Please my surprise in Cheyenne! Good drinks and appetizers. Crab cakes were wonderful, baked Brie was well made and Ménage a Trios was good! Good service.

The food is amazing! Serious kudos to the chef. However for the prices you are paying which are on the high end, you would think you'd be able to hear the person sitting across from you. We've been here a few times once on karaoke night which we expected to be loud. Once on a week night where there was a louder group sitting at the bar doing shots and disrupting our $130 dinner. The last time we went we could over hear waiters and bartenders talking about their lives while we were trying to have a romantic dinner. The sound travels really far in this restaurant and for the amount you are paying especially on date night you'd expect it to have a soft ambient which we haven't experienced yet. I'm sure we will try this place one more time before giving up. There are so few nice places to go in cheyenne that when we moved here we had our hopes set on this being "our place" but we have been disappointed so far.

This was a treat to find in Cheyenne. The food was delicious. We didnt have any drinks...I think we were the only ones not drinking. They looked amazing. Saw some complaints about atmosphere...no way. Its a total retro throwback vibe and loved every minute of it. Great to see something different and fun! We be eating here every time Im here on business!

Nothing every fails me here, I will always go out of my way to stop in here when driving through town. Great Drinks, Great Food with a menu that changes every couple of months. They keep the menu short, but focus on making it amazing. How could you not love this place? Ps try a breakfast shot!

So this place is very hipster, and attempts to be fine dinning. Service was decent enough, but food really needs work. Server started out with great recommendations for beer. Being from Cali it's always fun to try new beers from different places and he steered me the right way. He had good recommendations for the food which I Probably should have taken. Sadly his follow up was poor. Once the food was delivered he was MIA. I would have loved to tell him that my steak was tough and the dish relatively flavorless for what it was. As I've stated the food was terrible, and sadly the dish is an interesting idea. The steak for started is filled with tendons and was not cooked well. The bacon was also under cooked and almost raw. The polenta underneath was not able to stay together while I cut my food. Lastly the "halendase" sauce was really Bernese and still relatively flavorless. Plating was good but that is about it. Sadly the place seemed too into its look and not about getting a good meal out. It's too bad the dish is a great ideal, my wife and I will probably fix it once we get back to Cali

Looking for a good place to eat in Cheyenne? Ever wonder what "Flash Fried Brussel Sprouts" taste like? Here it is! A great beer selection too. I didn't have a martini, but they had quite the list of "infused ones". The half chicken dinner was delicious. My only issue was that the roasted potatoes were not quite cooked all the way. Oh, and those Brussel Sprouts- very good!

Service was good. Dark martini bar/restaurant. Love the lighting. Downstairs is what the restaurant calls a "speak easy" with Wii bowling, a more casual feel and funky drinks like rum drinks you can have served in a half pineapple or cantaloupe. Wait, they also have an outdoor patio with firepits and live music on saturdays. The drink atop I had was a cucumber viper which was tasty and refreshing. I ate the Flatbread pizza. You ask the server for the evening selection. It was an Alfredo sauce with chicken and chopped tomatoes with ranch on top. Underneath the pizza was wilted greens. 4 little pieces. Boring. I used lots of pepper to give it flavor. Great to try, maybe I should have chosen differently. One day I will have something else like lobster mac n cheese. All in all I like it for the variety in one place. I am glad I found it.

Concur with majority if the reviews here. Overall a good place for Cheyenne. This place had a contemporary look and feel. We were here on a Tuesday night, so the surrounding neighborhood was pretty quite but this place was surely alive. The server was friendly and took time to explain the menu. Had a couple of local beers on tap along with the fried Brussel sprouts topped with cheese (can't go wrong with anything that is deep fried and then has cheese!). Also, had the Steak Benedict which was a nice modern twist to the classic steak and eggs. Overall this restaurant definitely stands out among the limited options around this town.

Fantastic drink menu and service...I highly recommend this spot. Within walking distance from our hotel and located downtown, not far from the capitol is a quaint martini/cocktail bar. Far from a dive and not too upscale but just right. Their drink menu was massive. They even had food too. We requested to sit outside, surprisingly enough everyone was sitting inside instead. I asked a server to put out the fire torch above our table and he thought I was weird for asking but he obliged. Our server was great and very friendly. Shit, EVERYONE in Cheyenne was so friendly. My brother and cousins started out with dirty martinis, I got the Orange Julius which was like a martini screw driver. I had no idea how much the martinis I was ordering cost, which turned out to be super cheap! 3 of them for $18! The martinis ran from $6-$10 and were not weak. They also had a great wine selection and beer. My family members and I absolutely loved this place, it is such a shame though that most places here stop serving at 1am and do last call at 12:30am. Not their fault though. They even had karaoke inside and do live music with singer/songwriters inside as well. I wish we had this place in Austin.

