A must hit. One of the best breakfast joints in town! Solid food. Kind folks. Attentive and down to earth even though I was from out of town and new...i felt right at home You won't be sorry.

We had these folks prepare breakfast sandwiches and burritos for catering thing today. Fab nice all. Best of service here from entire staff. Gotta get back while we still in area to try other menu items. Thanks folks. You are tops. Ok..so we came back later this morning having, friend the breakfast sandwich. I just finished really good cinnamon roll, eggs susage hash browns and plain waffle. Best waffle ever, in a restaurant. Light batter made. Most are heavy cakey things. Not here. Best of service here also. Sincerely a great experience here.

Very good breakfast sport downtown Casper. Stopped in here 4-5 times on my way through. Wifi, cheap good eats.

If you can get there early, the wait isn't too long (this is the only reason this review isn't 5 stars). The food has been consistently good and service excellent.

Oh my gosh. I had the breakfast tamales and they were delicious. I could have had a second plates. Great Service. Awesome place.

We ate here for lunch and enjoyed it immensely. It was hard to finish everything. We were so full.

The food is good here and the atmosphere is relaxed. I really enjoy their cinnamon roll french toast topped with pecans and caramel. There's plenty of savory options, too. As other Yelpers have noted, the fresh squeezed orange juice is a real treat! They make it just right - not too much pulp and not too much sugar. Delicious! The service is a bit slow and the front desk/hostess station is kind of disorganized. We were a party of five arriving on a Sunday morning and we waited almost half an hour for a table. While we waited, we saw several parties of 3 and 4 who arrived after us being seated before us. Finally, my husband asked the hostess to seat us at a table for 4 and just add a chair. She looked completely surprised by the suggestion, but we were seated next. When your 4th party member is a child who fits in a high chair, this isn't exactly a new idea. The bathrooms are kind of inadequate for a restaurant this size. There is only one bathroom (no stalls) for women and one for men. So if one woman is in there with her toddler and her infant, you know you are in for a wait. While the food was good, I probably wouldn't return with my kids. It was a long wait to be seated, a long wait for food, a long wait for the bathroom, and even a long wait for the check.

Best breakfast hands down never been disappointed the orange juice is amazing I just wish the waitress had told us it's cheaper to order a carafe of juice then 2 large glasses

Food was awesome, waitress could have been attentive instead of walking away while we asked for ice, straw, etc.

Great breakfast place. Truly glad we found this place through Yelp. The green chili was fantastic.

I thought this was a pretty good breakfast place. The coffee was decent and hot! I ordered an omelette and it was just okay, however boyfriend ordered the tamales plate and it was fantastic! I would highly recommend this. The service was nice and timely and it's in a nice location. I would go back if I was in town.

There were some nice little twists to the breakfast menu. I was excited about ordering a chile relleno with an egg on top and home fries for breakfast. It had a very crunchy, thick batter and needed a pepper with more girth to balance things out. It would have been awesome, but unfortunately there was only a small trace of probably Anaheim Pepper in it. I loved that they had espresso as an option rather than the run of the mill, watered down coffee.

Great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch in Casper. We showed up for a working lunch to a decent line. I was a bit reluctant of the 10-15 minute wait. We were seated within minutes, and our order was on the table in 10 minutes or so. GREAT service, this place knows how to move folks through. Everything looked and tasted great. Made it back for breakfast, the tamales are wonderful! Highly recommend this place!

The food was okay and the waitress was pretty good (though I felt quite rushed to order - I'm sure she's busy), but for the price I felt unsatisfied. They totally burnt my dad's toast and still served it to him. That's not cool at any price, but especially not for what we paid. It's not exorbitant but we've gotten better meals for less.

  • Chris T.

All in all not bad breakfast spot. Honestly seemed like a dressed up Perkins/ihop. Service is good but slow and beware the coffee. If your from out of town, just get something that they know how to make. My machicatto ended up as a heavily sweetened shot of expresso (I hope) soaked in warm milk and sugar. The Greek eggs Benedict was ok. The feta cheese didn't pair well with the holindase sauce and the artichokes gave the dish a sour taste. I don't believe they are fresh which I believe is the problem. The cheesy hash was ok, if that is your thing but it was very heavy-almost needlessly. As stated before the service here is good but really slow, especially while waiting for the check.

