Sportsman's is your typical neighborhood bar. Tons of regulars, everyone will know your name, and the bartenders will make an effort to get to know you. They have a good happy hour that goes until 7pm (I think). Be forewarned, this place is very dive, very laid back, very blue collar, very sports, and very testosterone. Two pool tables and a patio you can take your drink out to and smoke. They have lots of beers on tap and decent prices on all pours. Their food is good for when you're drinking but I wouldn't recommend it for a night out or a special dinner if you know what I mean. Nachos are awesome, good wings, Reuben sandwich is really good...so they have stuff of that nature, nothing fancy and nothing too memorable. It's just a bar without a lot of hype, and sometimes that's the best place to drink.

This place used to be good. Something changed, the draft beer selections are bad. The food that used to be good is now not so good. I would not recommend thus place.

Hard to beat their wing selection and 50% off prices on Wednesdays! The service is solid, and with all the TVs inside, it's a great place to come for lunch or to grab a drink after work.

I have a confession to make. I am not a big fan of sports bars. They tend to be loud, noisy, and during game days, extremely crowded and filled with raucous drunk people. On occasion, I will go to one with a friend or to watch a big game if I want to watch it but don't have access to it, but I generally don't seek them out. Not really my idea of a fun. However, I do on occasion enjoy eating food from these places, because to tell you the truth, depending on where you go, you might find some excellent food. This place is ok. the burgers here are large and they are cooked well and according to order. I have been here quite a few times and they are usually pretty good. However, I also like the grilled chicken sandwiches quite a bit, and tended to get the California style one with avocado. Great sandwich! As for the other stuff, I usually just stick to the food. The fires that come with them are ok, they are generic and usually seasoned well so there are no big issues there. The customer service here is inconsistent, and sometimes it is good, but sometimes it's not so good. I have experienced long waits for my food and sometimes very short ones. It really depends on the day of the week. However I will note that I had lightening fast service on some game days so I will just chalk it up to having the right personnel. In all, I would say this is a decent place to go if you want to relax and watch a game. The food here is pretty good, but the customer service here is spotty.

Pretty neat little sports bar! Has a few tvs to watch the games. The burgers are pretty good, the wings are better! Try the boneless medium gold!

Typical bar food. Nothing to sneak a recipe from. But love the employees. They were all friendly welcoming and fast. It was very busy and loud inside so we sat outside on the patio to watch the ASU game . Perfect weather perfect company.

While there are plenty of televisions, this is not a place where sports is the focus. Pros: 1. Portion size is reasonable. 2. Good flavor is decent. 3. The waitress was nice, albeit distracted. 4. The fried were tasty. Cons: 1. It is way too loud. There were three of us and we ended up next to a large group there for some type of party. We literally couldn't carry on a conversation at our table because they were so close and so loud. 2. The food is below average for bar food. 3. Service is SLOW. 4. Either the kitchen can't read or the servers can't put in orders correctly. I ordered six medium wings Vegas style with medium sauce. First, I was told that another server took my order for another table. Then, when I finally got my wings, the wrong sauce was on them. I didn't feel like waiting another twenty minutes so I ate them. 5. The burgers were average, soggy buns, cheap ingredients. 6. The nachos were huge, but over half the chips had no cheese on them. Considering the cost and the fact that they really just had cheese to begin with, I expect a much better coverage. 7. Refills on soft drinks had to be begged for, and that was if the waitress managed to stop by the table. 8. When we arrived, we clearly told the server we were here for the Patriots game. So we were stunned when she brought the check 10 minutes into the game. 9. My husband never got a second beer, not that he wanted another watered down nastiness. 10. My friend almost had to leave his shoe as it was stuck to something on the floor. Also, this is a bar. Get a babysitter.

This place is okay. I have gone to this place many times because I live super close. We go for happy hour on fridays, but honestly, there are a lot cheaper and higher quality options in town. The food is not bad, just average bar food. The service is always meh- slow and inattentive. It also gets really loud from all the drunk people watching sports, so if that's your kind of thing, cool.

