Atmosphere: 3 stars Service: 2 stars Food: 3 stars Price: 2.5 stars Service was SLOW! The server was very friendly, but extremely slow especially for how few people where there. Upscale bar food. Food was good, not great. I had the caprese salad with chicken it was okay. My husband had a BLT with french fries and a side of Mac and cheese. He loved the fries and the macaroni, the sandwich was just okay. Prices were higher than expected. For 2 entrees, a side, and one house brewed root beer our bill was $50 without tip. Atmosphere was interesting...rolled silverware and linens implied a more upscale restaurant. Decor was more of a pub or bar. The bar top had a fluorescent blue under light which looked like a club. Not sure they even know what kind of restaurant they want to be? I would come back here for drinks on the patio. I probably will not come back for a meal.

This place is modern, friendly, and alive. It's is a craft beer mecka with 84 taps, and a great variety of bottles. The staff are on their game, and knowledgeable of all beers and food. This place fills up fast, but there are plenty of seats. It's only open from 4-11 but it's a good time. I had the fish and chips with mint peas, a great dish, and the tartar sauce is worth it. All the dishes look great, and with an open kitchen you can see them preparing it all. In the spring time, try to sit outside, with fresh air and a gas fire pit, Makes for a great atmosphere. I will be returning here for sure. I just hope they get a lunch menu soon.

My wife and I ate here again over the weekend. We tried this place a couple of months ago with our kids and were not impressed so we decided to give it another shot. We wasted our time as this restaurant is not worth it. I am a beer fan and I had high hopes for their beer list. The majority of their beers are from AR, MO or OK. I can get those at a lot of places around town. The first beer that I selected I was later told they did not have. I decided on a similar style that the server suggested and it was pretty bad. At that point, I decided to try and flight of four beers only to later be told that they did not have two of them despite them being on the beer list. I gave up and stuck with my water. My wife had her cornbread delivered before the rest of the food. I personally like it when the server provides you with a plate when you get food instead of having to go find them yourselves. The cornbread consisted of two small Easy-Bake Oven style muffins that were hard to pull apart and had zero taste. My wife asked for some butter to try and make them edible which the server returned with an told us that she had to cut the butter slices herself (It looked like it). The butter could not save these little rocks of cornbread. My appetizer was average (biscuits and gravy). There was hardly any gravy on the plate so it was more like biscuits with a hint of gravy. My wife had oysters which were fine and a side of mac and cheese which she said was not good. At one point a manager came over to ask how our meal was. I gave him some honest feedback and then he proceeded to tell us about all of the problems that they were having. Quite frankly, I didn't care to hear about their issues. This place was mostly empty on a Saturday night. Maybe the large apartment complex opening up right across the street will help them bring more people (Those who do not want to drive to a better restaurant).

Love the place. The food is great! However It's a hit or miss on staff. Some are better then others. I'll keep going though.

I own a local business and had been hearing about Fosters. Stopped by a couple of weeks ago and have not had time to add my thoughts here. Service was great, pleasant and friendly. Server explained the questions my wife and I had about a few of the choices. Ordered a flight of their very own Craft Beer to taste what they were making there. I think there is 80+ taps of beer from all over the globe. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my wife the beef short ribs, both were amazingly good. Had the manager stop by for kudos as it's rare these days to have everything correct. Will no doubt go back !!!

Had a burger here that was $12 and it was not good. The fries were overcooked as well. Good to hang out in groups here because of the ambiance, but would not come here for the food.

Had our first experience with Foster's last night. After reading the menu we were pretty excited with it's modern take on some classics. The cocktail menu was interesting and the spirit/wine and of course the beer selection was extensive. The waitress we has was very nice and friendly. However the drinks took quite a while to make it to the table. We ordered apps which arrived pretty quickly. The apps, even though they sounded very interesting were disappointing. The concept being spot on, but lacked in flow through. The same can be said for the rest of the meal. Service is extremely friendly and knowledgeable...just a little slow mainly due to the bar. We really really wanted to like this place more than we did. Might try again to toss out the chance of just a off night. But might be a while considering there are much better choices in the area at this price range.

Apparently the menu I tried just over a month ago is no more. I don't get why they closed for awhile and then changed everything. There is barely anything on the new menu that was on the former menu. And quite frankly, it doesn't look as good to me. So ya they still have a bunch of beer. But we want a fun pub with a great selection in beer AND food as in the wood fired pizzas and the burger selections, etc. Perhaps they are shooting for an elite crowd. Good luck with that.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. The interior is very impressive but my first my experience here was not good. The live performer was incredibly loud with a limited repertoire. When I complained, the hostess said "ya, it's always loud, but it's especially loud tonight." The waiter hung out at the end of the bar chatting with other patrons until we were halfway done with our meal. I had to ask the hostess passing by if I could get condiments for my burger. I guess when I make an extra effort to travel out of my way to have a good meal and spend what we spent, I expect good service. I will probably be spending my meal money elsewhere.

