This place is consistently good and I'm always happy with my food here. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes the food is a little slow, so we don't go there if we are short on time. But if you have time to sit and visit for a while, this is a nice place to go! We come here for American homestyle food - and that's what we get. Portions are a good size and we have had every kind of meal there - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything always tastes very good! The menu changes frequently so there's always seasonal specialties to check out. The baked goods are reallllly good and the pies are so tasty!! I always request breakfast potatoes with my meal because they're yummy! ;) They also have daily specials that are a great deal! We always make sure to check to see what the day's special is.

We grabbed breakfast here because it was conveniently located in our hotel, and our friends were staying there as well. I wasn't expecting much, and I wasn't surprised about the quality of the food. Our server and hostess were very gracious. They get 5 stars. The food, sadly was bland and unappetizing. I know, it's a chain. I had the Asian Chicken Salad (yes, for breakfast). The chicken managed to be flavorless and extra chewy. There must have been a shortage on salad dressing, as I could barely taste it. The iceberg lettuce was slightly wilted. I have no idea what the crunchy topping started as, but it was not good. I know, this is a revered American institution, and if you normally eat at chain restaurants, you'll be fine here. I would rather have a creative and fresh meal, especially given the price point.

Hold on to this chef. The breakfasts here were very good. I had the spinach, mushroom, roasted tomato scramble with chicken Apple sausage and fruit. It was so fresh tasting and flavorful. My husband's pancakes were perfect and slightly crispy on the edges. Wish I knew how that was accomplished. Coffee was excellent -- not weak. Service was delightful -- thank you, Kenna. We hope to come back tomorrow before leaving Laramie.

My wife and I frequently visit Perkins when on the road mostly because we find their pancakes to be some of the best we've had when traveling. We stopped at Perkins in Laramie, WY for dinner this evening and found it thoroughly enjoyable. The dinner menu is fairly limited but the pork chops with Cajun seasoning was very good. Our server Fred (224), was exceptional and Perkins would do well to recognize his talent.

We ate here twice in the two days we spent at the Holiday Inn. The first day we had really good breakfast. The only complaint I had about that day was that our server forgot a lot of our items that we ordered and gave us the wrong items we ordered. We also ordered a slice of pie and he was all mashed up and thrown in a to go box. The second day we had lunch and the food was good and service was good too. Their prices are reasonable as well. Overall we had an okay experience.

Outstanding restaurant and service!! Who would believe you could have such an amazing experience at your local Perkins. The food was AMAZING and yes I meant to capitalize "amazing." And the service, oh the service! Jen floated through her section like a fairy spreading love to all her patrons. She LITERALLY and I mean LITERALLY is the best server in this establishment (give this girl a raise). Cheers to you Perkins! Love Carter

This is definitely the place for Sunday morning breakfast with family and friends. Omelette a and pancakes are delicious!

We ate there tonight about 8 pm. Only 5 occupied tables. We did have a 10 minute wait to get acknowledged. The shift manager just seemed not totally present, perhaps ver very tired?? The waitress did seem mentally exhausted but was pleasant and fairly prompt. My son had the smokehouse cowboy burger ( the one with onion rings in it) and declared it a very great burger and filling. My DH had Texas Two Step dinner and liked the meat and beans. I also had a smokehouse dinner... The brisket was excellent but the coleslaw was awful and soupy. They do make awesome mammoth muffins but... The dinner rolls are wimpy... Very wimpy- it would take 4 of them to make a dinner roll. All in all, it may be awful compared to other cities but for Laramie, it really is on the better end and worth the price.

So.... honestly with the horrible reviews I was leary... but we were staying in the hotel and were too tired to go elsewhere. However, the entire experience was the opposite of most other reviews. Our server, Michelle, was awesome. She took our order within minutes of being seated and was friendly and quick. She managed us and a few other tables with ease. I even commented to her about how i was nervous because of the yelp reviews and that she was a nice surprise. I ordered a chef salad with no ham... there was ham on it but they took care of it. My sister had soup and salad and everything came out quick and was tasty. Maybe it was because we had a simple order? Maybe it was the nice waitress? Either way, it was a nice dinner and if were back in the area at any point we would go there again. Way better than our Applebee's experience!

I have eaten breakfast here three times twice during the week and once on a Sunday. Food is average at best but what you would expect form a chain breakfast restaurant. The service during the week was very good and fast, on Sunday it was busy but they were terribly understaffed. Waited 15 min. just for someone to come to the table and get us some coffee. It was actually the host, he apologized and said he mistakenly triple sat that waitress. All in all I will probably return, hopefully that was just a onetime mistake.

Just had lunch there, 40 minute wait for our meal. The food was ok but it had been sitting under the warmer for a while. I will try to not eat there again.

Avoid this dining (?) Place...consistently bad...same issues. The food is terrible and the server would just like you to drop off her tip and leave .... now.

The breakfast was good, the service was decent, but it was overpriced for what you get. We stayed in the hotel so it was just convenient but would never make a special trip to eat there. Also, there was some breakfast specials if you are a hotel guest, but I guess you have to ask for that special menu in order to take advantage of it. It would have been nice if we were asked if we were staying at the hotel and if we would like to see the special menu.

Other than being convenient for Holiday Inn customers, this doesn't have anything going for it. The coffee is like dishwater, the coffee-shop fare isn't even average. Better off with the McDonald's across the street or Village Inn a block away.
