DO NOT EAT HERE! Horrible service! We ordered food to be delivered and an hour and a half later we called to check on our order, it wasn't ready, they said it would be another 20 minutes. The worker on the phone was rude, 2 hour wait for Chinese food, forget it!

We haven't ordered from here in a long time and now I remember why. I ordered Mongolian beef with sweet and sour pork and we also ordered shrimp with lobster sauce. First, it said online that it would be 45-60 minutes, it was an hour and twenty minutes. My friend ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce with extra shrimp, she said the shrimp doesn't even taste like shrimp. My sweet and sour pork, the breading was raw on about half of it so it wasn't even cooked all the way and I had to throw it out . We tried to call them and they won't even answer the phone. If you want Chinese food this bad, just go through your trash cans around your apartments, I'm sure somebody has thrown it away.

I order from China Garden EVERY TIME I have a hankerin' for Chinese food, and I have had the cravings more often since I started ordering from them! The mandarin pork is delicious. Sweet and salty, without being too much of either. General Tso's chicken is my standby and they do a tasty version of it! Crab rangoons are delicious little pillows, rather than crunchy wonton style and I highly recommend them. Delivery can sometimes take an hour or more but, c'mon..they deliver! A nice alternative to pizza or fast food on nights you don't feel like cooking.

Hey yelp we need the ability to give negative stars...You know what's worse than bad chinese food? Not a damn thing and this place does it well. Oh my god the aftertaste is like sour fkkn milk camping out at the back of your throat. I didn't expect great food but can a sista get a crispy egg roll at least? No! It was mushy like someone had pre-chewed the filling. I don't want to be fed like a damn penguin! The food did come way faster than expected (oh joy!) and the white rice didn't suck. But what kind of chinese takeout forgets the fortune cookie? If they had included one it would've said "you will pay good money for crap food that will pay you back later". This shit wasn't even mediocre. Chew-toy chicken and that szechuan sauce was a CRIME! Don't do it...I gotta go brush my entire mouth...

I can't even give this restaurant one star! But it won't let me so I have to give it one but that's only because you can order online It's the worst food I've ever eaten! Please don't order from there. It's very very expensive and made from old mixed vegetables like you get from the frozen food isle! It was horrible horrible horrible!!!!

Don't even bother coming here when they're busy. Better yet, don't even come here at all. The food is below mediocre, and the service is terrible. How the hell are you going to have one waitress on the floor in the middle of the night, when you know for a fact that all of the downtown bar hoppers are going to be hungry. I think the only reason why this place gets any business is because they are open late.

I haven't eaten my food. Instead, I have been waiting for 2.5 hours for it to get here when they said it'd take 40 minutes. Maybe one day I'll bother to talk about how the food tasted, if it ever arrives. I'm def calling and demanding my money back. (We talked to these people like 3 times over the course of the (what ended up closer to 3 hour wait) so I know they didn't forget about us. We ended up calling and telling them not to even bother bringing the food, we were so hungry that we just heated up leftovers instead. Apparently, when my roommate called the lady was having what seemed like a panic attack telling him how busy she was (before he even spoke a word to her) So, I'm thinking that they just don't know what they're doing unless it's slow.

Food was cold, overpriced, and not cooked all the way through.

The food is average. Everything tends to be either a little too dry or a little too mushy. Not bad, mind you, just average. Probably not fresh. These types of complaints are common when the food has sat around too long.

I have given this place a couple of different opportunities and each time, it only seems to get worse. The pros are that they are open almost all night long AND they have an online order menu. The cons... well... it takes way too long for the food to actually arrive and when it does everything is way below standard. Food that should be crispy is always sopping wet from suffocating in styrofoam box for 2 hours. The rice is always overcooked to an almost porridge-like consistency. The vegetables are always old and there is this odor that sort of creeps around the fridge, even long after the leftovers have "left the building". The chicken and pork in the Kung Pao and Sweet and Sour Pork was more of a battered gristle and sinew than actual meat, which I don't think I need to explain to you, dear reader, is DISGUSTING! Their egg rolls aren't very good, either. The filling seems to have no veg... no cabbage, no flavor. Just a smeary, mealy chicken paste that would probably give people prone to texture issues nightmares for a month. The only thing that is consistently edible and enjoyable from China Garden are the crab rangoon/crab wontons. It's kind of hard to mess up crab and cream cheese in a fried wonton skin, though. The prices on most items are also awfully steep for what we end up getting. The online service states orders are typically delivered in 40-50 minutes. I placed our order at 8:54PM (I still have the time-stamped confirmation email..), and the fella didn't get here until 10:35PM. Our delivery from last night is the last time we will ever bother to order from this place. If you want good chinese food, do yourself a favor and just make your own at home. Hell, you can't do much worse than just grabbing one of those PF Chang entree bags from the freezer section at Fred Meyer. Save yourself the indigestion and eat somewhere else.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