Greeter was a little rude, but everything was good after that. Service was great (Shasta) fast and friendly. Food was above average. Frittata was well cooked and pancakes were exceptional. Would return.

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast in town. Such a cute and friendly place with amazing food. The orange juice is always fresh squeezed. Absolutely love how fresh everything is!

Pretty decent breakfast spot, seems to be popular with the locals. I ordered a sesame chicken salad and it was delicious. Huge portion, generous amount of moist chicken, and a nice mix of greens. My co-worker ordered an prime rib sandwich and he said it was pretty good. Friendly service.

Showed up at 6:30 with my volleyball team. Service was stellar and server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Food was awesome, more food than some could eat. Bacon was amazing and very very generous. The fresh squeeZe orange juice was as good as it gets. Nice cozy environment, fun colors on and a great way to start the day on Casper. Won a silver medal 13 hours later and thanks to eggingtons the day started and finished on a perfect note!

Absolutely packed...and worth the wait. Fresh, tasty food (omlettes are fantastic), great service and warm staff. This place has a great, local vibe. Will be back if I'm back in Casper.

Eggs Benedict was awesome. Almost as good as my grandmas which is saying a lot. Service was excellent even though I walked in 15 mins before closing.

Another fine breakfast. Had the florentine Benedict. Cooked just right although the red potatoes still having great flavor were cold. Something's I am sure are cooked ahead and just on a steam table

Best breakfast in town - need to get there early though. I love the sausage and cheesy hashbrowns. Ideal for an early morning meal before a day trip. Staff is always friendly and respectful, making for a reliable good start to the day.

Found this cute litte spot to try for lunch on a recent quick visit to Casper. The food was solid as was the service. I would go back, for sure. I tried the turkey panini with artichoke hearts and feta and a side of sweet potato fries. It certanly hit the spot!

    (4)
  • Evan J.

Food was fantastic! The traditional eggs Benedict was great alongside some classic cheesy hash browns. My waiter did not say one single word after I had ordered to me or my table. Most importantly my waiter pushed me to get their orange juice instead of water, but LEFT OUT the fact that the PRICE of the orange juice was $7. Yes, I repeat SEVEN DOLLARS. $7 for a glass of juice. My juice cost the same amount as the whole meal I just consumed. Unbelievable.

My favorite place in Casper. It can be jammed at times but if you're willing to wait 15-20 minutes you won't be disappointed. Peak times are noonish on Friday and after church on Sunday. Try the mimosas and the chocolate peanut butter brownies ( maybe not together...)

  • Brittany N.

Third time eating here this week and I haven't been disappointed yet. Great selection of either breakfast or lunch and full menu is served all day, well until they close. First visit I had the turkey and pepper jack panini with a side of french onion soup which was awesome! Next visit I tried the breakfast quesadilla with chessy hashbrowns which was ok but tasty. I highly recommend you add a side of green chili and fresh squeezed OJ!! My sis got the blueberry muffin French toast which was really good and was sweet enough where you didn't even need to add syrup. Today I finally tried the Florentine Benedict which was GREAT!! Ask to try their Berry Mimosas.....2 thumbs up!!! Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely one of my Fav places in Casper. This place is always packed so get there early.

My sister lived in Casper a while back, and this was her favorite place for breakfast. Since I was passing through on my way back from Montana, I thought I would give it a try. Per her recommendation, I had a side of the applewood smoked bacon with my meal. It was nicely cooked and very flavorful. For my beverage, I had a good iced latte. As for the main event, I opted for the Eggington's Omelet (diced honey-cured ham, tomatoes, mushrooms, and melted Swiss cheese, topped with hollandaise sauce). I had this with a side of rye toast and cheesy hashbrowns. I am sad to report that between the omelet and the hash browns, this was almost a cheese overload. It was very filling and the flavors were good. Service was excellent. I would love to stop back by some time to try one of their benedicts.

This is one of the best places to eat in town, not only is it local it is hands down delicious. I have brought my friends, fiancé, and visiting relatives here and it has always been fantastic. One of my favorites is the French toast made from their cinnamon rolls with Carmel and pecans. Eggingtons has a wonderful reputation so there is usually a wait but even twenty minutes is worth waiting (and I hate waiting). The atmosphere is warm and cozy but has a modern twist, I can not recommend this place enough!

  • Shae B.

