My father and I have lunch together every monday. This past Monday we stopped by a long time favorite of his, Plow's Diner. Open as long as he can remember, Plow's has been serving people fresh diner style food for ages. It's a little dark, a little smoky, and not the cleanest place around but the people are nice and the food is great. Recently the diner has been passed onto a new owner, but already she's made sure to keep it the way everyone remembers it. Monday's special was the meatloaf, one of my favorite dishes, and I'll be the first to tell you that I will be back for more. Served with a hearty Wisconsin cheese soup, mashed potatoes and a roll for under $10, it can't be beat. If you get the chance, stop in and enjoy their locally famous biscuits and gravy and maybe some good conversation while you're at it.

I haven't been back to Plows in years... The food was decent, but not worth the smokey, gross, filthy diner tops. And mildy rude service... I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon... I get into arguments with people about them having "the best biscuits and gravy in town" - I disagree, but I seem to have the unpopular opinion among my circles.

I would not have gone to this place if it wasn't recommended by someone. I am sure glad they told me about it. The outside of the building would make most people drive away! However the inside is full of life. Everyone knows everyone inside, it is like going to Grandma's house for some home cooking! They allow smoking inside, so if you are sensitive you might not want to go. We went in on a Wed, very small inside. We didn't have to wait long before someone was finished with lunch and we were able to sit. Wed special was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. They also have other items on the menu, such as burgers. They also have pies that they serve for dessert. Staff is very friendly. If you are looking for the restaurant off the beaten path, then you should stop here.

A good friend of mine who lives in Casper took me there yesterday. He bragged about the hamburgers and pies. When you drive up to it, you kind of feel like saying "you're kidding" but was I surprised! The inside is typical old style diner and the clientele is worth the price of admission. Food is basic but large portions. The pies are baked daily and are to die for, especially the blueberry cream one. The staff is very friendly and attentive plus they have been there a long time. Highly recommend.

Okay wasn't going to go back again but a freind took me and I ws hiijacked..... Again the place was filthy and they really need to replace the flooring... Ordered the special and it was pork chops. Ordered a burger for my son. The chop was a dried out and didn't come with a sauce or gravey to help it. The burger was so dry my son didn't eat most of it.... great food..not from what I have seen.

By far the best hamburger I have ever had in Wyoming. Their breakfast is good too. Fries are fresh, but the best part of this place is the soups and their PIES!!!!! Mile High Pie! Just wish it wasn't smoky. Don't let the looks of the place decieve you, it's cleaner than most places I have been in. Reasonably priced and they give you a lot of food.
