Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

On our way through Rawlins we stop at Cappy's. It was about 10am and the breakfast rush was just ending. I ordered the Breakfast Tacos smothered with green chili. They were delicious!! Just what this hungry traveler needed and something other than hash browns, eggs, and bacon (which they also have and is delish according to my husband). The coffee was hot and not watered down. I would recommend anyone making a stop before getting on the looooooong boring interstate, stop for the Breakfast Tacos and friendly quick service.

We stopped here on our trip to Minnesota from California and the service was great and the food was delicious.

Rawlins is a small town (pop. 8500) in the middle of nowhere from the point-of-view of a Californian. One does not expect fine dining here. No surprise, Cappy's is not fine dining. What it is, however, is quite good enough. We stopped for dinner on a cross-country trip. My wife had cheese ravioli. We were not quite sure whether they were made in-house or purchased elsewhere, but they were well packed with ricotta cheese and covered with a tangy marinara sauce. It came with spaghetti and garlic bread and could have fed two people like my wife. I chose a Caesar salad with chicken. Hearty portion, a good facsimile of a Caesar dressing, and fresh lettuce. We each chose a house-made pie for dessert. She had fresh apple pie a la mode, and I had lemon meringue. Both pies were just excellent. Our waitress was a young lady named Kayla. Very efficient and pleasant.

Don't Go There! This place is right off the interstate, so it's tempting for tired drivers. My husband had the daily special "roast turkey" - sliced lunchmeat turkey over stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes and everything covered with canned yellow gravy. Beyond bland. I had the chicken parm, erroneously believing that the jars of italian vegetables meant something. A chicken cutlet with thick tomato sauce on a soggy hamburger bun. Service is friendly but rushed.

3 words for you! (Don't do it.) There are better restaurants even with the few options that may be available here in this south Wyoming town of Rawlings. The real complaint is about this place stinks, the food is bland and there is nothing real compelling to draw you back. There are flies that buzz you and die bomb you while you're trying to eat. This place should be named just "Crap" I would give it 1/10 of a star but it won't let you. 1 little plus the waitress was nice and she knew English, so I guess that's worth a star. ( I think that says it all.)

Believe other comments. Go to Mac Donald's Pasta came directly from water bland and no taste sauce from can chicken Alfredo no flavor. Positive very goor service. Prompt and friendly to bad kitchen does not back them up

We had great service, Patty is great! The burgers are good, we had a mushroom Swiss, a patty melt, and the green chile burger was delicious!

I've been here multiple times and this place this always hit and miss! I decided to go for lunch today, I ordered the jalapeño poppers and steak fajitas. I wanted cheese sticks and chicken fajitas but they were out so I compromised. I ate 3 poppers and by the time I got my fajitas I was so sick I had to box it to go. I paid my bill and told the girl the poppers or grease or something was bad. She gets another girl and she gets an attitude with me saying if I ate them then I have to pay for them there's nothing they can do. I wasn't asking for a discount I just wanted u to kno ur food is bad. She could have been a little nicer! So much for hospitality! Needless to say I will NOT be coming back here again! Way overpriced and not worth it!

Service was disorganized but super friendly. I ordered the *house specialty-chicken fried steak. Wouldn't have been bad if the grease wasn't miserably old and everything was cooked in same fryer. The fries tasted just like the steak=cardboardish. The gravy was equally gagiful. I get that it's the middle of nowhere but grease is like the heart of a diner. At least clean the fryer on occasion.

Very casual environment. They were busy. All the customers know each other. It was great food. I would eat there again. I had the homemade chicken fried steak with cottage cheese, roll, and potatoe soup. I think it is worth a stop. If you are driving through then this is one of the few restaurants around. You won't go wrong. Staff was super friendly.

Lots of fried food, inside was greasy needed thoroughly scrubbed. Food was adequate, my chicken fried chicken needs better gravy. Also Rawlins overall was pretty much a dump, steer clear if you can.

We had great salad and fried chicken. Remember you are not in the middle of a city. Rawlins, WY is in the middle of no where. We didn't want to go to a bar with grill so went here. Friendly waitress. We would stop again.