Stopped here on our way through town. Could not have made a better decision! Ordered a Bloody Mary and screwdriver (with fresh squeezed orange juice) while we waited for our table. Both were two of the better versions of these drinks we've ever had (and we've had a lot!). Once seated, we ordered the vegetarian frittata and veggie panini--BOTH DELICIOUS! The veggie panini is particularly spectacular. As a side, I ordered the pepper cheese soup (one of the soups of the day) which we were skeptical about but gave it a shot. It did not disappoint!! So delightful! Ended up dipping the veggie panini in the soup and was in heaven!! Super affordable (including $4.25 generously portioned drinks--after we got the bill we said we should have ordered 3 more!), very friendly staff, and incredibly delicious food. We would highly recommend to anyone passing through town!

I really this place, as the service is always great. In addition the food is always top notch.Their fresh squeezed orange juice is great and wonderful surprise in Wyoming. I have ordered a number of items from their breakfast menu including french toast, waffles, frutitas, scrambles and have been very good. I am a regular there and the servers often credit my rewards card before bringing the bill. The servers often call me by name, but sometimes get it wrong. That is not a big deal, as they mean no harm and are really just trying to be friendly and make me feel welcomed. I go to this eatery, at least once a week and will continue that, as long as they are open.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The Eggs Florentine is delicious and their cinnamon rolls are to-die-for! Plan on a wait, especially on the weekends, but this place is super delicious and we've never been disappointed.

7/26/14 stopped in for breakfast, place was very busy with people waiting, but only about a 10-15 minute wait. Hostesses very friendly while working with the wait crowd. Seated at table middle of floor, place very noisy, but typical for busy family breakfast place. Our server Melanie was great, very cheerful, energetic and attentive. Food was great, good portions, reasonably priced, fast service. Looking around it seem to be very adequately staffed for such a busy shift, which was resulting in great service for the patrons Would definitely return.

  • Dakota C.

The food was good, I guess, but a little over priced $3 for coffee. And the hostess and the waitress were incredibly rude. The hostess pretty much yelled at us for accidentally giving her the wrong number of people (1 more baby) and then told us it just wouldn't work, then tried to play it off like it was cool. Then the waitress seemed like she hated her life and when we asked what the extra charge was for because it didn't give an explanation on the bill she rudely told us as if we were a huge problem. I won't go back. EVER

The Best place in Casper for breakfast, or lunch for that matter. This small local business has the best customer service I have ever seen in my life.. The owners and staff know exactly how it should be done. Amazing food, perfect customer service.. Well done..

If you want an amazing breakfast while in Casper, look no further! I suggest you add the green chili too! (I was born in New Mexico and raised in Texas) trust me the green chili is good....PANCAKES are soooooo good, you can tell everything is prepared the way you would want a breakfast to be. SO glad I have this place to eat at!

  • Sean J.

Green Chili is amazing. The Benedict is very good, I had the Florentine with the hash browns as a side. The hash browns are baked in cheese first so they aren't very crispy inside. Just a heads up. The muffin could be toasted a little more, something to mention while ordering. The staff is very friendly and fast. The atmosphere is great, very comfortable and warm. Definitely recommended!!

  • Viv S.

Wow, we were a party of 6 and ordered a wide variety of items off the menu. The best surprise was the biscuits and gravy. It was tastiest I've ever had. The hash browns were pretty good with onions, cheese, and sour cream. You'll be let down if you're expecting the crunchy pure potato variety. The bacon, spinach, sun dried tomato frittata was fantastic as well. If we come back that's gonna be all mine. The triple berry waffles and French toast were good too.

After several days in search of yummy food in Wyoming we were delighted to find Eggington's. Wonderful breakfast options, great coffee, warm & friendly staff along with a clean, comfortable environment make Eggington's worth finding. Zoey & Anjelica are terrific. Quesadillas with green chili=delicious! Also mimosas & bloody Marys. We waited a few minutes for a weekend table & parking was scarce, but were definitely happy to dine here.

We stopped here on our way to Mount Rushmore during a family car trip. We chose it based on the Yelp ratings and WOW we were not disappointed! The omelettes were amazing, the pancakes delicious, and our kids ate every bite. Do not miss the cheesy hashbrowns!!

  • Roy S.

