Such a great little place, everyone was super nice with great service. I tried the pot pie and woah! So good! The pumpkin pie was fantastic and my boyfriend loved the chocolate pie. All in all pretty wonderful.

I don't remember much of the pie, but the carpet was dirty, dirty! They have ugly furnishings OK service. They should get some miss matched antique tables and chairs and some pergo flooring. Give it some character, I might remember the pie!

This place is amazing. Thank you Yelp! Passing through I stopped in and had their Chili with cornbread. Chili was delicious and the cornbread was hot and melt in your mouth. The honey butter and honey were an added special touch. It's not a fancy place, but looks like a grandmas house. The food reminds me of what your grandma would make if you had one if those iconic grandmas. Stop in and enjoy one of the three soups (they always have chili plus two others) or one if the many other menu items. Yumm!

I can only give this rating on their pie. I have never eaten here, but my husband and I went in and bought a cherry pie. We figured it had to be really, really good since they specialize in pies, and the price was an absurd almost $15.00 for a regular size pie! Not so! The crust was awful, and as well, the pie was super tart and had no juice whatsoever inside. It was the first cherry pie I did not like in my life, and I love cherry pie. You can find much better tasting pies at King Sooper's or Albertson's grocery store, and save yourself $$$. Better yet, make your own if you crave a really good pie with great crust. ;) I am rating the cherry pie bad, but I presume all the pies there are made of that same not so good crust, which means I would have to give all the pies a poor rating. I can see there are good reviews on the menu to eat there, but after eating the pie, I am not sure I want to try the food.

Excellent chicken pot pie for lunch, as well as the sandwiches which were fresh and good sized portions. Unfortunately the dessert pies are just so-so. The crusts were not flaky, they were flavorless. The cherry pie filling tasted canned. The banana cream filling was better - rich and flavorful. The chocolate pie filling was too sugary without a rich chocolate flavor, tasted like cheap chocolate pudding. In terms of the pies I expected more from an establishment that specializes in pies, but the lunch offerings were quite good!

Pie is one of my favorite things, so I was really excited about The Pie Lady. The Pie Lady was lonely on the Monday night that I went. My coworkers and I were the only people there. The regular food is pretty regular. I had one of the specials of the day, twice baked potato soup in a bread bowl, which also came with a side salad and a teaser slice of pie. The soup was a little watery, the bread was on the bland side, and the salad was a little sad. I wasn't that disappointed with dinner because I was there for the pie. I've never seen so many different pie options. I upgraded to a full slice of pie and went with the peach. Our waitress, who was very sweet, offered to heat the pie. The pie was tasty, but pretty regular too, although I admit to being a pretty picky pie eater. I also had a bite of the German chocolate pie and the apple crunch pie, both regular tasty too. Getting to choose among so many different kinds of pie surrounded by walls covered in aprons is an experience.

My husband and I had lunch at The Pie Lady today. It was our first visit, since we are new to Cheyenne. The food was delicious..I had a Egg Salad Sandwich and my husband had a Grilled Cheese. Service was good and so was the pie! Will definitely return.

Eaten here probably half a dozen times and never thought to review it... duh? Was just there this past Friday and it was good, as it always is. I had the chicken pot pie (delicious!) and topped it off with a slice of peanut butter cream pie. Boy was that tasty! I also recommend their prime rib sandwich, which I have eaten in past visits. You really can't go wrong here, their pies and food are really, really good.

Check the Pie Board for fresh pies daily, worth the road trip detour!

The Pie Lady is a nice little diner. The pie boards are always full of great flavors, but they seem to run out of the same ones every day. You also have to take a chance that your favorite will not be available. The aprons they use to decorate are fun to look at, but make for awkward wall hangings. I've tried their soup and sandwich special. Nothing to write home about. In fact, you could easily make these at home yourself. The soup tastes like it's from a can. The sandwiches are what you would pack yourself if you had time that morning. They even serve bagged chips with their meals. But the Chicken Pot Pie is where it is at! You have to come early in lunch service because once they are out of it, you have to wait until tomorrow for another chance. There are many elderly people who dine here, so make sure you come early to have the best selection. I prefer their frozen pies to the fruit ones. Key Lime Dream is a treat if you ever get the chance to try it!

