I hate to post really bad reviews... But this place is honestly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The best part of the whole place was the stuffed cat! The server was great but even she knew the food was horrible. When we asked her what her favorite thing on the menu was she got quiet grabbed the menu from me to look at the items (red flag) the decor is super hokey, but you are in an old west town so its expected. Anyway let's get to the food... We ordered nachos for the table they were horrendous, grease grease grease and chips. When our entree came out we all looked at each other in horror, our plates looked like slop and from the disgusted look on the waitresses face. I knew to cut my burrito before biting and when I did it squirted juice. So I decided to tip my wrapped up grease ball to see how much would come out and it had a solid stream for a good 20 seconds... Effectively ending my eating experience.... I would like to thank this restaurant for a very uncomfortable rest of the day ( due to nausea)

How long can a salad bar case last? This one must be 20 years old as it is the same one from the 90's. The atmosphere is old and tired just like the menu. That said it is the best salad bar in town.....that's right its the only one. Sorry

I have had many different experiences in little restaurants that are kitchy and just off the main road. Sometimes they are awesome. This one, not so much. The service was fine and the decor was expectedly kitchy, however the food...was just bland. My sandwich might have been the spiciest thing on the menu, Sarah had enchiladas which were sooo bland it was kind of a shock. Not sure if there how there would be a lack of good Mexican food here in Occupied Mexico, I can only imagine it has something to do with the giant 'anti-Obama' signs just down the road. Oh well, lickily there are other good places to eat in Wickenburg. I did hear another couple discussing how good the prime rib was. It is prime rib though..how difficult is that?

I have eaten at several awful restaurants in Wickenburg, but this one was the worst. First, let me clarify one thing... this is a BAR that sells food, not a restaurant. The atmosphere is grubby at best and very dark inside. We decided to sit on the patio which was down a long hallway, past the storage rooms and the lovely smelling rest rooms. The patio was full of smokers, but that's what patios are for so although I didn't like it, no points off for that. We started with a water and a diet coke. They arrived in questionably clean glasses and there was something very, very wrong with the diet coke. It tasted like ginger/vanilla gasoline. My g/f ordered a mexican plate (enchiladas I think) and I ordered the nachos. Her enchiladas were ok at best, according to her. Everything was quite obviously frozen or from a can. My nachos were, in a word, awful. Melted cheese whiz and some kind of disgusting processed ground beef gruel type substance on stale chips. The mild salsa was nothing more than canned tomatoes. The hot salsa was a bit better, but still pretty bland. When I order $8 plate of nachos at a restaurant, I expect real cheese! I guess I'm expecting too much. We were both very hungry, so I ate them, but I certainly didn't enjoy them. This place is for the local drunks. If you're passing through and very hungry, seriously, DON'T STOP HERE. You'll get better food at McDonald's or a gas station!

On our way back from Vegas we decided to stop for dinner and figured there may be options in Wickenburg...and Wikiup was out of the question since the last time we stopped there we saw racism blasted on the walls. Anyway, back to Wickenburg....even on a Saturday night nothing seemed to be open-it was 7:30pm! So I was craving Mexican food being fully aware we wouldn't find anything that could compare to places in Phoenix we saw the Rancho 7 Restaurant and a sign that said "Mexican and American Food." Bingo. Ok.....fast forward to me biting into my chicken enchilada plate....what?!?! I never knew "Mexican food" even "Gringo Mexican food" could be so bland. Seriously? I think they basically boiled chicken, threw it in a tortilla and melted cheese on top....even the refried beans were flavorless. Wow. I think this place would even be too bland for my Mother. If we ever have a thought to stop in Wickenburg again we will be sure to check reviews first-as well as go during the day because that seems to be the only time places are open!!!

This place is a cool old bar. The staff was friendly and the beer was cold but the food is very average. We recently stopped in and ordered ribeye steak. The steak was okay but not good or great. For the price, it was very thin, maybe a half inch thick at the most. I would expect more for the money. I would eat here again, but probably not before I try other restaurants in town first.

WORST. RESTAURANT. EVER. Mediocre atmosphere (at best), 1/4" thick (at most!) tv-dinner "ribeye", frozen corn, probably frozen prepared potato, and to say it had a tv-dinner flavor would be a compliment. We picked up McDonald's on the way home, seriously.

I have been here a number of times and have always had a good experience. Seriously, I don't understand the bad reviews. Came here on Sat night and we had the fried chicken dinner with salad bar and also the 8oz New York steak with 2 cheese enchiladas. The restaurant wasn't crowded but it was very close to closing time. Our food was tasty, not bland. The fried chicken was fine, the steak was above average and the enchiladas were very good. The enchalada sauce was very good and they were cooked all the way through. The salsa is fine, but the green sauce is particularly good. I recommend it. The decor is fun - cheesy western town kind of stuff. Isn't that what you come to a saloon restaurant for? The server was friendly and attentive, even though we came in 15 mins before closing. We had a good experience here and plan to come back. The steak & enchiladas dinner is one of my favorites in town.
