I never leave reviews, but always read them - this time, I knew I needed to take a moment to rave about Picazzo's - the food & customer service! I contacted them only a few days before I needed to find a location for a LARGE group of families coming into town from Scottsdale for a Flagstaff soccer tournament. If you are familiar with Flag, they don't have many restaurant locations that can accommodate large groups - or at least I don't know about them. I originally told Picazzo's it would be about 40 people, and it ended up growing to approx. 50 - I worked with both Michelle & Greg. They were extremely helpful in coordinating the details. I originally talked to Michelle, who was professional, courteous, and very much accommodating. She doesn't work the weekends, so I continued to coordinate with Greg, who was also very helpful and flexible...I was even able to email him orders ahead of time to have some of the food prepared and ready to go. It was a seamless transition. Although Picazzo's does not have a separate room for larger groups, they were able to put the girls from the team along a large table together and the rest of the families along a separate table. It worked out surprisingly very well...even when we had to make some more room for extras at the last minute - no problem, they were able to manage that without a hitch... Dylan was our server and I can't even believe how he was able to handle this large of a group!!! (I know there was another server helping him, but I didn't catch her name). He was fantastic - professional, easy going, quick and, frankly, just had a great attitude about the whole thing! Get this - he was even able to separate our checks!!! A well-deserved 20% gratuity was automatically added... All the families thought the food was fantastic & amazing and were very happy with the overall experience. I was told later how much they appreciated the whole time together - Watch out, Picazzo's! We'll definitely be back :)!! THANKS so much!!!

About 3 years ago, we got a flat tire on the way back to Texas from Vegas. We stopped in Flagstaff to get our tire fix. I believe it was an autozone. We were of course hungry. My husband said let's go to this organic pizza place. I argued about going here because there is a MEXICAN place across the street. I wanted Mexican! He ended up winning and I was pouting in this restaurant because I wanted mexican and not some organic place..lol. At the time I associated organic with vegan. I only got an organic cheese pizza. I tell you what. IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA EVER. I forgot about the mexican restaurant when I took a bite of this pizza. I never want to forget this place because if we ever are visiting the grand canyon or driving through you better believe I will be stopping here. Thanks to a flat tire and this restaurant 3 years ago. My ways of eating has changed and I go for organic foods now.

Extremely overpriced. Pizza sub-par. The staff was "slammed" with only 1/4 of the tables occupied. We waited 45 minutes for the sorriest excuse for cheesy breadsticks. The pizza was greasy, and the toppings just slid off the crust. I'd rather buy dominos for half the price.

We planned on eating at Oregano's, which we love, but there was a 45 minute wait, so we thought we'd give this a try. We should have waited the 45 minutes. Flavorless ingredients for the pizza and the salad was not good. Items added to it that were not on the menu. The cheese bread was good, but very expensive for 4 small slices.

The waiter said that no one in the kitchen had black hair, that everyone was blonde (The color of the hair in my food was black) my husband and I looked back and there where two men in the back with short black hair similar to the one on my food. Gluten free dining in Hawaii is average at best, you are lucky to find a restaurant that has a dedicated gluten free menu so coming to an Italian restaurant whose menu was almost entirely gluten free was a dream come true. The food was pretty good, I'd give it four stars. The pizza crust was one of the best gluten free ones I had and their gnocchi was superb as well, though th eportion was a bit small. We had a citrus cake for dessert which was also amazing, very light and fluffy for a gluten free cake. I also got an order of their bread to go to have for breakfast tomorrow. I forgot that I didn't have butter in my condo to put it on it the next day but I found that after I'd toasted it, it was still quite moist and enjoyable. The one issue we had was they forgot to bring our spinach artichoke dip appetizer. When our entrees arrived I inquired about our appetizer. They apologized profusely, brought it out quickly and comped us both that and our drinks! So they get another star for the great customer service.

I have been a customer of Picazzo's at nearly all of their locations since 2007. I have eaten over 200 meals at Picazzo's in that time as I'm a celiac and must eat gluten-free food. Picazzo's has fundamental problems with quality that, judging from how intense and intractable the problems are, must derive from the very top. It's obvious from the lackluster overpriced food in small quantities and usually apathetic service rife with mistakes large and small and the drab decor that the owner of Picazzo's is an absentee manager-greedskate who probably abuses his management and line staff equally. Mine and friends' recent experiences (past 6 months) at the Flagstaff Picazzo's include disappointments such as the following: A stuffed pepper missing all the stuffing. It was just a pepper in a dish. The waiter offered to refund it, but didn't. When I pointed out it was still on the ticket, he looked at me and said it was refunded and I didn't know what I was looking at. I was too annoyed to argue. Sometimes pizzas are so lacking in toppings it's a joke - they're worse than frozen pizzas. I got a pizza there that had - I counted them - 4 nuggets of sausage and 5 strips of bell pepper on it. Their pizzas cost over $20 for a medium. They should be much more generous and of better quality. An order of spinach manicotti showed up as an order of plain cheese manicotti with a bunch of raw spinach leaves thrown on top. Another time I ordered a gluten free pizza and was given a regular one. I didn't notice until I ate a bite. My waiter didn't apologize - in fact, he was quite arrogant about it. The acting manager did apologize, to his credit. Spinach artichoke dip was this bizarre cup of hot liquid oil with a few green things floating around in it. I never did get to the bottom of that, but the restaurant apologized and took it back. Twice I've placed pick-up orders that I discovered upon arrival had never been entered, therefore, there was no food to pick up. My friend's vegetarian chicken substitution came with ... sigh ... chicken. I began having gluten reactions after eating there during my last month of meals, probably due to cross-contamination with flour. There's no way a restaurant this amateurish could maintain a GF cooking space. My friends won't go with me anymore. I don't really want to go anyway. The market has dealt the death penalty to Picazzo'ses in Sun City, Tucson, Casa Grande, and Tempe which have all closed. When they were open the complaints were constant. Management doesn't return emails sent through their website. The employees seem to have no means to improve things on their own, as they complained to me a few times about how bad it was to work there. If you must eat gluten-free and want to eat well, check out these options that bury Picazzo's in a mountain of gluten-free dust : Taverna is Greek with handsome decor and a few very well made gluten free options and a cheap high-octane happy hour. Pita Jungle is everything that Picazzo's could be and isn't: Attractively decorated, fresh high quality food (including vegetarian and GF just like Picazzo's) in large portions at very reasonable prices - most of the stuff on PJ's menu costs less than half of Picazzo's prices. If Pita Jungle can do it, Picazzo's could too, but at the fork in the road of quality, Picazzo's has chosen the path of suck. There's just no excuse for a restaurant as bad as Picazzo's.

We stopped here for lunch. I was impressed that they are gluten free as my fiance has an intolerance. I enjoyed the salad I ordered, and I liked that they brought me a whole can of coconut water. That was nice. The gluten free pizza was good, but it lacked enough sauce. My fiance enjoyed his pasta as well. It was good, but nothing really outstanding. Good service though, and a great gluten free option.

