Very good place for a quick stop. Drinks are not expensive and the service is very good and helpful. Just stop for a drink and you will not regret.

Cool place! All I did was walk inside and look around, but I'll definitely be back for a drink some other time! I did expect it to have more of a divey feel (which would have been cool) but it was actually pretty nice and renovated inside. Maybe dimming the lights a little would be better. :)

There is not a lot to do in Sheridan, but we stayed for one night on a long road trip through WY. This place was super fun with really good drinks and service. Great ambiance with all the animals on the walls!

Not a friendly western bar. Overpriced beers, $3.25 for a Coors light. Bar tenders not friendly in the least bit. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, MONEY AND TIME WILL BE BETTER SPENT.

What a fantastic surprise! We went in for a drink while at a conference in Sheridan. Found one of the oldest bars in the US! Got lucky to meet and hang out with the owner, Monty. What an amazing and fun time!!! Highly recommend this place! Go have a drink and enjoy the best Sheridan has to offer!

Great little pit stop for us on our way west towards Yellowstone. A cool little local bar, service is good, drinks are cheap. Dead animals everywhere and rodeo pictures cover the wall :P very- appropriate.

One of the cleaner bars, especially now that it isn't smoking anymore (finally caught on with the rest of the country...). I like the fact that they have Blue Moon on tap, as many places around this town do not have much good beer on tap, but none of these bartenders need anything special to work at these bars... You don't serve Blue Moon without an Orange slice, and you sure as hell do not squeeze a quarter slice then drop it in my drink after I ask for a slice. First, you look at me like I'm crazy for requesting you properly serve Blue Moon, then you contaminate my drink with unsanitary hands. This may be ok for Sheridan... but this isn't okay anywhere else. I'm glad there's places to sit (some tables) and one pool table, but generally, this place is very small.. basically like a hallway. Good luck getting through the drunk crowd on busy nights. The women's bathroom is small, cramped and always dirty looking. But, this is one of the nicer, more comfortable dive bars in town.

Just got back from Sheridan, best thing is nothing much has changed. The Mint still remains one of America's finest watering holes. Millionaires and laborers drinking side by side. This is the America I love.

Walking down the street after dinner at Olivers and looked in the window at this place and gave up going home because we had to go in! There are tons of animal hanging from the wall and on display. The walls are branded with all the local cattle prods. The bartender (super sweet) gave us a brochure of the bar that identified all the animals on the wall, provided the history of the 100 year old bar, and talked about past bar characters. I don't know why we singled us out for this but maybe it was the same reason 6 people said to us (three wearing cowboy hats, all denim, and big belt buckles) "so you girls must not be from around here" (with accent). I also think my wearing of a cardigan and my friend wearing trademark New York all black might have been a dead give away. We just enjoyed a drink and some great company and the best experience of Wyoming we could have hoped for. We were saddened to leave but just too tired after all the travel and had a big meeting the next day. Everyone was so extremely pleasant to us noticeable outsiders and we had a blast! Awesome bar.

I love the Mint Bar. I lived in Sheridan for a couple months about a year ago, & the Mint is definitely one of the places I frequented. On a cross-country road trip through that way just this winter, I even changed my plans & stayed a night in Sheridan just so I could get my mint on ;)