Here's the problem I have with Eggington's. I'm allergic to wheat and they have too many items that aren't usually made with wheat (tamales, salsa, etc....) They did cooperate in trying to find me things I could eat, and I got a dish that was quite good. But somehow I still managed to eat some wheat with the food - I suspect it was a seasoning they used on the red potatoes. If the rest of the food is as tasty as what I had you probably wouldn't be disappointed here - unless you're allergic to something.... or unless you're really hungry - the portion was rather small. Fortunately after eating a buffet the day before I wasn't immensely hungry.

If you're traveling through Casper WY, Eggington's in the sweet downtown is a great place for breakfast. Families lined up on Saturday morning for good reason. Try the huevos with green chili! Delightful atmosphere too.

We are traveling out West on our vacation and stopped in Casper for the night. We wanted to find a good place for breakfast and we found it at Eggigton's. The smothered burrito was wonderful and large enough to share. There were so many good items on the menu, it was had to decide what to get. Wish we could eat here again but unfortunately, we will probably not be in this area again. I highly recommend Eggington's if you are in Casper.

The location was hard to find parking for 4 full size pickups but it was so worth it. 8 out of 8 people said the food was terrific and that they would return. Great service, clean and quite, varied menu, excellent food. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit. The wait was about 40 minutes. As we had so much time to "people watch" I observed not one single employee smile or act cheerful to the customers. As a matter of fact, I witnessed a host and hostess get into a very heated argument. The food was great. The service however is very lacking.

I've never had a bad dish here. Service can be slow but has always been friendly. The orange juice is great!

Delicious! And great service! On a trip this morning, I split the Bacado omelette (served with Red skin potatoes and grilled toast?! That's right: AMAZING organic multigrain with butter melting between so it seeped into every perfect bite) and Triple Berry Pancakes with a friend. They were very generous with both the crispy bacon inside and the avocado on top of the omelette. There was some nice spicy salsa and sour cream to go with that added even more flavour and texture. And the red skin potatoes were fabulous; a little crispy, salty, and addictive. YUM! The pancakes were fluffy and a perfect canvas for the excellent triple berry compote. Whipped cream elevated the dish to cloudy bliss, and adding apricot syrup (they provide you with apricot, blueberry, and maple varieties) brought us to food-induced ecstasy. My friends and I are actually planning on going again while we're still here, it was that good! One note: I tried a few bites of a friend's cheesy hashbrowns. I read some other reviews where people pointed out that they're not crispy on both sides, as is typical of really good hashbrowns. However, they were crispy on top and creamy inside (from the cheese, I assume), so I think if you think of them as a hashbrown/scalloped potatoes hybrid you won't be displeased or surprised. Also, they were many, many notches better than hashbrowns from Country Kitchen or Perkins, so I'm not going to be too picky. Eggington's isn't trying to be Norma's. :P

I had the bacon breakfast burrito smothered in green chili and a side or cheesy hash browns. The food was wonderful the service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable I will defiantly be back this week while I'm in town.

It's my FAVORITE breakfast place in Casper AND Southern Ca!!! The good is always great and the service is excellent!! :) I JUST tried the Mimosas..and now I'm wondering why I waited so long! I don't even waste my time with IHOP (which is HORRIBLE)! Worst thing about Eggington's, the wait. But people won't wait for something that isn't great!! ;) Now I am regretting this review....I SHOULD have said it was horrible so I won't have to wait!! ;P

  • Casey B.

Great food. Busy on weekends but worth the wait. It's right in Downtown Casper. Those of you travelling, it's about 4 blocks off I-25. Way better than McDonalds, or anything else you will get quick if you have about 30 minutes on a week day. Weekends, there will be a wait. My wife is a Jewish, gluten free AND vegetarian. So yes, I live in food hell, and it is hard to find places where she can get more than a salad. Eggington's is one of those places. Best breakfast we have found in the year we have lived in Casper. The variations of Eggs Benedict, and the Cowboy Skillet are amongst my favorites. Chicken Salad Sandwich also is awesome, they put Cilantro in it, and I LOVE Cilantro. French Onion Soup is also very good, but a tad salty.

