4/8/15. This is one of Shirley's go to places for lunch! SAY WHAT??? A pho restaurant in Casper, WY. There isn't another one 100 miles from here. Cute little, plain looking with no ambiance but inviting space. It has gone through a couple of owners I heard. It is now family owned by a Vietnamese family. I ordered for lunch the Chicken Lo Mein. Flavors were wonderful & there was plenty of it. Shirley ordered her stand-by Beef Pho. Said the broth was amazing, and best pho around! We also shared an order (3) of Spring Rolls w/hosin sauce which was stellar. Our waiter was friendly, checking on us often, curious if we liked everything. Very affordable prices. And at the end of our meal......Fortune cookies!

What a surprise! I was in town for a night for business and came across this hole in the wall restaurant - Pho Saigon. Thinking in my mind..a pho restaurant in Casper, WY?? Not expecting much but I have to give it a try. When I walked in, I was given a look like you would imagine - a Vietnamese from out of town walking into a pho restaurant in the middle of Wyoming. I came in and saw a mom and daughter who sat me and someone who I assumed to be their American husband/BF. I even tried to throw him a curve ball by ordering in Vietnamese, he did not ask me a single question about my order. This was hands down one of the best pho dac biet I've had in years. I live in Seattle and pho here is like Starbucks. I have been to Vietnam and tasted some of the best pho around. The broth was amazing. Flavorful with great aroma. Something that I would have from my mom. The portions were great and the service to match. I am so glad that that I came across this restaurant, I am just disappointed that I no longer travel to Casper for work! I hope they continue serving great food.

Great Vietnamese Pho hidden away in plain sight! Pho Saigon is an authentic ethnic restaurant with delicious food. I always try the Beef Pho. Can't go wrong!!!

Fabulous Pho, and spring rolls in Casper of all places. Lee and family cooking have consistently provided authentic, and amazingly authentic and truly fine renditions of noodle, rice and vermicelli bowls and tasty meat, veggie and rice plates. The aromas will take you to the wonderful southeast Asian idea of food heaven. Have eaten Pho from Saigon to San Jose and from Seattle to Salt Lake. Need go no farther than Casper for equally fine fare.

I wish I could give a bigger star rating but the flavor was just not there. I had the pho tai and yes it was a monster bowl of broth a little beef some tasty noodles but. The flavor was not there. The broth was just colored liquid no wow factor. I was the only customer in at noon not a good sign. I also tried the egg rolls ok still no flavor. Sorry folks I wish my rate was better and not a rant. I am sure that a few people like this place as I see 4 to five star ratings. I may give it another go we will see.

I have been to this restaurant probably 10 times, so obviously I like it. I didn't even know what Pho was prior to the first time I ate here (It is pronounced like a cross between "fah, and fuh", not "foe") but now I've eaten pho from Pittsburgh to Seattle, and I keep coming back to Pho Saigon. First of all, bring your appetite. Even the "small" bowls of pho are enough to fill most people up. And if you want the full experience, getting an appetizer of their wonderful spring rolls is a must. The decor is a bit rundown, but don't let that discourage you. The service is great and the operators are friendly and polite at all times. If you're from Wyoming or just passing through Casper, don't overlook this little gem.

Don't be scared off by the exterior of this restaurant. I stopped by Casper for lunch before catching a flight and was pleasantly surprised by this pho place. The spring rolls and pho were absolutely amazing, and be sure to try the coffee with condensed milk too!

It makes me really sad to write this review. My family comes and visits Casper every summer and it's been a tradition to visit Pho Saigon. We called ahead for takeout and as we pull in I see a sign that says "new owners". Sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes not. Since the food was amazing before, there was not much more it could do to improve, but only go down. My son doesn't like too much crazy stuff so I ordered his look mein with only broccoli. I repeated it several time because I wasn't sure he understood. I thought he got it, but sadly no. My wife got lo mein too and she was not happy. Both were greasy and tasted strange. I got the beef pho and it was decent. A little thin and not as much body as before. I'm not sure we will be back.

This place has very tasty beef Pho. An order of spring rolls comes with 3 fresh rolls & peanut sauce. We found them to be excellent as well. The place is very small & appears to be family owned restaurant. Is nothing special outside/inside, it's plain & very barren. If you come here, it's going to have to be for the food & friendly service. I agree with fellow yelper that this place rates about a 3 of 5 stars in the upkeep arena. IOur Waiter/cashier Lee was happy to serve us & he checked on us frequently. He was really interested in our opinion of the food & was confident we'd love it. A young family member was quietly playing a game at one of the tables. The family is all here:) I wouldn't hesitant trying them if you like Pho.

While visiting Casper on business recently I stopped by Pho Saigon for some takeout. Liked it so much I went back the next night. Great food and friendly owners. I'd eat here often if I lived in Casper.