I have been eating here since they opened. I like that they have gone organic since it provides a choice, particularly when we have friends in town. The taste of all the food served here is a bit different as compared to other pizza places in town. Please note that I said different, not bad. Some folks confuse these two words. There is a reasonable selection of wines and beer. The bar appears to be fully stocked with hard liquor. The service is excellent even when the place is packed. I eat here at lunch about once a month and I get take out for dinner about once a month. Of special note they under stand that my wife cannot have anything from the nightshade family on her food. Unlike some other places they have never botched this for either stay or take out. Additionally, they have several types of pizza that she can eat. This is more than "just" a pizza parlor. There are many different entree's so you should be able to find something to your liking. When dinning in, I have not noticed any issues with noise or crowding. The tables are reasonably spaced and the chairs are comfortable. This is also a place that you can bring business clients for a good lunch or dinner. I have not seen too many kids eating here, but that could well be the result of doing take out in the evening. If you like thin crust pizza I urge you to give their's a try. In sum, I have enjoyed my experience eating here.

Our family (my husband and I, our 3 kids, and their grandparents) had a very nice dinner here this evening on our way back from the Grand Canyon. It was a treat going to an Italian restaurant that is gluten free! I was able to eat the bread that came with our appetizers, and it was actually pretty tasty! - not dry and mealy like gf bread can be sometimes. My kids had a pizza (regular, cooked in a separate oven as they have a dedicated gf space) - there was a mistake and they put pepperoni and olives instead of pepperoni and mushrooms - the waiter made it right right away and also offered a discount to make up for the initial mistake. I had the shrimp scampi - having fresh made gf pasta was a treat!!! The staff was very friendly and it was an overall good experience!

We stopped in and had an early dinner here this evening. While we are not gluten free, we fully appreciate, and seek out, organic healthy options (the restaurant is totally GF...a celiac's heaven!). In a sea of corporate chains and fast food, this was a welcome find! I was a bit overwhelmed by the awesome sounding pizza menu, and the salads featured local greens in eclectic combinations. I ordered the pasta bianca, which was fresh housemade spinach fettuccine, organic chicken, wilted spinach in a cheesy Alfredo. How could I resist freshly made pasta, gf or not?! And the creamy sauce was a rare splurge, but it was an excellent dish and hit the spot. Really good. I also ordered their berry bowl, but was skeptical...who knew how good it would be. It was surprisingly excellent...definitely the largest, sweetest blackberries I've had this year! (And I'm from Oregon, which says a LOT!). Also strawberries, blueberries, raspberries...all organic, and a really good deal for just $2.95!!! Service was decent, but what really set it over the top and earned our server a great tip, was the extra little touch he did as we were leaving (which I won't be specific about because nobody should expect a freebie, ever, and it was just sweet). I'd definitely go back, and I hope to be in Flagstaff in the near future so I can bring my family. (I do find it interesting that an organic restaurant also serves Coke products, but I guess you still have to please the masses....)

I've been a customer for a few years now. Hadn't been in for a few months, went for dinner last week and I couldn't believe how things have changed! Prices are higher, salads were smaller and service was rude. Dillon has to be the worst "manager" I've ever dealt with. He was short with not just me, but other customers and staff! I couldn't believe this guy was a manager. He had the worst attitude and ZERO customer service skills. Picazzo's lost a long time customer because of Dillon's horrible performance as a manager. He doesn't belong in a customer service role, let alone a management position. Get rid of him before he causes you to lose more customers.

I'm sorry, I need gluten! I love the concept of organic and gluten free. I love the 'option '. I have eaten here now about 7 times and I truly like this place. Everything I have ordered was good. I've had the lasagne, a couple different pizzas, pasta dishes with chicken and spinach to name a few. I got the Hawaiian pizza tonight and it was really good. I think my only request would be for them to cook the pizza a little bit longer. It seems they are a little soggy at the center. I will keep coming back here when in flag though. I LOVE the options!

I came here for my birthday dinner with four others. This place is WONDERFUL. My sister in law has celiac so gluten is usually such a hassle and she is subjected to eating only salads. But this place is amazing everything is gluten free, and she is also allergic to garlic and onion and they were SO accommodating. Her meal was delicious, they traded sauces, didn't add garlic or onions, and switched out the chicken for shrimp because the chicken had garlic too. She is definitely a loyal customer now. Not to mention the food was superb! Everyone had amazing food, we got the Pasta Bianca, the Thai peanut pasta, Turkey bolognese, and artichoke pepperoni pizza. Our appetizers were delicious too and just enough for all of us. We got the artichoke bottoms and cheesy bread (all gluten free too!). The manager checked on us multiple nights and overall it was one of the most delicious meals and beat customer service. Everyone was happy. Also no wait on a Saturday night! A must check out if you want some delicious Italian that's not even that expensive! Very reasonable.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. They need to take a pizza course on how to make a really good crusted pizza. Our small pizza was served with a soggy crust even though we asked for crispy crust. We hardly had any toppings (garlic and basil) and our pizza still cost $20.00. For all you vegans out there, here's another one to add to the list. Plus, it's not just a vegan option so you can take your non vegan friends. I love that it's all organic too. Kinda reminds me of an Italian lyfe kitchen. My hubby and I split the vegan pizza. Artichokes, faux chicken, yellow squash, zucchini, and Daiya cheese. The crust is amazing! Not thin, not thick, perfection. Also, the prices weren't bad seeing that it's all gluten free and organic with tons of vegan options.

Just went based on yelp reviews and so happy we did. I was a little afraid to take my teenagers to an organic, gluten-free place, but we pulled up to it, and they gave the OK. They were able to get their own pizzas custom made, so they were happy and said it was the best pizza they ever had. I was able to happily eat gluten-free. I had the gnocchi carbonara. What a treat to have gnocchi again! Since the main course was so good, we decided to have dessert too. The apple crisp with coconut ice cream was amazing, and my son was very happy with his sundae too. Patio seating was lovely and they even provide blankets for when it gets cool. Dogs are welcome on the patio too.

I've been here a dozen times, but never took the time to write a review. Overall, the service is good to excellent and the food is very good. But frankly, it is pretty ridiculously over priced... BUT the happy hour is pretty awesome. However, this time - well. I may be done. Ordered a GF red margarita pizza to go for a me and a friend... wait for it... $25! Yes. TWENTY FIVE bucks for a maybe 12-13" pizza at best. It was good - if you can stand any kind of GF crust - but not THAT good. Nothing special actually. I just can't - in almost any reality this side of the U.S. see myself ever justifying a $25 pizza again. Frankly, UDI's frozen GF pizza crust is WAY better than this stuff and - well, if I spent even $10 to make it - that'd be one loaded pizza.