Excellent food, excellent menu. The waiter was friendly and informative. Kids meals were not only inexpensive but still plated beautifully and hearty. I'm hooked! Bummed my first selection on the menu they were out of but that's okay, I will "get" to come back!

Surprised and impressed! Great service - my server genuinely worked hard to make sure I enjoyed myself. Good beer selection - largely Mid-West craft selection. Good IPA's. Food was better than expected and also better than other "established" local restaurants. Steak was great! Lively & noisy with nice large TV's. I'm in town often and will definitely come back!

2/13/15 Came to a packed house and parking lot, Newly opened 80 something taps of local craft beers to American Craft standards and if you want some of that corporate swill, they got that as well. Was seated quickly , family of four. atmosphere that of an game day bar, resturant with a low roar of laughter and talk. Service was impeccible , no wait as we recieved food and drink in a timely fashion even for the crowd that was on hand. They had it down to a science and the evening was enjoyed. The menu is gourmet burgers, pizzas and some finger foods , the things that go well with draft craft. If your there for the TVs , there are few and are at the Bar and were showing movies, sports. The sweet potato fries are out of this world , burgers were cooked to perfection. All around I dont see this owner calling "Bar Rescue" , as they seem to have mastered heavy crowds. Really enjoyed and will definitely be trying them again!!!! They started cooking there own beer this week, so cant wait to enjoy . CHEERS!!

Went for some good "pub" food and was disappointed. Food was bland and over priced. Had the pulled pork flat bread and pork was tasteless. Menu was kind of Southern food meets Cajun food. Yuck. We froze because their "Big Ass" fans (yes, that's really the name of the fans, many warehouses and distribution centers use them) were running full blast. One of their cheap water glasses broke all over our table and the waitress picked up the broken pieces but never offered to wipe up the table or move us to another table. There seemed to be a manager of some sorts that looked kinda like David Spade who was wandering around without a mission. Took forever to get our shots and beers. Menu selections were icky for the most part. We're not going back. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Third time and my final visit to place. A testament to the phrase "triers aren't do-ers". Over promise seating times, mediocre and inconsistent food, no parking and over priced. Great look and location. Argumentative and non customer focused management. The gm we talked with was an arrogant dick. I give it 6 months before it tanks.

Sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by the staff. Overpriced menu. May be back but it may not be in business when I'm ready to try again next year. Hope they get their kinks worked out because it's a good idea. Just needs some strong leadership and it could turn around.

