Had a fabulous dinner on Valentine's Day. We made reservations. Our table was ready early. Free roses. They created a nice atmosphere. The tables weren't on top of each other so it felt private. We had the beef spring rolls which were excellent, great sauce. My husband had beef wellington-YUM. I had prime rib which IS the best in town. Cooked perfectly. Both came with garlic mash and asparagus. For dessert we shared a piece of B52 cheesecake-OMG. We have tried the other steakhouses in town and 311 has always been the best choice. More value for the price. Better food and much much better service. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for making our special night out wonderful. We highly recommend 311 Lounge.

Finally, a place in Gillette that has a menu that doesn't resemble a mediocre chain. 311 is pricier, but comes with a better atmosphere, menu, and drinks than other options. The local drafts (like Black Tooth) are solid and come in tall iced glasses. They also have a wall of wines in the entrance. We didn't have any but I'd imagine the selection is broad. Upon recommendation, we ordered the tuna skewers. Very good! It was only topped by the chocolate and banana foster cake slices.

I had the Beef Welington. It was very good and my wife had the 311 fillet, she loved it and I thought it was great. All in all a great dinning experience, however the Crem Broule was soup and I do not recommend. Also the cocktails were not well balanced. I would come back for sure.

Very, very good burger! So good we had to go back! They cook the burger to your liking, and the mixed fries and sauce is yummy! $10 to $12 for a burger, and worth every penny, large enough for 2 meals.

Had to send the tuna back...might have been me and their sauce, but I don't eat fish that isn't right to me. Graciously replaced with salmon which was fine, albeit a little undercooked for me. Didn't want to be too picky. All in all a great NON-CHAIN establishment with a refreshing ambiance. I'll certainly return when back in town.

A little pricey for Gillette but the ahi tuna burger is the businessssss! Really good food and great for production crews shooting in town.

This is THE spot in Gillette for a great dining experience. Great beer and wine selection. A menu that rivals the best in any large metro area. Example: "Petite Filet" is about sixteen ounces... and for those keeping score....it's 16 dollars! If you are looking for a top level, unique dining experience in Gillette Wyo. Look no further.

This place is great. No where near anything that you would normally find in G-town. Perfect atmosphere with a blend of amazing food and unique drinks. Kind of small which can make for a wait but well worth it.

Surf and turf special!! All I can say is oh my god is it good. We also had the chips and salsa for starters. They are probably the best chips we have ever tasted. They season then with salt and pepper. We will most certainly come back next time they have serf and turf.

Last year I went here and was very satisfied. This year, not so much. The food was generally fine, but 311 misses on some of the details that would bring me back for more. For example: someone needs to learn how to cook a steak. Both of the steaks in our party were ordered medium and came medium rare, with one of them on the rare side of medium rare. Not enough to kill the meal, but still... My fontina and prosciutto stuffed pork chop was a B+/A- entree. It was an interesting idea that needed a better execution. The beef wellington, on the other hand, was "quite good." My nephew said the fettuccini alfredo was the best food he'd ever had, but then again, he's eight years old. The pasta frangelica was very good, and an interesting dish; it's not often that I taste a sweet pasta dish. The major problem came with the chicken sesame sandwich ordered by one of our party. It tasted exactly like cheap frozen chicken, thawed out and cooked on a foreman grill. And I know what I'm talking about. I am a graduate student, after all. We sent it back and replaced it with a salad, which was decent but not great. 311 did the right thing and took both the sandwich and the salad off the bill.

Nice place and it seems a little too fancy for such a small town. The portions are small tapas style and priced like a big city. I had a friend say don't go there hungry. I think the concept would do well in a bigger city but I fear that it may be too much for such a town.

If you come here knowing what to expect, then you'll be fine. Overall the 311 is a place to come for drinks and appetizers and that's about it. the meals are fairly small (but you'll notice they are called Petite Entrees, the place is pretty up front about it). we went there and had appetizers, which were good. the crostini had been pre-made and had sat for a while, so it wasn't very crusty. the stuffed cherry peppers are very good, and the voodoo shrimp was excellent. the acoustics in the place are odd. It wants to cultivate a casual bar atmosphere, as well as a trendy restaurant. but the place is really loud. had floors and hard walls make voices echo. When we were there the majority of people in the place were women, but they had sports playing on tvs above the bar. overall it feels like the place doesn't really know what it wants to be. good food, expensive, good drink specials. Not sure I'd go back but its not really my kind of place. My wife said she would take some girlfriends out there if they were doing a girls night.