Wow... Where to start? First of all, my Garmin said the place was called Lady Pie. I was very disappointed when we arrived to find out it's actually Pie Lady. We read these reviews on our way toward Cheyenne and thought it looked promising. WE WERE WRONG!! My brother and I ordered the special (whiskey marinated prime rib). It came out covered in brown gravy made from a mix(which was nasty) and powdered mashed potatoes. Please don't advertise homemade food if you are going to use powdered mixes! The prime rib was 45% fat and WAY over cooked. A small piece of pie came with the special. I was excited for the pie (it is called Pie Lady) because I couldn't choke down the meal. The pie was mediocre at best. Everyone was very dissapointed. Our wives split a meal and we still couldn't get out of there for under $50. Worst meal I've had in a very long time. We went to Chick-fil-a afterwards because we were still hungry.

Don't miss the baron of beef. And the pies, as expected, are tasty!

Be sure you stop here - the pie is delicious! We tried four different kinds (you can ask for 1/2 slices). We also ordered the white bean soup in bread bowl (delicious!). Great customer service, too.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I was very disappointed in the service we received at The Pie Lady. My mom and I went in about a week and a half ago to have lunch and to talk to someone about ordering 15+ pies for my wedding. There was a small lunch crowd, probably about 10 tables to serve, and 3 waitresses. The waitress who served us was very friendly, and she tried to answer our questions as much as possible. As far as the process to order 15+ pies for a wedding, she suggested we speak to the manager. So we ordered lunch and waited to talk to the manager. Lunch came out in less than 10 minutes, so the kitchen didn't seem backed up. It was fine, but nothing fantastic. I had a chef salad that was made with American cheese slices, and I could have made the same thing at home for a lot less money. Anyway, we finished lunch and ordered some pie (which was decent at best... the crust was too soft and the filling tasted canned). While we ate our pie, the manager finally came to our table, but before we could say/ask anything, she stated, "I'm sorry, I'm too busy to speak with you. Please call and make an appointment". I completely understand being busy and short staffed, but as a manager focused on customer service you would hope to be treated with more respect, especially when someone is wanting to buy bulk product. She did apologized and said "please" in her short encounter with us, but her tone was annoyed, she didn't allow us to ask any questions or leave a number, and she basically cut us off with no potential for follow up other than "please call and make an appointment". I was really disappointed with the quality and the customer service. I've never been treated like that at a restaurant or service organization, thus the reason I felt inclined to write a review and share this very unprofessional experience. This is unacceptable. One final thought...if you call yourself The Pie Lady, you better make the best pie in town. The Strawberry Rhubarb tasted like it was made out of jelly. The Peach had no flavoring like cinnamon or nutmeg, and it literally tasted like canned peach filling was poured in to a store bought crust, and slapped with a $13.75 price tag. Gross!

Pro's: The food is very good and the pies are really good too. Service is average. Con's: atmosphere is average. Located in a strip mall area. Cost is on the expensive side. Their policy of not seating a partial group that is waiting for someone to join them is irritating. I haven't visited them after they pulled that on me. Probably won't be back.

I highly recommend this place for the pies. They have lunch and dinner too but I haven't eaten anything but pie yet. The pies are excellent and change daily. If you want a good dessert, go to The Pie Lady. I have tried the lemon creme, the banana creme, the german chocolate and the peach. All fantastic. A slice of pie is only $3.50 and you can get a teaser slice for $2.10.

We went here at the recommendation of one of the employees at Sierra Trading Post while shopping. It is a unpretentious place with good homemade food. I had the barbecue pork sandwich that came with chips and pickles and my friend had the egg salad sandwich. They were both very good and huge portions. The meals came with a pie "teaser" (a small slice). The pie was great. I would go here again. I think Sierra Trading Post should get some brownie-points for sending customers to The Pie Lady. We saw 3 other tables of folks that we also saw shopping at Sierra Trading Post.