I should've checked Yelp and read the reviews first! This place was a complete disappointment. Don't waste your time here. We just moved back to the area and were excited to try it seeing that it was packed all of the time. Either people love bad service, or have no taste in food because there is no reason this place should be packed. It took us 3 hours to complete our dining experience! We made reservations and were seated promptly then our server came up just pouring with sweat and looking overworked. Our friends ordered wine and she went to run off without taking our order and luckily my husband caught her. She didn't know how to recommend wine to my friends who are new to wine, and they bought a bottle of what she recommended, but I don't think they liked it. I know wine well, and it was obvious she was not educated on the menu or wine list. She seemed so overloaded and stressed that it was stressful to us. We ordered appetizers and were disappointed. We were starving and ordered them to tide us over until our meal, and thank God we ordered an appetizer otherwise we would have starved. We ordered the biscuit and gravy sliders and the fried green tomatoes and shrimp. Now, I am used to real southern fried green tomatoes, and these were disgusting. They had no flavor, the shrimp had zero flavor and seemed pre-cooked straight from the store, they were not pickled. They were flavorless. The cucumber and corn relish was not a relish. There was jellied nastiness on my plate and some cold corn (straight from the freezer pack) and red bell pepper. Again, no flavor absolutely no seasoning at all. The dish came out cold. Fried green tomatoes should be served hot. There was no sauce, the plate was dry and dying for flavor. It needed a remoulade or something to go with it to add depth and flavor, and then it could have been considered "decent". The biscuit and gravy sliders are an insult to the name. The gravy was NOT sausage gravy. It was a pre-fab gravy mix with sausage bits thrown in. Again, served cold and no flavor. Absolutely a waste of money to try them. The main course: So at our table we had ordered the ribeye, smokehouse burger, chicken and waffles and mac n cheese. We received our entrees 1 hour plus into our stay there. The server apologized 100 times. The finally said that she was going to have the manager give us dessert or remove the charge for the appetizers or something. We were thinking ok, that's a good gesture. Good thing for them that we were enjoying the company of friends. The chicken and waffles and the burger came out first, cold. Then 5 minutes later the ribeye came out. Then another 5 minutes later the mac n cheese came out. As polite people we waited for the last person to get their food. By the time we all started eating everyone's food was cold. The chicken and waffles was a disappointment. The chicken was pounded thin and the thick looking chicken was 95% batter. The syrup was thick sludge and was not warmed before sending it out. It was obvious that it sat in the window waiting to come to our table for awhile. The burger was 'eh a burger. Nothing special. The ribeye, didn't have much flavor and was not medium rare through out. It was cooked very unevenly. The mashed potatoes were ok although they looked glazed over like they had been sitting forever and the asparagus were charred, the brussel sprouts lacked flavor. The mac n cheese wasn't anything special. We ordered dessert because she had offered it for free. I asked about the torte and finding that it was like "flourless cake" according to the server, I said no thanks I will have the peach cobbler. How can your screw up cobbler I thought. Well here comes the chocolate torte to the table. My husband said, that isn't what she ordered. The server wanted to take it back, but now three hours into our meal I didn't want to make our friends wait another 30 minutes for the right dessert. The torte was like a hunk of fudge. It was ridiculous to try to eat, so we took it home. Ready for the best part? So she did take the dessert off the receipt, but instead charged me for a Tito's on the rocks with tonic and lime and there was no one at our table drinking mixed drinks!! SHE CHARGED ME FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S DRINK!!! So in the end, I paid for that horrible dessert. Once we paid, she wanted the receipt back right away, and it was because she had charged us incorrectly. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

First of all, we went on a Friday night and had only a 20 minute wait. Not bad in my opinion for Friday night in NWA. I had the Fosters IPA which was a tasty pale ale. We had a group of five which didn't hinder our server, Allison, who did a wonderful job keeping things flowing for us. She was attentive and had a great attitude. We started with the Boucherie plate and the chargrilled oysters and both were delicious! For our main course I had the braised short ribs and my wife had the flank steak and both were excellent! The ribs were tender enough that a fork was sufficient. The flank steak had a great flavor and was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The other members if our party which included my son had the lamb burger, hot wings, and a kids cheese burger. We all shared bites and everything was great! Two in our group had cocktails and were bragging about how good they were as well. I believe they had the Moscow Mule and a Twisted Tusk. I would loved to have tried a dessert because they looked awesome but we were all to full. Maybe next time. The whole experience was very enjoyable and actually exceeded my expectations since they only had a three star rating. I've learned to not take some of the lower ratings too seriously as I'm sure some if these folks assume Chili's has the best burger in town. So, my recommendation is to get in and try it out. You won't be disappointed. I will be back for sure!

We came here very late on a Saturday night. The waitress had a woman training with her, and they took good care of us. They had a large knowledge of all of the beers on tap, and they are legion. I had two flights of samples, and we both had large hamburgers, could have probably gotten by with sharing one! It was all very good, and cannot wait to go back. Will probably bring dad here on fathers day!

The new menu looks great, but the actual food was an unfortunate disappointment. We were really looking for this to be our new lunch spot, but at this point i don't think we will be back.

The food was terrible and overpriced. We love the atmosphere, the drink selection and the service. But the food just ruined the whole experience. One dish was a salad with chicken - the chicken had a slimy, fishy taste to it. The other dish was shrimp & grits which tasted like frozen fish barely heated with zero flavor. Again I love the drinks and atmosphere so I hope they can get it together.

My first time at Foster's Pint & Ale was this past weekend. Went in to try to drink one of every beer on tap. There are over 80. Pretty incredible. While I was there, they brought out free apps. They were working on adding new and better things. The apps were pretty great. The staff and management team where friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and drink list. If you tried Foster's Pint & Ale since the grand opening, please swing by and give them another try!

I had the pork and beans and it was phenomenal. My daughter had the bacon Mac and cheese which was also excellent. The kitchen service was slower than average but not terribly so. Worth the wait, IMHO. 82 beers on tap, killer Moscow mules, and tasty food? We're coming back.

The bartenders take way too long. The food took way too long and was under cooked. The atmosphere was good except the fact the four tvs the have os had racing, soccer, NCIS LA and the SEC network that kept showing the schools logos. With playoffs starting there's always a game on. Get some faster bartenders cause it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a draft beer.