I quite enjoyed my breakfast this morning at Eggington's. I am in Casper for business and needed some place to go for breakfast - of course my first inclination is to check out the reviews on Yelp and this one had some great ones. I ordered the Huevos Eggington's (their take on Huevos Rancheros obviously) and was not disappointed. The eggs were set atop the refried beans and then hidden beneath mounds of cheese and meat. It was a delicious mess. The only thing I was less enthused about were the cheesy hashbrowns. I LOVE hashbrowns, especially when they are cooked down and crispy. These were definitely not. They were cooked in a large patty form and the edges were great, but the inside seemed undone. And after I was told how GREAT they were by the waitress. Overall, service and food were wonderful. But maybe try the red potatoes instead of the hashbrowns if you check this place out.

I'll start off by saying the food was great. Better than I expected. The service however, was so bad that I feel it warrants only 1 star, regardless of the quality of food. I put in a large order for takeout, which I realize is always a pain for busy restaurants. I told the hostess I was calling it in 90 minutes ahead of time so that they had a heads up. She said it would be done in 15 minutes. Really? 15 entrees done in 15 minutes? Including burgers and chicken sandwiches? I showed up 90 minutes later, and as I expected, the order still wasn't ready. Not a big deal, waited 10 minutes and got all my food. Silly me, didn't count the entrees... Drove all the way across town to distribute the entrees at a business meeting, only to find that we were two entrees short. I called, and the hostess was great, said they'd put a rush on the food, and it'd be done in 10 minutes. So I left two hungry and angry co-workers waiting for their lunch while everyone else ate. It took 15 minutes to drive all the way back (what a pain), and another 5 to park 3 blocks away and walk to the restaurant. So food should be done, right? Of course not. After waiting for another 15 minutes, I asked what the ETA was, and got this response, "They don't want to hurry the burger to make sure it's cooked." Okay, I get that, but at this point, it was over a half hour after I called and after they "put a rush" on my order. Not to mention the hostess was very snooty to me. The manager was also walking around, and very aware of what happened, and didn't make an effort to "fix" things. He actually seemed annoyed when I asked about the status of the food. I noticed the impatient woman waiting next to me, and started talking to her about the wait. She said she had put in an order two hours before, and it was all wrong, and was back to pick up the correct food. She was waiting for 45 minutes, on her second trip there, to get the food she had actually ordered. Not sure if I was happy, or annoyed to know that I wasn't the only one in that same position. Finally my food was ready, after 60 minutes of my call letting them know I needed those two entrees they missed. No apology. No make good. Just a snooty hostess and a stuck up, annoyed manager. Will probably not ever spend my money here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Strictly based on the terrible service alone.

Best service in town! Their breakfasts are superb. Lunch can get crowded and there will be a wait if you arrive at noon. Then, service lags because of the rush. Their soups of the day are also very good.

Definitely one of the better meals to have in Casper. Brunch is the norm, nothing is especially good, but nothing is especially bad. Service and ambience remind me of a boutique diner. Food doesn't disappoint, but it doesn't impress... Last time I was here, they were pushing freshly squeezed juices, I hope they've kept this up. I'll be back... It's one of the few places in this town that isn't terrible.

I've been here twice now in the 3 weeks I've lived in Casper. All I can say is I love this place! I've tried the eggs Benedict and eggington omelet and both were delish!!! Also, the cinnamon rolls, which are huge, are to die for! Everyone told me this was the place to go for breakfast in Casper. I can honestly say, I agree 100%!!

This is the breakfast place in Casper. Be warned, this is not the classic truck stop/diner food that is found in most Wyoming towns. There might be some meals that are considered "progressive," such as, dare I say... wheat toast....and something other than "white" gravy. But really, the food is awesome! I often go with a classic breakfast or breakfast tamales. The biscuits and gravy do have a different gravy that isn't universally loved, but I really like it. Also the lunch is good. Enjoy! Insider secret - they serve alcohol but do not show it on their menu. Beer and mimosas usually, just ask the server.

So I'm visiting the area for work and found this breakfast place on Yelp with great reviews. I decided to come in and I had the Greek frittata...excellent! And the cheesy hash towns are something that I didn't believe could be so good. The weird part is that I got here at 1pm and they close at 2. I was seated right away and the service was great and quick. However, right when my food came, the manager decided to hold a meeting for the staff at the table RIGHT NEXT to mine, and proceeded to chew out the staff on a bunch of things he said he will not tolerate. They went over schedules, menu changes, etc and he even yelled at them about an issue that had happened earlier in the day about a customer. Then he started talking smack about an employee who is not working hard enough. So totally unprofessional!! Don't they have an office in the back? Or can't they wait an hour more until after closing? It sort of ruined my whole experience.