Decided to pop in here for lunch. Ordered the pot stickers for an app. There were a little less crispy than I would have liked, but they were still delicious. The dipping sauce they come with was nice and tangy. For lunch I had the mac n cheese which was nice and creamy. I added spinach in it and I think mac n cheese should always have spinach in it now. My mom had the chicken flatbread sandwich and she really enjoyed it. The pepper jack was nice and melty and the chicken was soft and had that awesome blackened flavor. The bacon inside was perfectly cooked and was great bacon. Service was awesome. Also, I go here for drinks every few weeks and they are probably the best cocktails in Cheyenne.

Kind of a bummer. Food and atmosphere was great but service was really bad. Not sure if it was all the waiter's fault. Drinks and food took a reaaalllllyyy long time! No water refills nor were we asked if we wanted more drinks. We ate tapas but the food was brought out before they brought out small plates for us to use. Let's hope this was an off night.

Mike the BT ....come with a creative mind because he will deliver!!!! Just ask for the drink you got in NY, Vegas, Miami, or LA and you will be transported to that memory! Second tip: don't even look at the menus; just ask for the chef and have them suggest the meal for the evening......it will be the best release of control you will ever do because the trust you have in the chef and staff will exceed your expectations!!! I did and they did!!!!!

BEST.SERVICE.EVER! Page was awesome and beyond friendly and helpful! The gentleman who seated us was also friendly and gave great recommendations! Visiting Cheyenne on business and my colleague and I found this place based on Yelp reviews...so glad we gave it a try! The crab cakes were great (and we are from Seattle so we know a good crab cake!) I had the chipino which was served with the best bread for dipping! The Co-worker had a steak wrapped in bacon served with an egg...he enjoyed it! It's a great atmosphere no matter what the occasion! We were "talking shop", there was a group of older women enjoying themselves, people on dates, and someone dinning alone at the bar! A place and a spot for everyone! Highly recommend it!

Great food for Cheyenne. I pass through every once in awhile on business but hadn't found any outstanding food until my boss and I happened upon Suite 1901. The decor makes this place feel a little like an early 1990's nightclub, something you might see on the original Beverly Hills 90210, but the food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious! We ordered a bunch of apps, the fried Brussel sprouts, Brie en croute, and crab cake and shrimp. The crab cake was excellently prepared with fresh crab, a thin breading and good seasoning. The brussel sprouts while ok weren't my favorite due to a little too much oil used in the frying process which left an oily coating behind. For dinner I had the chicken and waffles. Mmm mmmm mmm. Those corn waffles complimented the chicken so well and the maple bacon sauce on the chicken.... SO TASTY! Would come back just to order that again. If you're looking to have a nice meal in Cheyenne this is a good place to go!
(4)Arianne B.
My hubby & I went here for our anniversary....we will return!! It was so nice to be welcomed and the service was beyond perfection!!!! Music was great & ambiance was stellar!! Will be back soon!!!!
(5)Mike J.
This place looks nice on the outside and has even more character on the inside. Very spacious and modern look to the front with a quieter area in the back. I took my wife and my 2 and 5 year old kids and we enjoyed great service. We even got to check out the basement which the kids thought was neat. Food was good all except my brined grilled chicken which was a little dry. The other meals were good for my wife and kids though.

Went to eat dinner here in a Saturday night, we had 9 in our group. SUITE 1901 had excellent service, staff was very attentive & the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect w a band that played later in the evening. I would recommend calling ahead if u have a larger party, but they accommodated us right away:). Great food, I would definitely recommend trying out this lovely hidden gem.
(4)Macey M.
This came up under sushi restaurant, it is not. The atmosphere is good and the service was nice. Our food was slow and a bit over cooked.
(2)Alea N.
BY FAR the best atmosphere/service/martini/quality food in town! I LOVE the place, with its Art Deco feel I never go there without dressing up a bit. Sometimes they have live jazz! Since moving to town I've tried almost all the different martinis and I've never been disappointed! The baked Brie is AMAZING. My one tip though is that if you think it might be busy, get a reservation!!!

