Use to go to Native New Yorker as a kid. Haven't eaten here in years. After seeing bad reviews for Buffalo Wild Wings down the street. Came here tonight Glad we did. Great wings. Great beer. And Austin was a great server. Def going back!

Service is poor. No Greeter at the door. Came in to pick up phone order. Greeter finally came and went to check on my order. Never saw her for an update for over 15 minutes. It's not ready give me the heads up. The food is ok. Not a place I would make a regular outing. It's hard to go to a place that service sucks. Doesn't make the time out a pleasure.

to be honest, i walked in not expecting much. cold beer, decent food, music. televisions. you know the drill. 1. the food, not super good, kinda crappy actually. i would say below average for sports bar. above average for fast food. 2. the ambiance. hospital lighting. super bright. weird bright. i could hardly hear music. this is a sports bar right? how come im not listening to some classic rock whilst enjoying crispy chicken wings and greasy pizza? 3. the service was the winner here. My bartender/server was Chloe (she seemed to be doing several jobs) and she was on point. I will go eat at places with crappy service if the food is amazing, i will also go to places with decent food and great service. this was super close to decent food, but chloe saved me as a return customer. She chatted me up enough that she wasnt overbearing, and she kept me up to speed when food was coming out. she pours a good beer and she remembered my name after she introduced herself. Its odd that these simple things mean great service nowadays, but they do. I have eaten at 10-15 restaurants this month, usually I eat at the bar, 90 percent of the time my server or bartender does not actually introduce themselves. they will say my name is blah-blah, but not to get aquainted, just to tell me who to search for if they dont return. Chloe reached her hand out, gave me a proper hand shake and asked my name. She also didnt have to ask again. I am only in flagstaff occasionally and have had some spectaciular meals and bad ones, i have had spectacular service and terrible service. This was spectacular service with "needs improvement" food. most importantly, ill be back because of how well I was treated.

I've been here twice now with a friend. Both times the food was good but a little pricy for the portion sizes. The first time we went I got the spicy honey mustard chicken sandwich. It was good but there was almost too much sauce as the bun became very soggy and it was hard to keep the toppings inside of it. The fries are good but I as I said earlier the portions were a bit small. We also had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were decent but I thought the marinara sauce was too chunky. The second meal I had was boneless chicken wings. These were good! I got the sauces on the side so I could try different flavores. It came with coleslaw which was just eh. Overall a good casual place to eat, very similar to Applebee's. Service was friendly and quick both times.

Slow, sllllloooooowwwww, slowwww service! Took forever to get anything, and apparently the bartender was backed up so by the time you received your drink, you forgot that you'd ordered one. Food was mediocre, and we were really sad because we used to love the native in Phoenix, and now that we've moved to LA we don't get to go anymore. We were excited, and left disappointed.

After a long drive, we just wanted to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Hopped on yelp, and were less than impressed with our choices. Chose Native Grill based on the pictures and walked over. Service was friendly. Ordered the dry rubbed chips with salt and vinegar. They arrived, hot, crisp and sprinkled with a tangy salt and vinegar powder. Quite tasty. For dinner, we tried the crispy chicken sandwich, zucchini from the apps menu, and some individual traditional wings in a variety of sauces: asian garlic, strawberry hot, honey hot, and honey chipotle. Loved the sandwich. Was a bit disappointed with the zucchini. I had been hoping for thick, juicy slices of steaming hot zucchini with a thin batter, but these were a little dry and bready for my taste. The wings were all ok, but in my personal opinion, the honey hot was a lot more honey than hot. The honey chipotle wings, on the other hand were the big winner for me, a little sweet, smoky, and a nice kick of heat. Perfection :) Husband had a local dark IPA, which he was pleased with. I tried the Rain Drop Martini and the Mango Fusion Punch. Both were your basic fruity beverages, not terribly strong, but sweet and refreshing. I personally enjoyed the punch more than the martini. Overall, a better experience than I was expecting from the yelp rating. It seems that there have recently been changes to the name of the restaurant and the menu. Perhaps these changes are for the best?

Food was very good and the menu had very good variety. I had the hawian calzone and the Cobb salad was yummy! Plus our waiter, Austin, was very personable and engaged with us. Overall, I had a great experience passing through Flagstaff.
(5)Marci A.
The server was really nice, strange to see that the cashier didn't use the cash box but a small cute little pouch, but service was quick and easy. The traditional wings were quite flavorful and beats some of California's pier wings in my opinion. I especially enjoyed the French fries that were included with the traditional sliders.

This review can only speak to Happy Hour in the bar area. Been here twice now and I will be back again because they have great drink specials and cheap food items during HH from 2-7pm (an hour longer than Chili's down the street) I felt the service was attentive, yet not too fast or too slow. Perfect if you want to hang out a while to watch a game or catch up on sports news.