I really feel that this place has turned a corner, and would recommend it to anyone. Giant portions for soup, and not that expensive. They have the best eggrolls in Casper. No joke.

06/10/15. Took my granddaughters there because they are noodle freaks and they were surprised that we had such a place in town. We ordered three items to be shared by the four of us. First, noodles and broth, in a bowl that would have lunched up an entire roofing crew. Fortunately, the gd from Oahu had a hollow leg and was able to get near the bottom of the tureen. Nothing but satisfaction so far. Then, to the pork low mein. Ordinarily, noodles waiting this long would be sticky and warm, but these were firm and better than warm. All agreed that our fare compared well with what we had found anywhere in our travels; however, we could not finish this platter . The spicy beef served with fresh salad veggies was tasty but too much, too late in our lunch. Plain surroundings are of small notice when the pho is great and the servers are so attentive. And the place was full. We will go back, and take some noodle appreciating friends.

I was very happy to find this place. After a week of poor dining experiences in Casper I noticed this little hole in the wall and stopped in. I'm very glad I did. The pho was good but needed a little doctoring (no big deal its pho) but the spring rolls were excellent. the staff was very friendly and outgoing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a full belly of hot tasty food and hell the nicest staff I've been served by so far in Casper.

I went in about 7 months ago when I first relocated to Casper. I came from a city with a lot of awesome Pho options and I had one of those cravings! I decided to try Pho Saigon and I was slightly disappointed. Then, I saw they closed down.... A few weeks later they reopened with a new owner and BAM! They are doing a great job. I've been 3 times this week alone. The meat is great, the broth is great, spring rolls are great and the wait staff is friendly. Today it was a full house, with every table filled. I hope this restaurant continues on this trajectory. Go order a number 14 and some spring rolls if you are looking for a good starter option to get you into Vietnamese cuisine. Way to go Pho Saigon, way to go!
(4)Cindy B.
I love the number 7 and enjoy the spring rolls. This place is a hidden treasure. The people are nice and whether eating there or getting take out the service is quick. There is plenty of time to eat here for a lunch break. If you call ahead it will even be ready for you when you get there.

The fact that there is a pho joint run by a real Vietnamese family is a gift from the gods. The pho is real, real broth, real noodles, etc. the Vietnamese coffee is solid. The springrolls are hand made. They serve hosin sauce instead of fish sauce. I'm guessing the fish sauce is to ethnic for the local taste. But the hosin works good. This place made me able to survive casper when I was homesick for real pho. I highly encourage everyone to come here, the owner is very nice. Keep him in business.
(4)Anna C.
Very cute family run, polite and efficient service.

It is a good Vietnamese restaurant considering the fact that it is located in Wyoming. the Pho is average. You should try the Vietnamese iced coffee milk, the make it perfectly. You should try the shaken beef rice also (I forgot its correct name, lol), this dish comes with a fried egg, deliciously tender beef, rice and soy sauce. I haven't tried their Lo Mein yet, so I cant tell how it is. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, he even gave me interesting tips to make Vietnamese coffee milk. Negative: The restaurant cleanliness is about 3/5 stars for me.

I wrote my first review for this place here: yelp.com/biz/pho-saigon-… Unfortunately, as with most of my first-to-reviews I make mistakes on addresses and shit, so there is now a second page for this restaurant. Anyway, I was less than impressed with my first experience here, but I'm happy to say, that I've been back (quite frequently) and well, they've changed their pho and made it about as good as I have had anywhere. This has become one of my go-to places while in Casper.

Wow! What a shocker, let me tell you. I've come in today, January 27th, 2014 to find new owners!?!?! Respectfully, I still wanted to enjoy a great Vietnamese meal. I ordered the usual, pho dac biet and an order of eggrolls. Unfortunately!!! My eggrolls we're pretty overcooked. And I mean wow, overly deep friend to the point of seeing burnt sides, etc. Now my noodles. Before I start, let me say that i fancied this place when Roger ran it with his brother. Anyway, my broth was pretty plain. No other way to put it. Had to put in my hoisin sauce to make some flavor pop out of it. But this place has new owners and they will have challenges so I'll wait and see how it changes :/!

As you enter, turn right and walk the 10 feet down a hall. At the end of your walk is the kitchen. If the kitchen is cleaner than yours, then stay for dinner. If not, you may think about moving on.

Passing through Casper, and tried this place for dinner because of seeing it on Yelp. We really, really, really enjoyed the Chicken Pho and the Beef Lo Mein (#10 ). There was plenty of it, and the flavors were wonderful! My mother-in-law enjoyed the pork comboo, as well. Most entrees ranged from 8 to 11 dollars. The atmosphere was pretty plain, but the food is wonderful!

A nice simple place to get a good lunch, dinner, or some take-out. I really like the Mi Xao Bo (beef lo mein); lots of vegetables, flank steak, and thin noodles. The spring rolls are good and seem very popular. The host/owner is very friendly and great to talk with. I have stopped in twice and will go back again.

