzahut, Tacobell this would be the better choice.

Like some of the reviewers before me have said, when you come to Sizzling Wok you will be treated like family. If you're local, you'll be asked "How's your mom? How's your dad's work? Where's your brother/grandma/aunt?" This is welcome in a world of fast-paced strangers on a one-way track in life. The food has improved, especially over the past few months. The menu has been updated and is an improvement. The atmosphere is really lacking, slightly dingy and a bit off-putting. The bathrooms are outside and off-putting as well. Here are some suggestions for hits and misses on the menu... Hits: -hot and sour soup -crab angels -wontons -chicken and vegetable entree -almond chicken Misses: -sweet and sour pork -lo mein (possibly worst I've ever had) They have weekday and weekend lunch specials as well as family-style specials, both of which will save you money. Lunch/dinner specials often include soup, fried appetizer (like wonton, egg roll, crab rangoon, etc) and an entree or two. Not the BEST Chinese food I've ever had and certainly lacking in ambience... but worth it if you've got the cravings.

Hard to find a good Chinese place in this state, and I'm sure that's no different in Wickenburg. But... this would be my Go-To place for Chinese on my way to Vegas or Laughlin. :) As a city girl... this place is TINY from the outside, but you go in and it's almost cavernous. Surprising how many seats they have there. They have Weight Watchers platters, which is AMAZING. The family dinners are amazing. And the tea tastes actually like herbs and not like Lipton. Service was nice and friendly. The only weird part was that the bathroom was outside and hot. I was a little worried about spiders.

Got the chicken lo mein. Paid nearly $10 and ended up throwing the take out in the trash after 3-4 bites:( not sure if I can give it a second chance. The staff was friendly on the plus side.

This is perhaps the BEST chinese food I have ever had. Everywhere I go I try the local chinese food restaurants. I have lived in Orlando, Pearl Harbor, Charleston, Seattle, Guam, Flint, near Flagstaff, and now near WIckenburg. No one seems to do from scratch egg rolls anymore, not positive these are from scratch but if they are not they are exquisite nontheless. The crab angels are awesome as well and if you get any of the dinner for 2 combinations you get 1 for each person & soup. The egg drop soup is blah, but not terrible. The chicken dishes that are supposed to be crunchy, are crunchy. The dishes that are supposed to be spicy, are spicy without being overpowering. My significant other cant have things too hot, and she enjoyed our spicy dishes. Only been here twice. The food was awesome both times. The manager/owner was very cordial to us, but did seem on very friendly terms with what we assume were regulars. Joking and kidding with them. If they were not regulars, then the interactions would seem quite hostile. She made me and my fiancee seem like special guests, perhaps even friends of the her family. Only thing I have to complain about is the bathrooms. You have to exit the building. The bathrooms are not airconditioned, in the summer in AZ that can be quite hot!