My daughter and I went for lunch here over NAU parent weekend. I had the blue cheese salad and some gluten free bread. My daughter had a chicken pasta dish. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed with seating inside and outside. The food is phenomenal. I am gluten free and dairy free which can be hard to maintain while eating out. It was absolutely no problem here! I could order almost anything of the menu! The food was excellent and super fresh. For dessert they offer a coconut ice cream sundae with chocolate sauce and candied walnuts. It was delicious! I'm also a wine drinker and they had an extensive list to chose from. I highly recommend anyone with a gluten or dairy allergy to eat here! It's a dream come true!

I have always been a fan of the location in Sedona and this last week was my first Flag experience. The food was delicious as always- artichoke hearts filled with dip, berry licious salad, and a variety of pizzas. All of it prepared to perfection. THe most impressive thing about this experience was the service. My friends and I went in beyond hung over, and the server handled us with grace and charm! From bringing a glass of ginger ale to a gal that thought that she was going to die to laughing it up when my other friend scoffed at the suggestion of red sauce then asked for red sauce 10 min later. Wish I could remember his name, b/c I would give a major shout out to him!

The prices are ok, but the food isn't that exciting. If anything, the service is what bothered me the most about this establishment. A few weeks ago, I went there with a few friends, I offered to cover the appetizer and asked for calamari. I looked on their website at the menu, but I did not realize that the menu varies from location. When I asked about the calamari, my waiter gave me this confused look and said " we don't serve Japanese cuisine", I want to emphasize the word "Japanese". I was quite bothered that he seemed upset that I would even say such a thing even though calamari is an Italian dish and WORD, meaning "squid". His crappy attitude and demeanor bothered me for most of the night. Besides the appetizer I ended up ordering (wings), I ordered pasta. Because I was full before the main meal arrived, I ate a little bit but decided to take the rest home. A few hours later, I realized that the noodles were not even cooked! The chicken and sauce were delicious but the noodles were abysmal. The next time I want pizza and craft beer, I will just go to NiMarco's, the prices and food are a lot better.

Came here with party of 10 hoping for good pasta before embarking on a Grand Canyon hike the next morning. The gluten-free pasta was mushy and hard to swallow (it kept triggering my gag reflex). All in my party had the same experience. We understood it was organic Italian food but didn't realize it was gluten-free until we'd already been seated. Would suggest a gluten option as the flavor of my dish (Uncle Louie's Favorite) was actually pretty good. On a positive note, our party laughed all weekend about our gluten-free pasta dishes.

I love Picazzo's. I had been to their location in Tempe many times but this was my first visit to their Flagstaff location. We came up to Flagstaff with a very large group of 50. They were able to accommodate our group with just a couple days notice. Our server, I believe his name was Zach, was wonderful and handled our large group with ease. He had some help from the bus boys. We were in and out in just over an hour. The food came out all together and everyone was happy. I love their lunch combo. It's perfectly sized. Try their puttanesca pizza. SO GOOD! It was a great meal and I would certainly recommend coming here with just a friend or with a large group.

I was in town for a triathlon and my usual Italian place had closed since my last visit. This place was a wonderful find. As their business card reads, "nearly every item is gluten-free, organically produced, and locally grown." I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was made from quinoa and speck, the meatballs from turkey. The portion was perfect and the flavors were amazing. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Flagstaff.

Dinner last night with my elderly parents. None of us are gluten free but who cares! Pasta was fresh and fabulous! Berry-Lucius salad had only strawberries but literally the best berry vinegrette I have ever had! Dessert was yummy too, and a great wine selection with reasonable glass prices. I can imagine why there aren't more of these. Service was excellent. I would recommend that if shrimp is ordered as added to a pasta or salad it be mixed into the dish rather than throw on top. It was less appetizing that way. If you go ask for Chelsea's section.

We enjoyed lunch here on MLK day. It wasn't super crowded and we got a nice table by the window. The lunch specials were perfect! Loved the pepperoni slice and that Berry salad is delicious!! My husband and daughter are GF so the gluten-free pizza and kid's pizza were the real reason we came. They were great!! Much better than we had at the Scottsdale location. I really wanted to like this place. A lot. Gourmet pizza? Lots of organic ingredients? Sign me up! This is where fantasy meets reality. Pizza Picazzo would be a fantastic place if it were either CHEAP or FAST or DELICIOUS. It is none of those things. The pizza is throwaway. Bland, hard crust (normally my favorite part of a pizza). Caesar salad forgettable The service during late lunch (when the place was not packed) was friendly but not fast. Lunch special prices are a good deal but to go order a full pizza... $15 for a small? The other Yelp reviews are schizophrenic --- people seem to love this place or hate it. I'm more down the middle... with a heavy lean towards the "meh." Maybe if I were gluten-free I'd give their menu a second chance... but I'm not... so I won't.

There were some serious issues here last night... did half of their staff call in sick? Was there a huge mistake in writing the schedule? Whatever their excuse, there was no good reason to have a restaurant barely half full and have to make people wait 25 minutes to be seated. Seriously. When we first arrived, we told the hostess that we only wanted dessert. Perhaps THAT would have been the correct time to tell us that they were out of their most popular choice (the skillet cookie)? Oh, and also out of chocolate syrup. For goodness sake, send someone to the grocery store to pick some up! Instead, we had to order the brownie dessert, which is incorrectly named... it is nothing like a brownie at all- just a double-chocolate-chip cookie. Since they were out of our first choice and the syrup, they offered to put whipped cream on. Nice offer... but they forgot to do it. We had to call them back, ask for it, have our dishes taken back to the kitchen... all while the ice cream on top melted. During our time there, we witnessed a number of tables having issues, as well. The GM was arguing with a women about the spice level of her meal - come on! Just FIX the problem... don't argue with your customer! We are really hoping they just had a (very) off night... because if this is their regular service, we'll never return.

I went here on Friday night with my boyfriend, I had been to the one in Scottsdale about 5 years ago and havent been here since. We arrived and decided to sit outside since it was so beautiful outside. We sat at the corner table and within moments a bubbly server came over to great us. We each ordered a drink and wanted a few minutes to look at the menu. We decided on the margarita pizza and a side Asian salad. Food came and it was delicious, although our server was no where to be found. We had to search her down to order another drink, which kind of killed the mood. Besides that, it was awesome! In the restrooms they have lotion, and mouthwash which was something I wasn't expecting. Overall service was OK, Food was good..this is a great place to go for happy hour.

I love Picazzo's! Ok, yeah the food is great all the way around but with my recent wheat allergy, kinda killed everything off the list... UNTIL... I found out they do gluten free pizza's. One would think these things taste like poo and are like eating a flat tire, but no! They are awesome! One recommendation though. The gluten free crust does tend to get a bit soft and chewy after about 10 minutes so I recommend having them do the crust extra crispy so that doesn't happen. It was even tasty the next day right from the fridge. (BBQ Chicken pizza FTW!)

