Name changed to the cobbler. Scenic log cabin style with outdoor seating on the babbling brook. Menu for breakfast offered senior specials and the expected. Find it isn't visible from main street. It's off the hardware store parking lot. Nice service. Food very good

As we were walking down the main street, we asked one of the locals where to go. She recommended Mom's. A appropriate to the are log cabin that is tucked away next to the river, huge on charm! Coffee is good, bacon tasted like it was cooked on a grill, not greasy. Sourdough blueberry pancakes were on the side of super delicious. We thought the prices were a bit high, but then also realized they are pulling from the seasonal tourist crowd and they need a profit to see them through the slow months.

Holy cow this place was delicious! You need to sit out on the patio next to the river. Everything we ordered was very good. The eggs and wheat toast was my favorite. We will definitely be back!!!!

This place provides a nice breakfast experience. The menu is fairly traditional although there are house specialties like fresh chorizo. My "American Breakfast" was cooked exactly to order. The food overall was solid. My real takeaway though is the fun I had talking to the friendly staff about their operation and Dubois generally. Be warned that this is a fairly small and cozy place. During warmer weather the deck helps with that.

Not the best place on our cross country road trip, but not the worst either. Sort of run of the mill. I had the monte cristo, which was good but not fantastic. My wife had a made to order veggie sandwich, and they left about half her stuff off the sandwich. The owner is super nice and checks on you all the time, very attentive. We got some pastries for the road, but they weren't good at all. I wish the quality here was as high as the attitude of the owner. If we were in the area we would give it another shot.

I am hiking the CDT and every time I get into a town, I ask some locals for their favorite eateries. Someone at Brooks Lake Lodge tipped me off on Mom's, and I'm glad they did. Made a beeline there this morning and had a humongous and delicious omelet (hearty and gourmet are not an extremely common combination). Try the Chorizo-I'm not usually a huge fan, but ask about theirs, it's unlike anything I've had. Also, went back for lunch and had the Monte Cristo, which was fantastic and I'll be trying (likely in vain) to make one at home after the end of my hike. If you're headed through Dubois, DON'T MISS MOM'S! Make sure you're there early-ish in the day, as this is a breakfast/lunch place and is only open until 2:30. I'll be coming back any time I'm in the area. The staff was great as well.

Wonderful breakfasts! I had sausage gravy over biscuit. I ordered a half serving and it more than plenty. My husband had bacon & eggs and everything was cooked perfectly and he said the bacon was especially tasty. Service was perfect, highly recommend!

The owner must have posted the two 5 star reviews. We had breakfast. The eggs ordered over medium came uncooked the first time. Pancakes are awful. We had three servers. I guess when you have limited competition you don't have to care. Expensive to boot.