Eggington's was a bit of a quandary. Their brunch is pretty fantastic- I always order an egg dish, usually a skillet. The family-style atmosphere is great if you're with a group, but personally it's not really my scene. The reason I'd hesitate to recommend this place is the service. It's pretty bad. The servers give off an air that everything you ask for is annoying, and usually do things like bring you the check when you've clearly got most of your food left that come off as an attempt to push as many people through as possible. Overall? Good food, bad service. The atmosphere is nice but not my preferred.

Egginton's as a diner is less 'classic American' and more 'trendy boutique'. The type of place my generation will be calling 'classic American' in 30 years. There's an espresso bar with fresh baked goods at the front. Near the register, a list of daily specials is written on a blackboard in colored chalk--things like 'Bacado Omelette' or 'Garden Fields Vegetarian Frittata'. All the old favorites are here, too, though. You can still get your pancake breakfast, scrambled eggs, and grilled ham steaks; that is, if you're into that sort of thing... My brother and I each ordered one of the house specialties and swapped half--the 'Italian Benedict' for him and the 'Florentine Benedict' for me. I had the red skin potatoes as my side and one of their fervently-hawked-but-truly-delicious fresh-squeezed OJs to drink. A double espresso capped off the meal nicely. With that first bite, seeing the smiles on the faces around me and feeling my own shitty grin start to widen, a thought began to fester in the back of my mind. It wasn't until we paid the check and started our drive home that I accepted the veracity of it all--I just had a perfect meal. DISCLAIMER: My support for Eggington's is based primarily on one visit--one brunch on one Labor Day morning. Still, until I go and have a less-than-stellar experience, my rating will remain the same.

Wonderful eatery located in downtown Casper! Parking may be a pain, but the food is worth it. They had wonderful pastries as well as food! I created my own omelet with steak, egg, & ham with hollandaise sauce which was delicious! Also had sides of English muffin and hash browns which were also phenomenal. It was a party of 1 so, my experience!

I'm a big fan of this place go there every Sunday food is really good this is kind of Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch place opens at 6:00 am closes at 2:00 pm staff really nice every now and then you can see the manager walking around and saying Hi making sure you are satisfied really good, as I said before food (specially breakfast) is awesome real natural orange juice, and overall quality of the ingredients, preparation waiting time is just the way it supposed to be. On Sundays it gets a little crowded but Hey that's a good sign just make sure you get there before 9:00 am or after 11:00 am and you should be allright for Casper, Wy no offense it doesnt get better than this.

I can't remember the last time I had such a wonderful breakfast! We located Egginton's using Yelp and decided to check it out due to the great reviews. I'm so glad we did! When we first entered, we could tell by the crowd that we were at a popular restaurant, but we waited only briefly to be seated. While waiting, we were surprised to find samples of their delicious peanut butter brownie, which we enjoyed. In fact, we liked it so much we ordered one to share while deciding what to eat. We tried to stop eating it so we wouldn't spoil our meal but we couldn't and ate the whole thing before we received our meal! Breakfast was as good. I had the Florentine Benedict while my fiance had an omlette. The server was friendly and the place had a great, cozy atmosphere...especially for the price; each meal was less than ten dollars (although the fresh squeezed OJ was $3.99 a glass). As we left, we got two more brownies for the road! You won't want to pass up this restaurant.

This place used to be a very good spot for breakfast on a weekend. They were always busy. The food was good, as was the coffee. They have since changed owners, coffee, and I suspect chefs. The last 4 times I have eaten there for breakfast, I have not been impressed. I will not be going back. I also used to love their cinnamon rolls. I have no idea if they are any god anymore. I have never like the lunches.

I stopped in Casper on a road trip across the US. It was a relief finally arriving at a town after driving for hundred of miles through the desolate state of Wyoming. I decided to pass on the hotel breakfast in favor of something a little tastier, and found Eggington's on Yelp. I arrived at 6am with my mom (which is when they open) so it was empty. The server was nice, and we were immediately seated. We split a cinnamon roll, which was delicious. It was huge, so I'm glad we split it, and perfectly sweet and soft. We both got the Veggie Scramble. The eggs were well cooked, and the toast they were served with was hearty and crunchy. It was a very satisfying meal and I'm so happy I discovered this place!