We were seated by a wall and the servers keep bumping into my chair and hitting the top of my head with their trays. Servers are no less than 5 feet from me and complaining to the manager that I am too big to sit at the table and requested that "fat" people not sit at this table. By the way, there were less than 18" between the tables, so basically no person in the restaurant could move freely - it's and ADA nightmare. I ordered the wild mushroom penne sub whole wheat penne and they said they didn't have whole wheat pasta - "this store is too small to stock stuff like that." They apparently have the menus from Tempe and they don't serve many of the items and substitutions on the menu. When my mushroom penne arrived the first time the plate was cold to the touch and the food was only slightly warm, the pasta looked dry and there was no visable sauce, just one large "wild?" white mushroom lazily wilting over the Sahara desert of penne. I asked for a fresh plate to be made. Moments later I was brought a cold plate of steaming hot pasta. I explained to the waitress that throwing my plate in the microwave was not a solution. She said it had not been microwave, but that lazy mushroom was still lounging in the desert of dry penne,- just a little more shriveled - while she maintained it was a fresh plate. The manager then walked up and grabbed the plate, carried it to the kitchen and asked requested a new plate be made. The new plate was hot, as was the food, the serving size smaller, and the pasta had the texture of red vines - sticking to my teeth with each bite and was inedible. Since I was due at the airport in less than 20 minutes, I opted for a pepperoni slice, the crust was mushy and failed to support the toppings, and the edge of the crust had a nasty wonderbread like texture. I took a few bites before leaving. This being said, the waitress handled the situation well once the manager let her know how frustrated we were. But all in all it was too little too late.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on our drive home from the Grand Canyon. We stumbled on Picazzos because we could not find the deli we were looking for. Delicious pizza, amazing kale salad, awesome lentil and lake soup, and we couldn't pass up the brownie sundae...also delicious! I absolutely love this place! Coming from NY, I never would have expected to find a delicious place for pizza here in Arizona. To make matters worse, I am gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, and do not consume meet...slim picking! After my first time trying Picazzo's, I have been addicted! Every pizza is absolutely delicious, and better yet, has gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options for everything!! The Greek Salad is TO DIE FOR. I cannot stress with enough fervor, try this place. I have been here constantly, and have had nothing but good service and great food, although a bit on the pricey scale. Picazzo's has a wide selection of pizzas, with numerous sauces and toppings, ranging from white sauce to red sauce to olive oil, to pine nuts, artichoke, salami...you get my drift. One of my absolute favorites is the Cheeseburger Pizza, which seriously has a close flavor to In-N-Out burger. Even has "special sauce" on it. Also, for Salads, order the small, unless you're a rabbit. They're huge. The starters are also tasty, I find myself usually ordering the baked brie or the meatballs. Their desert selection seems lifted from oreganos, but with Raspberry White Chocolate. Good, but nothing to call home about. Decent selection of beers and wines are a nice welcome, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. All and all, I like going there when I want pizza, but when I also want a little bit of class.

Came here with some co-workers after a long day at a conference. We were all impressed with the menu selection and were all able to find very tasty dishes. LOVE that they have a gluten-free menu, and a variety of cheeses! I asked to taste the marinara sauce before the pizzas came out - I tend to be pretty picky about the sweet factor. Their sauce was fantastic. And the pizza crust was perfectly crunchy & chewy. Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Flagstaff!

I'm sad to say that the pizza I had there tasted about the same as pizza you might get at a mall food court (but cost quite a lot more, of course.) I've eaten there before and had an ok experience - good enough to try it again on a day that I was hungry and nearby. But wow - it was beyond disappointing this time. The salad was really bad too. Nothing tasted fresh or flavorful. I left feeling really sad that I'd wasted my time, money, and eating on that experience. It also took longer than I would expect for the food to arrive. When I tasted it, that made the wait even more confusing. The whole experience was confusing - why would this be called "gourmet"? On a plus side, the waitress seemed sweet.

What made my experience a two star was the service. To be blunt our server was an idiot. He did not explain or even know some elements of the menu. He kept calling sprite Sierra mist and even filled one of the members of my party's glass with water when it was " Sierra mist". I ended up paying more than I intended because the waiter added in extras even though according to the menu I did not add anything in. Some of the negative reviews confuse me. This place is Delicious!!!! The wait staff is so nice and helpful (Zack, you rock!!!). The food is so good, fresh and flavorful that we will be returning often! They do have pizza by the slice on their lunch menu which was offered to us along with their dinner menu and happy hour menu. The Greek salad was so good, we ordered the whole and shared it along with the California pizza and the Artichoke bottoms from the happy hour menu. We cleaned our plates!! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was so helpful and took excellent care of our table. We loved it! Worth the time and effort!!!!

The pizza here is decent. I think it is a bit better than mall style pizza as someone else suggested, but the crust is just okay. The putanesca pizza was awesome with great olives and feta cheese. Also had the smoke mozzarella but there was way too much bell pepper. Our group also shared a pear and blue cheese salad. Meh. The blue cheese was in tiny tiny crumbles and not nearly enough of it, and its dressing was just too sweet.

Really great food! Pretty pricey though, we did a build your own pizza (half sausage and mushrooms and half tomato and basil) and we both got waters and the bill with a tip included was 25 bucks for the both of us. But all of the ingredients they use are all organic, so I understand why the price is so high. The cheese was really good, really creamy and ....cheesy. The sauce was really good as well, it melted in your mouth. We got the garlic butter dough and it was really good. The crust was nice and thick and buttery. I didn't try the sausage and mushroom side of the pizza but I was told it was good. The tomato and basil side was AWESOME! Our server was Gregory and he seemed nice, my boyfriend said he rolled his eyes at me when I was asking questions about the pizza but I didn't catch it. I would definitely go back to this place when it's in the budget. Pricey but really good! They also have a bar in the restaurant, I didn't see their bar menu or drink specials though. They also have a pretty decent gluten free menu, there is a lot of options for the gluten free eaters including pizza and pasta dishes. After doing some research on the Picazzo's website I was VERY pleased to find they are not only organic but the meat they use is free range and nitrate free, which is very nice to hear. The price is high but then again think of what you are paying for high quality organic food, as well as free range food.

Picazzo's is the best if you need to stick to a gluten free diet, like I do. There's nowhere I can think of that is safe to eat as Picazzo's and it's really tasty to boot. I like that they've gone the organic route, though they changed the GF crust when they did that, and I think it was better before. Other than that, no complaints. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is nice. They have amazing salads. All the food is great, especially the pizza cookies (they even have a GF one). Mmmm!

We ended up here because my daughter was intent on having spaghetti for dinner. Alas, they had penne with marinara which had to do for her craving. I personally wanted a salad and given that they offer "gourmet pizza and salads" I thought that also meant gourmet salads, and not just gourmet pizza. In any case, the pizza that we wanted, they didn't have. And the beer I wanted they didn't have. (Really wish I could give 3.5, not 4.) But the pizza that we DID have was excellent. It was good considering that we stumbled upon it as visitors to Flagstaff.