Wanted to like this place but it really needs help. First, ordered a beer on draft that was said to be an IPA, not even close. It was a Belgium. The server insisted it was an IPA, definitely not. No use arguing. Oh well I drank it. Burger was mediocre at best, definitely not worth 16 bucks. Salad was good. Service was friendly and prompt, but they need to get more familiar with the drinks. Kinda of a bad experience overall.

So happy to have found this place on our way through Cheyenne! Just as we read in other reviews, the ambiance was great. Cool art deco decor and good music that was audible but not too loud :) We sat near the bar and the bartender was also our server. She was very friendly and super helpful. I tried a specialty drink of her own creation with chocolate patron, frangelico and half and half- so good! Dinner was very good. Would definitely recommend the beef short ribs. The brined chicken was good, but not great- too salty in my opinion. I appreciated that their menu denoted gluten-free items. As we found out accidentally- Tuesday nights are date night, so you get either an appetizer or dessert for free with two entrees. Try the chocolate mousse- YUM!
(4)Emily N.
The reviews are spot on! Wonderful service and tapas. We had the crab cakes, ricotta doughnuts and the marshmallow doughnuts for dessert, they were magical! The drinks are fun and adventurous.
(5)Heather B.
Expertly cooked meal!!! Drinks were on Point !!! Thumbs up to the owner and compliments to the chef!!! The pan seared salmon was to die for. crab cakes were just the right appetizer :) drinks mmmmm drinks perfect chill spot. Date night or girls night
(5)William B.
If you are tired of the chains or even great restaurants then this is the place...that cat behind the bar (mike) has the mixology for whatever ales you. The smoked rib eye...that's the way to go....best steak in the west!
(5)Kandi A.
Great ambiance and even better service. They have a great drink selection and perfect apps for sharing. It's a good after work spot with a friend to unwind. Enjoy the perfectly poured adult beverages while you relax and don't forget to order some eats. Easily one of the best eateries in town.
(4)Kim H.
I'm only giving this place a 3 because of the service, which was great. However, the food and drinks were really mediocre.
(3)B J.
Comfortable environment. Good food and good drinks. Pretty good service too. It's really laid back, my gf and I will be back!
(4)Njaimeh N.
My mom isn't easy to please, but she absolutely loved this place! She's been raving about her meal for the last few days. The host and server were extremely kind, and the chef came out to chat it up with us. Very warm, friendly atmosphere...I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Cheyenne!
(4)John H.
Neat place, good atmosphere wish the food, service, price could of matched. Don't order the veggie pasta... Just don't . It had no flavor, was very bland and they charged us 20$+ per plate. Took them 20mins to bring out crab cakes out, which the crab cakes themselves is the only thing saving this place from one star. Wife had the wine she said it was meh.
(2)Ryan A.
Oh I wasn't feeling at my best this night, so any criticism of this place would be unfair. The drinks seemed good, the service was good enough. I couldn't quite get over the fact that a martini bar existed in Cheyenne, so I forgot to think about anything else. If you want a martini in Cheyenne, this is very likely the best place to find it.
(4)Monica D.
Love this place! Excellent food, drinks and service! Paige is such a sweetheart and a fantastic server! Ginger and key lime martinis were to die for. I'm sure all of the martinis are mouth watering! The food is outstanding. Crab cakes are phenomenal and the brussels as well as the appetizer dips were great. I wish I had a bigger stomach! Atmosphere was very pleasant. Is this restaurant in Cheyenne!!????? About time! :-)

