Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

My husband and I have been here twice and they are delicious! The food is actually great Mexican food and it has so much flavor!

I'm not sure even why I'm giving this place even 2 stars. I'm never one to send things back, but getting the wrong meal is always disappointing. I was just too hungry to complain. But what's up with all the extra $$ for tortillas, chips and salsa was $4.50! Lesson learned. Stay away till they get a real Mexican cook.

Meh, musket of the road. The better Mexican place is about a half mile up the road. LA Familia Prado. Is easy better

there arent many choices in torrington but steer clear of this place - total ripoff and sour staff. charged us $1 for salsa with an $11 combo plate - they got my order totally wrong and poured cheese over everything ( this after explaining to the waitress no less than 6x when ordering NO CHEESE) they refused to take it back and charged me for the entree. poor customer service and the cook has a terrible attitude. lesson learned - - EAT IN CHEYENNE

The food was so salty that I couldn't finish the meal. Beans, beef taco and enchilada were nearly inedible because of salt. Server was good, meal came quickly but the food.....Did I mention salt?

Delish! Salsa-amazing! Tacos with corn tortillas - incredible! A wonderful surprise after a long ride. We also had quesadillas, taco salad and smothered burrito. Service was very good. They have fresh made Popsicles - we were too full to have dessert - next time !

Our enchiladas were dry with hardly any beef in one of the orders. Lots of chicken in the other but no sauce, however the coffee was awful. Served in pottery cups there was grease on top of the coffee and little flecks of red floating on top after stirring the cream. I would not go back which is too bad as it was clean and nicely decorated

This place was kind of a joke. The waitress got my order wrong. Three of us ate there each ordering an entree and chips & salsa... The bill was $45.00!!! The chips and salsa were great, but not free like most places. While the chips and salsa aren't like most tortilla chips, the other mexican place down the road serves the same amazing chips and salsa for free! The place was over priced and not that great!

Tasty and authentic. Be sure to try their chips and salsa. The chips have a similar texture to sopapillas. We'd definitely stop here again!