I never leave reviews, but always read them - this time, I knew I needed to take a moment to rave about Picazzo's - the food & customer service! I contacted them only a few days before I needed to find a location for a LARGE group of families coming into town from Scottsdale for a Flagstaff soccer tournament. If you are familiar with Flag, they don't have many restaurant locations that can accommodate large groups - or at least I don't know about them. I originally told Picazzo's it would be about 40 people, and it ended up growing to approx. 50 - I worked with both Michelle & Greg. They were extremely helpful in coordinating the details. I originally talked to Michelle, who was professional, courteous, and very much accommodating. She doesn't work the weekends, so I continued to coordinate with Greg, who was also very helpful and flexible...I was even able to email him orders ahead of time to have some of the food prepared and ready to go. It was a seamless transition. Although Picazzo's does not have a separate room for larger groups, they were able to put the girls from the team along a large table together and the rest of the families along a separate table. It worked out surprisingly very well...even when we had to make some more room for extras at the last minute - no problem, they were able to manage that without a hitch... Dylan was our server and I can't even believe how he was able to handle this large of a group!!! (I know there was another server helping him, but I didn't catch her name). He was fantastic - professional, easy going, quick and, frankly, just had a great attitude about the whole thing! Get this - he was even able to separate our checks!!! A well-deserved 20% gratuity was automatically added... All the families thought the food was fantastic & amazing and were very happy with the overall experience. I was told later how much they appreciated the whole time together - Watch out, Picazzo's! We'll definitely be back :)!! THANKS so much!!!

About 3 years ago, we got a flat tire on the way back to Texas from Vegas. We stopped in Flagstaff to get our tire fix. I believe it was an autozone. We were of course hungry. My husband said let's go to this organic pizza place. I argued about going here because there is a MEXICAN place across the street. I wanted Mexican! He ended up winning and I was pouting in this restaurant because I wanted mexican and not some organic place..lol. At the time I associated organic with vegan. I only got an organic cheese pizza. I tell you what. IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA EVER. I forgot about the mexican restaurant when I took a bite of this pizza. I never want to forget this place because if we ever are visiting the grand canyon or driving through you better believe I will be stopping here. Thanks to a flat tire and this restaurant 3 years ago. My ways of eating has changed and I go for organic foods now.

Extremely overpriced. Pizza sub-par. The staff was "slammed" with only 1/4 of the tables occupied. We waited 45 minutes for the sorriest excuse for cheesy breadsticks. The pizza was greasy, and the toppings just slid off the crust. I'd rather buy dominos for half the price.

The waiter said that no one in the kitchen had black hair, that everyone was blonde (The color of the hair in my food was black) my husband and I looked back and there where two men in the back with short black hair similar to the one on my food. Gluten free dining in Hawaii is average at best, you are lucky to find a restaurant that has a dedicated gluten free menu so coming to an Italian restaurant whose menu was almost entirely gluten free was a dream come true. The food was pretty good, I'd give it four stars. The pizza crust was one of the best gluten free ones I had and their gnocchi was superb as well, though th eportion was a bit small. We had a citrus cake for dessert which was also amazing, very light and fluffy for a gluten free cake. I also got an order of their bread to go to have for breakfast tomorrow. I forgot that I didn't have butter in my condo to put it on it the next day but I found that after I'd toasted it, it was still quite moist and enjoyable. The one issue we had was they forgot to bring our spinach artichoke dip appetizer. When our entrees arrived I inquired about our appetizer. They apologized profusely, brought it out quickly and comped us both that and our drinks! So they get another star for the great customer service.

I have been a customer of Picazzo's at nearly all of their locations since 2007. I have eaten over 200 meals at Picazzo's in that time as I'm a celiac and must eat gluten-free food. Picazzo's has fundamental problems with quality that, judging from how intense and intractable the problems are, must derive from the very top. It's obvious from the lackluster overpriced food in small quantities and usually apathetic service rife with mistakes large and small and the drab decor that the owner of Picazzo's is an absentee manager-greedskate who probably abuses his management and line staff equally. Mine and friends' recent experiences (past 6 months) at the Flagstaff Picazzo's include disappointments such as the following: A stuffed pepper missing all the stuffing. It was just a pepper in a dish. The waiter offered to refund it, but didn't. When I pointed out it was still on the ticket, he looked at me and said it was refunded and I didn't know what I was looking at. I was too annoyed to argue. Sometimes pizzas are so lacking in toppings it's a joke - they're worse than frozen pizzas. I got a pizza there that had - I counted them - 4 nuggets of sausage and 5 strips of bell pepper on it. Their pizzas cost over $20 for a medium. They should be much more generous and of better quality. An order of spinach manicotti showed up as an order of plain cheese manicotti with a bunch of raw spinach leaves thrown on top. Another time I ordered a gluten free pizza and was given a regular one. I didn't notice until I ate a bite. My waiter didn't apologize - in fact, he was quite arrogant about it. The acting manager did apologize, to his credit. Spinach artichoke dip was this bizarre cup of hot liquid oil with a few green things floating around in it. I never did get to the bottom of that, but the restaurant apologized and took it back. Twice I've placed pick-up orders that I discovered upon arrival had never been entered, therefore, there was no food to pick up. My friend's vegetarian chicken substitution came with ... sigh ... chicken. I began having gluten reactions after eating there during my last month of meals, probably due to cross-contamination with flour. There's no way a restaurant this amateurish could maintain a GF cooking space. My friends won't go with me anymore. I don't really want to go anyway. The market has dealt the death penalty to Picazzo'ses in Sun City, Tucson, Casa Grande, and Tempe which have all closed. When they were open the complaints were constant. Management doesn't return emails sent through their website. The employees seem to have no means to improve things on their own, as they complained to me a few times about how bad it was to work there. If you must eat gluten-free and want to eat well, check out these options that bury Picazzo's in a mountain of gluten-free dust : Taverna is Greek with handsome decor and a few very well made gluten free options and a cheap high-octane happy hour. Pita Jungle is everything that Picazzo's could be and isn't: Attractively decorated, fresh high quality food (including vegetarian and GF just like Picazzo's) in large portions at very reasonable prices - most of the stuff on PJ's menu costs less than half of Picazzo's prices. If Pita Jungle can do it, Picazzo's could too, but at the fork in the road of quality, Picazzo's has chosen the path of suck. There's just no excuse for a restaurant as bad as Picazzo's.

We stopped here for lunch. I was impressed that they are gluten free as my fiance has an intolerance. I enjoyed the salad I ordered, and I liked that they brought me a whole can of coconut water. That was nice. The gluten free pizza was good, but it lacked enough sauce. My fiance enjoyed his pasta as well. It was good, but nothing really outstanding. I have been eating here since they opened. I like that they have gone organic since it provides a choice, particularly when we have friends in town. The taste of all the food served here is a bit different as compared to other pizza places in town. Please note that I said different, not bad. Some folks confuse these two words. There is a reasonable selection of wines and beer. The bar appears to be fully stocked with hard liquor. The service is excellent even when the place is packed. I eat here at lunch about once a month and I get take out for dinner about once a month. Of special note they under stand that my wife cannot have anything from the nightshade family on her food. Unlike some other places they have never botched this for either stay or take out. Additionally, they have several types of pizza that she can eat. This is more than "just" a pizza parlor. There are many different entree's so you should be able to find something to your liking. When dinning in, I have not noticed any issues with noise or crowding. The tables are reasonably spaced and the chairs are comfortable. This is also a place that you can bring business clients for a good lunch or dinner. I have not seen too many kids eating here, but that could well be the result of doing take out in the evening. If you like thin crust pizza I urge you to give their's a try. In sum, I have enjoyed my experience eating here.

