In a town where it is difficult to find a sit-down restaurant open for dinner on a weeknight, I am SO thankful for Lil Wrangler. This is a no-frills, family-style restaurant that is open 6 nights a week and serves food at reasonable prices. The dinner menu is limited, but filled with hearty, stick-to-your-ribs grub like Liver and Onions, Meatloaf, and Hand-Cut Homemade Fries. The decor is secondary to the hot food served fast with a smile, but I would like to note that they recently did some updating to the dining areas. I had a very pleasant experience for dinner recently, and I will be returning in the near future. It doesn't look like much from the road, but if you want straight-forward american food that is delivered in heaping portions, this place is for you.

The food was okay. The prior reviews had given us higher hopes and it wasn't all that great. The waitress was nice. You can tell the place has been around awhile. There was some dust sitting around. We were sat close to the kitchen and the music was blaring, thankfully we liked what was on. The salad bar had no lights on it, so it was hard to see and the selection was not very good. The food was okay. My husband got the chicken fried steak and it looked like some ground beef smashed with some flour mix and then fried. Gravy on it was alright and the mashed potatoes weren't half bad. I got the chicken tenders and thankfully they were good, but the french fries were really greasy and flavorless. We know and understand that it can be harder to get decent food products in smaller towns, but this wasn't very good for even a small town. We really had high expectations for a small family owned restaurant, but we would not go back and not recommend it to anyone else.

Good sandwiches, soup, and a nice selection on the small salad bar. Had a nice lunch with friendly service.

Great food and nice waitress, price is very reasonable for amount of food you get. Will defiantly stop in again

I went on a Tuesday night and the first few items I asked for were not were available. I settled on a BLT with no T with fries which was pretty good. The waitress was really nice but the owner (I'm assuming) came over to ring me up was less than friendly.

Great service, fast and good food, country style everything and all made to order. No complaints, good food....

Nice little diner. The food was great. I had the French Dip with Sweet Potato fries, both where very good. I would highly recommend those Sweet Potato fries! My husband had the Fried Chicken and it was fresh and delicious. The salad bar is little, but has the basics. The waitress was friendly and gave great recommendation.

Above average diner food, recommend French dip and sweet potato fries.

Maybe it was just the night but we entered to a smoke-from-the-grill filled restaurant and the server was very friendly but the food was very average, if that. The salad bar was a joke. The Stone's Throw which is next door to the golf course was a 100 percent better experience all around.

Fried chicken was the best I ever had! Would recommend to anyone traveling through.

A just stop for a small town. I had the soup and salad bar. Not as many options as a larger place, but good choices to get a nice salad. The strawberry rhubarb crisp is fantastic-5 star desert. It's not too tart, it is just right. If I am back through I will stop here again!

Tasty breakfast in a place full of locals. It seems to be one of the only places open for breakfast on a Sunday in Thermopolis. Good, hot coffee in gigantic mugs, friendly service. The place is fairly small so there might be a wait. We heard from someone at the local bookstore/espresso bar that the huevos rancheros are very good but we had pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Con: you have to walk through the smoking section to get to the restroom.

Much nicer than it looks from the outside. Very good breakfast stop. Giant coffee cups.
