Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. The special was taco salad so I got the chicken. Lettuce was watery and shredded chicken was watery like it came from a can. Almost to tomatoes and some shredded cheese. It was supposed to come with chips and salsa, so I asked right before our food came out and the young male waiter said " I've been meaning to bring it out, but I have been busy. ". What? Salsa from a jar and chips were not chips. Just soft puffed tastless pieces of tortilla. Hardly saw him leave the kitchen area and computer. Bad atmosphere. No personality in any of the workers there. Weird experience.

Good sized portions, fairly quick service, good food. Waitress was great. For a small town it's worth the price.

Food was good, service was friendly. Had received a tip from a local. We enjoyed our meal. Taco salad was fresh, chimichanga from the alacarte menu was a perfect size for a light supper.

We were in Worland on errands, decided to stop in based on reviews. Maybe we are just spoiled from our local Mexican restaurant, but we were thoroughly unimpressed. My fiancée ordered enchiladas and a chicken burrito, and when the burrito came - it was literally just chicken rolled in a tortilla (that's IT- plain chicken), topped with unmelted shredded cheese. The cheese did not proceed to melt, either, as the burrito was lukewarm at best. I was so shocked I had to take a picture! I had the smothered super taco, which- though it was ok- tasted like everything came out of a bag or a box. Fiancée said the same...nothing tasted fresh. Usually at other restaurants, they bring you chips/salsa or at least ask if you'd like some. Not here. I had to wait until our waitress came around again (hadn't stopped by once since we ordered), and ask. The "bean dip" is basically retried beans from a can, and though the puffy chips are neat...they don't taste very good. We love Mexican food, but the flavors were just...meh. I wouldn't go back, and if I lived in Worland I would drive elsewhere to eat Mexican.

Tried the enchilada dish and was void of flavor. Might have been an off day. Puffy chips and salsa was decent. Tried this place a second time. Had the Carne Asada plate and it supplied the right amount of flavor. Service is friendly with a smile. Restaurant is kept clean and decor is lively.

We live in Worland and eat at Ranchito a lot .Good food ,reasonable, and Rosa is a super waitress. Try the bean dip with morning chili, superDan for breakfast, smothered tacos are great, hamburgers are the best in town!

Stopped in for breakfast with my family the morning after Thanksgiving, 2013. Waitress was extremely rude from the get go. This ruined our entire dining experience. Because of this, We will never return to this restaurant again.

We didn't expect much from a restaurant in a small town, but Ranchito stood out. It was still open for lunch at 4pm, when other restaurants are closed from 2:30-5pm. The chips are unique, more like mini triangles of crunchy fried dough. Service was prompt, and very accommodating. We had the taco salad and fajitas.

Yum, yum, yum!!! Coming from Texas it is hard to find Mexican food that compares but man, Ranchito's is awesome!! Rose our waitress was super nice and fun. And then our car battery was end and one of the ladies inside boosted us off. Thank you Victoria!

Historically one of the best restaurants in Worland. Authentic homemade tortillas, salsa, chips, etc. Ask for the morning chili if you like hot salsa. Very reasonable and delicious food, however the service will vary from great to weird, but they are drawing from a small agricultural town in Wyoming. This is the go to Mexican restaurant in Glenwood and we eat there multiple times every time we go back

Every time my family comes through Worland we eat here. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. Our party had smothered dan's, breakfast burrito, and pancakes. They were all yummy and large portions! Why not five stars? The dinning room is loud. There is nothing to break up the noise so sounds travel far and echo in the ceiling. There was only two other parties when we ate but the noise was distracting. The waitress's are hit and miss. Sometimes I get a very friendly older lady who would bend over backwards to get us everything and sometimes I get a snotty young lady who expects me to read her mind for what sides come with a meal (not really listed on menu). Today our waitress had to come back a few times to our table to bring things she forgot (coffee creamer, ketchup, more coffee, a side dish, salsa, the list goes on) and I felt like we were putting her out by asking for the things we needed. But all in all, if you are in Worland and craving "Mexican" (Tex-Mex) give them a shot and tell me what you think!