Our family (my husband and I, our 3 kids, and their grandparents) had a very nice dinner here this evening on our way back from the Grand Canyon. It was a treat going to an Italian restaurant that is gluten free! I was able to eat the bread that came with our appetizers, and it was actually pretty tasty! - not dry and mealy like gf bread can be sometimes. My kids had a pizza (regular, cooked in a separate oven as they have a dedicated gf space) - there was a mistake and they put pepperoni and olives instead of pepperoni and mushrooms - the waiter made it right right away and also offered a discount to make up for the initial mistake. I had the shrimp scampi - having fresh made gf pasta was a treat!!! The staff was very friendly and it was an overall good experience!

We stopped in and had an early dinner here this evening. While we are not gluten free, we fully appreciate, and seek out, organic healthy options (the restaurant is totally GF...a celiac's heaven!). In a sea of corporate chains and fast food, this was a welcome find! I was a bit overwhelmed by the awesome sounding pizza menu, and the salads featured local greens in eclectic combinations. I ordered the pasta bianca, which was fresh housemade spinach fettuccine, organic chicken, wilted spinach in a cheesy Alfredo. How could I resist freshly made pasta, gf or not?! And the creamy sauce was a rare splurge, but it was an excellent dish and hit the spot. Really good. I also ordered their berry bowl, but was skeptical...who knew how good it would be. It was surprisingly excellent...definitely the largest, sweetest blackberries I've had this year! (And I'm from Oregon, which says a LOT!). Also strawberries, blueberries, raspberries...all organic, and a really good deal for just $2.95!!! Service was decent, but what really set it over the top and earned our server a great tip, was the extra little touch he did as we were leaving (which I won't be specific about because nobody should expect a freebie, ever, and it was just sweet). I'd definitely go back, and I hope to be in Flagstaff in the near future so I can bring my family. (I do find it interesting that an organic restaurant also serves Coke products, but I guess you still have to please the masses....)

I've been a customer for a few years now. Hadn't been in for a few months, went for dinner last week and I couldn't believe how things have changed! Prices are higher, salads were smaller and service was rude. Dillon has to be the worst "manager" I've ever dealt with. He was short with not just me, but other customers and staff! I couldn't believe this guy was a manager. He had the worst attitude and ZERO customer service skills. Picazzo's lost a long time customer because of Dillon's horrible performance as a manager. He doesn't belong in a customer service role, let alone a management position. Get rid of him before he causes you to lose more customers.

We stopped here because we wanted Italian food and organic doesn't scare us, it just means $$$$! After being seated and refreshed with adult beverages noticed everything was gluten-free. What! I'm sorry, I need gluten! My Mrs. had a spinach salad and side of focaccia cheese bread and took a risk and went for Uncle Louie's Favorite with turkey bolonaise, gummy pasta and as usual flavorless turkey, but the tomato sauce was ok. This isn't my style food, but of course that's my opine!

They also increased their prices by ~$1 and the portions were noticibly smaller. Combined with the inattentive and slow service means that I won't be back for a while, if ever.

I love the concept of organic and gluten free. I love the 'option '. I have eaten here now about 7 times and I truly like this place. Everything I have ordered was good. I've had the lasagne, a couple different pizzas, pasta dishes with chicken and spinach to name a few. I got the Hawaiian pizza tonight and it was really good. I think my only request would be for them to cook the pizza a little bit longer. It seems they are a little soggy at the center. I will keep coming back here when in flag though. I LOVE the options!

I came here for my birthday dinner with four others. This place is WONDERFUL. My sister in law has celiac so gluten is usually such a hassle and she is subjected to eating only salads. But this place is amazing everything is gluten free, and she is also allergic to garlic and onion and they were SO accommodating. Her meal was delicious, they traded sauces, didn't add garlic or onions, and switched out the chicken for shrimp because the chicken had garlic too. She is definitely a loyal customer now. Not to mention the food was superb! Everyone had amazing food, we got the Pasta Bianca, the Thai peanut pasta, Turkey bolognese, and artichoke pepperoni pizza. Our appetizers were delicious too and just enough for all of us. We got the artichoke bottoms and cheesy bread (all gluten free too!). The manager checked on us multiple nights and overall it was one of the most delicious meals and beat customer service. Everyone was happy. Also no wait on a Saturday night! A must check out if you want some delicious Italian that's not even that expensive! Very reasonable.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. They need to take a pizza course on how to make a really good crusted pizza. Our small pizza was served with a soggy crust even though we asked for crispy crust. We hardly had any toppings (garlic and basil) and our pizza still cost $20.00. I feel the pizza is not worth the high prices! Our pizza had no flavor or seasoning whatsoever! Again, very disappointed! Would not recommend this restaurant!

For all you vegans out there, here's another one to add to the list. Plus, it's not just a vegan option so you can take your non vegan friends. I love that it's all organic too. Kinda reminds me of an Italian lyfe kitchen. My hubby and I split the vegan pizza. Artichokes, faux chicken, yellow squash, zucchini, and Daiya cheese. The crust is amazing! Not thin, not thick, perfection. Also, the prices weren't bad seeing that it's all gluten free and organic with tons of vegan options.

Just went based on yelp reviews and so happy we did. I was a little afraid to take my teenagers to an organic, gluten-free place, but we pulled up to it, and they gave the OK. They were able to get their own pizzas custom made, so they were happy and said it was the best pizza they ever had. I was able to happily eat gluten-free. I had the gnocchi carbonara. What a treat to have gnocchi again! Since the main course was so good, we decided to have dessert too. The apple crisp with coconut ice cream was amazing, and my son was very happy with his sundae too. Patio seating was lovely and they even provide blankets for when it gets cool. Dogs are welcome on the patio too.

I've been here a dozen times, but never took the time to write a review. Overall, the service is good to excellent and the food is very good. But frankly, it is pretty ridiculously over priced... BUT the happy hour is pretty awesome. However, this time - well. I may be done. Ordered a GF red margarita pizza to go for a me and a friend... wait for it... $25! Yes. TWENTY FIVE bucks for a maybe 12-13" pizza at best. It was good - if you can stand any kind of GF crust - but not THAT good. Nothing special actually. I just can't - in almost any reality this side of the U.S. see myself ever justifying a $25 pizza again. Frankly, UDI's frozen GF pizza crust is WAY better than this stuff and - well, if I spent even $10 to make it - that'd be one loaded pizza.

