Fantastic breakfast. Both of us had the chicken fried steak with eggs, hash browns, and toast. The chicken fried steak is served with a white gravy with sausage mixed in. The entire dish was fantastic. We also tried the cinnamon roll French toast which was equally impressive. We couldn't finish all of the food because the portions were so big, but glad we ordered it to try a little of everything. Sit at the bar and talk to the locals as you eat breakfast. They open at 6 and close at 2.

Get there share a cinnamon roll, homemade and off the hook! Pancakes as big as the Big Horns! Great staff lots of locals so you know that you are in the right place!

This place would NEVER pass a health inspection BUT it was possible the best Smothered Breakfast Burrito I have ever had. Great food! Just don't watch the cook prepare your meal

This is a great place. Breakfast was outstanding! Everybody was outgoing and friendly. Owner does all the cooking and she does a great job. If you are ever in the area this is definitely the place to eat if you want good home cooked food!

As others have said, the place looks like a dive inside and out, but the food is GREAT!! We went for breakfast. You have to try the cinnamon roll French toast. It is out of this world. I totally was not expecting something so outstanding from this little hole in the wall cafe. My husband had an omelet and it very good too. The waitress was very attentive with refilling coffee and checking on what we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to come when we're in town next time.

Best breakfast I've had in a looooong time. Like the others said, it's a tiny place with a long counter that wraps around the kitchen and a few tables in the back. Mom cooks, daughter and another fun waitress in the front. Country music playing. Classic cheese and onion omelette was stupendous...she grilled the onions with lots of gooey cheese. Perfectly grilled hash browns. And gluten free toast! We were just passing through Sheridan but I wish we could have stayed for lunch because the talk around the counter was the chicken fried steak and burgers were fabulous! Real home cooking.

By far the best breakfast in town! Nothing is coming out of that kitchen premade from a can or frozen. It's a hole in wall for sure but lots of antique pieces keep it interesting. Great food and service!

As others said, looks like a dive, but has some real local charm. We loved hearing the conversations around us. It was clear this place is full of regulars, which is a great sign. The food was good. Even though we stopped around lunch time, we ordered breakfast and didn't regret it. The decor even gives you a little lesson in the history of Sheridan.

Great home cooked breakfast! I was hesitant to try this place based on the other reviews that commented on restaurant smoking... But I'm glad I went b/c the food & service was great & it was NOT at all smokey! I will definitely stop in again!

Best chicken fried steak in Wyoming! Scratch made sausage gravy and CFS cooked on flat top. Old school diner. Great staff

It looks like a shack from the outside. However, Very good breakfast. I had the cinnamon roll French toast, bacon, and eggs! Good service and friendly locals!

Looks like a dive from the outside and kind of inside as well but the food was good and the service was great. They really made you feel welcome and were prompt with refills and to check that everything was in order.

Taste of Sheridan. Little hole-in-the-wall diner has a hearty, western breakfast. Staff is friendly and efficient. The locals gather here in the early morning and add a true Wyoming flair. I would return.

Great local place breakfast and lunch.. Try the breakfast burrito. Smoking is allowed inside and is a small place. So if u dont like smoke not the place for u.

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant in Sheridan. The smell of bacon, strong coffee, and eggs permeate the air. A small hole in the wall with an old fashioned counter and several tables in back. The food is good, greasy, and plentiful, just like breakfast should be. The only reason I don't give it 4 stars is because Along with all of the smells I remember from my childhood favorite breakfast restaurant, is one more smell from my childhood restaurant experiences...smoke. The smoke is usually pretty thick in the front by the counter, but not as bad in back by the tables.