Stopped by for a late Saturday breakfast while visiting Casper on a business trip. While busy, the restaurant wasn't packed and I was seated in a reasonable time even around noon. The wait for my order to arrive however took far longer than I expected or than is reasonable. The staff and food were worthy of a return visit and I will likely stop in again in the future. (I enjoyed the Eggington's omelette with toast and fresh squeezed orange juice). Enjoyable setting with a comfortable atmosphere. Good for family or small group seating if you aren't in a rush feel patient.

I enjoyed my lunch at Eggington's even though I opted for their breakfast menu. I had the applewood smoked bacon and eggs and liked it. Our server was friendly and very attentive. I also had the lemon bar that was quite tasty. Very good restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped here before heading to Thermopolis. This place is so cute! It gets pretty busy so I would suggest going early. I ordered the Eggington omelet which came with your choice or potatoes or fruit and choice of toast or english muffin. I chose to go with the cheesy hash browns and english muffin, it was so much food but I ate it all because it was so freaking good! I also ordered an orange juice which is fresh squeezed with pulp (not overwhelming, just right).

One thing that makes me angry, no matter how good your food is, is walking in and having to greet myself to a hostess. Instead of walking in and being greeted with a "Hi! Welcome to Eggingtons." or something it was a blank, deer in the headlights stare like I was an inconvenience to be in the most expensive breakfast place in Casper. So, I had to say "Hi! How are you? How long will it be for two?" and I got "uhhhh 30 minutes." NOPE! So... Now I'm going to Perkins.

Eggingtons is a good restaurant. Have eaten there several times & we've never been disappointed. We do wish they were open for dinner. The breakfast items are the best! The huevos Eggingtons and breakfast rellanos are a special treat...but everything is good!

We both had huevos rancheros here with green chile and it was just about as good as we've eaten in New Mexico. We were there for a late breakfast on a Friday and the place was full of local folks which we always take as a good sign. Service was fast and attentive; the food was hot when served as well as being delicious, and the prices were fair. Can't ask for much more. I know that another review said the coffee was bad, but it tasted good to us and we like it black; they serve it in a thermal carafe which is always nice.

Ah Eggingtons. If this were San Francisco, I would give just 4 stars. But we're not talking about San Francisco are we? We're talking Casper Wyoming. As Far as I am concerned, the place inside has the feel like I'm in a big city for example; like Chicago, or New York. It's the quality of service you get in a big city because of competition. Now here in Casper, there is no competition for this kind of restaurant. It serves breakfast and lunch. Open from 6am until 2pm, Mon-Sat. Sun 7am until 2pm. Here is why I'm definitely going back: Very reasonable wait for a table. Food is excellent. We're talkin variety as well. Selection for taste is wide open. I like the eggs Benedict especially. Service outstanding. Coffee is really Great! I never left wanting more somewhere else... Bathroom is always, comfortable. ( I mean always) You leave really happy... Need I say more? But really I should. The serving staff has undoubtedly shown true customer support for all matters... Untimely Service - Meal was Free. Wrong order brought to me - Meal was Free. Now I could choose to go on about the visits when things went wrong. However, the attention the staff took to make things right and make it free, far outweigh its faults. Not to mention the 15 times I visited and everything was perfect. The atmosphere is so ambient and friendly, and the food is ever so good, I expect to return soon enough... and again... and again... They have shown themselves to me in true respect, and I'll bet you'll love it to.

On the way back from our trip to Yellowstone we drove around downtown Casper looking for a local restaurant for lunch and discovered Eggington's. It was crowded when we came through the door but we were seated immediately maybe because most of the customers had a party of two and we had four? Anyway the service was great and the food was fantastic... well except for my wife's. She had the garden fields vegetarian frittata which was lacking in the garden department and was too dry for her taste. I had the pot roast skillet which was good and tasty comfort food! My kids had burgers with sweet potato fries, they loved them. We will come here again if we are in town for breakfast or lunch. My wife will try something else though.

The coffee does suck here, but the breakfast is good. Their green chili is like a pork version of, say, beef enchilada sauce; that is to say that it's more chili than meat, and it's really good! I loved their take on Huevos Rancheros. Had the coffee not been basically brown water I would have added another star.