I can imagine pulling off an upscale restaurant/bar in a place like Cheyenne would be quite a feat, but I'm pleased to report that Suite 1901 pulled it off successfully. This was the after party site for my best friend's wedding last summer. When I first enter the place, I definitely got an old Hollywood feel, almost like you were transported back into the 1940's. To add to that nostalgia, their specialty is martinis. I remembered a 4 page martini menu, which was crazy. My favorite was the lychee martini. I had about 4 of them they were that good. They also served food late, which was nice commodity you would rarely see even in San Francisco restaurant bars. I loved the space they had for my friend's wedding after party - a room downstairs. It was the perfect spot to fit all of their friends and made for a great spot to mingle. Overall, a beautiful place to end a beautiful day.
(4)Emily A.
This place is amazing. They have live piano music, old movies playing, benches with pillows and so much more. The food and drinks..... Amazing! Great for a date night or just because. Service is great too!
(5)Brandon M.
Friendly staff, good food, good drinks, awful, horrible ridiculously lousy, karaoke. It's killing your Friday nights. Make it go away! Just play cool music that goes with the cool atmosphere.
(3)Bill W.
What a pleasant surprise on our way thru Cheyenne. Classically trained chefs producing a very eclectic menu. Fun, attentive servers with fast delivery of food n drink. Extensive beer, wine and really unique drink list. Try the spicy merrytini! Outside seating. Interesting and fun decor. A gem inside a historic downtown building. Highly recomended.
(5)Ang H.
I'm not a martini drinker, but if anyone could make me into one it would be Suite 1901. Lately I've been going through the menu trying one or two a night. The dessert martinis are dangerously good - I've had the chocolatini and root beer float. The Cool Hand Luke was also very good. The food has been delicious every time I've gone. I'm glad they added entrees to the menu so I can have a real dinner. Usually, though, we each order an appetizer and the whole table shares. As past reviews have stated, the service has been bad at times. However, the last six or so times that I've been in it has been great. Especially the bartenders! I'm ready to say they've turned things around and have a good crew on board.
(4)V P.
Mediocre at best. The food/bar menu is a decent size and the bartenders and waiters are great but the ambiance feels like a pseudo airport/hotel bar. The place was decently packed for the middle of the week but most of the people were there for drinks. Caution with the food and stick with regular dishes (burgers) as you think you're getting seafood but it's pork.
(2)Stephanie S.
I was really surprised to hear about Suite 1901 when I moved here. I'm from San Diego, CA, and have been to a few higher end places. The drink prices are $8 a martini, and they used to have specials for every night of the week. The last time I went the waitress looked at me like I was crazy. They make their own infusions that are really yummy. The "skittles" flavors are awesome. Really creative drink names. The brie is FABULOUS, and the "bruschetta of the week" is always interesting. They recently opened a wine bar and I have yet to go. I give it 3/5 because your bill always ends up being a little outrageous for drinks and apps, but what can you expect from a "martini bar"? Would go again if I'm bored on a Thursday.
(3)dano s.
I have never been dissapointed with the nine after nine entrees and have nothing but raves for the bartenders danielle and aden. i always order a dirty gin martini which has never failed to satisfy. this place is a fucking oasis in cheyenne so appreciate it or else....
(5)Brian M.
While on a road trip from San Francisco east across the USA, I stopped at Cheyenne. I spotted Suite 1901 from my car and parked in front. I had a great dirty martini with potato vodka. Then the small plates arrived. The beef brisket sandwich and brie cheese plates were awesome. The chef here, I was told her name is Jean, is super creative and talented. I was really impressed. The staff is also very friendly. On my way back to San Francisco a month later, I stopped here again. It was just as good as I remembered. This bar would be a solid contribution to the night life of any city, including San Francisco.
(5)Lindsey K.
I've been here several times and have been more and more disappointed every time I go. The service is terrible. I stood at the front door for 20 minutes on one occasion and not one person acknowledged my presence. I would have walked out if I hadn't been waiting for a friend. The infused liquor is good and strong but having more than one could potentially get you a DUI. Get there early if you want any kind of decent seat and don't bother with anything except the martinis. The food is overpriced and definitely not worth the money. (Ex: $12 for four pieces of brushetta.) Needless to say, I won't be going back.
(1)Mark T.
It was pretty good for Cheyenne. Little on pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Drinks were awesome, food was superb, ambiance was nice. Only issue was sitting outside the fire pits kind of jam up a table of 4, and make it more like 2 sets of 2, design over functionality here. Update - try 2 Really wish yelp had half stars to rate with. Would be 4.5. Drinks are a sure five. Food is a solid 4. Fish tacos weren't great, although everything else we ordered was. Sweet fries, potato wedges, and Mediterranean nachos.
(4)Robin A.
