Great restaurant that could be anywhere... Nice interior decoration friendly staff, and good food -even for those with dietary restrictions.

Very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food here! The lettuce wraps were phenomenal and I had the Thai Silk salad which was also very good. I'm from California and didn't expect to find authentic thai/sushi that was this good in Wyoming. Would have rated 4 stars if not for the service. Staff was very friendly and I could see that they were working hard, but appear to be understaffed. The restaurant was maybe 25% full and it took 30 minutes to order an appetizer and receive it, then another 30 to get the entree. Not a bad experience, but luckily enough I wasn't in a real hurry. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Casper!

Totally over priced! Wonderful staff, but seriously 11.95 for a bowl of soup with 2 little shrimp, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Was in from out of town for business - When I asked the hotel receptionist for her recommendation for a vegetarian restaurant and she replied "this isn't California. This is Wyoming - we hunt here", I wasn't feeling too optimistic. My colleague (a pescetarian) and I took to Yelp and decided to give Dsasumo a whirl - And boy we're we relieved we did! Several vegetarian options - Recommend the Kapow w/ tofu and the Drunken Noodles. Decor is pleasant, service is friendly and food is tasty - We ended up eating here 2 of the 3 nights we were in town. If you're a vegetarian and find yourself in Casper, don't panic - Dsasumo will impressively fit the bill.

I gotta give this place props! Super impressed. I'm a food snob with gluten intolerance- I know I can be a pain to order. I called in to place a pickup order and of course had lots of annoying questions but server was patient and helpful. Guided me to a few options, ALL of which turned out to be awesome! I had the tom yum soup, beef salad and fresh spring rolls- some of the best Thai food I can remember eating. I'm so glad I found a yummy spot I can count on when in Casper!

This place is dialed in!!!! The fish is fresh and flown in daily. Great atmosphere and good service and killer sushi

It's "the" place to be it seems in casper. They take reservations cause they are in such demand. It's a nice place the sushi is fresh and on par. The menu has alittle of everything. Chinese, pho, rolls, cocktails, etc. I tried the pop rocks roll. (Sushi roll with pop rocks.) it made a lot of noise while eating it. But didn't taste any different than other rolls. I'm a traditional sushi fan. Classic japanese style simple piece of fish+rice made right. All in all this place is a nice place to eat. But nothing special. They offer all the standard asian food options. But they don't really have anything I saw that was unique. But that being said... Your in the middle of wyoming and it's good raw fish can't complain too much.

Definite improvements hAve been made here. Faster service and more servers. This made a huge difference in my opinion of this place. I had the green chili and my husband had cashew chicken. Both were great. We are looking forward to returning here more often.

Great looking place with some pretty cool music playing. Service was friendly and quick. The sushi was great but the food wasn't up to par. My dish was almost too salty to eat and my wifes chicken was extremely dry.

The sushi was very good. That's all I had when I was there. I have no complaints about the food itself. However, I must say the service was horrible. We waited forever for our waitress to come. Then when my bf ordered soup for both he and I the waitress just brought out the one bowl. I would try this place again, in hopes for better service since the sushi wasn't terrible.

We've been here three times in the last month! I absolutely love finding 'ethnic' food in Central Wyoming, WHO KNEW?! The Avocado App is delish, the Chicken Pad Thai is scrumptious, and the shashimi and sushi is on point!! I highly recommend for date night, lunch with coworkers or a night out with the girls!!

i'm very impressed with Mo the owner. After my negative review, he reached out to me and thanked me for letting him know what my experience was. He was so professional and clearly cares about his business. when i am back in the area, i will give dsasumo another shot. Thanks Mo!

Service was great, food was good. However, something needs to be done with the bathrooms. The second you turn the corner you can smell the bathrooms which are right next to the kitchen. They do not flush well and the smell is enough to make you sick. I will wait until this is resolved to visit again...I mean really...if the restrooms are this bad what is the kitchen situation?

We started with the crispy calamari that was actually soggy and the appetizer sampler. I liked the curry puff the best. I had the honey ginger duck that was pretty good. My co-worker had the drunken noodles that was bland. I tried it too and told him to add soy sauce, which helped. Overall, the my food was good.

Dsasumo is a pretty good place to eat. Japanese bentos for lunch, Thai entrees, and even a pretty respectable sushi bar. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice and comfortable (although acoustics are not great and it can seem loud). What keeps it from 4 stars? The wait staff is consistently poor. While they are nice, they confuse orders, are not attentive, and are very slow. In a place like Casper, options are limited, so I am sure I will be back, but only when I want Thai food (the best in town). Otherwise, for sushi there are other really good options.

Coming from CA and being a picky vegetarian I venture out with low expectations. I was happily surprised to find this GEM in a mining oil town full of cowboys! Food was terrific...EXTREMELY large portions...service was spot on, friendly, helpful and fast without feeling hurried. Drinks were stiff and decor was pleasing to the eye. A MUST VISIT if you are in the area.

Surprisingly good Thai food is how I would describe Dasasumo. Being from Casper I would not expect such a place to exist as Casper is relatively isolated culturally speaking. The interior is spacious yet hip with various images from everyday life in Thailand., an open view of the sushi chief, and well designed bar. The defacto Thai dish that Dasasumo (and every other Thai restaurant serves) Pad Thai is some of the best I have had, as there are some places can make mistakes with the ubiquitous dish. On top of making Thai food, Dsasumo also serves Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The Chinese cuisine comes in the form of fried rice, while the Japanese cuisine manifests in the form of sushi which is overall quite good. If I remember correctly Dsasumo is moderately priced yet at the same time provides good service.

I've only had carry out. Pretty good food. I recommend the noodle dishes. The curry was alright but I've had better. The Thai ice tea was fantastic.

The food tasted really good however. It was very pricey for the quantity and the drinks were hideously expensive ($7 for a glass of house wine and $7 for a mixed drink not top shelf with one shot of liqueur). I think it is like the old saying though jack of all trades but master of none. I would love to see a real Thai or Japanese restaurant in town that didn't do use the word "fusion". They do not really fuse anything it is just they have all kinds of Asian food. To be a fusion restaurant you actually fuse different cultures food together to give a taste of both worlds... NOT THE CASE HERE

Love this restaurant! The atmosphere is very modern and inviting. The sushi chefs are wonderful. I am very hesitant to eat sushi mid-Wyoming, however, the rolls are fabulous! Kudos to Dsasumo for bringing a new flair to Casper! I have even enjoyed oysters as a Friday night special. Fun!!!

Great Thai food! I was very surprised to find a restaurant of this caliber in a small town like Casper. We had the Som Tom, Tom Kha, Pad Thai, and Crispy Duck... I'd recommend them all!
