We have a second home in this area and have struggled to find good, clean restaurants, with great service. Don Patron is a gem in the area. Every time I've been in the place is immaculately clean, right down to the baseboards (yes, I look). The servers always look neat and are very attentive. Warm chips and salsa come to the table as soon as you arrive and they're really great about keeping the basket full. The menu is really huge. I've had the fajitas and they're great! The only complaint I have is that they only give you two tortillas. When I've ordered chicken dishes that aren't fajitas, the meat isn't seasoned. It always tastes fine and is cooked perfectly, I just want more flavor. Tacos are good. Overall I'm always pleased.

Horrible. Nothing was more than below average! Salsa was cilantro tomato sauce. Chips were cold. Cheese dip was watered down. Entrees were TV dinner quality and the worst thing was the desert sopailla was flat, cold and OLD!!! Never coming back.

Great restaurant! We were staying at the Resort and want to find a place to eat and drink for a good price. We definitely found it here! Had fajitas for 2 & a grande margarita coming in at a grand total of 30$, the marg was 10$ but it was large and potent! We will be headed there again before we check out!

After checking into our hotel we went here for dinner. The hotel clerk said this place was the best for the price as well as the quality of food in the local area. The restaurant was very busy lively and service was pretty good. They did mess up our drink order but quickly fixed that when we told them about it. I tried for the first time the Piña Loca it was delicious. It is similar to a sweet-and-sour chicken and shrimp dish with onions and peppers served in half a pineapple. The kids taco salad was pretty tasty also she said. Stacy had some type of fajita dish with chicken beef and shrimp and liked it. Overall it was a very good meal and the price was very good for what we had a lot of food at a good price.we would definitely go back to this restaurant again

The wait staff is weak. The food is pretty good. The drinks are good. The music is good. The decor is good. We had to ask for utensils after our food arrived. We ordered guacamole but it did not arrive to eat with the chips & salsa. It was served with dinner after we ate the plain chips. The empty glasses were ignored and had to ask 3 random employees for things when our waitress was missing most of our needed time. But the food and drink are good so we are glad this oasis existed on our travel stop. The flan is good. The fried ice cream is so so.

Good quick stop on a trip through the area. Just what you wold expect for a modern Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the food.

As good as Mexican food gets within 30 miles or so.

This place was fair. I was expecting better food but it was good enough for dinner last night. Even the price of a Corona is expensive I found. I probably would have settled for Taco Bell over Don Patron's but I am a Mexican Food snob...For all the gringos I'm sure it is more than good enough.

This was the best Mexican food I've had outside of Texas. We were staying about ten miles away and it was so good we actually came back the second night! I had fajitas and, unlike many places, the chicken was large, quality pieces (not scraps I feel like you often get when you order fajitas). My boyfriend has Celiac disease and he was able to get his fajitas in a nice, soft white corn tortilla and was very happy (and didn't get sick after eating either night). The servers were friendly and attentive and the prices were right in line with what you see at most Mexican restaurants.

Better than Taco Bell but still plagued by too much salt and cheese, the bane of my existence in Appalachia. I ordered two burritos to go and got a LOT of food for $20. I only had to wait about 10 minutes. Would I eat here again? Possibly, but I wish they had not Americanized their food so much that it is less authentic. Also, I found it almost impossibly to read the take away menu because the type was so teeny tiny, itsy bitsy.

I travel frequently and this trip found me in Weston, WV. I asked for recommendations from the hotel staff and they suggested "the new Mexican place across the road". To be sure, I check the reviews on Yelp! And they confirmed the hotels reviews. The food was delicious and affordable. The staff pleasant and attentive. The decor intriguing. I had the chicken burrito and cheese quesadillas combo. It was very good. I would certainly recommend eating here.

Not sure why people are saying this place is good... Unless your idea of a burrito is a tortilla, nasty ground beef and tomato paste on top. I don't even call that a burrito! Taco Bell has more flavor in their food then that place!

Yelp comes through again. Excellent lunch, attentive staff, and fun decor.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