My daughter and I went for lunch here over NAU parent weekend. I had the blue cheese salad and some gluten free bread. My daughter had a chicken pasta dish. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed with seating inside and outside. The food is phenomenal. I am gluten free and dairy free which can be hard to maintain while eating out. It was absolutely no problem here! I could order almost anything of the menu! The food was excellent and super fresh. For dessert they offer a coconut ice cream sundae with chocolate sauce and candied walnuts. It was delicious! I'm also a wine drinker and they had an extensive list to chose from. I highly recommend anyone with a gluten or dairy allergy to eat here! It's a dream come true!

One of my absolute favorite places to eat in Flagstaff. The food is always top notch and the service is friendly, attentive, and professional. I have always been a fan of the location in Sedona and this last week was my first Flag experience. The food was delicious as always- artichoke hearts filled with dip, berry licious salad, and a variety of pizzas. All of it prepared to perfection. THe most impressive thing about this experience was the service. My friends and I went in beyond hung over, and the server handled us with grace and charm! From bringing a glass of ginger ale to a gal that thought that she was going to die to laughing it up when my other friend scoffed at the suggestion of red sauce then asked for red sauce 10 min later. Wish I could remember his name, b/c I would give a major shout out to him!

The prices are ok, but the food isn't that exciting. If anything, the service is what bothered me the most about this establishment. A few weeks ago, I went there with a few friends, I offered to cover the appetizer and asked for calamari. I looked on their website at the menu, but I did not realize that the menu varies from location. When I asked about the calamari, my waiter gave me this confused look and said " we don't serve Japanese cuisine", I want to emphasize the word "Japanese". I was quite bothered that he seemed upset that I would even say such a thing even though calamari is an Italian dish and WORD, meaning "squid". His crappy attitude and demeanor bothered me for most of the night. Besides the appetizer I ended up ordering (wings), I ordered pasta. Because I was full before the main meal arrived, I ate a little bit but decided to take the rest home. A few hours later, I realized that the noodles were not even cooked! The chicken and sauce were delicious but the noodles were abysmal. The next time I want pizza and craft beer, I will just go to NiMarco's, the prices and food are a lot better.

Came here with party of 10 hoping for good pasta before embarking on a Grand Canyon hike the next morning. The gluten-free pasta was mushy and hard to swallow (it kept triggering my gag reflex). All in my party had the same experience. We understood it was organic Italian food but didn't realize it was gluten-free until we'd already been seated. Would suggest a gluten option as the flavor of my dish (Uncle Louie's Favorite) was actually pretty good. On a positive note, our party laughed all weekend about our gluten-free pasta dishes.

I love Picazzo's. I had been to their location in Tempe many times but this was my first visit to their Flagstaff location. We came up to Flagstaff with a very large group of 50. They were able to accommodate our group with just a couple days notice. Our server, I believe his name was Zach, was wonderful and handled our large group with ease. He had some help from the bus boys. We were in and out in just over an hour. The food came out all together and everyone was happy. I love their lunch combo. It's perfectly sized. Try their puttanesca pizza. SO GOOD! It was a great meal and I would certainly recommend coming here with just a friend or with a large group.

I was in town for a triathlon and my usual Italian place had closed since my last visit. This place was a wonderful find. As their business card reads, "nearly every item is gluten-free, organically produced, and locally grown." I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was made from quinoa and speck, the meatballs from turkey. The portion was perfect and the flavors were amazing. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Flagstaff.

The food is bland and overpriced in comparison to other more authentic pizza restaurants nearby. The staff was definitely friendly and attentive, but I still didn't feel as though that made up for $30 worth of a pizza lunch that didn't even leave my boyfriend and I very satisfied. Dinner last night with my elderly parents. None of us are gluten free but who cares! Pasta was fresh and fabulous! Berry-Lucius salad had only strawberries but literally the best berry vinegrette I have ever had! Dessert was yummy too, and a great wine selection with reasonable glass prices. I can imagine why there aren't more of these. Service was excellent. I would recommend that if shrimp is ordered as added to a pasta or salad it be mixed into the dish rather than throw on top. It was less appetizing that way. If you go ask for Chelsea's section.

I really wanted to like this place. A lot. Gourmet pizza? Lots of organic ingredients? Sign me up! This is where fantasy meets reality. Pizza Picazzo would be a fantastic place if it were either CHEAP or FAST or DELICIOUS. It is none of those things. The pizza is throwaway. Bland, hard crust (normally my favorite part of a pizza). Caesar salad forgettable The service during late lunch (when the place was not packed) was friendly but not fast. Lunch special prices are a good deal but to go order a full pizza... $15 for a small? The other Yelp reviews are schizophrenic --- people seem to love this place or hate it. I'm more down the middle... with a heavy lean towards the "meh." Maybe if I were gluten-free I'd give their menu a second chance... but I'm not... so I won't.

There were some serious issues here last night... did half of their staff call in sick? Was there a huge mistake in writing the schedule? Whatever their excuse, there was no good reason to have a restaurant barely half full and have to make people wait 25 minutes to be seated. Seriously. When we first arrived, we told the hostess that we only wanted dessert. Perhaps THAT would have been the correct time to tell us that they were out of their most popular choice (the skillet cookie)? Oh, and also out of chocolate syrup. For goodness sake, send someone to the grocery store to pick some up! Instead, we had to order the brownie dessert, which is incorrectly named... it is nothing like a brownie at all- just a double-chocolate-chip cookie. Since they were out of our first choice and the syrup, they offered to put whipped cream on. Nice offer... but they forgot to do it. We had to call them back, ask for it, have our dishes taken back to the kitchen... all while the ice cream on top melted. During our time there, we witnessed a number of tables having issues, as well. The GM was arguing with a women about the spice level of her meal - come on! Just FIX the problem... don't argue with your customer! We are really hoping they just had a (very) off night... because if this is their regular service, we'll never return.

I went here on Friday night with my boyfriend, I had been to the one in Scottsdale about 5 years ago and havent been here since. We arrived and decided to sit outside since it was so beautiful outside. We sat at the corner table and within moments a bubbly server came over to great us. We each ordered a drink and wanted a few minutes to look at the menu. We decided on the margarita pizza and a side Asian salad. Food came and it was delicious, although our server was no where to be found. We had to search her down to order another drink, which kind of killed the mood. Besides that, it was awesome! In the restrooms they have lotion, and mouthwash which was something I wasn't expecting. Overall service was OK, Food was good..this is a great place to go for happy hour.

I love Picazzo's! Ok, yeah the food is great all the way around but with my recent wheat allergy, kinda killed everything off the list... UNTIL... I found out they do gluten free pizza's. One would think these things taste like poo and are like eating a flat tire, but no! They are awesome! One recommendation though. The gluten free crust does tend to get a bit soft and chewy after about 10 minutes so I recommend having them do the crust extra crispy so that doesn't happen. It was even tasty the next day right from the fridge. (BBQ Chicken pizza FTW!)