Friday night and the place was half full. We were a family of 4 and we were sat quickly and professionally and greeted a few moments later by our server, Chloe. She offered the drink specials without us having to ask and she was friendly and smiling the entire time. The food came quickly. My son (15) had the boneless wings, I had the traditional hot wings and a wedge salad, my daughter had pasta off of the kids menu and my wife ordered an array of appetizers for her meal. Now, I consider myself a connoisseur of wings and I fairly give these wings an 8.5. They were cooked perfectly, with a slight crunch, but the hot never got my sweat glands going. I should have gone a notch up but I refrained thinking that maybe the hot were "creepers". My daughter and son were pleased with their choices (my son could not finish his pound of boneless wings) and my wife enjoyed her medley as well. This place is clearly managed well and they have employees who are friendly, professional and well trained. The beer was cold and inexpensive and all in all, this Ft Lauderdale, Florida family leaves an establishment outside of Ft. Lauderdale wondering why they just don't get it where we live. Nice job, Native Grill!
(5)Danny B.
Average restaurant....Saturday night and the restaurant was half full . Ordered take out for 4. It took almost 45 minutes (too long for most people's standards ). The food was good , no issues . Not sure if I would go back due to service.
(3)Hada B.
Fish Fry sucked. Rubbery fish over cooked. $6 for addled piece. No thanks...get me out of here.
(1)Mike H.
Native is fast becoming the best sports bar chain out there. This one has a great facility, tvs everywhere, separate dining from bar, and a first rate bartender. Sunday they have 49 cent wings, I like mine grilled (not on the menu), and it was no problem. Spotlessly clean, this one is 4 stars for sure.
(4)C C.
The best customer service ever. Super friendly staff. If I lived up here this would be my hang out. Staff in the bar went above and beyond.
(5)Charles S.
Service from the time we walked in the door was less then good. Waited for a table while the girl took an order on the phone and she didn't acknowledge us. Waitress left our glasses empty. Food took a long long long time...it was NOT busy!! Glad I don't have to come back here.
(2)Travis W.
Amazing service!!!! Even though they were slammed the night my husband and I went to dinner, they maintained great service throughout. We both work in customer facing enviorments and expect only the best from businesses. Our server, Leanna (AKA "AJ"), provided the best service we have had in a LOOONG time. We were truly impressed. The food, as usual, was outstanding. Will be going back next time we're in Flag.
(5)Dawn B.
Carly was a fabulous server...friendly, great with our special orders, and very attentive. Always love the wings, and salad, but pizza is great too!
(5)Robert Y.
Native Grill & Wings (formerly Native New Yorker) is a sports bar located on Milton Road next to the Pizza Hut. On the surface, its like pretty much any sports bar, you have many options for your alcoholic beverage of choice, it can be very loud at times, it has televisions that are perpetually tuned in to sports at all times, and it has a menu of typical bar food meaning that most it is unhealthy for you. Decor wise, its nice. It has the feeling of a clubhouse of sorts. There are 2 sections, a large and wide open space surrounded by televisions that contains the bar and has tables, and a small section around the perimeter for dine in patrons. I came here on two occasions to watch football and was able to watch the game from every side of the room despite there being 4 games on simultaneously. As far as the food is concerned it was not too bad. They have a nice variety of alcoholic beverages. I had a mimosa that was pretty good, and my friend had a Bloody Mary which was ok. Most of the food items are either greasy or fried, so I don't really like them. However I ended up getting Spinach Artichoke dip and some pizza. The Spinach Artichoke dip was amazing and probably the best I have had in Flagstaff. The pizza was also pretty good. I ended up getting a Garden Medley with a bunch of veggies on it. I used to make fun of the pizza here because it is a Chicago style thin crust and it was called Native New Yorker, but I can't anymore. If you are into wings, I would go here before going to Buffalo Wild Wings because I think they taste better than there. There is also a large variety of wings to choose from, I bad one that was mildly spicy and a strawberry habanero one that was excellent. The service was ok for a place like this. It was slow, and we didn't often get refills when we needed them. However it was a busy afternoon and the place was packed. However I was overcharged for my drinks. This got corrected, howoever I would be careful to check your receipt before leaving because this is the second time this has happened. Overall, I would give this place a try during game day. It has a fun atmosphere and the food isn't too bad either.

We came with a large group of family (20 or so) on New Years Eve and everything about dining here was pretty much awesome! We were seated right away. Our drinks were ordered and brought to us quickly. The chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had and the pizza was also very tasty! I'll certainly be back if I'm even in Flagstaff again!
(5)Brant T.
Ordered $60 worth of take out, called ahead to pick up order, waited 30 minutes once we got there to pick up order. Sliders were overcooked and dried out, fries were soggy. Called to complain and was told could get 20 % off our next order or bring back food, told them no thanks, food was not edible...never going back
(1)Stephanie 'n' Vince L.
Great wings. Grandson loves wings and he said they were very good. I had skinny Asian chicken salad and it was delicious. Glad we came. Quick service.
(4)Tim S.
Best service. Chloe was our server. She is great! Come in and ask for this girl. Tip her well. She's worth it
(5)Matty B.
The ONLY reason they eeked out a 2 star review was their waitstaff. Our server was very good, unfortunately the food wasn't. We had their "pizza and wings" special: an order of chips, a pound of boneless wings, and a large pizza. Let's start with the wings: BAD. They were wayyyyy too breaded, could hardly tell there was chicken inside of them. I chose a honey barbecue and their spicy ranch dry rub. Both were really bad. Their homemade chips were okay, aside from the disgusting amount of seasoning on them. About half of the chips were so over seasoned that they were inedible. The pizza was marginal, at best. Very greasy, and an unusually dry crust. They called it New York style, but it clearly wasn't, as the crust was quite thick and unusually doughy. The kids meals were tiny and looked very haphazardly put together. Stale noodles and sauce from a jar. For us, I can't see spending $47 on food that was as marginal as this was.