3 stars because it's an averaging of food (2 stars) and brews (4 stars). Food: salt, salt, and more salt. Portion control is out of control, way too large. Lamb burger was overcooked and dry (ordered medium means it's still got a substantial pink to it), shepherd's pie was as nondescript as it gets. Beers: If they don't have a style you will like, then you don't like beer. Bonus, many of the brews are local (AR-MO-OK-KS). May or may not come back; the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night at 10:00.

It is a nice restaurant, great people. Good selection of craft beers. Some of the in house brews are not very good. The food is hit and miss. Some of the dishes are very good and some are overly modified from the original making them weird. You will not find simple dishes. It is all eclectic. Sometimes there are preparation issues. Nobody likes soggy fries!

Nice contemporary vibe. Outstanding beer selection, including a lot of local brews. The wait staff was good with suggestions on the food and drinks and overall very attentive. The food was sort of a mixed bag. 3 of 5 of my group loved the food. Here were the highs and lows. Highs: fish and chips, and the shrimp. Collard greens, and the cheesy grits apparently stole the show. Lows: both the lamb burger and traditional burger we ordered were over cooked and the cake on the strawberry short cake dessert was described as stale, heavy or frozen tasting. The staff did all they could to make us happy and I am sure we will visit again. Overall good experience.

Long on flash and hippiness but lacking in execution. Still new enough that needs some maturity and think it has potential for really good to great. Great space, decor and atmosphere with high end trendy and subtle elegance. Wait for food was unacceptable. Bar was hopping and could be best happy hour scene in area once it's more settled. Once food arrived it was good but not worth 45-min wait. Will try again with fingers crossed to upgrade rating - it's so cool I want it to be awesome.

My wife and I have been here twice. The food isnt bad. The beer and cocktail choices are good. But, the service is awful. A few of our friends seem to have had similar experiences. We definitely won't be going back anytime soon.

Third visit. After two visits with abysmal service, we had a good experience. We came on Wednesday and there are a lot of empty tables which probably helps. Food was ok, not bad and not stellar. Drinks are the best part.

posted a review on Foster's web site but didn't hear anything. 5pm on a Sat. night and 2 menu items were out. Waited for them to fix problems and not worth the wait. You might fool a couple of hipsters but not any people truly interested in a good restaurant. Lot of time and money going to waste.

Great draft beer selection with a variety of burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches. Vibe was more upscale than I anticipated, but prices were very reasonable. My friend and I went on opening night to check it out. I very much expected a divey pizza and beer place and was very surprised that this venu was going for a much more professional upscale vibe. This is not Mellow Mushroom but is more of a Bonefish vibe. We split 2 flights to try as many beers as possible. There are some very high end beers on tap (high ABV too) - some of the higher end pints are nearly $10. We were both a fan of "Lawyers, Cash, & Guns" though I'm not sure they have it anymore. Though I fully anticipated having a pizza, our waitress said the chef wants to be known for her burgers, not the pizza - so we opted to try 2 different burgers: one was a breakfast burger and the other was a more traditional burger on a pretzel bun. THE BREAKFAST BURGER was the bomb! Easily the better burger of the two. There were a few hiccups on opening night (to be expected), so I won't judge too harshly. There were no lights in the dining area - only at the bar. So there wasn't even enough light to take a decent pic of the food. Our waitress was very young and didn't even know we could order a flight - so we asked her to check and sure enough, we were able to order flights. I've heard other horror stories about the inexperienced wait staff, but our waitress was very personable and polite - so no complaints there. Will definitely be back to try more beers and maybe even a pizza.

I' d like to give this a higher rating, but here are the draw backs.....its a bit pricey for the area, simmer down Fosters, this isn't a major City. Relax. Additionally, get some bartenders that SMILE and have fun, for God sake. We have visited several times, always a fun group, and your bartenders are so Debbie Downer! Good service is encompassed with a good attitude, and your bartenders are lacking in that area, really brings down the mood. Now for some good news, the food is pretty good. I've only had a few things, but they were flavorful and inventive. Props on the menu, fresh, creative stuff. Keep it up, just bring the prices down a smidge and paint some smiles on your staff.

I have attempted to come to this place 3 to 4 times and they never seem to be open. My last attempt was on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in March to hang out on the patio. I walked in a requested a table as the host replied with sorry we are not open until 4. It's Saturday! I want to love this but they are not making it easy for me to use my time to hang out there.

Burgers were great! Perfect gastro pub - 82 beers, for that alone you must try it. Good for sports.