I love classic cocktails. Finally. Some place retro, and fun. The martinis are expensive, but are "HUGE." The ambiance is supper club-ish. They have a fun menu with Tapas. But, I go for the cocktail. A good one. Proper. 1901 has an interesting mix of personalities who frequent it. Different ages, from legislators to young professionals. The customer service is great. You won't be disappointed.
(4)MileHigh G.
I have tried this restaurant twice, the experiences about six months apart. I love tapas and REALLY wanted to like this place. Both times, the food has been simply awful. I'm amazed when I read good reviews. The most recent time we had the cajun shrimp. This dish was so over-cooked the shrimp was as tough as beef. In addition, it was over-spiced and I LOVE spice. We sent it back, which is something I do NOT do easily and have rarely done in 40 years of eating out. A decent chef KNOWS over-cooked shrimp and if the customer mattered, would NEVER in a million years have served that dish to anyone. NOT only was our meal awful, there was no adjustment to my ticket for this dismal, inedible meal. I will never EVER go back and I refuse to accompany friends to this restaurant. IF the owners ever get a new chef, perhaps. Save your money and your time.
(1)Casey P.
It's a gem in a town like Cheyenne--what a nice surprise. I go there now whenever I'm in town.
(4)Janet L.
We were passing through Cheyenne and Randomly discovered 1901. The service was great. The food was top notch and a guitarist came in and played. It made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.
(5)Stephanie K.
Haha...trying to be upscale in Cheyenne feels like an oxymoron to me. This place looks like something out of a cheap 80's trying to be 50's decorating book. This place was pretty dead when we went in, so it didn't really help the minimalistic decor. I ordered a dirty martini and this thing reeked of vermouth. I know this isn't a huge town, and many people may not order martinis, but a dirty martini is so basic! Awful...had to send it back and ask them to add more olive juice. The only plus was that this martini was $8. Something I don't see that often out in LA or Phoenix for that matter.
(2)M W.
For me, Suite 1901 has been going downhill for a while now. The menus and specials as advertised don't exist, the menus are cheap and don't present well. The food has been a huge disappointment. The martinis are too sweet so I stick with the beer. The beer selection has been good in the past, but they have chosen not to restock the beer that is advertised. I actually made a visit two times during a week and the first visit they said they would be getting their beer shipment in two days. Three days later I show up and they still don't have the beer they promised. The service is sub-par as well. I think this will be checked off my list of places for happy hour from now on. It is too bad, this place was actually good when it first started, now it is awful all the way around.
(1)L H.
Trust me ... the $19.01 tapas deal will feed 2 people. If you're heavy hitters, order that + one. Love the filet and the brie...especially the bried (which is advertised as a cold tapa, but is heated to melting and served with candied walnuts and fruit ....yummy!). I'm not crazy about martinis, but my friends love them. Spent a lovely evening there recently with DH and Jake the pianist. I danced with 2 year old Charlie who was seated at the next table with his parents and grandparents ... he was a real music lover. But back to the food ... it's delicious. The chocolate dessert laced with vodka(?) is a bit strong for some of my friends, but I liked it a lot.
(5)Megin R.
I really enjoyed Suite 1901 because of the original Art Deco decor. It's rare that you see the original fixtures anymore. They did go overboard with some additions like the tvs showing old movies from the 30s and 40s but I did enjoy the projected movie. The wait staff was nice and overall the food was good. The proportions were large especially for a Tapas restaurant. Their martinis were hit or miss, I had a the Capone a pineapple and coconut infused vodka martini similar to the "Jayhawker" at Ten in Lawrence, KS, both are good drinks. My husband had the a Bloody Mary Martini and it was okay. It's not the best food I've ever had but with some tweaking I think it will be a great restaurant. It is worth going to see for its decor (it's not 80's decoration, most of it is original from the 30s and 40s) and having a drink, just order one tapas because it's a whole meal in itself.

Key element here : Potential. What's up everybody? This your boy Colton Crosby or "Double C!" here. 1901 has some solid potential. This girl Stephanie needs to put some ice on it, pump the breaks a little bit. This place isn't all that bad. Yeah, a high dollar martini bar might not exactly fit in Cheyenne, but I'd like to see this place take off in a good direction. Went with my boys Mo, "O", and Perry V. Of course we rolled into it all G'd up from the Feet up. There isn't a dress code, but ladies, please, if you're gonna bring a man, make sure he looks decent. Tired of seeing Ron Jeremy look-a-likes in there rockin a visor and a hoodie with holes and paint stains. Lookin like he just left home depot or got lost on the way to the homeless shelter. Ladies, if you got a bad case of BACNE (Back Acne) or some Zity Tity, cover that up please. MY GOODNESS. This is only referring to 1 person. Good place to take a date. Good looking Bartender, gotta catch her name next time. Basement has an array of furniture. If your a$$ is broke, this aint the place for you, better luck with my cheating ex at goofy's on quarter beer night. I'm going to be generous and give it a 4.