Best sports bar and grill in all of Flagstaff!! I moved to Flagstaff in December from Tempe.. and So I was used to quality service coming from a place of high quality service, food and drinks.. I tried many places in Flagstaff and bar none!! this establishment is the best!! Chloe, Annie, Bernie and Courtney are Amazing bartenders and servers!! 10 stars!!! greaaaat service, good food, fun crowds and the best place to watch sports!!
(5)Rick K.
Wings were perfect, beer nice and cold. The service was Excellent!! Would definitely go back.
(4)Isaiah B.
This place over charged me and my family, gave us the wrong sauce, shitty service, old ranch, and the food was absolutely revolting. Food poisoning being the first only experience in this place ensures that we will NEVER return to this place. They're lucky I gave them that one star. If you enjoy peeing from your little balloon knot seconds after eating, have at it.
(1)Mike E.
cold, dry , under sauced wings, all bread, no meat. Poor service, bartender took our drink and food order and was no where to be scene after. No extra ranch or blue cheese like we asked for. Bar top was filthy; as were the bartenders with their stripper like attire. Loud obnoxious patrons at the bar and no mgr to be found to tell him to stfu.
(1)Nakata H.
Great service, food was...nothing to write home about. Sunday night had 48 cents wings and they tasted like 48 cents. Five stars for Bloody Mary.
(3)Jeanette N.
We ordered the Triple Threat but I ate one of each nonconsecatively The Habanero Mango wing was amazing! It was tangy but a different kind of hot than normal chili. Personally I did not like the chipotle wing. The ghost wing was oddly bitter and sour but the aftertaste was so spicy that I started tearing up. The meaty beast and the house pizzas were good. The house special was my favorite though. The pizzas are thin crusted but the crust is folded thin crust to make it seem thicker. This makes it delicious and crunchy. My family came in a group of 16 people and were a bit impatient but the waiters even the trainee, were attentive and got all of our orders right. They even warned us about how spicy the 2 triple threats we ordered would be.

My wife and I came up from Goodyear Az, on a road trip, We hit downtown for fun and then headed over to Native, close to the hotel. Now we our regs at Natives in the Phx area And always have a good expierence, but this Native had a different vibe about it. It wasn't just a big city restaurant but a very friendly warm place . Greeted with smiles within seconds, and we chose the lounge hi top. The hostess sat us down and said our server would be Sarah, It was fairly busy but when Sarah caught a glimpse we were there she was the within seconds , Luke she was beamed over . I asked for a Chelada, she wasn't sure but hot the head bartender Megan, who makes the best Cheladas in Az, they even put a secret rub around the glass, which blew me away , I thought I was at the Belagio In Vegas.. Anyway great food as usual but exceptional customer service!!!! We will go here when ever we are in Flagg.

