We ordered delivery from here it was extremely quick and the food was excellent. We ordered the beef & broccoli, pork fried rice, egg flower soup & spicy sesame chicken. All of which was fresh and delicious. It didn't taste bland, old and the texture wasn't gross and dry.

I like this place for the service and Kung pow. The staff is always friendly and the lunch specials are full of a good variety and very filling. I always opt for the Kung pow chicken lunch special. Comes with soup, fried rice, BBQ pork, egg rolls and of course, the Kung pow chicken. Ask for it spicy and it will be. The food always comes out hot and in a timely manner.

We've been going here for years, but tonight I ordered the A10 and the only thing editable was the egg roll. I swear the breaded chicken was hard as rocks not worth a broken tooth you guys can do better then this!!! Right?

The first time I ordered the food was ok. The lady taking the order was impatient and the gentleman delivering could have cared less. I was worried about ordering because of prior reviews but the food was ok just overpriced. Also I wanted the crab rangoons but they delivered just cream cheese won tons. :( The second time I ordered the food was bland and gross. Will never order from there again. No seasoning. No sear of any kind on the chicken and the fried rice was just white rice mixed with soy sauce. Really?? I'm not that stupid folks.... This ones a no brainer - never again.

Was craving me some Peking Wok alllllll day long the other day. So straight after work I drug my honey and my buddy Clayton over to the Wok with me. Mercy! That egg flower soup that comes with the combo meals is a work of art. I don't even like egg flower soup, but they work some kinda mojo on that stuff at Peking Wok. I also like that they make a respectable egg roll too. What I crave though, is their mongolian beef. This last time it wasn't quite as good as usual, but it was still very tasty. My honey was loving his teriyaki chicken. Peking Wok is definitely my go to spot for Chinese comfort food in town.

I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. My buddy the Orange Chicken. Both were burnt and nasty tasting! It was fast but gross!!! This place is dirty and run down. Please don't waste your money!

We ordered orange chicken, beef & broccoli, pork Lao Mein, and General Tso's chicken for take-out. Everything tasted very good. Plenty of food for the price. Very pleased.

I ordered in Sunday afternoon. Delivery was rather slow. Took an hour and twenty minutes. I had the orange chicken. It wasn't very good. Hardly had any sauce on it. It's like they fry up a buck of bred fed chicken and then out your sauce of choice on it ie. sweet and sour, orange, sesame Overall kind of boring.

We ordered delivery. It was the worste Chinese food I have ever eaten. We had sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian chicken, schezuan chicken and lemon chicken. Even the fried rice was dry and almost crunchy. Waste of 50 bucks.

We found a new favorite! If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Chinese (not just Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, or Sesame Chicken---like every other Alaskan who has no taste) then this is the place. We had the Hunan Beef & Shrimp Mooshu & it was amazing....I literally was so full but could not stop eating it because it was soooo good! Also, if you live in the area, their delivery is wicked fast---we ordered & seriously got it like 25 minutes later! We will DEF be ordering from here again! (Side note: To the girl who complained that her Chow Mein noodles were crunchy...that is how it's supposed to be!!! Google it before you go blasting a bad review, all because you don't know what you're talking about!)

Super good fast and consistent!!!! This place is great. A bit over priced but the portions are big so it works out! We usually get our food to go, the interior isnt always the cleanest and its small and the tables are always wobbely. Love the food 5 stars for taste and always speedy delivery or ready for pick up

Always good and fast! I dislike how we can no longer swap out items on the dinner menu, we don't eat certain foods so it's a bit of a headache. We can also tell when they have a new cook, things are undercooked or burnt.

The worst chinese food I have ever had. I wish I cpuld give it zero stars. Way too much ginger is used in the wonton soup. Got the crab wontons as an app. It tasted like the oil had never been changed. The fried rice was incredibly dry, the mongolian beef was disgusting, and the prices are outrageous. We will never eat there again. Ever.

Food very greasy. The combo I ordered was heavily battered and fried, sauce tasted ok. But you could barely find the chicken in so much batter and grease. Won't be going back.

We went to dinner there last night. The service was great. The young lady that served us was at the table at all the right times. I had Mongolian beef and it was great. Just the right amount of fresh onions and after she turned my order in I could hear the cook begin to cook it. No sitting in a steam table pan for this place. We both enjoyed our meals greatly. The only drawback was the price of a beer or a glass of wine. Domestic beer was $6.75 a bottle or $7.50 for a glass of cheap wine. But the food is great.

This is our go-to place for Chinese delivery. The food is always fresh and good... and the service is very fast! We order from here once a month or so and are always happy. Plus the staff is friendly!

If I could give them negative points I totally would. DISGUSTING. We ordered mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls and chow mein. First complaint - our chow mein was hard like crackers. When I called to complain they said that it was chow mein. No, chow mein is noodles. The food wasn't completely flavorless, because the flavors were DISGUSTING. It was an absolute waste of money. Do not, I repeat, do not eat here.

I moved to Anchorage 3 years ago. I missed my favorite Chinese restaurant until I found this little gem. Situated at the end of a strip mall at Dimond and Jewel Lake Road, I really didn't initally expect much. Boy was I wrong. The staff is fast and friendly. I have never had better Orange Chicken, flavorful yet with a little kick! If you want something sweet and tasty yet not as spicy, you will have to try the Lemon Chicken. Just be sure and leave enough for me or I'll have to delete this posting.... Great for carry out or if you like a typical Chinese family restaurant you will love it for dine in.

Pretty good better than jewel lake pizza and tea garden. Try the spicy seafood noodle soup if you like that kind of thing!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
