I like this place for breakfast, good selection of bagels and breakfast plates, I have been coming here for a decade and its always been great and the staff is very friendly.

I came here around 9 am on a weekday morning and it was absolutely empty. They have a similar set up to ak bagel restaurant: either to go or sit down restaurant style. I thought it was cafe style (I didn't see a seat yourself sign) so I order at the counter and sat down... Anyways, they labels might not match the bagels in the bin so be sure to ask. The young lady at the front was nice and energetic, but a little robotic. I got an Apple bagel with their HARV cream cheese, honey almond raisins vanilla, and an iced americano. They didn't have iced coffee, not sure if they had regular drip. The bagel with cream cheese and the americano were both good, very standard! Nothing fancy, nothing really to bring me back... The place is a bit small, but it's closer for me than ak bagel restaurant, but has a smaller selection of bagels. They also have a more extensive breakfast and lunch menu, but i over heard her say they were not serving breakfast from the menu bc their chef was out that day... That's not the best way to run a business, but they didn't have too much of a demand anyways.

My husband and I stumbled on this place walking somewhere, it's super cute and cozy. Has a side bar and Bagel display w 2 entrances. The wait staff didn't drop a dime, they were all super focused and on the go. I ordered the chicken salad sandwiches and my husband swears by the chorizo con huevos. He said it's not as good as home, but close to it. My sandwich hit the spot and filled me up. They gave us plenty of time to decide, after we ordered we waited maybe 5 to 10 mins before we got our meal. Overall I liked it. We will come back.

Very friendly staff. I explained it was my first time there. They got me a table and didn't bother me or rush me to order. The food was very tasty and fresh.

First time here and I loved it. The staff was friendly and the food was so yummy!!! I love their bagel chips and will definitely be back! They are priced perfectly for the quality and food! Love that they're local too!

Here's a tip for the owners/management: don't argue in front of customers. If a fellow server suggests something to you don't be a witch and yell at him in front of other customers. Who the hell cares if you're an owner? After seeing that this morning I will NEVER EVER go back. Which is sad because I do like their bagels. The poor guy was trying to save someone a $1.

Had another great breakfast and the server, Jasmine, was delightful. The Alaskan Salmon Lox sandwich was delicious, and the bagel fresh and tender.

I had a very sweet server named jasmine, she was really on top of her game, as well as being real pretty. My bagel was awesome , I would recommend the blueberry bagel, but maybe not the blueberry cream cheese

I just happened to catch sight of this little bagel shop on my way to lunch nearby and decided to try Bagel Factory and Cafe since it's closer. I sat at the bar area near the register. I received immediate and friendly service from the lovely Chongsun. I ordered the Turkey Avocado Swiss melt and it was delicious! They didn't skimp on the turkey or avocado, everything looked and tasted fresh, and it was toasted to perfection. They provided a generous portion so I was filled up by the end of the meal (though I tend to be a light eater). I also ordered some blended mocha drink and it was super satisfying and a great mid-day energy boost. I will definitely return! Convenient location since I work close by, and cozy cute country-cafe atmosphere. Prices are a little more than I'd like but I'd say it was worth it since I had a yummy, filling lunch.

Slow Service. Mediocre Food. Waitstaff isn't rude but not necessarily pleasant either. Waited over 15 min for a bagel and a bowl of soup when the restaurant was empty, bagel was dry and not even enough cream cheese to cover both slices. The soup was decent. Won't be returning.

New owners have refreshed the menu and (I think) brought in new staff. I stopped by in the afternoon to meet clients and grab a coffee - which was excellent! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, very casual. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the breakfasts.

Getting a bakers dozen from the Bagel Factory has always been a pastime of my family. Everything has always been really fresh, and they hardly ever run out of variety. Although I should point out that I've never done a sit-down-and-eat at this place, they have always had consistently delicious bagels, with a rotating seasonal variety.

This is the best bagel ever!! Mocha is good, chicken, walnut and grape salad is soooo good...:-p But they close at 3pm.

Poor service and they are always out of bagels. Don't bother ordering in advance - I did that and when I got there to pick up the order they hadn't pulled it and didn't have the bagels to fill it. Prices have skyrocketed - was $6.50 for a bakers' dozen a couple of years ago, now it's $9.00. The new owner does not speak any English which makes it difficult for customers to express concerns and for her to explain, or even to apologize.

Love these bagels! I've been coming here for years. I get occasionally disappointed with the lack of consistency, at times (getting a tiny little ring of a bagel can be annoying) but for the most part, their bagels are tasty, huge, fluffy and drool-worthy. Prices have gone up considerably, but I still rather pay $8 for a dozen than get some gross bagels at the store or one of the other bagel joints in town. Service is hit-or-miss (generally nothing to write home about, but not overly unpleasant). I do like how they have seasonal bagels. I do wish that the jalapeno bagels had more than just a sprinkling of peppery bits.

For those bagel lovers living in Anchorage, we are very limited on places to go and get good fresh bagels. This bagel hot spot has changed hands a couple of time. In the past I would have rated this 5, but the quality control has really suffered recently. This place does have lots of seating and the staff is generally friendly. The owners seem to bark out at the staff from time to time, which makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere!

If you like eggs benedict, then you should definately try the Bagel Benedict that the Bagel Factory offers! The Bagel Benedict is served with house potatoes - it makes a filling meal but it is definately delicious! Instead of an english muffin, your meal is on a bagel! I also enjoy their bagels with cream cheese although I feel that a toasted blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese is expensive when just buying one blueberry bagel is 70 cents. That is some expensive cream cheease! The waitstaff on the main floor (main servers) have always been friendly (behind the counter the other staff looks grumpy) and attentive. Always a good experience!

Loved the coffee. The food is fairly good. Everything is clean and cozy in the dining area. On the down side the service was slow with a long wait for the food especially.

These were the best Bagels I ever had in my entire life (although I've never had them in New York City or Montreal)! I loved the jalapeno and cheese bagels and I'm sure that's what contributed to my weight gain while I lived here. I love that it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