It's to bad there isn't such a thing as "negative five stars". To sum this place up in one word: SUCKS. The re-branded Native New Yorker needs to take a hard look at where they're going. We ordered their wings, which is what made them famous. The wings we were served were so dry and overcooked that they tasted like chicken jerky. Since we were on our way to show our guests the Grand Canyon, we sent the wings back and ordered the burger platter. Again...disgusting and tasteless. The order of fries contained maybe two dozen burned and shriveled fries. We handed them back to the waitress and asked for our check. Rather than comp us for the inedible meals, they simply didn't charge us for the wings. How kind. The worst part is, we were bragging to our company from Michigan about how great the food was at Native. This is obviously a thing of the past. NEVER AGAIN!
(1)Cindy W.
They're power was @ 50% today & they were still great!! It didn't take long to get out food. Such a great staff!!!
(4)Joe C.
Wonderfully adequate. The 7 dollar menu is good and fills you up. I had the boneless wings and salad. The BBQ Hot sauce was tasty but I think they forgot the "hot" part. Our waitress was friendly and service was prompt.
(3)Erica R.
Don't order take out! We were quoted 20 mins, and had to wait 55 minutes! Hostesses and managers said they would check on our order and never spoke to us again. People were just grabbing tables out of order (at least three more parties ahead of them), and management said absolutely nothing! I felt so bad for the families who were waiting for a long period of time.
(1)Alain S.
I don't know what it is about this place, but it's missing something. It's got a bar; it's got lots of sports-tuned TV's; it's got wings and other sports-attuned foods. But something is still lacking. I don't feel comfortable sitting in the place--not anywhere near as comfortable as I do at Buffalo Wild Wings. The food is really hit or miss (not that BWW's is much better)--I had a club sandwich that was so dry and bland, it nearly choked and bored me to death. The staff--while well-meaning--seem like rejects from an audition they might have had to go through for Buffalo Wild Wings. They whole place is missing any "spice," and for a wings and grill place, that's the exact wrong thing to lack.
(2)Jo H.
Love coming here for the atmosphere. I am able to hang out and watch any game I would like. Not overly bothered by staff but given just the right amount of attention. Food is great especially when you come in and order the daily special or happy hour. The right amount of quality for the right price. Prefer the bar area. Better more attentive service. Chile peppers hot wings grilled extra crispy are the best!
(5)Christopher M.
When this location originally opened, I felt as though they had great service and excellent food. however, the last few visit have been mediocre at best, and down right terrible at worst. My family and just had lunch at the restaurant, and much to our disappointment it was less than average. I purchased the chicken ceasar salad, in which the chicken tasted alright, but could have been seasoned better. But most disturbing was that the ceasar dressing, or lettuce, had a very gritty taste, as if there was a small amount of sand. I ordered the two sliders with fries for my kids, and was unimpressed with the overall presentation. The slider buns looked as if they had been burned, and the fries looked and tasted as if they had been dredged up from the bottom of the fryer. All in all, the meal was pretty bland and unappetizing. If we head to the restaurant again anytime soon, I will probably stick with an order of wings, as they seem to do ok with those.
(2)Jaime S.
We ordered a pizza for carry out. One pizza, one half pepperoni and the other half sausage. Not complicated. Took the girl about ten minutes to enter it in the computer. We understand people are new to jobs and are learning, no big deal. Husband picked it up and brought it home. Opened it and the order was wrong. It was almost a $20 pizza, so he called to let them know their mistake. They placed the blame back and forth. Offered us a new pizza, and said they would deliver it. Said it would be a 90 minute wait. It was getting late and we have two young children and they'd be asleep. Said we could come and pick it up. We didn't want to drive all the way back. They offered a 10% discount. Pizza wasn't great. We've always loved going to Native New Yorker in the valley. Sadly, this one isn't up to par.
(1)Melissa M.
Great Sunday happy hour, bartender was very friendly and lots of big TV's to watch sports! The dry rub lemon pepper wings are delish and hit the spot.
(4)Chris B.
Wings and sauce were subpar. Service was unhelpful. Fries were soggy and cold. They have a light above the fan creating a strobe light. Bottom line there is no reason to go here. You can get better food for the same price somewhere else.
(1)Derrick Z.
we have been to a couple of locations in the phoenix valley. we knew what kind of service and quality of food to expect. this was a 1st time to this particular location. we ate lunch here on 12/26/14 around 1pm. there was no wait and were seated immediately. our server did a great job of tending to the needs and wants of our party of 10 people. not the greatest of service but she did a good job. our spinach & artichoke dip was good. for lunch we ordered crispy chicken sandwich, club, wings, 2 kids meals. for what we paid we enjoyed our meal. we enjoyed our lunch experience and glad we were able to sit under 2 tv's. we would go back again. our meal for 2 adults and 2 kids was $53.
(4)Turtle W.
Sauce-wise: Strawberry Hot is pretty good and unique. Suicide is hot but not burn-your-face hot. Onion rings are ok but beware of the serving size (large).
(3)Debra W.
WORST service ever. Steer clear unless you want tatar tots for dessert. Raul...you are a joke. How about a teeny weeny attempt to make things right. Never again no respect no service equals no tip
(1)Michelle D.
I had a coupon so decided to check it out. Service was slow, and the wings and various appetizers we ordered tasted like they had been cooked many hours ago and reheated. The wings were tough and everything was over-salted. You can catch the game there on the many TVs, but you could also cook something tastier at home and watch the game there.
(1)Joel S.
Visited on 11/14/13 and while the service and food was good, over a 20 minute wait for wings was a bit much. The place was not busy and had plenty of help by the looks of it. The only thing I did not like was the "comfort" level- the restaurant was very bright and not very sports barish.. I am not sure what they are trying to accomplish here but the place was lite up like a doctors office with obnoxious bright lights. Overall however, food was good and service was decent. I have always enjoyed their food and will return as I always leave happy!
(3)Jessie R.
Everything about our visit was terrible. First they sit us inside at the table closest to the patio doors and we have children, and we could smell all the smoke from everyone outside every time they opened the door. Our waitress brought our drinks out and then disappeared, even the people behind us were complaining about how long she was gone. We asked her twice to fill up our daughters water, and she ignored us. The girl that helped our waitress bring the food out looked absolutely miserable and you could tell she did not enjoy her job one bit. The chicken sliders we ordered were so drenched in the sauce, they were absolutely disgusting. As we were leaving we noticed people waiting to be seated and the hostess clearly ignored them while talking to another employee. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, ever.
(1)John C.
Happy hour starts at 2. Great spot for a late lunch you don't come back from. 1/2 off apps, and the service is great because it isn't crowded yet. The flatbtead cant be beat at happy hour prices.
(4)Joseph G.
Service rocked. Food straight up sucked. Need better meat. Tastes and just feels gross. Avoid this place.
(1)Graeme W.
The next best thing to eating 12 day old road kill. The food was meticulously overcooked so that the boneless chicken wings resembled small rough pebbles and had the same sort of consistency. The only Chinese in the Chinese Chicken Salad was the bowl it was served it and the cheap tin cutlery which accompanied the meal. My son ordered a pasta dish which looked NOTHING like the image in the menu, in fact it was the equivalent of some old fat dude posting a photo of a shirtless Daniel Craig on a dating site. You can't complain about the service because there isn't any. I made two trips to the waitstaff station to retrieve plates and the aforementioned cheap tin cutlery. It was good exercise as I was losing feeling in my legs from sitting for so long. As a rule I would suggest that anyone who a) likes food b) hates to waste their time and money c) enjoys enough neglect and disinterest at home should avoid Native New Yorker like the plague. Only good thing about it was the manager who was embarrassed and gracious with his response to the situation. for that I say thank you and suggest that there are numerous other restaurants which would better suit the calibre of his talent. thanks for not very much
(1)Ashley S.
My husband and I have regularly been coming here for several months and we absolutely love it! We sit in the lounge and enjoy all the waiters and the amazing service, not to mention the food! Sarah, Meg, Annie and Crystal. Defiantly recommend this place for great service and food!
(5)Joseph S.
Food was good. Wings were cold, again. For some reason the pizza was soggy and had an odd aftertaste cause of it. At least everything tasted good enough and our order was right the first time. That's rare for them.
(3)Jon W.
Lots of tvs like most NNY locations. Service was fairly good, but ordered lasagna with a side salad and of course the salad came at the same time as the entree. Real restaurants don't do this... They've jacked the wings up to 70 cents each.... and they came warm, so they were fairly cold within five minutes. The wing flavor was good, but cold wings with good flavor don't get it. Boneless wings came absolutely caked in BBQ sauce. Ok place for a few wings (maybe) and a beer to catch a game, beyond that forget it. somehow spent $65 incl T&T for four entrees and two sodas. don't really see the value in this place and there are lots of alternatives if you're going to spend $15/person. BTW, I actually yelped this place ahead of time and didn't want to go here but was outvoted and it pretty much lived up to expectations.
(2)Alan B.
I hav not had a chance to dine in but come in once a month for there amasing choice of wings to go. Not the drab flavor chouces you see at other types of places. From mango to asian to dryrubs the palet never goes dry with there mouth wattering selection. Hope to dine in one evening with the wife and get the full experence.
(5)Tiffany V.
My boyfriend and I love this place. I recommend that you sit at the bar though. The wings are amazing, try the suicide and the hot honey mustard! Never a complaint for here, the atmosphere, food, and service is excellent!
(5)Sopheak S.
I don't know why and I feel like I am going against all the other bad reviews, but I really love this place. I love how big the menu is (even I always only get wings), and i love the tuesday and thursdays specials. 45 cent wings when you dine in and a big $4 blue moon! My favorite wings are definitely the salt and pepper wings. they are still crunchy and surprisingly flavorful. I usually don't like buffalo wings, but i really their hot. Just the right amount of kick. I tried the suicide, their hottest wings, and it was pretty awesome. I have had the hottest wings at other places for wings like bdubs and lumberyard; this is just a more flavorful really hot wing. It is very hot but has that roasted pepper quality which I like. The employees have always been pleasant and I have had a good experience everytime I have been here. Just a great place to hang out and enjoy good food and drinks.

