Great breakfast, reasonably priced, waitress was great to recommend portion size for our three children. I didn't give 5 stars because it took awhile to be attended to, but once we were it was a good experience.

Imagine the most animated personality you know ( that neighbor, uncle, aunt or friend) .... You got them pictured? Ok, now imagine you ask them how they liked the breakfast they just had at "Country Host"? Their reply is: "whew, baby that shit was bland!" The place was once a decent restaurant and the guy retired and sold the joint; now it is the country host. I stopped here and ordered a sausage omelette with home fries and pancakes. Folks every damn thing on my plate tasted like off brand packaged foods in your local walmart freezer section. My gosh what is going on here! The place is nice inside check out the pictures, the prices are really inexpensive (I'd leave the prices low too if it's all from Wally World). The place is clean, the people are decent. Final call: I'd recommend going somewhere else.

This place is OK. Nothing special or noteworthy. The food largely seems pre-packages (like everything comes out of a box or a can). Service was friendly, both for dinner and breakfast. Prices are decent. Ambiance is average. Is it bad? Nope. It's perfectly fine. Just nothing worth raving about. If you happen to be in the area - might as well eat here but don't go out of your way to get here.

The hubby and I had the Bandito Burrito and the Patty & Eggs. The burrito was delicious it was a melt in your mouth tasty experience full of flavor and did not disappoint. The patty and eggs were ok to me, they were cooked well but neither the patty, eggs or home fries had any real seasoning, for me I love to experience flavor in all my dishes, but for someone like my hubby this dish is ideal because he can add his own amount of salt and pepper to season it the way he desires! All in all this was a thumbs up from both of us!...Oh and yes my coffee was hot!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This was our third time to this country host thinking that "hey maybe they have the kinks finally worked out." Boy was I wrong! It was not busy for a Sunday morning and there was plenty of staff on hand but for some reason, it took forever to get anything... High chair, drinks, order taken.... We got to the point and just asked for our food to go. It's a good thing we checked out boxes before leaving because our order wasn't even correct and our server even wrote it down! I've been in the food service industry for a long time and normally I don't like to complain but this place is just so bad I couldn't help but write a review in hopes that someone will read it and help this poor establishment! From now on we will make the drive to go to the country host on the other side of town!!!

This place is just not good. The food is okay but they have no sports channels for their many fancy TVs and charge $4.75 for a domestic bottle. Go to the one on butler but don't waste your time here.

We stop in for our time to see if we could find a new local favorite Breakfast spot. They kinda missed the mark. Coffee was good, plentiful and hot. I had the chicken fried steak with 3 medium eggs. Chicken Steak was previous frozen and you could tell, eggs were very runny and still clear yoke through out which is not medium. I chose country potatoes, these also seem to be previous frozen potato cubes with no season or onions but rather just dropped in the fryer. Servers were very friendly and speedy which is nice. Also over priced but that's most of Flagstaff, we may visit again but won't be a regular go to spot.

Steer clear of this place! The best thing about it is that it is so bad that I am sure it will be replaced by a different restaurant soon. Spent $45 to go out with my husband for dinner. What a waste. Their signature "sow cooked" "so tender they fall off the bone" ribs were boiled, very tough, and tasted like chemicals. Maybe they used too much of that bottled smoke flavoring stuff. I Don't know, but I ate one rib and left the rest. Sides were straight out of a can. Even the lettuce in my salad was bitter and the dressing nasty so I didn't eat that either. My husband's hamburger was dry and tasteless. The only good thing were the fries which were average at best. The server was nice and tried real hard but she was the only one so she wasn't able to get back to us to check how we were doing until about 20 minutes after we got our food and 10 minutes after I had run out of my drink. She also didn't know the menu so she guessed and told us a couple of things which were inaccurate.

Too expensive. Drove all the way from California. Food wasn't hot. Coffee wasn't hot. Water tasted like it wasn't filtered at all. Waffle tasted like Eggo Waffles, not freshly homemade. Pancakes tasted like rubber. Waitress was very "ehhh," very customer friendly however, she didn't care about our food or coffee being cold. Our family will not be attending this restaurant again and will be passing along our experience to our friends and family.

Same menu as the other Country Host but more modern decor. Food was OK but nothing special. Felt the prices were a bit high for what you got. ($9 for a mediocre tuna sandwich and fries plus $2 for a drink??) Only one waitress working but it wasn't busy and she was incredibly on top of it and super friendly. Meh, nothing memorable to make me want to come back..

Three of us went to this place on sunday morning. First, there is no indication to seat yourself or wait. The staff was unhelpful, so we sat ourselves down. Long wait for water and wait staff. Menu is on the table, but only two, so we shared. Sometime later, we are asked for our drink order, coffee all around. Some more time later, our order is taken. Forty minutes later, nothing. Not even another cup of coffee. We watched other people walk out and so our time had come. We walked out. This place will fail, as there is no visible manager, the wait staff (five) is huddled on one end and doing ????? Too bad I cannot tell you about the food. If you gots lots and lots of time to waste, check it out and let me know.

Fresh, hot coffee and a nice atmosphere! I'm a big fan of the huevos rancheros breakfast.