We were seated by a wall and the servers keep bumping into my chair and hitting the top of my head with their trays. Servers are no less than 5 feet from me and complaining to the manager that I am too big to sit at the table and requested that "fat" people not sit at this table. By the way, there were less than 18" between the tables, so basically no person in the restaurant could move freely - it's and ADA nightmare. I ordered the wild mushroom penne sub whole wheat penne and they said they didn't have whole wheat pasta - "this store is too small to stock stuff like that." They apparently have the menus from Tempe and they don't serve many of the items and substitutions on the menu. When my mushroom penne arrived the first time the plate was cold to the touch and the food was only slightly warm, the pasta looked dry and there was no visable sauce, just one large "wild?" white mushroom lazily wilting over the Sahara desert of penne. I asked for a fresh plate to be made. Moments later I was brought a cold plate of steaming hot pasta. I explained to the waitress that throwing my plate in the microwave was not a solution. She said it had not been microwave, but that lazy mushroom was still lounging in the desert of dry penne,- just a little more shriveled - while she maintained it was a fresh plate. The manager then walked up and grabbed the plate, carried it to the kitchen and asked requested a new plate be made. The new plate was hot, as was the food, the serving size smaller, and the pasta had the texture of red vines - sticking to my teeth with each bite and was inedible. Since I was due at the airport in less than 20 minutes, I opted for a pepperoni slice, the crust was mushy and failed to support the toppings, and the edge of the crust had a nasty wonderbread like texture. I took a few bites before leaving. This being said, the waitress handled the situation well once the manager let her know how frustrated we were. But all in all it was too little too late.

To make matters worse, I am gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, and do not consume meet...slim picking! After my first time trying Picazzo's, I have been addicted! I cannot stress with enough fervor, try this place. I have been here constantly, and have had nothing but good service and great food, although a bit on the pricey scale. Picazzo's has a wide selection of pizzas, with numerous sauces and toppings, ranging from white sauce to red sauce to olive oil, to pine nuts, artichoke, salami...you get my drift. One of my absolute favorites is the Cheeseburger Pizza, which seriously has a close flavor to In-N-Out burger. Even has "special sauce" on it. Also, for Salads, order the small, unless you're a rabbit. They're huge. The starters are also tasty, I find myself usually ordering the baked brie or the meatballs. Their desert selection seems lifted from oreganos, but with Raspberry White Chocolate. Good, but nothing to call home about. Decent selection of beers and wines are a nice welcome, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. All and all, I like going there when I want pizza, but when I also want a little bit of class.

Came here with some co-workers after a long day at a conference. We were all impressed with the menu selection and were all able to find very tasty dishes. LOVE that they have a gluten-free menu, and a variety of cheeses! I asked to taste the marinara sauce before the pizzas came out - I tend to be pretty picky about the sweet factor. I'm sad to say that the pizza I had there tasted about the same as pizza you might get at a mall food court (but cost quite a lot more, of course.) I've eaten there before and had an ok experience - good enough to try it again on a day that I was hungry and nearby. But wow - it was beyond disappointing this time. The salad was really bad too. Nothing tasted fresh or flavorful. I left feeling really sad that I'd wasted my time, money, and eating on that experience. It also took longer than I would expect for the food to arrive. When I tasted it, that made the wait even more confusing. The whole experience was confusing - why would this be called "gourmet"? On a plus side, the waitress seemed sweet.

What made my experience a two star was the service. To be blunt our server was an idiot. He did not explain or even know some elements of the menu. He kept calling sprite Sierra mist and even filled one of the members of my party's glass with water when it was " Sierra mist". I ended up paying more than I intended because the waiter added in extras even though according to the menu I did not add anything in. When I protested he said the menu meant two people can be served the pizza even though there is the phrase toppings...

I hadn't eaten at Picazzo's for several years due to bad service and poor food quality. This time the food was better, but the service was the worst; the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. No drink refills, waited over an hour for our food, and still no comps/reconciliation. I will never eat here again.

Some of the negative reviews confuse me. This place is Delicious!!!! The wait staff is so nice and helpful (Zack, you rock!!!). The food is so good, fresh and flavorful that we will be returning often! They do have pizza by the slice on their lunch menu which was offered to us along with their dinner menu and happy hour menu. The Greek salad was so good, we ordered the whole and shared it along with the California pizza and the Artichoke bottoms from the happy hour menu. We cleaned our plates!! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was so helpful and took excellent care of our table. We loved it! Worth the time and effort!!!!

Great Salads. I hadthe Greek Salad and ate outside for lunch. Very enjoyable lunch.

The pizza here is decent. I think it is a bit better than mall style pizza as someone else suggested, but the crust is just okay. The putanesca pizza was awesome with great olives and feta cheese. Also had the smoke mozzarella but there was way too much bell pepper. Our group also shared a pear and blue cheese salad. Meh. The blue cheese was in tiny tiny crumbles and not nearly enough of it, and its dressing was just too sweet.

Really great food! Pretty pricey though, we did a build your own pizza (half sausage and mushrooms and half tomato and basil) and we both got waters and the bill with a tip included was 25 bucks for the both of us. But all of the ingredients they use are all organic, so I understand why the price is so high. The cheese was really good, really creamy and ....cheesy. The sauce was really good as well, it melted in your mouth. We got the garlic butter dough and it was really good. The crust was nice and thick and buttery. I didn't try the sausage and mushroom side of the pizza but I was told it was good. The tomato and basil side was AWESOME! Our server was Gregory and he seemed nice, my boyfriend said he rolled his eyes at me when I was asking questions about the pizza but I didn't catch it. I would definitely go back to this place when it's in the budget. Pricey but really good! They also have a bar in the restaurant, I didn't see their bar menu or drink specials though. They also have a pretty decent gluten free menu, there is a lot of options for the gluten free eaters including pizza and pasta dishes. After doing some research on the Picazzo's website I was VERY pleased to find they are not only organic but the meat they use is free range and nitrate free, which is very nice to hear. The price is high but then again think of what you are paying for high quality organic food, as well as free range food.

Picazzo's is the best if you need to stick to a gluten free diet, like I do. There's nowhere I can think of that is safe to eat as Picazzo's and it's really tasty to boot. I like that they've gone the organic route, though they changed the GF crust when they did that, and I think it was better before. Other than that, no complaints. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is nice. They have amazing salads. All the food is great, especially the pizza cookies (they even have a GF one). Mmmm!

We ended up here because my daughter was intent on having spaghetti for dinner. Alas, they had penne with marinara which had to do for her craving. I personally wanted a salad and given that they offer "gourmet pizza and salads" I thought that also meant gourmet salads, and not just gourmet pizza. In any case, the pizza that we wanted, they didn't have. And the beer I wanted they didn't have. (Really wish I could give 3.5, not 4.) But the pizza that we DID have was excellent. It was good considering that we stumbled upon it as visitors to Flagstaff.