Today was the official opening day, and man do they need about another week of training. We were greeted and seated by a hostess that basically read us the menu and her little speech was WAY too long. Then our server, Cheyenne, appears a second later and asks for our order... After her first 4 visits to the table (which felt like one visit each minute we were there) we knew what we wanted, ordered, and then proceeded to wait. Not to say we were ignored, Cheyenne definitely paid us about 15 visits in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately our food took 20-30 minutes and was just okay. Nothing special about the taste and the presentation was a little embarrassing. The "dinner salad" was gross. The reason I am giving two stars is because I have to give them a little slack for just staring. Also, right after we had gotten our food we were visited by the manager who asked about our experience and made us feel a little better about spending $9 on a sandwich. We probably won't go back.
(2)Amy T.
Delicious wings but the rest of the meal was lousy. "Scratch" spaghetti dinner was not scratch. Asked for a dry Martini and after 3 visits by staff to our table to ask us what that was, waiter brought straight, room temperature vodka and 3 olives in a martini glass to the table. The ambience is pleasant and the sports bar experience works. Will not return due to food quality and lack of knowledgable staff.
(1)April c.
I loved the salt and pepper chicken wings! Just wanted to get that out there. Tuesdays and Thursdays they have 45 cent wing night, and draft Blue Moon and flavored vodkas. I ordered some Blue Moon, had some bleu cheese chips, and grubbed on some wings! They were all relatively good, but the salt and pepper stuck out the most, and that was solely what I got the next time. So good! Unfortunately, the other times I have had it, once for takeout and once for dine-in, they were really really greasy. To the point where I felt like the grease coated my throat. The second time I started soaking the wings on my napkin first and the napkin ended up pretty soaked. Still worth it though, even with the extra work! And the pineapple flavored vodkas with soda are good! Service has been pretty good, especially for how crowded it is all the time. Just thinking about those wings makes me hungry right now..
(4)Travis H.
The 3rd different restaurant at this spot...beats Perkins, or Garcia's and their strong Margaritas. Lots of their menu I would eat, even though the calzone I bought was hardly the best I have had. Very clean, lots of tvs.
(4)Erik P.
I come here with the girl for Karaoke Saturday night. The host Ryan is a pretty friendly guy. The crowd that comes every Saturday is pretty friendly and they sing pretty good. But it's Karaoke and they like to have fun and sing silly too. The happy hour after 10pm is pretty good. We like to get the Mozzarella sticks and Long Island Ice Teas.