Every year when I visit Casper I hit Eggingtons a couple of times. The only place in Casper that knows how to cook Eggs Benedict correctly!! They ask you how you want your eggs poached, soft, medium, hard. Get them soft it really adds to the hollandaise. They do it right. Johnny Jays should come here and see how it's done. My son had the French toast and there was so much he couldn't eat it all and he is a French toast inhaler. If you snooze on the weekend you will wait quite awhile for a table. Come after nine and you'll be checking out the dinosaur tracks on the sidewalk in front of the building while you wait for a table.

We went for lunch. The burgers were so over cooked had to put tons of ketchup on to chock it down. Had a lobster bisque soup....no lobster flavor tasted like canned tomatoe soup that was entremely tart. WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN WASTE OF MONEY

I agree with previous reviewer. As an SF Bay Area foodie, I always have to lower my standards when I'm driving through WY, but I was really surprised at the quality and atmosphere at this place. The chicken strips from the kids menu were delicious, the patty melt good and the service exceptional. We showed up right before closing and they didn't even give us *that* look for making them stay late. The menu is large. Bathrooms were clean and the deserts in the front case made me drool though we didn't try any. It's smack in the middle of downtown, and the nice waitress gave us directions to two nearby playgrounds to let my toddler stretch his legs before the final stretch of our journey to Sheridan. We will stop here again.

This place used to be great, but it changed hands and must have changed kitchen people, because now the onion soup sucks and the sandwiches are awful. Service is still super, but hardly makes up for super salty greasy food.

My son and I were batting about 500 in Wyoming for good places to eat. Eggingtons dropped our average. And speaking of average Eggingtons was just that. My son had a hamburger that he requested medium rare and received well done. I just wanted a simple breakfeast of eggs over medium, sausage, homefries and toast. The eggs were runny and the sausage was burnt but tasty. I think they can put out a decent breakfeast ,but I just didn't see it. The wait was about 45 minutes and they gave our spot away when we couldn't get inside fast enough because of the people who were leaving. They did give us the next table and apologized. The wait to get our food was another half hour. So I kind of felt like I wasted a couple of hours. I will say that we are from New Jersey, the diner state and we could have gotten a better breakfeast at any Jersey diner in less than 10 minutes.

We recently had breakfast here while on a road trip from California to Wisconsin. Luckily it was a Sunday so the place was packed with locals. Clearly it was the place to be in Casper. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They even had coffee and snacks set up for people who were waiting (which was a fairly large number). Everything was well prepared and delicious. I had French Toast with fresh berries which was way better than average. Highly recommended.

Good food with big portions. Avoid the cheesey hashbrowns. Nice variety on the menu and good baked food.

Eggington's has good food and a varied menu. However, inconsistent service and kitchen issues are common. I have had some really nice meals there- they are particularly good for breakfast. However, if I go with 3 other people it is a safe bet that at least one of us will have either the wrong food delivered, have food brought out cold, or won't like what we get. They really struggle when they get busy- which is just when they should shine. Fortunately for them, it's Casper and there is nothing to compare here- so we forgive and return. When they are good they are very good!

Stopped for Breakfast Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I saw all the reviews and figured I couldn't go wrong. Well.... just a little wrong. Had a 3 egg Denver Omelet with cheesy hash browns and rye toast. First the toast was soggy and certainly not toasted. I expect toast to be crispy. The cheesy hash browns were tasty. I ask for ketchup and when I turned the inverted bottle up to open the cap, it was dirty. I mean really dirty with black grit and something I couldn't recognize. This made me wonder if I had really made a mistake. Though the place looked clean by all appearances, this was bad. The omelet was "OK" but the artificial cheddar cheese slices on top of it was a real turn off and didn't taste good at all. Goodness, the price of genuine shredded cheddar is not "that" much more is it? The waiter, did NOT return to refill my coffee or my water, or even ask. I was sorely disappointed for the $11 omelet. breakfast.

When we were traveling through Casper on our way home from Yellowstone, we didn't know what to expect when we stopped to eat. Fortunately we found a local favorite for a late Sunday brunch meal. We had to wait for a table for a few minutes, but it was well worth it. The cinnamon roll we had was amazing. We ate breakfast food and it was delicious, scrambles and omelettes. Our waitress was quite busy, but able to handle the load and friendly to us.