Recommend the Tai Nam pho. Rice bowls, veggies and eggs are cool. We were served with forks and knives rather than chop sticks. This is not particularly spicy so it is well adapted for the local population. We were served very quickly. Fortune cookies have cute sayings here. Owner has CD boom box playing music. One would be hard pressed to find better Vietnamese food at a more affordable place anywhere near here.

Huge big city noodle bowl restaurant in a small town! Excellent find. The food here is great, the portions are big, and the prices are low. That's called a "trifecta" Pho is great here although it maybe took some time to season the pots? - the pho has gotten richer since they've been open and it's now the equal of just about any bowl I've had anywhere around the country. They have good steamed buns, which is a pretty rare treat even in bigger markets. The dining area is very basic, but the cleanliness is high - something I've noticed seems to be a by-product of an owner in the kitchen! PS Espresso fans: Try the coffee with condensed milk, it's the kind of coffee that makes you see the future via caffeine

Not crazy about dining with a non service dog at the next table...but the owner did not appear to care...boom box music, Jesus, Vigin Mary, and some asian hero/relative altar...weird red bows everywhere...an interpretation of feng shui ??? The summer rolls were stellar...but I can because of all of the rave reviews regarding the PHO...this is definitely a basic interpretation of americanized Pho but it is not the Vietnamese Pho I thought! Would I return...well no, the restaurant/residence does not appeal to me as the boom box on one side of the room and cartoons on the other, a dog in a restaurant--not so much, and basically very bland PHO...no I will not. Save your Pho adventure for an authentic Vietnamese place on Federal in Denver...it just makes so much more sense in the long run.
(2)Jody M.
I love Pho...I love that there is Pho in Casper!! This Pho is good Pho!! The rolls are amazing, the Pho is amazing, I only gave it 4-stars because they don't deliver to me :(
(4)Megan S.
Good Pho! And they have the slow drip coffee over condensed milk, YUMMM
(4)B O.
My wife and I frequently come here and have always received amazing food and wonderful service. The owner is very helpful and super sweet. Overlook the decorations and just enjoy the food. We love the number 6 on the menu and are working our way through all the dishes. So far they all have been excellent.
(5)K W.
Decent for a Vietnamese fix. It's a crackerbox, but the food was fresh and hot and delicious. Not bad.
(3)Caitlin C.
This is where I come for Pho- but definitely only get the small bowl. The large bowl was bigger than my head. My boyfriend loves all of their steak dishes. It's cheap, filling and the pho leaves me feeling warm all night ^.^
(4)T E.
Great food, especially the Lo mein! Atmosphere needs a lot of work, so I recommend take out or pick up. Service can be awkwardly slow if you do pick up because they have no bell on the door to let them know you have arrived.
(4)Nicholas P.
If you live in Casper you should try Pho Saigon as it is an Authentic Vietnamese Pho experience in an uncharacteristic place. The interior is fairly spartan though the pho is worth it. As it is fairly straightforward and traditional. All in all a good place worth visiting.
(4)Kelly R.
Okay it's not much for ambience but the food is really good. Try the spring rolls they are some of the best I have ever had.
(4)Hanh D.
Yes, this is authentic Vietnamese food. I grew up eating this food. The owner was friendly, and our food came out promptly. We had appetizers (fried chicken wings and egg rolls). Nothing against their egg rolls, but I prefer my mom's. I had pho and it was good. The broth was savory. I had banh bao (steamed buns) to go, which I thought had too much black pepper. Overall, a good Vietnamese restaurant.
(4)Andy S.
Great food and service, very friendly staff. Try a steamed bun.
(4)Vanessa G.
Very authentic food. Nice service. It's small but cozy. Stay in Casper only two weeks but have been there three times. Super good pho soup

How can I sum up this restaurant? It is fantastic for WYOMING. It's not as good as best you will find in large cities like LA, Houston, or SF, but temper your expectations accordingly, as this WYOMING! Let me state that the food is good. Please don't misconstrue what I am trying to convey here. It is the only Vietnamese establishment for hundreds of miles. I found this place about a month after they opened their doors. The pho is good. The spring rolls were also good. Also, try the BBQ pork and rice. Hopefully, since I have left Wyoming, someone has had a chance to try the pork and egg filled chinese buns. I would literally buy every single one when I came in to dine. Usually about ten. Hopefully they have more clientele now that they've been open a while, so Anh won't be the only one serving the entire dining room....poor guy. If you are in Casper or the surrounding little towns, make a stop here. You won't be disappointed. I used to drive from Douglas, WY just to stop here and eat. That may not seem remarkable in itself, but sometimes it was the only reason , to make the hour long trip.

Food is not bad I have had better Vietnamese food but for a small town not bad.
