Nothing much, they're open 25 hours a day and the service is always slow and careless. Food is nothing extraordinary but I do come here often just for the chicken fried steak.

Do NOT waste your money or time in this place! The Fried chicken was just horrible, I guess if you order a burger you can't go wrong! But I did have a side salad and it was just ok. Who can mess up a salad right? The waitress was nice and young so I guess experience will make her better. So do yourself a favor and keep driving!

Pulled in here for bite on way to South Dakota before checking reviews. Thought name 'country kitchen' would offer good old fashion meal. Service was friendly but food was just ok and not much talk about - burger with Wisconsin cheese was edible but McDonald's across street might have been better ( and I hate fast food), chicken tender according to kids were good, chicken with bacon sandwich was okay. The darn fly was probably not a good sign. Filled our tummies until the next stop.

The people are Nice and friendly however the Food is not nice. My husband and I both ordered the meatloaf. It was very dry with absolutely no seasoning. The side of bbq beans was also without a bit of bbq seasoning

RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! Be sure you're up to date on your vaccinations if you plan to eat here. Im surprised the franchise hasnt been pulled. Ugh! Nasty dirty all thru. Im amazed the truckers even stop here. Had to laugh at the question about Atmosphere....No option for DUMP.

I was so frustrated at this place. I had been driving all day (it's now 10pm and nothing is open) and finally pulling into town (stayed at Mill Inn... totally recommend!) with infant twins who were very hungry. We didn't even have the opportunity to sit down. As we walked in the front door a young woman snottily tells us, "We've closed down the non-smoking section for cleaning, you'll have to sit in the smoking section." There was still a family sitting in the non-smoking section and I asked her, "you can't just fit us on the side, we can't sit in the smoking." She said, "Nope, sorry." I asked her if there were any other healthy places around that were still opened and she recommended the McDonald's across the street. Leaving highly pissed... we drove around and happened to find Warehouse 201 which was still open and treated us like gods! (See review)

After reading the existing Yelp reviews, I was expecting a dump. Had the restaurant looked like that I was headed elsewhere. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. I was offered a decent meal, great coffee, and smiling, very pleasant service. My bill was a little over $10, and I got more than enough to eat. And, I really liked the coffee. My only suggestion would be to install two sets of front doors (or something like that) to keep the flying critters out. Unfortunately, a couple of flies wanted to help me with my dinner. No question, I would go back and eat there again!

This restaurant is ideally located, and surprisingly busy. However, the food is tasteless and not worth the price - and you feel the unhealthiness after the first few bytes. We went here because it was the first restaurant off the highway; should have checked Yelp first!

I can't give it a zero- but this is definately what it deserves. I was on the road for about 13 hours straight when I pulled into Sheridan- which happens to be in the middle of nowhere. I dragged my sorry butt in there, sat down (with the locals staring me down) and started to look for something decent on the menu. I noticed many awards honoring the culinary arts of the Country Kitchen by the town of Sheridan- so I thought it wouldn't be THAT bad...well, I never waited to find out. As soon as the tootless waitress came over to ask me what I wanted, I said I'm sorry and ran out for the door. I guess you can't put too much weight on awards handed out when the only other restaurant in town is MacDonald's.