I have been coming here regularly since they opened...great wings and chicken strippers with a lot of great sauce choices, and great daily deals! Happy hour (2-7, M-F) has great drink specials and half-priced appetizers. Also love their Cobb and Wedge Salads. Service has always been great! Bartenders (Megs and all) are always friendly and energetic, and take great care of us! I usually don't rate up chains, but I love these guys!

My boyfriend and I come here almost every Saturday night for half-off appetizers after 10PM. There's karaoke, WII, and tons of entertainment at this location. The servers have always been very nice and attentive. We usually spend less than $20 on food (the chicken strips and mozzarella sticks are our favorites) and a couple of beers each. This is definitely a great place to be for some mellow fun and good food.

We went here for pre-opening night and it was horrible, we waited over an hour and a half for our food and had to leave with no food because we had plans for later in the evening. Phil, I think that was his name, gave us a coupon for our next visit to apologize for the wait and no food. The second time we went we had Maria, she was one of the best servers I had ever had. Drinks were always full, food was served quickly, our order was correct ( I made some changes to the pizza I ordered, Veggie Feta Pizza REALLY good ) and everything was nice and hot, and she let us know all of the happy hour specials that were going on. Maria was also very friendly and personable. Next time we go back to Native we will definelty request here as a server and I recommend everyone else to request her too! Maria is the reason I am giving this resturant a full 5 stars, her service and hospitailty saved our opinon of the resturant and we will definelty be back because of her!

I'm going against most of the bad reviews here. I've been here at least half a dozen times since it has opened, and from my first visit to my most recent, I have always had a good experience. The wings are by far the best I have found here in Flagstaff. Crispy when they come out, not overly sauced, and most importantly not fatty. I get the honey hot, by far my favorite here. The wait staff has been fine in my opinion. The food comes out hot and correct. On my fourth or fifth visit I had the server that I had on my first visit and he remembered me and my wife. Was very helpful and kept my drink full. That's pretty much my only requirement when I go out to eat. Be polite, keep my drink full and don't bug me. I will definitely be back.

2 words... Native Strippers .... I am not usually a boneless wing type guy. But man these strippers are the best pieces of chicken i have ever tasted. You get the full wing flavor without the 2/3 bone. I could eat these everyday they are that good. It is fun to sit outside. I have been 4 times and have yet to sit inside because of the great weather. We go every time they have half priced appetizers and get the Native Sampler - Its like a full meal and at half price you cant beat that anywhere in Flag.

Co-workers and I decided to try them out for lunch today. The menu was packed full of things I would love to try. I settled on the Steak, Cheese, and Bacon sandwich. On the menu it stated thinly sliced rib eye, it was quite a bit like a run of the mill overcooked roast dip type meat which lacked any seasonigs or flavor at all. It was mediocre at best. Co-worker got the Skyscraper burger, by the name we expected it to be a super tall stacked burger, ended up being a pretty standard double cheeseburger. He stated it was good yet lacked any seasonings as well. Service wasn't bad however took a seriously long time to get the food. There wasn't very many diners there, so not sure what the hold up was. I'd still be intersted in trying some of the other items on menu, however maybe at a different time of day when hopefully a chef that knows how to use basic seasonings like salt and pepper is on shift.

I was going to order a pizza and wings which was going to be over 40.00 and when I told them I had checked in to get my five dollars off they said I had to email it to there location. When the app clearly says to just show it to the employee and as result I said forget it I am not working to save five dollars!