They have some really good, but really greasy nachos here. They are huge and served on those pizza platters. I took mine a little to the top and even asked for bacon on it. MMmmmmm greasy bacon nachos! My favorite is the generous glop of guacamole and sour cream on top! Wish they had a spicier salsa. The service is a bit sketch. They drop things off and you see your waitress again maybe half an hour later. You just need to get their attention if you need something immediately. This place really needs to get air conditioning or something for the summer. It gets really hot and stuffy in here and there was a terrible smell that was wafting from the kitchen. Better than B-dubs to watch sports and such though..

Meh, sports bar, with dirty floors, 2to3 star service, and pub grub. Not much else to offer. Food discount for hospital employees. Good location, on the corner in s strip mall.

Nice portions. Good home made chili. Good place to watch the game on Sunday. Plenty of tvs with all the games playing.

Reasonable prices, good customer service, local owners, and great place to catch the game without the crowd. Ask for Kristen or Macy, service with a smile.

I was visiting Flagstaff and stopped in 3 other sports bars that didn't have the game I was looking for (Kansas basketball). I had read another review that they did not play any college sports so I wasn't going to come here, but the last bar had actually recommended it. They did have the channel for the game and were willing to put it on any TV that we wanted to sit by. The wait staff were all friendly and both owners were working, and extremely down to earth and personable. I really like the atmosphere for games. If this place was in Phoenix, I would come here for all the games!

typical bar food, service is ok (had to remind our server about our order a couple times). Our experience was mediocre, we came in for an early dinner and brought my nephews and neice and i mention this because we left before 7:30 due to two girls making out on the floor with a male who works there capturing it on video. My guest thought that was inappropriate because of the children, she proceeded to ask them to stop, the off shift worker who was video taping this grabbed my guest by her shirt and pulled her away so he could continue. I was irate by this and was told to leave even though i intending to. I dont believe this is professional and have no intensions of returning.

We stopped by this bar on my birthday to catch the football game about a month ago. The place was full, but not packed. The waitress was very friendly, they had a long list of beer selections. However, they were out of almost all the beers we were choosing. Once we got to our fourth choice we were in luck. We had BLTs for the dinner which were quite tasty. When we asked for our 2nd beer, the waitress said that she would have to check the backroom to make sure there was another keg. They did have one more keg left of our beer so we were in luck. The two pool tables were busy all night. Flagstaff was having a winter snowstorm that week that could have impacted what was available at the time. All in all, this is a good place to just chill and drink.

It was either the sports bar or Subway. I was glad we chose the bar, food was good and drinks even better. Give the Tater tots a try!

This place is most definitely not for some people. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere, friendly staff, and an ice cold beer this is your place. If you are looking for an absolutely spotless interior, upscale fruity drinks, and unique food this is definitely not the place for you. The wait staff was helpful, they have a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and the have pretty good food with large portions. Ordered the nachos and they come out on a pizza tray. Will be back if every in Flagstaff to catch a game or even to just grab a beer.

decided to eat at sportman on a friday night. i was thinking they probably make some good food. i was wrong. the burgers are ok. just frozen patties and thrown on a hot skillet no flavor to it. french fries are baked and were not done. tasted like safeway brand frozen french fries. ordered beer and it was not cold. it wasnt warm. tasted like it was room temp and one ice cube thrown in it. will not eat there again. only thing i liked about it were the beautiful waiters.

Hit this place a few times for lunch since I had meetings nearby and the food is decent and the beers are cheap and there is a decent selection. Just good greasy drinking food!

looking for a dive....this is it! filled with locals flat screens a killer selection of draft beers to wash down the superb "bar" food! without a doubt the best wings in flagstaff mix it up a bit and get them vegas style (fried and grilled). the waitstaff is super nice and the owner Craig is always there to welcome patrons. Great low key place to take friends and family or make new friends. love this place