To give you an idea of where I'm coming from.... We are traveling across country with no real solid plans of where we stop along the way, real adventurous. Anyway. We stayed one night at the holiday Inn Express and don't eat fast food (ever really) for dinner while on the road. This place was one of the recommendations from the front desk folks. We were limited because it was Sunday and understandably some places were closed and others were....well fast food. Off to Cappy's we went. The not-so-good: -Upon entering I was stopped in my tracks by overwhelming heat, heavy air, and the sound of a large amount of frying going on. -The appearance of the restaurant is dingy and not entirely clean feeling. I think this might be due to the excessive frying. -while the service was not abominable it wasn't really pleasant either. The waitresses were more like food haulers than hospitable servers. Half a star down....they weren't rude, just not friendly or helpful. -no air conditioning. Did I mention the Heat? Glass windows wrapped around the dining area. Put up some window blinds at least. - the fryer! It seemed like the fryer was 3 feet away from us on the other side of a partition wall. It was loud, didn't appear to have a vent so the thick fried air blanketed diners, it sounded too hot too. - It seemed that almost everything on the menu was fried, breaded, or covered in some sort of sauce. Hard to travel with this in your belly! The better: - chicken fried steak wasn't the worst although grey and mushy. Taste was ok, definitely better than a fast food meal. It came with a garden salad. No mark down here... Can't knock 'em for the same salad time salad every other restaurant serves. - iced tea and diet coke. Both good, both HUGE! - taco Salad. What a pleasant surprise. For a dollar or so more I went with chicken instead of taco meat. All the salad ingredients were fresh and it had good flavor. Be sure to drizzle the salsa on the salad, it's a good compliment. I coulda done without the rice and beans on the side but I just left it. - roomy parking area. We have a large truck and covered trailer hauling the toys. No problem parking along the backside - convenient off the highway. - although service wasn't cheery they were effective in getting food and drinks out to patrons. We were back relaxing in our room in no time. - more enjoyable and tasty than fast food selections in town

Sorry to say but I had some of the worst chicken and mashed potatoes I've had in quite some time. The salad and chicken grave were good though.

Good friendly service! Cheeseburger was as a cheeseburger should be. Western omelet was prepared well. It was pretty busy although we didn't have to wait too long to be seated or waited on. Server even gave us a road report about the construction ahead on eastbound I-80. All in all exactly what was expected of eating at a diner! Very close to two fuel stations and the highway which makes it a convenient stop on your travels.

Nice little place, I had the cheese burger and it was really good, it came with a side of fries and thay where ok, kinda greasy and could of been crisper but overall it was good.

So sorry that the first review was bad. I had a good experience! I was trying to decide between Chicken Fried Chicken or Chicken Parmigan. I asked the food server and I specified, "please don't say that both are good." The food server was quite creative! She said, "both dishers are different dining experiences." She went on to give tantalizing descriptions of both dishes. Her flair with the words helped me make my decision quickly. When I saw the prices, I originally thought, "typical small town expensive prices" until I saw how much food you get! Holy cow! The chicken parmigan was HUGE and the "side" of spaghetti was the amount I generally eat for a meal! Even the glass of water was huge! I needed both hands to hold the glass! Expect to to ask for a "go" box. The salad that came with the meal was on a different plate. The salad was the typical 95% lettuce, three grape tomatoes, and one ring of a purple onion. However, the salad dressing was generous, it was enough to drown the salad to the point where you don't care that it was 95% lettuce. I walked here from a nearby RV Park. If you are staying in one of the RV parks and don't want to cook, this will do!

Stopped here on a long road trip out to CA only because the Mexican joint in Rawlins that other Yelpers rave about wasn't open...after eating a hamburger and fries (soggy, consistent with another reviewer's comment) I woke at 3am with a churning stomach. For the next 3 days, I was totally incapacitated with food poisoning. Avoid!!!

We stopped her because it had been a really long drive and we needed food. Not very impressed. My French dip was gross. Bread was half hard, no cheese, soggy fries. I can tell you they definitely wash there lettuce! How do I know? Lettuce in my salad was soaked. She brought out my salad 30 seconds before my meal. My husband's Ruben was really good though and our waitress Kayla was sweet. Probably wouldn't go back. The place is decorated really cute and in a great location. They just need to brush up on some of there skills and learn how to make french dips.

Not worth the money you pay for the food .. I had a Cesar Chicken Salad and got food poisoning the owner has yet to return my phone calls or reimburse me the funds is cost to purchase the food. On my way home took me 4 days to travel a 2 day trip ...

I'f your traveling down I-80 and your starving, don't stop here. Drive anther 100 miles to the next town and save yourself some frustration. I can't review the food because the service was SO BAD...WE NEVER GOT IT! After letting a half hour of my life slip through my fingers after ordering a salad, I finally asked another waitress and only then found out our order was never even put in. The manager's lame excuse was...."she had to leave on a family emergency". Which leads me to believe the problem here is not the staff, it's the management! Which brings up all sorts of other questions. THANKS FOR NOTHING CAPPY! You might want to consider another line of work because the SERVICE INDUSTRY doesn't seem to be you cup of tea.
