Fried chicken is where it's at. Super busy which is always a good sign

Since this place is located just outside of the RV park we were staying at, it was very convenient to check out. Although there was a long line for ordering, things moved along fast and we were eating dinner within minutes. Our burgers, hotdogs and fries tasted great plus the shakes were really wonderful. We also noticed how clean the whole restaurant was. The tables, floor and restrooms were spotless. It's quite obvious the entire staff takes great pride in their work. Bottom line the Dash Inn is the place in Buffalo Wyoming for delicious fast food!

A very popular place that is cheap. The cheese burger was very ordinary as were the fries--like something mass produced. This is a big restaurant that is next to I-25 and near I-90. There's a large outdoor seating area under a roof, indoor seating and a drive through window.

Stopped here on our road trip. It's a super small town and I am sure the locals knew we weren't, but this place was busy and that's a good sign. It had a lot of variety. Fried chicken(excellent), burgers (good), and even mexican items lol. And desserts. It's older style fast food seating inside and some outside seating as well. Gal was friendly, helpful and seemed proud to be working there. Cool. Food was really good. Nice place to stop after our long drive and if I ever pass this way again we would come again.

One of the few restaurants open before 5 PM in Buffalo. Menu is nothing special, typical fast food type selection. Very friendly and accommodating service.

Excellent food and worth the wait. :) Stopped here as we were driving through town to head to Yellowstone. Had burgers, coleslaw, and potato wedges.

We had an overnight stay in Buffalo. This was the parking lot that was packed, so we gave it a try. Delicious--and I mean delicious--fried chicken dinner. The chicken was seasoned well with crispy skin and juicy meat. The sides of mashed potatoes and gravy were also very, very good. My husband had a burger, and it was cooked just right with good flavor. If you find yourself in Buffalo, stop here. Very large menu to choose from.

We stopped here on our way to Montana. I don't know if I was just tired of burgers or what. We were on the last legs of a 9 state vacation. I wanted fried chicken so bad, so that's what i ordered. Best fried chicken that I've had in a long time. Crisp and juicy. I wanted to go back for seconds. They were very busy. The line was clear out the door, but well worth the wait.

I took a road trip with some friends out west. Stayed at the Wyo Motel. Dash in had to be about 200 yards away. Food was pretty good and inexpensive. I ordered the fried chicken meal. Their slushies are amazing if you like that sort of thing. If you are nearby I would highly recommend this place. Girls working were also very nice.

If you read my previous post about "any port in the storm" the same situation arose for us in Buffalo Wy. We were hungry and needed a break from hours on the motorcycle. Not much to choose from so we decided to stop by the Dash Inn. We thought it was a full sit down restaurant and were surprised when we walked in and saw that we had to order fast food style. They has many things to choose from including some tacky names, I passed on the Dasharito! We ordered a 5 piece chicken to share, I got the fries with a side of gravy and a side of cole slaw. Wifey got the potato wedges and shared my cole slaw. Our food took a while, but that is a good thing, means its not sitting around KFC style. What was got was incredibly good. The chicken had awesome flavor and the fries were nice and crispy. I must say that the gravy tasted like package and the fries were probably frozen from a bag, but they were still cooked to perfection. I was happy with my meal and would say that might have been some of the best fried chicken I have had. * WARNING - as I was waiting in line a few people came in because their to go orders were screwed up, so be careful before you leave and get 10 miles down the road.

We stopped here on our 3 week road trip, this was right off the 25, easy on and off. Good cheeseburgers. Fried chicken for the road and it was crispy and fresh, an excellent fried chicken! Good food, friendly staff and clean restrooms. If you have a taste for a good burger or some excellent Fried Chicken and you are in or near Buffalo Wyoming this is the place.

The way Fast Food should be... Quick, Fresh & GOOD!. Most of the stuff they make in house, and the staff is super friendly and helpful when your a newbie. Great prices too. My personal favorites are the patty melt with the wedges, and the fried chicken. The chicken rivals any I've had.

Arrived in Buffalo, WY from Utah for a brief vacation and the first place we ate was Dash Inn. I got the Dash Burger with potato wedges, both of which were AMAZING! The potato wedges were by far the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked outside and in. Everything about the burger was wonderful. The veggies all tasted fresh. The bun was great too. The meat was great quality for such a small, inexpensive burger joint. There was a very unique taste to my burger, I can't quite put my finger on it, maybe a sauce on the meat? Anyway, it was heavenly. I will be stopping in at least one more time before I leave.

This place reminds me of bowling alley food. My wife ordered tacos and chips and salsa. The salsa was literally Pace picante and the Sysco chips couldn't have been more stale. The tacos were a poor man's version of Taco Bell, if that is even possible. I had the "dash burger" which was fine, nothing to write home about. Fries were super-average. The staff was nice, the place was clean, and the price was very reasonable. But if you get a good deal on mediocre food, is it really a good deal? I'd skip this place.

Fast food homestyle. WAY better than your regular chains, but still fast food. Cheap but a large solid menu. Low cost, fast service and good food get 4 stars.

A typical small-town burger joint. It came highly recommended by my nephew, who lives in Buffalo. It must be popular with the locals, the line for the drive-thru went around the building at 7pm on a Friday. The staff was very friendly, and fast-working. No complaints about the service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was good, but the small burger patty was overcooked and dry. French fries were very good. My daughter ordered spare ribs, they were somewhat fatty, but large. The wife ordered a fried chicken platter. She liked the chicken a lot. The food is cooked to order, so it's fresh and hot. There is plentiful comfortable bench seating and tables, and the place is very clean. You get to bus your own table.

Dash Inn has been a "family favorite" for as long as I can remember. My dad used to pack us up after church and buy multiple "dinners" for all of us to share. As kids, we would fight over who got the last pork rib, potato wedge, scoop of mashed potatoes... alright, we'd fight over it all. As a teenager, I'd frequent Dash Inn on multiple lunches throughout the school week and get to enjoy a Dashburger or soft taco with a serving of potato wedges that, finally, I could eat in peace. Fast forward to my thirties and I still crave the entire menu from states away. Just got back to visit after almost 8 years... and I'm very happy to say that its exactly how I remember it. The food is absolutely fantastic. The Dashburger is still juicy and messy (which in my opinion, if a burger doesn't require a napkin or two... its a waste of time and calories) and the potato wedges are piping hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly moist and tender on the inside. This place never disappoints and, in time, I'll be packing up my kids one day to give them the same chance at the last pork rib (and of course make bets on which one will win).

Great fried chicken. Traveling from Cali and this place was recommended by a local. He did not steer us wrong.

You'll come in because the place has a cheeky double entendre sort of name but you'll soon come to find out that the "The Dash" serves up one of the best burgers in the country.

The fried chicken was great. We did carry out. Chicken tasted fresh and the coating was just right. Fast service.