Went back again on a dare. Ordered a coors light draft special to watch football. It was flat and horrible - if you cannot pour a draft beer special i don't know what else I can say. There is no reason to spend money here. Buffalo Wild Wings remodel is amazing - just sayin

Big disappointment on our second visit. The beef sandwich and the fries were super salty! The side salad was old. The meatloaf was ok. The best part of the meal was the $3 bloody Mary's. Probably will not return.

Update: We've been here half a dozen more times. The wait after ordering has never been less than half an hour; tonight at 9:30 it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and the chicken strips were cold. My son, who loves this place dearly, said his club sandwich was inedible, and he refuses to go back. Took us 90 minutes to get out.

The first time we tried native new yorker in flagstaff we went when they first opened. We ordered chicken strips that were tossed in sauce and when I went to cut one of them I noticed that there was a strange black substance on it. I looked and it was on the silverware in the grooves of the knives. I asked for anther set of silverware and was brought one with the same exact problem. Personally I prefer clean silverware and like to eat my food without extra things being added from the silverware. When I mentioned it to the manager Raul, he didn't seem too concerned and said that the silverware was new. I don't really care if it's new or not it should be clean! We have been back since and had so-so service but on our last visit (which will be our last visit ever) we had a terrible time. First of all we asked for a booth and were sat in the noisy bar (even though there was no one else sitting in the dining room area. There also seemed to be a staff meeting happening in the bar area and they were all drinking and incredibly loud. I know it was staff because I have seen them there before. It seemed completely inappropriate for them to be drinking and talking about who they "accidentally slept with last night." We waited for about 15 min before a server even greeted us. We ordered drinks and then waited for about 20 min for her to come back to take our order. I would understand if they were short staffed and the place was packed but there was only 3 tables eating in the entire restaurant and there were tons of staff in the back just milling around and talking. Finally my fiance was able to flag down the server and just ask if we could pay for our 2 sodas. She was nice and just said to not worry about paying for it. Instead of eating there we drove over to nimarcos and had wonderful wings and wonderful service. We will not be returning to NNY.

Stopped here on our way to the Grand Canyon. We had burgers which were ok but pretty small. The portion of fries was also small. Apparently hot wings are their specialty but we just had burgers and beers.

While we are terribly disappointed that Native has changed their wings, we thought we would give them another shot and just order strippers. Food was okay, just not what it use to be, but service and even the response from the manager when we expressed our concerns did not come close to meeting our standards.

Welp... What kinda place is this not too good for service and the spinach dip taste a lil bland. We had to wait over 1 hour to get our food and drinks. I would say other Native New Yorkers top this place. I have been to better. I would most likely not return.
(2)Brian W.
The layout is boxy and lacks atmosphere. Flat screen televisions cover the walls. The pizza, however, is excellent, and an excellent value. Well worth a vist.

MegZ the server/bartender is the best server I've had so far. Very attentive, caring and personable! Ask for her!!

Not your NNY of the Valley. I made the mistake of not Yelping this place before I stopped in (Blasphemy, I know, but I paid for it). Walked into an empty front of the house. Didn't know if it was seat yourself or not, but the host eventually came in and sat us. First impression was GREAT TV's. Man, if you are here to watch the game and drink, this is the place. Just don't eat here. I was here with the fam, and Jose' our server was great! Attentive, quick, just what you would expect from a top-notch server. Then it went down hill. We shared the sampler platter. My wife and daughter each ordered a medium-well burger, I ordered 6-suicide wings and 6-hot wings. The sampler platter was good and came out quickly. The burgers and wings came out at the same time. My wife's was good, but I asked my daughter why she wasn't eating her other half of her burger and she showed me that instead of medium-well, it was just this side of RAW! Of course, I explained that she has to let me know before eating half of it that she is not happy with it (I'll have her Yelp trained soon). My 6-suicide wings were good, but suicide is as a bit of an overstatement. For guys like me that would even consider ordering suicide wings, you'll know what I mean...a little on the hot side, but NOT suicide. The other 6-wings were inedible because of the HUGE amount of salt in the sauce. It tried two of them hoping it was just a bad wing, but it was just way too salty. Jose, our server was clearly upset with the way the rare (supposed to be medium-well) burger was cooked. The host/manager came over and I explained what was wrong with the meal. I did not expect to be comped the wings (and I wasn't). I didn't expect to be comped the burger since my daughter ate half of it, but she did ask for a desert and the host/manager said he could definitely make that happen. He did, but charged us for it. When I pointed it out to Jose, he went and got the burger comped. Better deal for us, but why did I feel like I had to constantly bring the food quality to their attention? I told Jose to have the cook try one of my wings...wonder if he did. On a positive note, my daughter loved the desert.

The buffalo wings are the best I've found so far. Service is pretty good. It depends on when you go and who your server is. I think the Nat. N.Y.er is improving in this area. Still for me, the wings can't be beat. Honestly, I've never tried anything else...go there just for the wings.

