One of the only bars for miles that offers live entertainment every Friday!! With the new non-smoking policy it's a great time for everyone!! Even though I enjoy a cigarette myself, the patio was more than welcoming for smokers. For every day of the week they have a different bar special. We joined Hansels for Mad Monday and received $1.50 well drinks- you can't beat that price!! The food is always mouth watering and the employees are more than helpful. We will definitely be returning again and again!

My wife and I tried this place before AND after the new management took over recently. Wait staff was SLOOOW And food was mediocre at best; came out lukewarm and soggy.

Service was 50/50. Food quality and freshness leaves something to hope for. The fish&chips were cold and soggy. The beer prices are ok. Weekly poker games are crooked and they change out dealer in the middle of a hand. You'll always loose here, the Sam group of people run the game at Hansel and other bars in town.

I had to try it. The reviews for this place weren't awesome. It looks like they have changed things up. I had the western burger and it was delicious. The fries were seasoned well. I was kind of shocked that it was so good. Service was fast and friendly ! It really seems like they are trying. They have a customer service questionnaire after you eat. I would definitely come back.

The absolute worst place I have ever been too. Came up here for a family reunion, they took about 15 minutes to ever give us a menu, 20 minutes to give us drinks, an hour to give us food, and another hour to give us our check. The only reason we got any of that was because we had to go ask people for it! If it wouldn't have been for my parents morals we would have just walked out! The food was absolutely terrible. I had a wrap that was completely drenched in buffalo sauce. I would have been better off drinking the buffalo sauce straight out of the bottle. Also the bacon in the rap wasn't even cooked, quite disgusting. The waitress was too busy flirting with the three guys at the table next to us, didn't talk to us at all until we got management involved then all of a sudden she wanted to be best friends. I would never in my life go to this place again.

You would think by looking at the furnishings and the menu that this would be a decent place to eat. However, the food is mediocre at best, and the service is so slow that you're better off driving to Cody and eating somewhere better.

We're visiting Powell this week and decided to try Hansel and Gretel's. We were expecting small town, diner-ish food, and this was not it. Service: Even though the place was nearly empty, the waitress was slow to bring crayons to our children, slow to bring water, slow to take our order, slow to bring our food. This was an extremely slow dining experience, which was not good because we had small children. Food: The name "Hansel and Gretel's" would suggest German food, but there was no German food to be had. We ordered sandwiches, which were sub-par and took a good 30 minutes to arrive at our table. Also, the french fries were cold, as though they had not been cooked. Interestingly, when we complained that the fries were cold, the waitress brought a large plate of hot, fresh fries within a few minutes. This suggests that hot, fresh fries are possible, but that timing was not going well in the kitchen. We would not visit Hansel and Gretel's again.

Food is average to poor depending on what you get. I would agree with got to Cody or the Lamplighter if you want good food.

Stop over in Powell on our road trip. This was one of the few places open at 8:00 pm. Strange place with less than desirable food. Perhaps we should have chosen the Chinese buffet or even safer, the gas station sandwich.

Good bar and really good food for a small town. Lotsa beers on tap. I dig it. Feel like this place would be perfect for a pub quiz night.

Go and do the bar menu only. It is dirty, the food is not good and overpriced. Good drinks. Go into Cody or,Lamplighter for food.