This place is great if you want a nicely priced meal and a couple beers while watching the game. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The servers and managers were very friendly, especially our server Maria. Great happy hour and backwards happy hour deals too! Definitely would go back. Glad Flagstaff got one!

Today was there test day. You never would have known. The service was great and the ribs were perfect, as was the desert. I'll be going back :)

Potatoes skins fresh!!!! I highly recommend this place to everyone!!! My friend who I was visiting said the food was good, but the service was lacking ~ thank God we got Sean when we went in!!! He was AWESOME!!! Very helpful and efficient!!! My mom got a margarita and she loved it!!! The desserts were also awesome!!!

This was my first visit (and maybe last) to "Native New Yorker" Flagstaff location. Concise review: hard to tell if the business was open, no hours of op sign, no obvious looking main entrance, no greeter and staff argued about whom should seat the guest (us), the waiter seemed new and needed training, waiter didn't read us any specials like the other staff were doing for other tables (until I asked about 3 times after he visited our table), wings were too saucy and soup-like, calzones seemed rather salted maybe the cheese (I couldn't tell what made the calzone salty) - again the waiter needed training, our waiter did nothing special but bare minimum.

Decent food but don't try to substitute fries for coleslaw on a platter! No way could they ever do that. Lame
(2)Jerica N.
If you have kids and want to watch the hockey game THIS is the place to go! The food is served in large proportions, and they offer a wide variety of beers/ specials. All the tv's are positioned fore easy viewing and the noise level wasn't bad at all considering how busy it always is. I really like the atmosphere, and the service is always friendly though they are slow at times.
(4)Adriana B.
Delicious wings! The BBQ hot are the way to go. Wait staff is friendly, will stop here again on our next trip.

i stopped by here with my fam to watch the texans game and man am i a fan! the waiter was very tentative of our needs plus the manager catered to us needing channels changed so that we could watch the game. great job guys!
(5)Tracy K.
Not good at all...tried three separate times and food is not as quality as McDonald's . Had roast beef sandwich very salty and processed . Don't waste your $

After waiting one hour to get my cold food and seeing a group who came in a half hour after we arrived receive appetizers and entrees before we got anything more than our drink so of course we did not eat there and ask for to go box and to go drinks that we never received we were treated as if we were wrong for demanding better service, no to mention being blatantly ignored by the manager who greeted and seemed more engaged in the other guest personal interest and quality of service. In conclusion, this was my first time dining at Native New Yorker and will surely be my last. Recommendations for this restaurant will not be coming from me.

True story. So, we're on our way to Phoenix from the Canyon last Sunday. We stop in Flagstaff to get a bite at another establishment, but it was closed for Easter. We pull over to do a GPS restaurant search downtown, and another vehicle parks behind us. I get out to ask a local where to eat. The passenger in the vehicle recommends NNY. Turns out, she's an employee. She starts to give me the number to phone in the order. When I jokingly suggest she call for me, without batting an eye, she does. "What would you like?" I reply, "How about a good burger?" "Native burger" she says. "How do you want that cooked?" "Steak fries or curly fries?" She takes my order on the side of the road, tells them we need plates, napkins, the works and that I'll be there in 10 minutes. Done. She's off the clock, but goes the extra mile to help out some tourist. Thanks again, Megan! The burger was great, and you deserve a raise!

Probably the best place in town to watch football/baseball. Wings are OK - the salt, pepper, and garlic are pretty good. Typical Flagstaff service (slow, multiple mistakes). I'd pick this place over BWW any day.

Went today for their opening day, I'm giving them 3 stars because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they can improve in time. Service was a bit much, we were bombarded with deals that weren't even active (eg., wing deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it was Monday). Overall the service was very observant of us and brought out everything in a reasonably quick manner, they just explained everything a little bit too much (even our check was explained). We got some wings to start, the sauces were very tasty and wings crispy, but they came out cold; not uncooked cold rather like they had been sitting there for a while after coming out of the oven. We also got a pizza which ended up being soggy in the middle. I will give them some time to work out the kinks as they refine the restaurant a little bit more. For now I'll just stick to happy hour drinks.

Went for the United Way fundraiser which I really appreciate them doing. Wings were dry and overcooked, onion rings were fantastic. Took a long time to get our food so it looks like the kitchen needs a bit more practice. Servers very friendly and helpful.

This place is a great place to get some great food.On a recent trip to Flagstaff we dined in the bar, my husband is a big wings fan and the bartender, Jenni was very helpful with what choice to make with their many available choices. He loved all of them, but his favorite was suicide. I got the Italian Beef, it was amazing. The bartender was smiles the whole time we were there and made sure we always had a drink. We are looking forward to going back to Flagstaff and we will be sure we eat there again
(5)Will S.
By far the worst place to get wings in flagstaff. Service was crap and the place ran out of beer during one of its opening days. Also when we finally got our wings they were small and cold. If your looking for the best wings and beer check out The Lumberyard.

LOVE, love love this place. It's exactly what Flagstaff needed. I have yet to have ANYTHING here that wasn't stellar!
